New guild face-lift, new introductions thread.
So let's get introducing peeps!
To get the ball rollin':
Howdy! Just call me Waffles. I'm in my mid-twenties, the female variety of waffle and Australian to boot. (this means I'm on at crazy times to the rest of you)
Waffles is also taken. His nickname forever will be Syrup. You can thank our Guild Cap'n for that nickname. Waffles and Syrup have been together for almost five years now.
I have a stalk thread in my sig if you wish to see what I get up to on Gaia, or view mine in the sub-forum in this guild! (when I eventually make it that is)
I like to write huge posts, so beware.

I prefer to roleplay het. pairings these days, and as much as I like to play females mostly, I will play males without a problem :3

I be twenty-eight; living in the good-ol' over-rated state of California. Northern, to be precise. I'm strange, random, sometimes bitchy but all-around awesome person.
Been roleplaying for seventeen-ish years; but don't be intimidated by it. I try my best to accommodate fellow writing partners--just as long as you give me good stuff to respond back with. sweatdrop Not to worry, in return, I give you something to work with as well. I'm pretty much cool with writing anything--but I am seriously a noob-like girl when it comes to "Yaoi"-type of writing. Never got into writings of the boyxboy stuff, so it will have to be a super-awesomely-epic storyline for me to get into it. Other than that, up for anything.

I'm Fuu, feel free to call me whatever floats your boat, even if you have to censor it. razz
I just turned twenty-four and I've been married two years, my husband's in the Army and I'm unemployed, so I have quite a lot of free time on my hands. Which is why I love to roleplay so much. I'm in North Carolina, so EST!
But I have insomnia - Noir can attest to the fact I'm on all sorts of bizarre hours.
I prefer to do females in a het pairing. I have nooooo idea what literacy I am, but I do my best to match up to my partner, if that helps at all. As long as I have something to respond to, rather then eight paragraphs o thought. That has happened and it was awful.
I like to think I'm pretty easy to work with, plot with, chat with - generally talk to. 4laugh I can't wait to meet you guys and get to writing with everyone!

Good morrow, I prefer to be the ambiguous type, age and gender undefined, but I prefer to be called a male as compared to female, despite what anything says about me only believe half of what you see~
My age? Also undefined, it doesn't matter how old I am, age what stop me from rping with you as I please.
I live in Las Vegas, so PST. I tend to be on during the afternoon, and I enjoy rping. I recently quit my job due to harassment issues from a female, so I'll have enough free time to keep up, but I'll be doing things at my own pace.
If im slow...its because I have to be reminded of where I need to post, I am in multiple guilds and I have a bad addiction to League of Legends, so forgive me.
I prefer to play men. In any pairing, I can play a good female mind you, but male's are just more fun for me~
Ah where are my manners! I am normally called Shiro, but I accept Icey as well, or any special title you give me.
I suck at plotting. I get good ideas once in a great while so don't be surprised if I may come up with something good, and ridiculous the next.

I am `MaliceMizer but Malice, Malmal, or Mally are all equally acceptable. As long as I know you are indicating me, feel free to make up your own username-derivative for me.
I've roleplayed a little bit of everything over the years (gosh, almost ten years here on Gaia?). I am partial to playing regular run-of-the-mill plain-ol-Joe humans, but I do have an arsenal of bizarre, highly-detailed fantasy characters. I want to be a refreshing change to the Tragic Sue trend with characters whom are actively getting their life back together or keeping their chin up in spite of the shitty things that happened / are happening around them. Or - even better! - I want to push the boundaries of character creation not with unique backstories but with unique personalities.
My writing is not spectacular but I hope to develop distinct characters to compensate for my flaw. You know, I keep saying, "oh, I am going to quit, there are no more good roleplays!" or "I have evolved past what Gaia can offer!" but I'm still here, and probably will be here for a long while more.
Anyway, I like collecting dolls, sewing, collecting old Singer machines, crafts in general, foreign music, and eccentric video games. Nice to meet you all!!

I'm female obviously and soon to be twenty. Pretty much halfway through college. I live in the USA, the ocean state of Rhode Island to be more exact tee hee. Consider that to be a gift since I rarely tell people my state.
I get distracted so I tend to come online at random times these days, briefly in the early hours or afternoon but seem to come back in the later: evening/night time. I used to be online all the time. However I am anything but scarce since I check gaia daily.
I guess I've been Rping for three years? I lost internet so I wasn't doing it for a while. I play males and females, in straight and gay pairings. I'm a literate Rper for the most part. I play men alot these days since most females wish to play women or can't tackle the art of playing dudes (for whatever reason). I find guys fun to play and sometimes I play them because my partner can't or there's a lack of men in a Rp. Mostly my characters end up in straight relationships but I'm interested in doing more malexmale or femalexfemale romances. I guess I like modern Rps since fantasy Rps make me wonder what to write. xD I like dealing with humans since they're simple but I think I need to work more with other creatures. Aside from humans I have a tendency toward making vampire, werewolf, demon and angel characters. Not too into nekos or faes, or anything else for that matter but I think I should expand and try it out. I'm curious to see what kinds of interesting Rps I will participate in here. smile I like to plot together, and chat with my partners. It keeps things from dying or growing dull. <3

