• If you have quote notifications off, it is up to you to come check whether your custom form has been accepted. Otherwise, your slot may be rerolled.
• Be sure to only post in the individual colorist's customs/breedings thread when they are open.
Read all rules and double check to make sure the coloration and pricing on your form is correct, otherwise, it might not be accepted. If you are unsure, ask in the main thread.
You may only post one form for each category in a colorist's thread. Example: You cannot spam one colorist's thread with 10 forms for different customs, but you can post one form in each colorist's thread.
Bribes do not count as your one form, and you may offer a bribe as well as fill out a normal custom form. However, you may only win one. If you are chosen for a bribe, you will not be put into the rolling for the regular custom slots.
• You may post the same custom in more than one colorist's thread if you are fine with any colorist doing your custom. If that custom has already been chosen, we will just skip you the second time. If you post different customs in all the colorist's threads, be sure you can pay for them, provided you win.
If ordering a custom with future evolutions that have different colors, you might want to make a note to the colorist if you want specific colors on it. If you forget, or do not, it is CC!
• All RP threads that were here have been moved to the archives. If you still wish to breed the same pets, PM Pandashroom Pogeys to bring the thread back to an RP subforum.

  • Users may only ask for Pokémon that have been templated. To check which have been templated and what rarity they fall under, check the Pokédex.
  • No cosplays. Extrasensory is giving Pokémon a more realistic spinoff and we really don't want to see Pokémon in pants with funky hairdos.
Exception: You can do a cosplay if it really fits the Pokémon such as a Meowth based on a cat character/your real life cat. However, please note that the shop doesn't officially recognize cosplays, so it's possible that multiple people may have the same cosplay.
  • Staff reserves the right to reject a custom if it doesn't follow coloration rules. (If you are unsure, feel free to ask in-thread for an opinion!)
  • Pokémon can be purchased at any stage for the same amount.
  • You may only post one form for each slot type, so one Common/Uncommon, one Rare*, and one Bribe.
When a colorist is accepting Legendary slots, this category will change to "Rare/Legendary"
  • Lineart edits and color variation dominant Pokémon are not available in normal slots, but they're available as bribes. Lineart edits can only be minor. As a general rule, colorists cannot color untemplated Pokémon.
  • The same custom may be entered in both normal slots and bribe slots.

Pricing
Prices are based on rarity and coloration (click the "Pokédex" and "coloration rules" links above for more information). If you have questions about either, ask in the main thread, and our staff and regulars will help you.

.... Base price, based on rarity:
  • Common: 40k
  • Uncommon: 60k
  • Rare: 100k
  • Legendary: 1 mil

    Price additions, based on coloration:
  • Normal gene: Free
  • Shiny recessive gene: Add 20k
  • Color variant recessive gene: Add 50k
  • Shiny dominant gene: Add 500k
  • Color variation dominant gene: Bribe

  • Bribes are anything above standard price.

General
  1. Only one owner should post the form; the other should quote to agree.
  2. Breedings cost 40k per pair. All trades go to the mule.
  3. You may enter up to four pokemon per breeding opening. You may enter the same pokemon more than once; however, you can still only enter four times total. For example, you have pokemon A and pokemon B - if you enter pokemon A once and Pokemon B three times, you can no longer enter more. If you enter a pair where you own both parents, it's considered entering two pokemon (out of your limit of four).
  4. While a pokemon can be entered multiple times, they can only be rolled once. This means if a pokemon wins, all other pairings it's involved in will be removed from the list.
  5. Owners may keep one offspring per breeding; however, if an owner owns both parents, they may keep up to two offspring from that breeding.
  6. Extra babies may be gifted or rehomed in a guild event; if the latter, PM mule with which pokemon you want to rehome and how you want it rehomed. You will be responsible for setting up and holding the rehoming event, as well as determining the winner.

Compatibility
  1. Any two pokemon of the opposite sex can breed, so long as they are in the same egg group.
  2. At least one of the parents must have their base stage templated in the new style (check if a stage is templated in our Pokedex).
  3. Legendary pokemon may breed with those of the same species and opposite sex, or with dittos. They can only enter breeding slots when it's specifically stated they're allowed.
  4. Baby pokemon cannot breed or enter slots at all.
  5. Ditto can breed with any pokemon except ditto.

