Here's the drill, folks. To get this sorted out quick an clean, but also with a measure of fairness, there will be multiple threads with other themes to vote on. I have tried to fit each of the more popular ideas into separate threads so as to not make anyone choose between them too soon, but you will have to eventually.

Also, while it's still in this stage, I would like you to post when you vote. Copy the code below and fill it out, please. If you are having a hard time coming up with an idea now then dont't sweat it. These voting threads will be here until the weekend is over. If you still can't come up with an idea by then just vote and post your idea later if it is relevant to do so in the later stages of voting.

Gwendolyn Barrett is voting for [Holidays] because they have THIS awesome idea for it: [Each room is their own Holiday Town, similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas. For those that celebrate different traditions, the co-host could represent those Other holidays that fall around the same time or something like that. The Main room could be the gateway to the other holiday towns. Main Characters could be: Father time and New year baby,Cupid and Eros/Aphrodite and I cant think of other right now but that's just New years and Valentine's Day town Ideas. ]

Mademoiselle Alvinette is voting for TV Land because they have THIS awesome idea for it: Again, as with historical eras, TV Land is a theme that offers us a LOT of room to be creative and to come up with some diverse ideas that will please fans of all genres. In this one, I for one would LOVE to see a soap opera! xd Especially since soap operas have a big cast, wild and crazy plots, lots of opportunities to totally ham it up, and you can take the plot pretty much anywhere! For instance, one of my RL favorite soaps, General Hospital, has had everything from doctor-nurse romances to Mafia intrigue to espionage! So yeah, like I said, TV Land gives you plenty of room for all sorts of ideas!


Oooh oooh oooh, and maybe also one of those channels that shows old movies all the time! That could be fun! heart

Cronic Hiccups is voting for TV Land because they have THIS awesome idea for it: It could be possible that certain TV networks are also trying to cancel the shows featured in the ball, giving reason for the struggle... Plus it seems that it could be incredibly easy to relate to for the guests

But really, I'd love to see the rooms as different carnival tents. We have had many wonderful suggestions this year, but not a lot of them can be so easily adapted into a setting as others. Carnival is one of the best for that and it is also fun and entertaining. We can get away with just about anything with this theme, and it will all be fun.

Spottedteddybears is voting for Zodiacs because they have THIS awesome idea for it: Eran, Barrel, a few others and I were discussing the possibilities for the Zdoaic theme! It's so versatile and such a vast array of ideas! One (my favourite) is the main host would be Ophichus. He's angry that the 12 older zodiacs are so famed and loved, and he was just discovered scant years ago. Over the years of hiding behind the shadows of the 12 zodiacs, Ophichus became bitter. On the 11th year of Gaia's annual ball, he decided to bring Gaians together to show the world how the 12 older zodiacs are not as great as they are portrayed to be, and he is not as unimportant. He puts the opposite and clashing zodiacs together, asking their personalities clash. Constellations are the cohosts, each room having the opposite zodiacs in them. The main host would be Ophichus. Image a bunch of that up, but that's the main outline. ^^
