So what's this? "Lucky 13"?
OK, let's listen to this explanation. If you'd like to, that is.
So, once upon a time, Midnight Yume decided to share her quest with other people. That'd be much funnier, instead of just questing yourself. So I, Midnight Yume, asked in Talaye Meadows who was interested in questing with her. And there stuff began. I began to quest with Uennie, Dovaxy and +Little.Black.Cat+.
Then the thread began to die, and Yume thought again, that it'd be much funnier with even more people. And then you can guess what happened. Well, she decided to create a total explosion. She asked the others if they thought it was a good idea to start a quest where there'd be 13 people (including themselves). Since there'd have to be some space for the Introduction, Black&Whitelist and the Link to Us and Affliates and stuff. So there'd be 13 other posts, 13 other questors.
So prepare yourself for the ultimate chaos. Let yourself be absorbed into the world of eternal quests and questors. A never-ending hope and dream.

Rules & FAQ
1. Trades shall be sent to the questors' own accounts. If you, for example, wish to donate to Uennie, you have to send the trade to her account. If you send the trade to this account, your donation will be shared between the questors. So unless you wish to donate to all of the questors, do NOT send trades to this account.
2. Do NOT take money from this account. Later we'll decide a special questor who shall send everyone's part of donations to this account. If you take your part of the donation without the others knowing or their permission, that'll be theft and you'll be banned from this quest.
3. Do not go into this account after you've ended your quest. You're permitted to stay even after your quest, in case you've a new one, but if you've already left, don't go into this account and take your money from it. Questors who're already done with their current quests but are still deciding on their next ones will not receive part of donations because they're not questing at the moment. But if they're in the middle of a quest and is on hiatus, they will receive donations. Also, once a questor has officially left (which means that he or she is not on a break or thinking of a new quest, but doesn't want to quest anymore), the mule's password is changed. Please don't feel offended. Once you feel for joining again when a post is vacant, just tell us and you'll receive the password again.
4.To join the quest, PM this account. You must have at least 1000 posts and been member on Gaia for at least 2 months, or have been invited by one of the current questors. If invited, the one who invited you just need to tell the others and you'll be sent the mule's password.
5. Follow the ToS.
6. Common rules; no spamming, no begging, no flaming, etc.
7. Do NOT invite someone without us knowing. Before sending him/her the password, kindly wait for our response.

I've made some new rules we haven't spoken of, I think, but if you don't like them, tell me and I'll remove them.

Well, as wise ol' Forrest Gump says, "Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." Well guess what? Instead of having to bite through all the little bonbons, throwing away the cherry ones, I have the assortment list.

If you're not catching on to my relation to my quest through metaphores well, you're not the only one. The simple fact is. I never know what breedable I'm going to get next, but hopefully, this time, I can get the one I really want. Or ones. Depends. Ah well. Whaaateves.


So, I bet you're asking yourself, what is this fool questing for? Well it's this. I'm questing for a Custom God SoA (Shadows of Africa) and a matching custom female. Sounds a bit far-out eh? Well a Custom God is 1,000,000 Gold. The Custom Female, is about ... 600,000 Gold, give or take. Total? A whopping 1,400,000 Gold. Jeebus.

Nice eh? I decided to get rid of the little quests in the back of my mind before starting all over again.

Ever since I got back from Africa, and far before then, I've always wanted a SoA. Something about being deep in the Maasai Mara really did it for me though. Sleeping in a tent knowing there was a vast possibility of that huge Pride I'd seen earlier, could be walking around right outside my pillow. I felt safer than I'd ever had. Thus, I want a Maasai based SoA. The Maasai are an ancient and still alive race of African, they live a bit from the Serengeti, and they are wonderful people. Africa is a beautiful and fascinating place, and has always been so for me. From before I first saw the Lion King, since before I heard Angelique Kidjo Logozo, and before I was flown up to see the Lion King on Broadway for my birthday. So, on to the profile of my dream SoA's!

