A Mountain Wolf's Decision
The history dates all the way back to Mountain wolf territory. Iago, an original Mountain wolf became bored of his homeland, He left it when he was fully grown, leaving behind his brother Odin, and many others to see what the world had to offer outside the great mountains. He traveled for a while, crossing valley's and meadows, amazing sites and seeing many other wolves. His travels led him to the shores of the Hinterlands, having followed the great river to it's mouth.
There he saw the most incredible site, A waterfall dancing off of rocky walls, the water fresh from the river, that is until it crashed into the ocean beneath it. It had the perfect base, and after exploring Iago found a massive cave, a perfect den tucked behind the waterfall, high enough above the waves that even at high tide in rainy season they didn't touch the base. If you looked directly at the falls you'd never notice this den, but from any other angle the path was clear as the distance from the water was quite a bit from the mouth of the cavern.
Iago claimed this small piece of land, loving it's view so much he decided to make it his secret hide-away. Funny for him, this wasn't just his hideout. A female named Lorieann had called this exact territory part of hers as well.
The Ocean Sisters True Heir
She was classified as a lone wolf, But Lorieann was far from that, actually coming from a very long line of a nearly dead race of great wolves. The ocean sisters, part of the original council over the hinterlands, had once upon a time started a pack on their own. Choosing the ocean territory for it's beauty, serenity, and abundance of food sources. They lifted their pack on firm standards, striving on unity, peace, and knowledge.
The lands were plentiful, the waterfall's den being their home for generations grew and prospered, but as their policy was always so easy, and honored most for knowledge. Many of the pack drifted to learn more and travel, eventually there weren't many pure ocean wolves left, the twin sister's heritage disappearing with these pack turn lone wolves. The sister Celina is whom's bloodline Lorieann is from. Born on the same beach that has been in her heritage sense those great sister wolves first claimed it.
She held to the Waterfall den, loving the history of her ancestry and wanting to feel closer to it, unlike her mother whom had chosen to leave her daughter to continue her journey to higher knowledge.
When Star Crossed Lover's Meet
It didn't take long for the two calling the Waterfall den home, to cross paths. When Iago first met this brown patched Dragga he couldn't take his caramel eye's off her blue. It wasn't much longer after that first meeting that they became mates, and from that moment began their family, restoring what the ocean sisters had once created, a safe haven for any wolf who needed it.
A few years passed before they had pups, in this time many lone wolves came across their lands, having also enjoyed the view of the waterfall den, or being of some long lost bloodline of the Ocean Sisters looking to see some of their greatest history.
They all became friends with the two Alpha's, and through this friendship a pack slowly formed, First it was a lone female's pup whom she couldn't care for, from there wolves came and went, the pack always having one motto in place. "May freedom forever be the pace of your paws, and may forgiveness come when you've returned home." This came to be shortly after the Half-Pack term was put into place, Lone wolves whom weren't entirely lone material, they wanted pack. But couldn't bare to give up freedom. And thus forgiveness came whenever they came back home, the ones who stayed just grateful to have their safe return, no matter how short.
This had been the way of the Ocean Sisters of Moon and Sun. and So it seemed only right for it to be the way they made things work. With this philosophy the pack grew strong.
Iago and Lorieann had a two pup litter their first try. Two boys, KilRoy and Tilan. Tilan died as a pup, drowning in a rip tide. Roy grew strong, and when he was old enough he left to wonder for a while as his father had done many years before. When he returned he had two more siblings, Wall-e and Katerina. Wall-e was a strong willed pup, and he became close to Roy, Katerina had a cheery attitude and loved life. Her's was cut short one winter as an adolescence when she got sick.
Wall-e grew strong like Roy and together the boy's helped their Ma and Pa with the pack. Both strong in the values of family, and understanding that knowledge, love, and peace were the keys to a happy life.
The closing of one door, and opening of another.
Iago and Lorieann decided to go on a hunt alone one night, it was nothing new, until they never came home. Roy was the one who found their remains, they had been caught in a stampede of Caribou. Both boys were hurt deeply, twice for having to see their own parents murdered the way their enemies pack alphas had been not long before. Life was valued by everyone in the pack no matter if that life belonged to an enemy or an ally. The entire pack mourned for months, feeling crippled by the loss of their beloved Alpha's.
It was Roy's decision to let Wall-e take Alpha, He had never felt the drive to lead and knew the Wall-e would do far better then he with his wonders soul. So he took the humble position of beta. And with the pack half back in order they continued on. A year later Wall-e met Eva, a pure blooded Sun Daughter, and together they took the pack to a new level of prosperity.
Present day
The pack is large, Pups are plenty along with the general showing of Half-pack whom come to visit when ever they do. The Pack Has Enemies, but also Ally's and so long as the true values remain that, nothing can take what this pack gives. Life. Hope, Second Chances.
Life is Good.

