Firefly is one of those guys brimming with style. He follows trends and is usually in the know with what looks good. He is sharp and confident and, whether its true or not, he is popular in his own mind. This often leads to an inflated head and a self-centered mentality. This overconfidence lands him in trouble, as he dislikes being corrected or outdone. His peers step in to save him from himself when his head becomes too inflated. Outside of his element, however, Firefly is more introverted. He can give someone weapon or fashion advice in a pinch but if he were to be asked to bake a quail he would be at a loss.

Firefly is very excitable and almost anything presented to him receives a dramatic reaction, be it bubbly and giddy or end in a fiery rage. With this excitability and the impatience that accompanies it, he also has a very short temper. When things don't go his way or something keeps him from achieving his goals, he flares up very quickly and it can be hard to settle him down. When he does reach his boiling point, its difficult to read what he'll do next. The fact that he carries some form of weapon on him at all times doesn't help the situation. It is his peers who step in to play peacemaker when things reach a fever pitch. At times like these, they're the only ones he'll listen to.

Firefly has a huge reservoir for remembering names, faces and anything he can see. He is good at recalling how to do things based on example and what sort of things look good together. He is not good at recalling smells or sounds, but because he has such a good visual memory, he can remember lots of events that have happened to him. If someone wore blue jeans to a fancy party, he'd remember it five years late. He can easily recall the faces of bullies from his childhood, even if he can't remember their names. He finds it very hard to let go of negative memories because he remembers how upset they made him feel so well. He only offers forgiveness in the rarest cases.

Firefly's overconfidence often leads him into trouble, but it also helps him overcome a lot of problems. He is not afraid to stick up for himself, even in scary situations, such as people ganging up on him. He would rather spit in the face of an enemy than run away or submit. Since he is not overly strong in the physical department and he only carries limited bullets, he does get in over his head sometimes when faced with a real fight. He doesn't know when to stand down or give up, even if its a lost cause.

Firefly told a lie once and his papa found out about it. He got such a fierce spanking from it that it knocked most traces of dishonesty out of him. He knows the importance of telling the truth, since it builds good reputation and a good name for both him, the man who raised him and their shared business. However, Firefly can be a little too honest at times, giving his opinion when he sees something he likes or dislikes. He comes straight to the point, since there's little reason to beat around the bush. His brutal honesty can hurt a lot of feelings.

Stamina and confidence alone cannot take down all of life obstacles, so Firefly is known to power through them. He likes being the best and shining the brightest with whatever he does, from gun smithing to shooting competitions and card games. When he loses, he does have the tendency to have a hissy fit or a mini tantrum. He is not a very graceful winner, either, usually taking the time to rub it in someone's face or show off how good he is. After losing and tiring himself out from his little fits, he goes into a slump where he doesn't want to do anything productive. Once he cheers himself up, either by partying or playing with his friends, he has a fire lit under him and even more eagerness to win in the future.

Target shooting: To let off steam and to practice what he preaches, Firefly goes to a secluded area with his derringer and other guns and shoots both stationary and moving targets. He doesn't hunt, however.
Socializing: Beyond just having friends, Firefly enjoys going to fancy parties in his finest attire, looking for potential agents and clients. Tea parties, banquets, balls, fashion shows, galas, festivals- anything fun with lots of people make him happy.
Weapon smithing: Firefly is always excited to make weapons for others and happily invites them to customize their own 'toys'. Besides guns, he also is able to construct grenades, mines, smoke bombs, flamethrowers, molotov cocktails and pipebombs.
xxxxxInterests:
Photography: While he's not as good with a camera as he is with a 14mm, Firefly does love to take pictures; usually of his gun collection, fun events or even city sights, he prints the best ones and hangs them in his house. He is often busy with work, so he doesn't go out as often.
Simple 'pets': He doesn't like gardening because its too dirty and there's too many bugs, but he does grow box gardens and small pots for his home. Like his fish tank, they don't take a lot of time or thought but they are pretty to look at. Hard to interact with, though.
Shopping: Expensive, so he doesn't do it as often as he likes, but he does enjoy buying all sorts of expensive new outfits and other fun items.
xxxxxFaction Opinion: Spades is wonderful for the sheer amount of weapon demand, the architecture, clients, etc.
xxxxxAspirations: He aspires to help his papa retire and make a chain of arms shops though Spades and maybe even to clubs. His biggest dream is to one day build and drive a tank.

Being Bullied: Memories from his past hit a strong nerve. If he were bullied as an adult, he'd have a gun aimed at the assailant and be ordering them to beg, most likely.
Being Alone: To have nothing can't hold a candle to having no-one. Firefly dislikes being alone, even at night. With no-one to appreciate him, what's the point of even waking up in the morning?

He refuses to deal under the table or to anyone outside of Spades, unless extreme bouts of bribery are involved.
