Maddy frowned, thinking of a response to Michael's question. "I've used a Legendary Pokemon once. It was Rayquaza. I summoned him to stop the fighting between Kyogre and Groudon." She placed a hand over her eye patch. "When I summoned him, I almost lost my eye in the process. Even after witnessing the power of a Legendary Pokemon for myself, I have no desire to use them for my own goals. I guess, some people are just drawn to great power and ultimately want to set themselves higher than everyone else." She stifled a yawn. "Anyways, I'm going to head to bed. Preferably with some help." She said, looking to Allen, who still had a hold on her. "I have to start researching a new place for us to stay so we can leave this place as soon as possible." With that, she entered the castle to head to her room.

Allen helps Maddy to her room, he chuckles, knowing that wine hit her hard. "Try not to be too hung over tomorrow." And with that he left to his room to find his bag wide open and his shiny Frogadier munching on his rare candies. "Do-! Dolstro!" He cried out as the Pokemon lit up. The bright light slowly changed form to reveal a rather large black frog with a red tongue around his neck a couple times. Allen sighed, "Well... at least you look cool." He returned his Pokemon to the ball and cleaned up the mess from his bag. "Five wrappers... I'm surprised he's not glowing from some sort of radioactive energy."
And with that he got ready to sleep.

Maddy woke up, feeling perfectly fine despite the drinking last night, and went to leave her room. She unlocked the door to her room and heard a loud crack. How long had the lock been broken to her door?! She went and fetched the necessary things to fix it and set to work.

"That should do it." Ace muttered as she finished up tightening the replaced lock to the door. After testing it to make sure it works, she frowned a bit from yesterday news. After weeks of living in this castle, it was a shame to locate a different spot. Perhaps, it was for the best.

Maddy finished the lock on her door and quickly moved on to finish the ones no one had touched just yet. There wasn't very many left, though. "Should be finished this one in no time!"

Surveying in the halls, Ace was sure that all the doors with locks were replaced. Now to put the tools away.
CRACK.
Except for that one. She sigh and went to remove the broken lock before putting in the new one and adjust it as firm as possible. Now every door is all set.

The locks crossed off the list, Maddy wandered outside. She sat on the edge of their new bridge, looking down at the water. There were a few Duckletts asleep, floating in the still water with their heads tucked under their wings. Maddy let out a sigh and turned her gaze towards the sky. The stars could almost be seen, but they were still too close to Lumiose and all the light pollution to see them well.

"You're sure?"
Stella flapped her wings enthusiastically. Today was the day. After gobbling a few rare candies-four to be exact-she was nibbling on her fifth one. Although the little bat was eager for this, she couldn't help be a bit anxious. After all, it was a new experience. Sure, she'd seen a couple of evolved forms of other zubats, and perhaps heard of this so-called 'evolution' by her trainer. She even thought about evolving one day. But she never thought it would be today.
To be honest, she was afraid of the evolution. She wasn't sure whether it'll hurt to perhaps, she'll be in a new body. Maybe she might regret this decision later on. Maybe it was best to wait and work hard to achieve such a feat like a certain blue turtle she'd known.
Still, this was her chance. Once she made her decision, she has to stand by it. As soon as she finished the last piece, her whole body started to glow brighter by the second. It was a strange experience; Stella was never fond of the lights. But in this case, she felt warm. No longer did she had any doubts of this evolution. In fact, her mind was filled with excitement. Her wings grew in size and her once blurry sight, was now clear as a crystal.
Oh, how she loved life.
The Zubat-no Golbat now soared gallantly to the sky, testing out it's new body. Noticing her trainer watching with curiosity, she immediately swooped down towards Ace only to abruptly stop when her trainer fell down. A look of annoyance and awe were plastered on her trainer's face before. Stella watched the brunette rolling her eyes and motioned her to come. She tilted her head before following her, perching on her shoulder for a quick rest. Her trainer's once annoyed expression softened, and was mixed with a bit of concern.
"Do you regret this?"
The golbat mulled over her words, and answered with a joyous screech. Her trainer winced at the high-pitch sound, but nodded in understanding. Her trainer's signature smirk etched across her lips before yelling to the world to watch out for her pokemon team. And perhaps to join in this ridiculous yelling, she also screeched as high and loud as she can to the sky: to prepare for her to come and take the glory.
It was the best decision she ever made.

"Mind if I join you captain?" Maddy jumped a little. She hadn't really been paying attention. She looked at Michael and smiled. "I don't mind." She went back to looking up at the sky. She stifled a yawn.

"Captain what made you join Team Aqua inthe first place? If you don't mind me asking" Maddy frowned a little. "I was recruited by Archie himself. Most likely because I had lived my whole life as a thief and skills like that can be particularly useful. He offered good pay so I came running." A smile then graced her lips. "It's strange. I originally joined for the money, but I ended up finding my sense of morality somewhere down the line."

Michael noticed the frown and smile. While she talked he continued his gaze at the stars. When she finished he let out a small smile. "I am happy you found your morals Captain. If you had not Team Aqua would probably still be run by Archie and he might of tried to continue his goal of flooding the Earth. One last question and sorry for so many and so very personal but do you ever miss your family?"

She let out a small sigh and pushed herself to my feet. "Team Aqua is my family now. I have no problems with that, though. I was on my own for years before I joined."

Michael saw the look of depression hit Maddy's face and he jumped up. Due to his sudden jump he completely lost his balance and fell into the moat. When he resurfaced he said, "I am so sorry. I did not mean to upset you.