Setting: IK is an Ocean based pack, It's main den rests in the rock's on the shore line tucked safely behind the great falls that empty into the crashing ocean below.The pack boundaries go well into the forest, following a simi-circle around the den, only to end right on the crest of a hill. The main food source besides rabbit and deer, are shellfish, Wild Boar (pig), Caribou, Elk, and Cougar that think it a wise idea to try and hunt pack pups. Small pray up to the size of the wild pig are year round, with Caribou and Elk coming during spring and rainy season.
More on the Location
IK's Den is situated on the shore line where the large river that flows all they way from the mountains empties out. It's mouth is at the highest peak of a cliff that's a remnant of other rock formations, leading further back into the forest. The Cave is tucked teen feet under a slanted (Think of it as a rock umbrella) ledge that saves it from taking in any of the water fall. It's also Twelve feet above the ocean's waves, making it safe and dry even in the peak of high tide season. It's a wide mouth cave that if you follow the edge of it all the way around can lead neatly to sandy earth, or if you wish a quicker drop you can take several different routs of rock steps that out crop around the massive cave (Just watch out for slippery ones from the waterfall's leakage). If you go directly out, and between two streams of water from the falls you'll come out to the sunning rock, a platu that hangs over the ocean, or tide pools if it's low tide. The shore line is rocky everywhere, making perfect tide pools in random places, if you follow the sand, land word you'll come to the tree line of the dense forests. Basically there's a lot of different turf to play with.

Wolves: Of the Ocean and areas surrounding it are more known for their lean builds, but very strong legs. They run long distances to catch much of their pray and much of it is very, very fast. If your wolf is from the Ocean/surrounding area they might be more lean to some of the other builds. They aren't small like forest wolves though, Nor massive like the Mountain wolves. Their legs and thighs are thick with muscle, but their coats are thinner then wolves farther in the forest, the ocean keeps temperatures in a warmer level year round to where they rarely see snow if ever so their coats are more adjusted to absorbing sunlight and helping the breeze cool them off in the hottest days.

