Thought that homo, pan, bi, ect. was a gateway to beastiality?
I'm asking this because this is what I got from my dad, who, when I was discussing this with him, said that gays shouldn't marry (even though he doesn't know any) because they'll spread "gay-ness" and be bad parents.
This was a while ago, but it still makes me wonder where he gets the idea that it'll spread "gay-ness" and that homosexuality and any other sexuality (except hetero) is a gateway to beastiality. :/
Please do not start saying things crappy about my dad while explaining. (Ex: "He's an idiot" ect.)

i believe he as gotten these ideas from others who believe that people who are like us (us as im us gay,lesbian,and bi's) are horrible people and should not be aloud to do any of the things we doo.. yaa..

Some people class non-hetero as "evil" and all kinds of sexual "evils" as one and the same. Up until 1974 homosexuality was considered a mental illness. Maybe your dad is just a product of his times.

Gateway to bestiality, eh? A lot of people believe homosexuality is unnatural. Those people are possibly also the ones who believe that all homosexuals engage in anonymous sexual relations, cheating, and orgies. Unfortunately, it's the stigma homosexuals must carry in some circles.
Well, that's what I've heard, anyway.

That's quite baffling. The leap from human to animal is quite large so I have no idea where he got this thought from.
Perhaps he's just looking at the worst outcomes concerning homosexuality because he simply just doesn't like it and categorizes all the sexual acts he doesn't approve of together.

There is no gateway to bestiality, and there is no spreading "gay-ness".
The only choice I see here is homophobia, but my parents are like that too. I'm not bashing your dad or my parents, homophobia is a result of misinformation.

O.o its ok, I haven't spoken to my dad in six years but If he knew I was gay he'd probably come up with the same diluted response.
That's quite... odd though. Next people will think that homosexuality leads to objectophilia. O.o From same sex attraction to PDA'S and Laptops! haha Just prove him wrong and don't hit on the family dog. (assuming you have one).
