This is the name of a Movie. It happens to be one of my favorite films. I think it has a very important message. Well maybe not very important but at the least relevant.

The Harder They Come The Harder They Fall

If you've seen the movie you probably get it If not Go see it. biggrin

Spoiler If you want to see the movie dont read the white text

The more you bet the more you can lose essentially
The main dude in The Harder They Come want's to be a reggae star. But He dosen't make it so he decideds to start smuggiling Ganja. Jump foreward in the story and he's on the run killing cop's left and right trying to get My share of whats mine. The song he recorded earlier in the movie start's getting played all the time and now he's a big star on the run. He gamble's everything and loses.

So just like the Song he recorded say's

The Harder They Come The Harder They Fall

What's some of your guy's favorite movies?

My favorite movie also has a sexual sounding name. My favorite movie is Snatch

The whole movie revolves around unlicensed boxing, and the heist of a giant diamond. It's absolutely hilarious

Have you seen "Trainspotting"? I would have to say it's one of my favorite movies. Danny Boyle (director) ******** kicks a**.

It's basically about why heroin is not necessarily a great thing to take...and the baby on the ceiling part is creepy as hell.

Other favorite movies include Ichi the Killer, Audition, and Gozu, all by Takashi Miike, awesome super-V cinema.

I also like comedies like "Zoolander" and "Love Actually" for my squishy, funny/romantic side.

Lol.

I went to see "Hostle" awhile back...I laughed my head off. They call THAT violence? CLICHE CLICHE CLICHE! It was so ridiculous I felt like I was watching Monty Python, only they were trying to be serious.

Erm, I thought :3 was always people trying to make a neko-cat face or something? But then again I have a friend that has a cat fetish...anyway!

My favourite movie which is far from the glory of the stage production, is The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Followed by a dose of Dirty Dancing, modern-day version with Mr Depp of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and finally, Donnie Darko.

Don't make me choose one gonk

I have yet to see a film which holds up to the test of time for comedy or almost any other standard of truly fantastic filmmaking as well as Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The series uses jokes that, fourty years later, still hold up excellently in fashion that even such excellent classical comedians as the Marx Brothers, or more modern types like George Carlin (of whom I am a major fan) just cannot hold a candle to. This is in no way to berate more modern, more artsy, or more 'classic' drama films; I simply have yet to see a film that I have truly consistently enjoyed as much as Holy Grail - and that does include Life of Brian (but not the Meaning of Life, which I have not yet seen).

Kung Fu Hustle. That, and any movie with Jim Carrey or Robin Williams. I haven't seen MP and the Holy Grail, but I will sooner or later. Although, I doubt George Carlin can't hold a candle to it, he's just too damn good. Even so, it's hard to compare a stand-up comic and a movie.

I love George Carlin's alliterations and the fact that he makes a happy ending for all uncles named Bob. (I think it was Bob....)

:3 <- If those are balls, then I stand by my original guess that this = boobies -> <3

sure, people say it's a heart...but they know it's boobies

You're right. Look at it in simple mathematical formula - because the laws of the universe are governed by such.

Boobehs = Heart.
<3 = <3

Hence, they are one and the same. 3nodding

Those were hilarious. I will easily tip my hat towards Cleese and the crew, but i'm a huge martial arts film fan as of late. Hence, watching Kung Fu Hustle and all the cliches that were made fun of? To me, that wiped out MP and replaced it.

'Meaning of Life' was great... the first time around. Unlike the others, some of the jokes and skits just aren't funny after hearing them more than once. 'Life of Brian' and 'Holy Grail', on the other hand, are classics in comedy.

If I had to pick from the Monty Python set, though, i'd totally not choose any and go straight for Fawlty Towers. But we're on movies here. ^^

Hmm...Bean was one of the better movies, I think. Monty Python's stuff is pretty good, as well. Whisper of the Heart is another recent favorite. *if you haven't seen it, go see it. Sweetly romantic movie, that it is*