The Sisters of the Ocean
Celina and Cira were twins, born in the times of the first stories, and of the great wolves. They were said to be beautiful and elegant, their bodies lean and strong, their fur shorter then some of their other relatives. Though they remained larger then others.
Celina was in essence the Moon's choice in a wolf, The legend says that sister moon picked her choice child's coat, and body to match that of her own, dark colors of milky way rainbows, with eye's as blue as the deepest ocean. This daughter was strong, but mellow, very interested in peace and understanding all around her.
Cira was sister Sun's chosen child, Her name meaning exactly that, Sun. The warm embers of a summer day are what colored this wolfs coat, along with white's and lighter blues of the day time sky. She was fiery in spirit, loving the world around her and choosing to do all she could to enjoy it.
Sun loved Moon, they had been sisters sense the beginning. They cried as they took the duties needed when mother earth was created, their tears were for the news that they would forever be separated, never to see one another again for more then a sunrise, or sunset. When it was their turn to create a great wolf they chose Celina and Cira because of this, and embedded parts of themselves so that they could be together once more. Thus the great daughters of the Ocean were created. Though then they were known as the Daughters of Moon and Sun.
The sisters lived like any pup, wondering the great lands and learning all they could as they grew up with the other great wolves, the first children. The found the end of the land when they were in early adolescence, captivated where the ocean crashed on soft white sands, and their they wondered the shoreline.
Seeing the Waterfall that crashed into the ocean and never stopped brought them a sense of peace. Celina claimed that part of the river as her heart. as it continually flowed, a steady, solid pace. Only to crash and meet her sister whom had claimed the waves as her soul. A torrent of never ending quests, each time her paw grasped one she pulled only so little back with her. like the waves taking sand.
By this point in their lives both sisters had taken to a few of the other great males, and were heavy with pups. Birthing them in the spring time, when the tides were rising steadily with the heat of first summer. They chose the Cavern behind the falls as their birthing place, where they had five pups each. They raised these first of the ocean wolves, and helped with the ones that those pups and the pups after had as well. Leading their pack with three ideals for life: Unity, Peace, Knowledge. And with time their names changed from "Daughters of Moon and Sun. " To "The Ocean Sisters" as wolves and other animals grew strong through out the lands and chose to call them.
The time came when the great wolves were called to leave this plane of existence. Or so the story goes, and as the sisters were set to go. They gifted the next alpha's with the knowledge they had, with hopes of the ocean lands forever being a place of sanctuary and love, and then left with the first dimming ray's of sunset.
The legend goes on and says that every few generations one of the sisters if not both of them returns to learn more of the world. No proof of Celina or Cira has been seen sense, but then, how would any know for sure if one of the great sister's return? ;3

My goal: is to become an active rollplay within ourselves. It doesn't mean I have "requirements" per-say to be in this pack, More or less that I will throw pack rp's and sometimes events! =D Whats more fun then gaining experience and what not through Pack or a group Rp?
::A little about the Pack::
What you should know about your Alphas,
Wall-e is kin to the Mountain wolves, but also of Celina's Blood line. He's very relaxed and tends to have more fun rough housing with the pups and yearlings, along with aiding in Dominance fights then most alphas probably would, and more so then his other duty's being an alpha requires. He is a comforting presence, with his fluffy very large frame, and gentle eyes that tell of his love for his pack, he's usually the one that anyone feels they can turn too.

Eva Is from Cira's bloodline, She's elegant, and much more stock and stern then her slightly silly mate. She is always welcoming however, especially to new pups, or mothers seeking shelter. But she is more of the guardian type, often teaching the young ones hunting if not leading a hunt herself. She is lean, short furred and all Ocean wolf, with an air of elegance that can sometimes come off haughty. She is overall loving of her pack and willing to die for it.

What you should know of your Beta's,
KilRoy Is older, not to the point of graying, but he's seen much and done a lot, including roaming for a couple years as alone wolf. He's generally kind to all he meets, though he expects respect and with his large stature it's usually an automatic given. Unlike his quite fluffy brother, he holds the thinner fur of the ocean wolves, along with the slightly leaner build though still much larger then a pure Ocean wolf. He's the packs story teller, and along with Sendoa a Lore-keeper, one who has been trained to know all the legand's of the wolves.

Noëlle, a wolf originally from the high mountain ranges, is a friendly, energetic wolf, eager to help and aid the pack that saved not only her life but the lives of all of her pups. She is a large wolf (although smaller and less furred than most of her mountain brethen) and can be bossy and prideful at times, but always with the best intentions, for her loyalty is always towards the greater good

