So apparently it's National Book Week. So pick up that dusty thing with paper and ink inside of it and get to reading.
Also, seeing as many of us have been in Skype yelling at each other in LoL enjoying jovial chats with one another recently, I thought we could do a reading-related thing together.
The idea I had was to have everyone hop into Skype, bring a book of their own and read a chapter to everyone. Alternatively: find a book online have have everyone take turns at reading.
SO
If this sound like a thing you would like to participate in, say so here.
UPDATE:
Ok, so it seems like we have a good number of people interested.
So PM with the book you want to read and what time this week would be good for you to do this.

How does Friday at 6 PM Pacific sound to everyone for this shin-dig?

I have volume 16 of The Practical Handyman's Encyclopedia in front of me... It's riveting.
