Welcome to the Planning Thread for the Spring Edit Event. This event will encompass both St.Patrick's Day and Valentines day but in a new and improved (and hopefully funner) way.
Post here to sign up for the event. Each person that signs up for the event will be partnered at random to complete both one Valentines Day and one St.Patrick's Day edit together with both a male and female base. The editors can decide amongst themselves whom will do what part of each edit.
Editors can submit single edits on their own. The editor with the most sales overall (including the sales from your couple edits), will win (depending on participation) - 35k. If we get lots of participants with lots of edits the 35k will be doled out as planed. So battle hard and go for the gold!
Feel free to use this thread for planning with your partner, gathering ideas for what to edit, and definitey for registering before the deadline!(Jan 15th) The partnering results will be revealed in this thread as well, so be sure to check back on the 15th! Feel free to work on a sub-theme under the umbrella theme of the two holidays.
The event will begin on February 10th and end on March 30th. You can add as many edits to your display as you want the entire time(and increase your odds of winning the contest).

I was going to make a pretty flash banner for this event, but I don't think Gaia supports flash in posts. sad I guess I'll just have to design another door... sweatdrop

With the size of this banner, a gif would make it look really lousy. That's okay though...I'm sure nobody hates the door too much.