What Anyone, Anywhere, should/could/would know of IsraKaiya as a whole.
Unlike most packs in the Hinterlands, IsraKaiya is known for it's kindness, for it's willingness to accept all who desire to be pack, and who are unusually willing, and rather enjoy the presence of Lone wolves. They are large, and prosperous, And many visit and leave with a regularity that other packs would become uncomfortable. Not many find enemies in the pack as a whole, though many know of their fights that have happened, and are very aware of the powerful wolves within the usually peaceful pack.
::Whats Expected::
Wall-e and Eva are easy going Alphas, there beach bums to put it lightly, and no, not in the Lazy sense, but in the happy and relaxed way.
What rules they do have, are expected, without question, sense there ain't many.
Pack Rules
* Don't just up and disappear. that's just lame, It ain't gotta be anything big but srsly. just let me KNOW your piffing or moving on. This pack is the chillest out there, it ain't that hard to come or go if you want too.
*Don't hunt the protected... >.> they are friends, not food.
*Try not to get caught in the surf. the undertow is strong... Wall-e doesn't want to come fish you out.
*Always hunt in twos at the least. It's safer, and better chance of actually "catching" something.
*Respect your higher Dominants. We run by a rank system, depending on how dominant depends on who out ranks who, Your welcome to challenge a wolf you feel your stronger than, but don't be a sore loser when or if you lose. But bottom line, don't disrespect your Alphas, Betas and Dominant Gammas. And DON'T be mean to the Omegas.
* Don't go running your mouth about everything going on in the pack. Pack secret is pack secret. Which there ain't many of those, you'll know if you come across one.
*Respect the TOS and Rules of Gaia, Along with the Rules of the Hymn. That means RP rules too. wink
*Have Fun! This is uber important to me, I mean, whats the point of RPing, or even being in a shop as epic as this one if you ain't havin fun! =)

Dominant: A wolf who is higher ranking, All wolf ranks drive from whom is more dominant. Alpha being the highest dominant control's and leads the pack. The Pecking order goes from there, Even Gamma's have a level of dominance that they use to pick who eats from the hunts first after the Alpha's and Beta's.
This is a wolf who's quite capable of fighting to prove their place in the pack.
Submissive: A wolf who is less Dominant then another wolf. Pack's need Submissive wolves, without them who's there to protect? The Alpha's entire purpose, along with any and all other dominants is to protect the ones who are submissive. Like a Pack wolf taking care of a Pup, or Protected.
This is a wolf less inclined to fight others.
Protected: Familiars and other critters that are non-wolf or not full pack. They too are ranked by level's of Dominance in the pack, They are family, not food.
Half-Pack: Half-pack is actually just a wolf on friendly terms in IK they come and go as they please and can always find shelter food and safty in the pack lands if they choose, Pups or wolves who don't wanna be half-pack means that they don't want anything at all to do with IK or got kicked out... (think of it as a grandfather claus/act. because your born here or grew up here your automatically placed here unless you wish not to be or become a full member.)
Dragga: A female. (Term taken from the book, The Sight. It might be opposite from the book term, but ti's how I prefer it.)
Drappa: A Male. (Note the above statement.)
Tide: This is the term for the waters closeness or farness to shore. When it's "High" Tide the waves are all the way under the Sunning rock. There are no tide pools, and the wind is usually a bit slower/gentler (usually not always)
"Low" Tide is when all the Tide pools are out. This is when the water is about a mile from the rocky place we call a den is located, The falls during this time creates a mini river that is permaninatly tucked under the sunning rock. this is kind of like a perfectly shallow play area for everyone, the water is brackish, which is half salt/half fresh. so it's not bad. Down side is about 75% of the time the wind is alot more stronger.
Tide Pools: These are small to larger shallow water areas along the beach and rocky shore line where water got trapped, they are only around during low tide, and are usually much warmer temperature then the ocean water or river. you can find all kinds of fish and shells in these things.
Tide Waves: Alot like Tidal waves, as in HUGE MASSIVE DANGEROUS. Any ocean wolf knows a tide wave set when they start. It signals the changing of tides and is the most dangerous time to be int he water, though these strong sets only last a small while. They come in like any normal wave, but crash alot harder and farther inland, best stay far on the dry sand during those times. Usually any wolf has a very good warning, as these waves come in sets, and are abnormally huge.
Tidal Wave: Really, Big, Wave.
Wave Segments: Waves never come alone, they usually travel in two's and threes. During good surf it's usually 3-5 or even 6 segments. The middle waves are usually the most powerful, the first wave usually the weakest, along with the last, though the second to last is usually a big one too.
Undercurrents: The ocean has several layers of currents, Undercurrents are sneaky. They are the most dangerous as you can't see them coming without a trained eye, and they can spring on you almost instantly. They are under the first two layers of currents, which are the layers you see in waves and slow flat moving top water. The undercurrent sweeps you off your paws, and drags you out. It's too strong to fight by swimming directly, and only can one be freed from said current by swimming slowly sideways towards the shore line.
Omega: is mentioned because of it's difference from other packs.
Unlike most, here it is not considered a bad term in this pack. Wall-e and Eva don't view an Omega as the "Weakest Link" They just understand that while they, as Alpha's are outward Dominants, Meaning they fight to hold their position and are recognized for it.
They know that Omega's are Dominants, in a different way. Instead of being the warrior's of the pack. the Omega is the heart, the Soul, and the care giver for the future of their pack. They make sure that the rest of the pack, pups especially are taken care of.

