"That's it?" Considering that there were only five more days - less than a week - until Human World Halloween, the motley crew of Trick or Treaters assembled for the occasion was well, motley. Noxious Firth, head of all Trick or Treaters, was pretty sure that his throbbing headache incoming had very little or nothing to do with the apple cider he swindled from A Certain School Secretary. "Where's everyone else? Where are all the Trick or Treaters needed for Halloween?"
Hex, the only other Trick or Treater present, cautiously put up a hand. "I-if I can guess, err, I think, well you know, Red came back and, she borrowed them, and and-"
Silence.
Nox stared at Hex as if asking if the flitterbic was for real, and upon realizing they were for real and that the Trick or Treaters had, five days prior to Halloween, where they were pretty much expected to bring in a giant brunt of the yearly Fear gathering quota, pretty much abandoned him, felt for once a little more alone than that one time he had spent a month in chained up in Deus Ex. He sighed, and hung his head in defeat. "Look, we just- we just need volunteers. One, two, any volunteers. You can do that right?"
"Aye-aye captain!" The salute Hex gave Nox was not exactly the most reassuring one. OOC WELCOME TO TRICK OR TREATING - AMITYVILLE EDITION- This is a TWO PART game! There are prizes for each segment! - To view the counterpart to this, go HERE- Nox and Hex, the notorious Trick or Treaters, want your help to gather as much Fear as they can now and up to Human World Halloween! They want to show Halloween what it means to be a trick or treater as well! This is where you come in. - You might have noticed a really sloppy sign in the school, maybe you got a scare mail, maybe you noticed it as a really ugly brightly flashing CLICK HERE ad on the interwebs. Whatever the case, with promise of a generous amount of pay in silver pumpkin seeds (To Be Announced, as according to the ad), you are here, awaiting further instructions. - Wait isn't it usually not allowed for students to go into the Human World to gather Fear? Jump first, ask questions later. A.k.a. Hel saw the words ‘trick or treater’ and thus deemed it necessary to participate. She didn’t really read all that it entailed, but hey, how could that go wrong, right? She was just eager to get her hands dirty to find out more about Trick or Treating.
She made sure to sign herself in first, messily, grinning all the while.

Siobhan squealed her whole way there, signed up, and squealed some more. The banshee was hoping this volunteer session would give her some more experience in what came so natural to her!
The only thing to stop her would be laryngitis!

Although Bul already had a certain inside hitch with TOT Nox and here he planned to make a valiant effort to jump on any other open opportunities as possible to help with his TOTing duties. The sooner he could officially get the job the better. The less he would have to worry.. unless hunters had a big deal with the kind of boils and ghouls that did the clean and lawful (well.. semi lawful) work of Halloween... aka, not killing and eating anyone.

Maybe he'd even get some bugs along the way. This seemed right

Oddly enough, Danny had never thought about being a Trick or Treater. She had Rage as her mentor simply because he was loud and punched things- her scope of vision didn't go beyond that.
BUT! Nox was in need, and Danny was there to assist! She figured why not? What was the worst that could happen?
After all, trying new things was one of Danny's favorite pastimes. Ever the daredevil, she signed herself up, big smile on her face. This would be fun! Genim saw the bulletin and grinned. While he wasn't allowed to do a lot of things, he was excited for this, hey, it could be really, really fun! And he'd get pumpkin seeds for it, bonus!

Rosy floats near the sign up sheet, looking it over for a moment. A chance to help out Nox, it made her kind of curious. Why would Nox need help on something like this? Reading further down she couldn't help but grin. Ah now she was getting it. It didn't really seem like such a bad thing, and it would be fun right? With a rather lazy shrug, she pushed her curls from her face as she signs up. Floating backwards away from some of the others, she found herself chuckling as she couldn't believe she just signed up for this.
If it meant getting away, and playing tricks on people, then by all means she was will to do that. His life was totally messed up, he was confused, having communication issues with his ghoulfriend, and probably should be working harder on personal things but--
Well, it was Nox. And if there was anything that'd put him on the fast track--or keep him on the fast track to being a ToTer, it was something he was ON.
Roch grinned at Nox, heading for the form to sign up.

