When I was little I loved to read, and it's a hobby that's I've carried into my adult years. A lot of my allowance went to book fairs, and I can still remember bring my book order home to mom with 90% of the order circled as to what book I wanted xD.
I read mostly The Babysitters Club, both the BSC series and the Baby Sitters Little Sister. Boxcar Children was another favorite of mine. And I also read Mary Kate and Ashley series. smile
Before chapter books, it was Bearnstein Bears. I loved them!
What about you?

The first chapter book I ever read was called "Aliens for Breakfast". I read it back at the beginning of 2nd grade. I remember how proud I was when I finished...
I also read Magic Treehouse, A to Z Mysteries, The Land of Elyon, Cam Jansen, and Amber Brown series. Most of my books ended up donated, but I still have a few of my favorites on my bookshelf, and sometimes I go back and read them for old times' sake. <3
My all time favorite has to be Stargirl, though. I still reread my copy frequently, and I take extremely good care of it.

As far as I can remember, I don't think I read alot as a child. But one of the few books I did read as a kid and will always stick out in my mind, is a book called 'The Ginger Ninja'.
It was about a bunch Cats, and they played 'Pawball', which I guess is a the cat version of Baseball.
Anyways, I remember that I read this book so many times that both the front and back covers fell off xD
I used to like the 'Where's Wally/Waldo' books, and anything to do with FairyTales razz

I actually think the first chapter book I read was Inkheart. LOL, and that was in the 3rd grade. That book's like, 500-600 pages long I think? xDDD I never had any patience for what normal kids read when I was younger; Junie B. Jones and American Chillers, pretty much. I hated them with a passion. D: Before chapter books, I read lots of anime. (Mostly Pokemon, lol. And 'read' can be roughly translated as 'looked at pretty pictures.' xD) Dr. Suess was one of my favorites, if I remember right, we had a day dedicated to him at my elementary school where we just sat and read Dr. Suess all day. It was awesome. :'D I also recall reading the Magic Treehouse series, Stargirl, and The Tales of Desperaux. Good books. I've always been a book nerd, probably always will be. Hooray for books! <3 xD

The was a very touching book that my mom would read to me all the time called, "Love You Forever." Does anyone remember this?
I have it to where you can listen to it, it was such a wonderful book, not only for children but for all ages.

 Mr. Pengachoosa.
It's about Fifty-Six pages long... and is about this one hamster that a girl could understand telling stories about his grandfather. I read it when I was about three n.n It was my first book to be read alone after winnie the Pooh and Dr. Suess.
I still love it to this day~