A quest for Acolytes
Roy and Sendoa are the only current record keepers of the great and massive amounts of knowledge about our wolves histories, about the ancient great wolves, and even of the legends based around the familiars. What Buffalo? Am I big enough yet?
The Buffalo hunt is annual, Its that right of passage that earns each pup the right to take rank among the pack.
Roy is the leader of this hunt, usually with one or two other fully grown adults with them. Any pup(Aka young adolescent) who thinks they are ready can take this journey that takes three days to travel to the great planes. There they come face to face with the largest beasts in the forest and together plan and hunt one for their first buffalo kill.
Once this rp'ed out hunt is over they earn the honorary shells of the pack, and are no longer considered pup. But fully grown adults.
((Shells are small custumed edits to said wolf of any piece of shell jewelry that the owner wishes at Ryuu's gracious awesomeness. Of course this is why there it s a form as the RP needs to be completed the right ways to earn these free edits!))
Second Note: this doesnot have to happen for your wolf to achieve Adult status in any way. it's just to get a higher ranking of sorts which I will have the kinks worked out of shortly. And to get a fancy piece of jewelry, for FREE! =D

The Warugaruga, ran by the slightly over arrogant, Young alpha Ralastor has decided to attack our boarders. it all started when Namia and Quinlan came across a lone female named Ember, who happened to be hunting in the territory during pupping season (Spring). She was less then cooperative and they later discovered why when Ralastor himself decided to try and test our boarders.
Now the entire pack has been called to both fight and defend what we all have called home. The submissives are back at the cave, along with several adolescents trying to protect the pups! Everyone else is on the battle front located in the woods not too far from the den.
Just as things were getting very rough another wolf from the Waru began a silent solitary hunt for the den. Found by Saorise, she now needs all the help she can get from the submissives to keep him away from our youngest members!

"Its been a few years sense this happened. But it's worth mentioning..." Roy says in his storytellers voice. His deep brown eye's full of sorrow. "Alpha Wall-e and I were hunting, it was before our parents... time, back when we were the Betta's. I had just come back and wanted to introduce him to a different kind of hunt. Buffalo..." He gives a rhy wolfish grin as memories noticeably flash in his wise eye's. "We traveled three day's into the forest, almost to the great meadow, before the mountains. I would have stayed where I was, left them to their just deserved fate. But Wall-e... Our Alpha is to kind hearted, He darted back into the insanity! He barked, growled, and half attacked his way to reach the two. I followed, keeping his flank alive..." He swallows, closing his eye's. "We both witnessed the two get trampled, just as we had almost reached them... I will never forget there faces, once they had realized what they had done. The Male went down first, his mate following in an attempt to rescue him. It... wasn't pretty to see..." He looks up, his dominance keeping him from looking down or any other direction as he takes a deep breath.
"After they were done for, Wall-e and I struggled to get out. That's when the two Alpha's Pack arrived. They must of thought we started it... though it had been their own Alpha's doing... They chased us, and though we were twice any of their packs size, we retreated, feeling they had lost enough that night. Not long after we were back home, our own pack had been devastated by the loss of our Alphas... and even shorter after that, Wall-e picked up on the scents of those Dead Alpha's pack... it was a tension filled few weeks after that... we could see they were devastated and enraged, their howls that night... were enough to tell us so, but they never attacked... " His ears were back as he finishes, letting the mystery of the situation soak in.