Checking his scare mail had paid off, or so it seemed. Tucking his long nailed hands behind his back Spinar sauntered towards the signups for the trick or treating. After all this was a chance to do something normally not allowed. Spinar wasn't about to turn down such an opportunity.
A lazy smile stretched over his lips as he plucked the pen up to sign though a pause hit mid 's' as he realized what he was about to do. Wasn't this kind of ironic him signing something? Ah well, finishing the sing-up with a lovely printed 'Siku', his nickname, he moved away to observe those around him curiously eyeing each of the other volunteers.
Relaxing on the heels of his boots he flashed a toothy grin to Rosy, tail curling around his waist. "I wonder if this will fun..." The words were murmured to himself, though if close enough could be heard by another. I AM SIGNING UP FOR TRICK OR TREATING: Name: Spinar, Urtivo Trick or Treater Name: TRICK OR TREAT HAIR-RAISER. Your special talents: Good at bringing the temperature dooown. Can produce irritatingly loud scratching with claws, loud thuds with tail. Good tail coordination, strength for lifting things stealthily. Your costume: Best he could do on short notice? Rip up one of the older dark blue and black Victorian suits his father gave him with his claws and attach some of his mini pets fur to it with glue. Along with a little 'blood' and he successfully looked like a mauled gentleman. How much Fear do you think you can collect: Around 50 to be safe.

Shun wasn't one who was aiming to become a Trick or Treater, but he did hear there was an opportunity to get paid. He needed some seeds and so he decided to give it a shot.

Edgar had seen the ad while surfing the interwebs. Normally, the zomboil would ignore them, but for some reason this one was ugly and flashy enough to catch his eye. He figured this was an opportunity he couldn't pass up, besides, he didn't have anything better to do. He looked at the sign up sheet a moment before signing up.

Hel was pretty impressed to see all the beings who were showing up for this…lots of new faces…were all the others students too? The arrival of some familiar faces though had the ghoul grinned, like that of Bul. The monster got an enthusiastic full arm wave the wingless valkyrie. “ Are you ready!?” She cried, clearly excited for whatever it was they were going to be doing. Then Shun came. Her bro. The ghoul immediately started to wave her arm wildly at him as well. “Shun!” She cried. “ Are you here to—What in Jack’s name? Are you in costume?”

Were... they really going to the human world? That alone had been enough to get Agsil out of her room and sacrifice a few pieces of her clothes to look more the part. The sign she'd come across in the halls also offered payment... how could she refuse with those two gems dangling in her face?
Keeping her wings tucked in close, she surveyed others in the room briefly before making her way over to the signup sheet. Pressing a nail to the page, she printed her name and stepped back from the group to wait, bringing herself closer to a night hag. A gold coin was rolled between thumb and forefinger, scowling as a little line of fresh ink smeared across the shining surface. Using a bit of her bandages to try and clean it, her violet gaze flickered towards a frost demon not far from her.
"It should be... provided we can really get to the human world without a hitch."

Can write on the walls with her ink..? Your costume: Unfortunate belly dancer. A sparkling blue top with matching harem pants, clawed up and stained with "blood." Bandages with similar stains wrap around her arms, hands, and feet. A few gold coins hang here and there across the top, and the top and bottom hems of the pants, but nothing that would cause excess noise. How much Fear do you think you can collect: Anything less than 50 and she'll be hurting someone.

There were quite a few others here for sure. Shun wasn't paying them a whole lot of mind though. And he would have been content to just keep to himself. Upon hearing a familiar voice though, it seemed that wouldn't be the case here. Turning around, he saw Hel coming close while waving her arms wildly like a madman.
At her question, he simply shrugged. Not quite a costume since he had this laying around.
"Does it matter?" he finally said after a short while.