Offspring
  1. Each Pokemon pair automatically have 2 offspring.
  2. Offspring have an equal chance of being either the mother's or the father's species; however:
    • If one of the parent species is a species that is not listed as templated in the Pokédex (its name should link to a colored and shaded image of the Pokémon if it's templated), the offspring will automatically be the species of the parent that has templates.
    • If one of the parents is a ditto, all offspring will be the other parent's species.
    • If one parent has an Everstone equipped, they will have a higher chance to pass on their species/markings. If both parents have Everstones, this effect is negated.
  3. Offspring will start off at the base stage; that is, the earliest stage possible (eg. if a Pikachu breeds, its offspring will be a Pichu). Breedings, outside of customs and bribes, is one of the ways baby pokemon can be obtained.
  4. Sometimes a child of parents of different species will be a little peculiar in its appearance and become a slight hybrid. However, this is VERY rare.

Roleplay
  1. Couples that submit 2 RPs are eligible for additional benefits (2 battles = 1 RP). These RPs must show the couple's interest in one another, and they must have been completed before breeding slots open.
  2. RP'd couples have a chance of receiving a third egg.
  3. RP'd couples receive an extra ticket for breeding raffles.

Accredited Breeders
  1. Accredited breeders receive an extra ticket for breeding raffles.

  • Colorists may open one bribe slot with every custom opening.
  • Almost anything is allowed, including normal Pokemon, shinies, and color variations. Whether untemplated pokemon and lineart edits can be entered in bribes or not depends on the colorist(s) involved.
However, we will still not allow ridiculous amounts of edits. Keep in mind that Extrasensory is not an edit-heavy shop.
  • If you are chosen for a bribe slot, you will NOT be put into the rolling for the regular slots.
  • You may enter more than one bribe form, but you can only win one maximum.

How to Make a Reference for Customs

OHMIGAH! There's a watermark on the lines, WAT DO?
Please note that I have PS CS5.1 and your may look different... if so, I don't know what you can do, sorry. ;x

1. Open up your favorite paint program.
2. Open the lines file.
3. Copy and paste it to a new layer. Delete the old layer.
4. Change the new layer's setting to multiply!

5. Make a new layer underneath it and color there.
6. AW MAN, I JUST WANT TO BUCKET TOOL. Select your lineart layer, then select your bucket tool and check the all layers box at the top. Make a new layer underneath and color there. Yes, you can even use your bucket tool. You can fill in any ugly white spots with a brush.

Coloration Guide

Ignore some of the earliest coloring that was done. Some rules were tweaked as we progressed.

1. We will be using sprite colors from Pokemon Black & White at Serebii.net for our pokemon's colors.

2. Choose the middle shade as the normal, as shown below. Not the shine on the head, and not the darker yellow shading. Some sprites will only have two shades, and if this is the case, choose the lighter color unless you suspect it to be the highlight/shine color.
User Image

3. Choosing a "normal" shade of yellow. The active color is the default yellow (click for larger image). The semi-circle shows the range of yellow that I would allow as normal. If the color was darker, the semicircle would extend to a full circle, of course. On the right side is the range of hues that I would allow to be normal. Be careful-- this also varies with color, for example, I would be much more lenient towards colors like blue and not as much towards yellow (don't want it to look orange). I'm VERY strict on white. White cannot be used on pokemon if the normal color is not white, even if it falls within coloring range. It will have to be a slight tint of whatever color it normally is. Likewise, white pokemon cannot be any color that falls within it's range. It will be white, with only a slight hint of blue, grey, or cream. Nothing crazy.

Further note-- this may become more strict for pokemon (like meowth) that have similar normal and shiny colorations. Always double check the shiny colors to make sure that the colors you choose don't look anything like the ones on the shiny!

For color variation, keep in mind which color(s) you are using as your color variation. You will have to use this exact shade on evolutions.

4. Things that can be any color: Eyes and cubone's bone helm paint (must make it look like paint).

5. Things that cannot be used as a part of normal colors on the body: Mouth, tongue, teeth, nose, claws, feet pads... maybe more, depending on the pokemon.

List of Templated Pokemon available at the Pokedex.

You may only choose from these if you want a normal custom (not a bribe).