I'm Dark Doe Alysse although my regular nickname is simply Alysse, and I am female.
If you want to call me Doe, or Dark, or Midnight, or some other such nickname that isn't rude, go ahead, but be sure to quote me the first time you use it so I know you're talking to me!
I'm a university student from the great white north, and I live in the realm of science studies, so expect my posting to be slower than normal between September and April
(because, you know, studying).
I'm involved in way to many rps for my own good, so I'll probably only make one character
(okay, although I say that, chances are I'll throw myself in the deep-end and get in over my head as usual >.>)
I play both males and females .
I will play any pairing, although I'm more into story and character development than into romance.

okay, sweeties, let's check off that nifty list: I go by phantom and don't try me on "hoofs" 'cause I'm far over that one. so not cool, gaiz. not cool. (come on, it's a book reference!) You don't have to know my real name for us to be friends, if you do, I think you have some serious problems, friend. I might just think you are some creepy stalker out to rape me or somethin'...
oh, and fuu, you really should think about getting a new couch. It doesn't fit with the decor at all. I would go with cream or light brown. And your milk needs to be thrown out. It's about a week old.
Wah-- I forget we were talking about me! That's an important topic so let's not get off track...
I'm nineteen and I'm a female. I'm sure about that one, it's a bit of a ghost that haunts around and bites my rear-end when least convenient. If you know what I mean. I'm as single as an old boot, though. Or a sock in the dryer. That's freaky, you know? Next the dryer will start eating people.
Home sweet home, Illinois, though I've gotta say that I'd probably rather live elsewhere. CT time over here and, as of now, I don't have a job, BUT NEED ONE, and going to school for art. I'm a trifle lazy... okay, I am so lazy it's a disease. I think it's terminal, gaiz.
As for roleplaying, I don't think it really matters how long I've been doing it for since I've never seen it actually mean anything... But, I'd call myself lazy literate! I can write one hundred words to over three thousand! But unless that roleplay is totally the shiz, I won't give you that much. Maybe if you hang me by my toes and whack me a bit, maybe. I can play gents or gals and which I prefer depends on the character and situation. Just don't expect me to play a certain gender because you "only play girls". It gets annoying after awhile I am sure you are all aware. Honestly, I am open to almost anything but greatly prefer heterosexual pairings. If you expect a good homosexual pairing, I wouldn't look to me first. I would probably bomb on it. patience, friends, patience. Oh! And throw at me whatever nonsense you've got for your stories! Even if it is freaky weird shiz. I got it.
What else should I say? I love a good story and the best time to roleplay EVER is that interesting genre medieval fantasy. I think I may just crawl under a rock and cry if you give me that one.
And I'm a scary person. A very scary person. I'll eat your soul with a FORK and giggle like a hysterical chipmunk.

Hello all, my name is the speaker of truth. I'm called speaker, chi, or 'hey you', but any greeting will suffice. I'm the captain of the guild Slavery and Servitude, and I was invited by CaptainTapole to join this community. I hope I can help, what with the most recent reboot of the guild! Let's see, about me, about me.... Well: I'm currently 18, I'm a guy, I live over on the East Coast, more specifically New England (not gonna say where though), I'm Chinese, however I was born and raised in America. Music wise: I like most things, from classical to death metal, techno to swing, and almost everything inbetween. I just have a particular dislike of pop, bad BAD rap, and country music. Call me out on it, but everyone has their preferences, and I only hold my opinions accountable to myself. As far as activities go: I'm an actively training Taekwon Do instructor. I bike pretty frequently, I enjoy taking long walks by myself or with a friend. Swimming is always fun, and I'll never pass up the opportunity to climb trees. When it comes to posting: I consider myself literate, though I know the definition of that kind of fluctuates. I post upwards of 2 paragraphs per post, but what I get is what you'll receive. I've done posts of 6-7 paragraphs at a time, but that was more reflective of the person I was working with. I always stress proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and so forth, as I think it important. Personality? What can you gander from this post alone? Anyways, hello everyone! My name is Navashuryn, though you can call me whatever you suits your fancy. I've been a member of Gaia for... Wow, going on ten years, since I joined September 26th of 2003. I'm a twenty-seven year old female, by the way, and I will be turning twenty-eight in December. And the lovely Fuu invited me to join, in case you were wondering where this strange person popped up.
I've been roleplaying since about 2008 (there was one roleplay that I was in back in 2005, but that died before it could get anywhere, and then I was on a semi-hiatus after that), and I like to think I've evolved a lot since then. I think I range between semi-literate and literate, with occasional trips into the advanced lit department. It all depends on several factors, such as what I have to work with, and I occasionally get moments of inspiration that I just go with. I do try to mirror my partner, though.
Let's see, I prefer to do heterosexual pairings; I just never really got into Yaoi and Yuri, so please don't ask me to. On the plus side, I am willing to play either gender. In fact, I've been playing males so much lately, I'm a bit rusty when it comes to playing females. cat_whee I have been told I do sibling characters very well. I kinda love playing multiple characters, lol, and I looove plotting. You can just ask Fuu; we have... seven roleplays together? Yeah, seven. cat_xd I just like having fun in general. cat_3nodding
Just as a warning, how often I post will depend heavily on how I feel when I get off of work. It might be once a day, or it might be once a week on my days off, which are Friday and Saturday. The next couple of weeks will be very long work days, since I get off at 6:15pm (8pm on Wednesdays), and then have to take the bus home, which is basically an hour trip for me. Oh, and I'm on Pacific Time, so you can calculate what time that'll be for you.
Anyways, if you are interested in any of my characters (and I do plan on adding more), feel free to message me. I won't bit... hard. emotion_awesome
