I. How do I participate?

Follow the steps! 4laugh

1. Post one post in thread. (Do not chat here please! gonk )
2. Please number your post! It's not a requirement to number the posts, but it is helpful:

The item that you will receive is from the Guild Event item list (see post #3), by gift or trade from Team Sprocket Zen. If at a point it looks like the guild mule is running out of prizes before the end of the event, the guild event will be closed early. If this situation does happen, everyone who has followed the guild event participation requirements will receive an item from the guild mule but the guild event will be closed to additional participation. II.Q&A regarding guild event

Got a question? heart If you have any questions not answered here, please contact Newzpop Reporta Tyro Bong.

1. Are mules allowed in this guild event?
No. Please also see the guild announcement regarding this subject: Guild Give-Away Event Threads do NOT allow mules!

2. Can I post anywhere in guild to be able to get an item?
No. Just this thread. There is only one thread for this part of the guild event.

3. How many times am I required to post during the guild event to get an item?
If you would like to receive one item, please post once during the guild event period in this guild event thread.

4. Can we post more than once to get more than one item?
No. Please only post once. You will only get an item once.

5. Can I help give out items during this guild event?
No. The only one that will be giving items out during this guild event is Team Sprocket Zen.

6. Can I request an item from the list?
No. (See answer to question #7.)

7. How do you select an item to give out?
After you (the participant) posts once, I go to the mule's inventory and the first thing that catches my eye in the inventory (that is a part of this guild event item list) is the item that’s given out to the participant.

8. I want to chat in the guild event thread! May I do that?
Please do not use this guild event thread as a chatting thread. gonk It's encouraged if you'd like to chat in guild to either make your own thread or continue a conversation in an existing thread. 3nodding

9. If no chatting is allowed, what do I put in my post?
It can be a short message. Anything you want as long as its within Gaia’s rules.

10. I want to make my own guild event thread too to give out stuff ! Is it allowed?
Please don't. heart Too much going on at once might get confusing. Let's keep it to just this guild event thread for now. smile

11. When will the mule be available to give out the items?
The mule will be on at least once a day during the guild event. If you participate in the guild event, you will receive a gift (or a trade) with the item in it from the guild mule, Team Sprocket Zen, as soon as possible ideally during the span of the guild event. (The latest items will be delivered is September 2, 2012) If for some reason you haven’t received the item by then, please contact Newzpop Reporta Tyro Bong.

12. What happens if there’s any items left over from this guild event?
The items will be stored on the mule for when another guild activity requires them. See section about the guild mule for more details.

13. Is this guild event open for anyone to attend?
It is only available for Team Sprocket guild members.

14. I have concerns regarding this guild event that haven’t been addressed here. What do I do?
Contact Newzpop Reporta Tyro Bong, the guild’s captain, by private message. heart

15. How many item(s) does the mule have of each item listed on the guild event list?

**Please keep in mind that given this is the full list, not all the items listed on it are available during the give-away for this particular guild event. Only the items listed on the Guild Event item list (see third post) are being given away for this particular guild event. Guild event was accidentally given the name Summer Party 2012 and Team Sprocket's Summer Party 2012. This was a typo. sweatdrop It has since been renamed to Surprise August Guild Event August Guild Event 2012.

How the update effects the giveaway:
From this point on it will be possible to receive Sunblock from the guild event. (Please see Q&A post question #7 for more information regarding how the mule gives out items.)

This does not mean that people will be receiving a bonus item of sunblock. There are currently no bonus items for this guild event. You post once, you get one item from the guild event item list. What had been meant by the above segment is that the Sunblock had been added to the Guild Event Items list.

Other Updates to Guild Event

Originally the second update stated the following:

This update was meant to clarify that August Guild Event 2012 participants (up to that post) should have each received an item from the guild event item list for participating.This guild event will not be over until its scheduled day September 1, 2012. Items from the guild event item list will continue to be given out until the guild event closes on September 1, 2012.

Bonus Giveaway Update!

A change has been made to this guild event!

It's been decided that the August Guild Event 2012 is going to have a bonus giveaway! 4laugh

Why the change?:
Originally it has been clarified in the guild event thread's announcements and in the thread that there were to be no bonus items for this guild event. I've decided to have a change of heart regarding that decision. 3nodding

What this means for participants of the guild event?

1. If you participated in the August Guild Event 2012 you should have already received one item from the guild event item list during the time the event was open (August 26 - September 1, 2012). 3nodding

2. Team Sprocket Zen will now give each person that participated one additional *bonus* item *two* additional bonus items from the guild event item list to each participant of this guild event as a thank you. This should be (ideally) completed between today (September 1, 2012) and tomorrow (September 2, 2012) at the latest. Delivery method will be either gift or trade.

arrow Participation in this guild event is now closed. This additional giveaway only applies to people that participated in the August Guild Event 2012. Keep your eye on the guild announcements for more cool events in the future!

Bonus Item Q&A

1. What? I thought we usually just store extra items left over after a guild event on the mule?

Yes.The Q&A post in the guild event thread it stated that extra items would be kept on the guild mule until another guild activity required them. 3nodding However, this bonus item decision for this guild event is a recent change. The reason for this change is that the guild mule still had a lot of items left over from this guild event.

2. Is the guild mule still going to have enough items to give away in the future? Won't these extra items being given out effect it?

Yes. emotion_bigheart There still are plenty of items left over for future guild events! 3nodding Any of the remaining items on the guild mule (Team Sprocket Zen) from the guild event (after bonus item distribution) will be saved on it until a guild activity requires them. 3nodding

I like extra free stuff! Will we ever have bonus stuff again in future guild events?
If a guild event specifies you'll only get one item, please assume you'll only be receiving one item with no bonus items unless stated otherwise. If it is decided to give out bonus item(s) to participant(s), there will be an announcement in the guild and guild event thread(s) will be updated to reflect this change.