I still feel their rage in my bones, They could come at any time..." He say's every full moon. Wall-e heed's to Roy's worries, but none of IK know what's coming their way...
I can't say when, But Roy's feelings are pretty accurate... there will be a good ol' pack duke out... I will have more info up when we get things perfected and ready... Be prepared for epic Shenanigans. Our quiet lands wont know what hit them... ;D

This will be a mock duel rp between who ever is conflicting in their roll of dominance. As they play it out, they will use the random number generator. lowest 1. highest 3. and it will play out from here.
1. Attack Fail
2. Attack Block
3. Attacked Succeed
You will do this six times per wolf. that's six posts a wolf.
From there we can determine how many hits, misses, and overall scoring to help with the outcome of the battle. The ending result with more points will be the Victor standing as more dominant, and the Loser accepting the lower rank.
Challenges can be made regularly twice a month between the same wolves. though you can challenge any other at any time.Just no more then twice a month against one wolf.
Betta's and Alpha's are exempt from this til a later date... who knows I might decide to switch things up a bit in a year or two. =D

That was what Kazehaya was before Eva stumbled across his starved, dehydrated and barely conscious form in the forest and brought him to the IsraKaiya pack to nurse back to health and subsequently raise as one of her own. Such wasn't an uncommon occurrence since lone wolves were never known to be good at parenting in the first place. Upon his recovery from his near brush with death, Kazehaya was quick to embrace his new family as his own, his memory of his biological parents and the siblings he once had fuzzy ever since his physical ordeal. What led you here? Eva brought his half dead body home to nurse back to health Personality: A good-natured and unassuming soul. It is hard not to enjoy the company of one such as him and although he was naturally well-liked wherever he went, he always made it a point to look out for others and help them as best as he could. Back Story: Aurello was coddled by his mother and father in his puphood. They fawned over their only son and he never went without food or shelter. But Aurello did not want to live under their care forever. He wanted to move away from the small, isolated pack and see the rest of the hinterlands. In his adolescence, he decided that he would ask to leave the pack once and for all. But the conservative alphas feared the outside world and forbade him to leave. Disappointed, Aurello tried to settle into a role in the pack. However, his parents saw how solemn their son had become and urged him to flee in the secret of the night, despite their own worries. Aurello said a tearful goodbye to them, then left the packlands for good.
Aurello has been wandering more or less alone ever since.

What led you here? Plain old wandering and curiosity of the ocean.
I think it would be funny if he was rescued from the ocean by someone. xD Because he can't swim much (yet).
Personality: Aurello is the friendly, chatty, adventurous type and does not seem to possess a sense of fear. He never feels nervous or shy around strangers, even if they seem menacing or unfriendly to most other wolves. Aurello tends to be oblivious to details in the environment, especially the subtle signals that others may give him in their body language. Often, Aurello will not notice if something or someone poses a threat until it is almost too late. Luckily, Aurello is resourceful, and he will use anything he can find in the immediate area to get himself out of trouble. Since he is a bit dense, he is not the sharpest wolf in the forest, but he is creative and capable of thinking things through before acting, even under stress. Generally, Aurello just wants to enjoy himself, so he sees no need to be cautious or wary of the unknown.

What say you on me making banners for each pack wolf like how I have Wall-e Eva and Roys? I'm kinda wanting to do that but I will need Uncerts to make it. If y'all don't like the idea it's no worries I can keep it just names and link them ^.^
Oh... and you CAN talk in here... I know it's still all new and stuff but I want this to be a fun chatish thread for plot ideas and pack stuff =)