Name: En-Kai
Means: En-Kai is the God of the Maasai in legend. He is the great one who provided them with their way of life, cattle. In this way the Maasai feel that all cattle in the world are rightfully theirs as in their legends it was meant for only them.
Gender: Male
Character's personality:As much as he is a God, he doesn't really understand the meaning of it. He doesn't understand the place he has in life at all. He's playful, nonchalant and loves acting as though he is the smoothest thing in the world. Gradually he comes to know and understand what he can do, and what he can't. He is usually very jolly but can be extremely melancholy when something upsets him. He won't talk about it but he sulks and takes it out on anyone who tries to come near him. Sometimes all he needs is an authorative figure, sometimes it's the last thing he needs. He is easily confused and sometimes his ego knows no bounds.
Brief history of the character:When he was created he had no real idea who he was, or what he was, or what was going on. He remembers being thrown down onto something cold and hard, before waking up to shouts. Tall brown things were leaning over him and chattering, singing, and braiding beads into his tail. Alarmed and scared he jumped up. They kept saying something, 'En-Kai! En-Kai!' until he became fearful and dashed away into the underbrush. It was until he overheard them talking about their legends one day that he realized En-Kai was his name, and that he was a reincarnation of their God.
He had a particular taste for Cattle, but he didn't know why. The other lions he had observed liked Zebra, or other large antelopes such as the Wildebeest. Cattle was easy prey, but at the risk of being killed by a watchman, they left them alone. He loved cow's blood, and he'd sometimes as a cub get into the Maasai storage rooms and steal a gourd of it. He grew up, and governed himself into a strong and reliable Lion. Gaining the ability to fly at an early age, he slowly would flap or run his way across the Mara searching for a place to belong.
Lineart Edits: Elongated earlobes, reference;here. Instead of a pair of wings, I'd like two pairs, similar to a Seraphim's. Beaded necklace reference;here. Earring and Headdress reference;here. A patterned red cloth fastened loosely around his neck.
Colouring: Cream for the base, like the White Lion (I saw those in South Africa as well, gorgeous creatures, and no they're not albino or a mutation, just very rare). Bright Amethyst eyes. Red symbols and markings on his muzzle, around his eyes and forehead, all over his back legs and his rump, arching up from his belly, edges of it on the back of his forelegs, all the way down his tail where it ends at the fur tuft. His mane and tuft could be a lighter shade of the cream-white for the base of the body, highlighted with gold and given an overall shade of reds.

Name: Abla
Means: Abla is Maasai for 'African Rose'. I was going to name her something different but I felt this stayed alittle more true for the theme I was going for. I do recognize that these names are not Swahili, but Maasai to me is far more authentic and natural African. Considering, the Maasai actually lived in the area where Pride Rock is (YES, Pride Rock is REAL, it's on the land over from Lewa Downs).
Gender: Female
Character's personality: Usually quiet around lions she doesn't know, when you do get to know her she has an explosive personality. She is very high on morals and believes soundly that no matter what you should do your best to uphold it. She studies everything, to learn more about life. From insects to giraffe. She prefers Gravy's but after observing there were not many left in the Mara, she has switched to the more typical Lion diet, Common Zebra. As patient as understanding as she tries she can get annoyed and when upset her fuse is extremely short. She has no patience for those without common sense. Her favourite thing to say is 'It's funny how common sense is SO uncommon'. She can be a bit snarky, and act very proud, but she is very sweet to those she is intimately caring about.
Brief history of the character: After her family had disappeared during the migration, she was basically all alone. Hunting male lions was an initiation into manhood for the Maasai people, so she was afraid that they might have come and tried to kill her father. As a result her family had rushed away across the river towards the Tsetse flies, and forgetting her by accident.
Her mother was not allowed to go back for her, as more settlers looking to set up camps arrived. At night sometimes she'd be able to hear her mother's cries from far across the river through the mangling voices of the Hippo's. For a month her mother was suddenly silent, and understanding as well as heartbroken, Abla left Rekero and slowly made her way across the Mara searching for a new home.
Lineart Edits: N/A
Colouring: Smooth creamy cocoa/mocha colour, fairly light. Mane/Tuft of her tail are deep red, burgundy probably. Brilliant emerald eyes with gold flecks. Red markings of varied designs across her neck, down her forehead, on her rump, tail, and down the back of her backlegs. Passing shades of brilliant gold all over her body.
