The young trainer cautiously took several steps. To ignore every detail could land him being attacked by a random Pokemon and getting caught off guard. His team followed behind, ready to defend their trainer. A shuffle occurred in a nearby patch of grass. Curious, Chael walked over. He was here to catch a Pokemon an here he would make the catch. ((Meh, decided not to catch it. Rolling for another Pokemon.)) Post 62 A Chatot. A female by the looks of it as she chirped happily. She flew past his head onto a nearby tree. Wow, he had never seen one before. And certainly not in Johto, they were already rare in Sinnoh where they were native. She flew down to Argos, inciting a spar between the reptile and avian. She used peck, and pushed him back. Argos waited for a command. "Water Gun." Chael said as the Totodile blasted water from his mouth. She coughed but went on and pecked the alligator who bit her, flinging her away. She chirped again, ready to battle. Chael admired her determination but had Argos stop fighting. They needed to find another Pokemon. He could use a bird like her but she was too small to actually carry him, city to city. Post 63 Another Chatot passed Chael, chirping away. It was a male this time and he left him alone. Better not to scare off the intended Pokemon he wanted to capture. It had several elemental attacks for being a normal type, his third one soon enough. Tsuki would evolve into a psychic type so it didn't matter much. Fear, more or less, would be a backup Pokemon. She wasnt a fighter for the most part. Too docile. Again the same ruffling in a nearby bush occurred. Chael smiled as he walked towards it. The Pokemon he was in pursuit of was a common one so chances were, this would be it. (rolling for Pokemon.) Post 64 Another freaking Chatot! Geez, these birds must've really taken a liking to him. Chael walked away, Pokemon in tow. They needed to catch a measly one Pokemon. It had to be around here somewhere. In actuality the Pokemon in mind would help with at least this and the next gym. Electric moves for this gym an fire moves for the next one. The Aero and Bullet badges would be as good as his with one of these Pokemon by his side. A Johto native too and one that was often found scurrying about in Goldenrod City. Post 66 Then the Snubbull approached him. A pink dog, her eyes looking cautious. Yep, he definitely knew the three elemental bite attacks. So Argos was out of the question. "Bruce, use Pound." he said, initiating the match. The Timburr whacked the Snubbull but the attack was weaker. She had Intimidate! Fangs turning icy cold she but him as an Ice Fang. Bruce shivered as he began to Focus his Energy and slammed the plank onto the dog, who fell over. She got up but was soon pegged by a Pokeball. Post 67 Another Snubbull passed him. She was weaker than the previous but the moves were similar. All the elemental bite attacks and that's all he needed. Fear went to the occasion and used Bite, biting her side. The Snubbull growled and used Fire Fang, throwing her into a bush with a bite and toss! Fear hissed and rammed into her, Quick Attack in full power. Then Chael threw the ball, catching her. He walked over and saw her level with the Pokedex. She was his weakest member but her moves were invaluable. He sent her out and said "I'll name you Sara. Let's go back everybody!" With that he headed back towards route 2. OOC: Thank you! I didn't know because you didn't say anything at the top about who can. Now came the hard part because Kiera really wanted to find a shiny Yanma. Blue was a great color for a dragonfly and it would look good as Yanmega too. "This is going to take everyone to help. You too Whismur and I'll think of a nickname for you later. Right now I want to find a special blue Yanma to join us and they're very rare." All her pokemon nodded but they weren't too sure they would find a shiny Yanma. They would have to be very lucky but she did catch Eevee and was super lucky with Abra too. She just hoped that Nolan her lucky charm would come soon. "I'll cross my fingers. Lets look over there first in that big field where they could be hiding. Ready everyone?" Kiera started walking in the long grass and soon she found a... Emolga that flew out. Kiera said the first thing that popped into her head again, "OMG it's so cute!" But she wanted Yanma for her flying pokemon even if electric pokemon were very powerful. "You're rare but not as rare as a shiny pokemon. Will you fight my pokemon to train them Emolga?" Emolga looked happy and landed on the grass to fight. "Jupiter lets see what you can do! Go and use your tail whip!" Emolga used tail whip too. "Too funny but do you have a tackle attack too? Go Jupiter!" She ran forward and jumped at Emolga and hit it. But Emolga had ThunderShock and zapped the Eevee. Jupiter's fur was standing up all crazy and she teetered a little bit. "Shake it off, Jupiter! Keep tackling until you knock it out!" Well it was good practice, but when the fight was over Kiera gave the Emolga a marshmallow and waved goodbye. "Lets take a short break and then we'll keep looking later okay?"
