Why spend your time in a commoner's 'Tunnel of Love' when you can experience our one of a kind 'Tunnel of Forgotten Memories'? Reminisce about the past: former lovers, vengeful exes, maybe even recall a night of passion. Who knows? You may even come across a forgotten secret that could change your life forever!

"Come one, come all! Come see the amazement and wonder inside the Tunnel of Forgotten Memories! You won't be disappointed!"
Roma stood outside the attraction, calling out to random passer-by.

Kalrael wandered along, hardly able to contemplate avoiding notion of any potential revelation, though he could hardly conceive the thought of him ever having had a lover outside of...
He shuddered slightly, hesitantly approaching Roma and standing slightly off to the side.
"Tell me... what exactly has this been known to recall, and... if I even dare, how?"

Walking up beside the man, Dimitri grinned.
"Oh, this is a very unique experience, good sir. Each and every guest has a one of a kind time tailored directly for them. It has been known to bring up memories of all different types. However there is no set order in which they will come. How it is done? Well..."
The demon looked around before leaning forward in a whisper.
"...that is a secret."
The surrounding area echoed with his boisterous laugh.

Kalrael scowled, turning to face the man warily.
"To what risk, then? There are several things I would rather have forgotten that I remember well enough as it is."
Still he turned to the entryway, his past and present colliding in a mass of confusion.
"And several potential threats of such memories I would rather avoid..."

Dimitri shrugged, crossing to stand beside Roma.
"That is your choice, my friend. You can either choose to take that chance, or play on the safe side."
He gave a small grin before adding a last remark.
"However we both know that history is not created by safety. Caution did not create nations nor vast kingdoms like this."

"Nor Necross, for that matter..."
Kalrael stood back for a long moment, contemplating between his self-curiosity and his all-too-necessary cautions. After nearly a minute of sheer thought, he nodded slowly.
"Then how does one go about this? I am well aware of its essentially being a tunnel for the material mind, but I'm also no stranger to more... surreal, notions. Is there something I should be made aware of before I take the step?"

Dimitri pulled back the curtain in front of the entrance to reveal a small boat resting at a dock.
"The concept is quite similar to the commoner's Tunnel of Love. Small boat ride into the gathering darkness of the unknown. However there are strange magics at work in the air and water of this particular attraction. Before long the mind will project imagery right before your eyes. The arcane influences will reach deep into your subconscious, pulling from random the thoughts buried deep down. All you need to do is relax, and empty your mind of the present."

Roma stepped back to let her superior do the talking. Occasionally she nodded, agreeing with what was being said. Despite running this ride, she had never attempted going through it. Now as Dimitri opened the curtain, she peered inside as well.

Kalrael furrowed his brow, looking quite disappointed by the explanation given to him.
"For so secretive a mechanism, you seem to have revealed quite a lot, good sir..."
He stepped forward, resting a foot against the edge of the boat as though testing it for weight.
"Perhaps by design?"
With a simple chuckle, he picked himself up over the rim and rested his back arced against the rear of the boat, before considering the potential and better centering himself.

Walking over to the edge of the small boat, Roma untied it from the dock.
"Please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times."
Standing back up, she watched as the boat drifted lazily into the tunnel.

Kalrael shuddered, the familiar advice nearly striking him as the single most suspicious outcome, though even before it had taken a turn, a white light shot in front of his vision. An Angel, one stunningly familiar to the reminiscence of the renegade uprising appeared opposite him, her face a mask of fear. Even this nearly brought him to despair, his mind streaming with memories of what had happened, though for a long moment he did not directly recall what he now saw before him. Her death... at his own hands. By now he had vanished from immediate sight, but from the side he could easily depict his home, though not quite the same as it was when he last remembered, and he quickly discovered why. The Matriarchs had been crueller in their devices than he had ever cared to remember - and thus recall. Faintly through the tunnel the voice could be heard, "You are either ours by choice or ours by force. Choose wisely, Kalrael." Even so, he held his hopes high that it would end, however much a revelation it had been. To his dismay, one other figure could be seen ahead of him, her eyes vaguely as sinister as seen in his more tormenting moments in life, though through this he forced his eyes closed, dismayed that in fact the illusion spawned in and of his own mind, forcing visibility. The curse. Every deed he had committed under the influence of the Black Shadow and loss of conscience played through in his mind, and his breathing had so slowed as he arrived at the end of the tunnel that he could easily have passed as dead, despite his nature.

With a long oar, Roma guided the boat back to it's landing and tethered it back to the dock.
"Please watch your step, and thank you for-"
She paused, seeing the strange state of the man.
"Are you alright, sir?"

Kalrael paused for several seconds before nodding slightly and daring to open his eyes again.
"Unbecome, for who I wanted to be but, I'll live..." He said after a long yet shallow breath.
He shifted a leg beneath him, leaning forward on his front leg and alternating from front to rear as he picked himself up between them and stepped off, a slight appreciation falling on his face despite the sheer terror and hatred of what he had seen.
"Thank you, though."
He dropped his head slightly and stepped away, slowly yet with an unaugmented step.

She watched concerned as the man left before giving the attraction itself a curious glance. Was it really that powerful?
