The grand city underneath the sea in a underwater cavern, it glows with a luminescence that brightens the water around it with a glowing blue light. Most of the structure of the city was carved from the rocky bottom, and soon became one of the architectural wonders of the Multiverse. Secluded from most of the Above Conflicts, the King Tritis concerns himself with his people, and is very devoted to protecting Cerac.
A recent threat has arisen, as Nagas that can breathe under water have taken up a reefs, plotting to attack Cerac. With the advantage of the only entrances into the city funnelling enemies in, the local population of Sea Serpents has been disturbed, many killed and more tamed for combat, and Tritis isn't ready to ask for help, though he soon might.
Locations & Areas of Interest
Many places are only accessible to Merfolk, but some folks from the Artifacts Guild have begun using diving equipment in exploring Cerac's outlying areas. Some have started selling suits to those who are trusted, but many others may use magic to create a bubble of breathable air to go under. However both are not very flexible, and with the Sea Nagas stirring up the Great Reefs, you might have to be more creative, or more inventive to survive beneath the waves.
Great Reefs: The gigantic reefs are as old as the Multiverse some guess, and are rich with life, containing the most vast diversity of species anywhere. Sea Nagas have taken to hollowing holes or kicking out the marine life for shelter, replacing the previous poisonous non-sapient & tiny sea snakes on the danger level. Caution is urged when exploring this area.
Underwater City of Lelatine: The greatest city of the Merfolk and one of the Sixth Wonders of the Multiverse, it is as much a work of art as a place to live for the many denizens of Cerac. The Markets are the hub of activity in Lelatine, King Tritis's castle is in the center, made up of the Court and the Servant Quarters. The rest of the city is the Main Quarters, broken up by the Shops.
