Hobbies:

• Singing: Specifically rock. She wants to join a band! Margarita jumps at any opportunity to sing: talent shows, karaoke bars, you name it. If you're in or forming a band, she is sure to sign up! She's particularly fond of the 70s through the 90s, but there are songs she loves in most every era.
  
• Roller-Blading: The wind in her hair, the occasional scrapes on her knees...Margarita has been roller-blading since she was seven years old (to her it sounds impressive). This is really just her fun way of exercising She does do some of the more extreme roller-blading at skate parks, but she usually just zips through the normal parks.
  
• Shopping: Mostly window-shopping, really, as Margarita isn't among the crème de la crème and doesn't have a job of her own (yet). Margarita can be seen at malls, music stores and fashion stores, especially. She also likes to hang around thrift stores and the occasional novelty shop.

Virtues:

• Early-Riser: It's not so much that Margarita wakes up in time for school during the week, it's that she does so on her days off school and enjoys it. She likes to start the day off early and have all that extra time to enjoy life. She usually spends her early mornings (after the typical routine of showering, getting dressed and breakfasting) on one of her hobbies, but will occasionally spend it on her chores.
  
• Cheerful: Margarita is rarely seen in a low mood and has a bright and buoyant demeanor. She'll usually try to make the best of any situation. She enjoys life and sometimes that joy will spill out into those around her. Sometimes it won't, but she'll try to not let that bother her. This isn't to say she doesn't express negative emotions from time to time. They just don't come out often
  
• Experimental: Margarita likes to try new things and isn't afraid to take a few risks. She tends to look for doorways to new experiences and almost never turns down the opportunity to try something new.

Flaws:

• Heedless: Margarita is an "act-first, think later" sort of girl and pretty much lives in the here-and-now, ignoring most problems and consequences in order to have a good time. She drowns out any worries she may have over the past or future by having fun.
  
• Unsympathetic: If Margarita can't get you to brighten up and have fun, she's done dealing with you. She's afraid of confronting her own feelings, so she certainly can't afford to have you bringing her down. She'll drop you like a rag doll and lose herself in the noise of the party.
  
• Contrary: Margarita has a hard time accepting what is currently "popular". She grew up hearing all the messages that it is okay to be your own person/to have braces/to be odd that she subconsciously equated social acceptance as something bad. She feels an irresistible urge to be different from others around her and hasn't bothered to explore any reasons why.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: A sort of blue-pink hazel. Basically light blue on the outside and light pink haloing the pupil.

Hair: Light blue, lighter (to the point of practically being white) at the roots than the tips.

Clothes: She tends to be attracted to the neon brights and blocky comic book shapes of the 80s and 90s which are making a resurgeance. (Think of La Roux's music videos, Neil Gaiman's Sandman series or the Jem cartoon series). She tends toward lighter, brighter colors and glam rock styles.

Leona Miro: Margarita's mother (37). Leona is an independent woman, having raised Margarita alone while sometimes working as many as two jobs and taking college classes before getting her dream job as a fashion designer. Leona rarely mentions her daughter's father, to the point where Margarita doesn't even know his name. She did accidentally slip that she met him at a concert, which has Margarita convinced that he is famous.

Yvonne Daly: Margarita's aunt and Leona's older sister (41). Married with two children, Aunt Yvonne was like a second mother to little Maggie. She's a bit more traditional than her younger sister, never entirely approving of a pregnancy out of wedlock. Even so, she has always been there to support Leona and look after Margarita.

Jesse Daly: Margarita's Uncle and Yvonne's husband (40). A bit of a joker, Uncle Jesse was Maggie's sole father figure growing up.

Roma and Paige Daly: Margarita's twin cousins (15).
