Why, hello there darling. I think you should know by now that my name is Ariel Cecilia Evans. Cute name, but nowadays, I go by Ace. Pretty cool, huh? My friend, well, former friend thought of it. You see, 'Ace' is actually my initials! He's pretty clever, I guess. Hm, what else? I was born on February 16th, 1995, in Cerulean City. But when I was four, I moved, so I don't really remember it that much. I moved to Lavender Town. That's right, Lavender Town. Truth be told, after the renovation of the former Pokemon Tower into a radio tower, it's not at all "creepy". It was never supposed to be creepy. It's supposed to honor the lives of the dead. I remember sneaking into the Tower when I was around six because of a dare... Good times, huh? Too bad it's a radio tower now. Oh, human progress.
Well, I guess you don't want me to start a politically correct monologue about that, so, I guess I'll talk about my childhood. Lavender Town's a pretty great place. My dad still commutes from there to Saffron City, since he works at Silph Co. which means that my family's pretty well off... yep. Even better, Route 12 is right below the town! What's so special about Route 12? Well, I'll tell you. There is a whole river of wonders down Route 12. I went fishing almost every single day with my childhood friend (I'm an only child, sadly), and although I didn't catch something every try, I did enjoy it.
My old friend... I don't really think it's the time and place to talk about him, but yeah, for a long time, we were really good friends. Honestly, now that I look back on it, it's kind of hard to believe. We're polar opposites, like fire and ice. I'm a little passive, he's a bit aggressive. I like cats, he likes dogs. I love the rain and water, he loves the sun and hot places. It must be that whole 'opposites attract' thing, or rather, the fact that we were the only new kids in town at that time since the rest were already in their little religious cliques. If I recall correctly, he moved from Cinnabar Island after the volcano erupted. Anyways, as passive as I am, I'll beat you up if you ever suggest I'm in a relationship with him, out of all guys. Why we're not friends anymore? Simple. I joined Team Aqua and he joined Team Magma.
I'm a girl.
That's right, I'm a girl. I'm a normal human, not a hybrid or half-breed of any kind. I don't have any special or mystical powers, but I do have talents and aptitudes. Like... I'm good at swimming, fishing, and surfing, but that has to do with the fact that I grew up near a huge body of water. Um, I love cooking and baking. I also enjoy the arts... sketching, painting, you know. Oh, and recently, I've started to learn how to play the guitar! I'm not good, since I just started, but I'm getting better. Never have me sing. I will break the windows.
