I'd like to ask for prayers for someone. Her name is Frida and most likely she is demon possesed and according to her they also talk to her if I remember correctly. Prayers on this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have any scriptures that prove that? I'm just saying because I don't tend to believe everything everyone says on things like this unless scripture confirms it >.< and thank you very much for praying!

I will definitely be praying with your friend. Demon possession is definitely something that is uncool.

However, people that are demon possessed will do more than have voices talking to them, they can sometimes have a strange feeling about them. Some will do things that aren't humanly possible. There are some people that aren't demon possessed and yet have the gift to know when someone is and can see things on a spiritual plain when others can't so it's possible she hasn't been possessed, but have something that's trying to get to her and this is where God is truly important.

Demons are complicated because there are so much to each one. They each have their personality just as a human does and they each have their own rules and certain scriptures that may work on one demon may not work on another.

You could pray for God to heal her and for God to bind the demon somewhere it belongs.

I must warn you, though, to never try to cast it out yourself unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Some scriptures are more powerful on demons than others, but the same scriptures may not work on each one and once you cast a demon out, you need to send it somewhere where it can't escape and go to anyone else or into another area. Letting a demon out if you don't know what you're doing can lead to serious consequences if you don't know what you're doing and don't have the gift to heal others in that manner.

I believe some people may possibly have a demon inside them for a reason. Perhaps it is God's will for them to be tormented for something they did or for a certain reason. Some people have also played with the spiritual realm through a Ouija board or another spiritual ritual. Some people that have given blood in a Satanic ritual can have a demon following them everywhere or sitting on their shoulder that most people aren't able to see. So they aren't exactly demon possessed because the demon is following them on the outside and not the inside. However, all things are possible to Christ so if they come to God about their problem and everything and truly want to be a servant of God and not be tormented anymore if that's what it is then God is the one that can change that.

However, even though I do not know their situation exactly, I will still pray for your friend smile best of luck and please, don't take any spiritual intervention even if you want to help your friend because it is dangerous. The power of prayer is the best bet since the spiritual realm is far more complex and beyond most of our understanding.

I second this, the spiritual realm isnt just demons and angels, it is complex. When you dont know entirely what it is you are doing, prayer is your most powerful weapon. I will recommend a book to you. It is called This Present Darkness. Its a great book. its fictional, but does a great job of portraying the spiritual realm. The Author is Frank Perretti. I'd suggest reading it to get a better view on things ^_^

No I don't plan to cast it out of her, I don't even know if she is possesed >.< that's why I said most likely, I can't say she is but I would appreciate any prayers for her and Thank you ^^

It sounds to me like she could be suffering from a mental illness. Potentially a very serious one.

How old is she? (I only ask because many kinds of mental illness will not manifest itself in many people until adolescence and/or youg adulthood.) Besides alledgedly hearing voices, what else about her behaviour makes you think she is a victim of demonic possession?

I think that she should see a mental health professional (ideally a Christian one who won't automatically dismiss the possibility of demonic activity, but can also diagnose mental illness when s/he sees it).

It's just important that if this is in fact the result of mental illness, that she gets the treatment she needs for it sooner rather than later. History (some of it very recent) is full of sad stories of the mentally ill being treated like demons and abominations when they probably could have lived fairly normal lives if they'd received the treatment they needed.

Long story short, when demonic posession is suspected, RULE OUT MENTAL ILLNESS FIRST.

Regardless, though, I will pray that she finds the source of her problems and finds a way to get through them. smile
