Gaga shooting Marry the night
Nicola Formichetti confirmed to fans waiting outside of the Mugler show in Paris that “Marry the Night” would be the fifth offering released from Born This Way. The fan favorite was originally intended to be the first track released from the album, but was pushed back for the less obvious hit, “Born This Way”.
Now, four singles later (out of a proposed 9 single album cycle), Gaga fans can finally rejoice! A video for the track is already in the works, as confirmed by Gaga this past weekend, and is set to be filmed very soon.
Lady Gaga is currently back in New York City preparing to shoot the video for “Marry the Night” this Monday, October 10th. The video is set to be filmed in Staten Island and is directed by Darius Khondji, Gideon Ponte and Gaga herself! Darius and Gideon have an impressive resume between them, including credits on projects such as the Golden Globe Award winning film, Evita, American Psycho, Madonna’s music video for “Frozen” and Gaga’s video for “Alejandro”.
