-- Kariko Village --

If anyone was going to name an official center of the Otogakure, Kariko village would be the closest thing to it. Possibly the largest village in the Otogakure, this town is a center of commerce as well as the exchange of ideas and many other important places. It is here in the village where you will find the Otogakure's only official buildings... The Great Dojo, The Hospital, and the Temple... all of which reside in this mountainside village. All of that being said however, you could probably walk from one side of the village to the other in under thirty minutes.
Many villages like this one exist throughout the Otogakure, but none as renowned as this one, as this is where business is conducted. Those seeking the services of the village request it here and then carrier birds are sent to the Otokage, who then sends the work to the appropriate ninja via more messenger birds. Swallows are a common sight, flying to and fro throughout the village delivering messages to the village's ninja via specially colored ribbons which hold encoded messages. In many ways this village is considered the capital city, and many ninja live, work, and train within it.
The main road, the widest one which runs through the village, is where most of the commerce and businesses of the village are located. From tailors, to sword smiths, to farmers selling their crops, you can most likely find anything you need in this marketplace. No ninja tools of any kind are sold here however, those must be appropriated by the Dojo, or by special storehouses located in the village's residential area. Only sanctioned shinobi of the Otogakure have access to these tools and the locations of the storehouses are kept secret.
From the main road, the paths begin to narrow and wind through the various residencies located throughout the town. All of the paths are wide enough for people to get around however and the village is never too crowded. the only time when this village, even as the capital, sees large numbers of people is when tournaments at the Dojo take place.

Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Stepping into the semi-busy streets of Kariko village, Kye gave a feint smile at the relative peace and prosperity her village had begun to experience after many years of hard work and rebuilding. Well know here as a diplomat for the village and a rather esteemed one who was a correspondent to the Otokage, many people smiled and greeted her as a familiar face among the crowds. making her usual stops at the local businesses to see if there was any need yet unmet and to check up on inventories so she knew what the country had excess of and what they didn't, Kye made her way down the wide path slowly, but on schedule with her usual daily visits.
She was about to leave the village for a brief period of time, which she never truly liked to do, but in this case, it was unavoidable. She had heard through her many informants that Konoha now had a new Hokage and she had taken it upon herself to make a visit in order to try and achieve a peace treaty with them and possibly to open up more avenues of trade. Of course, there greatest export was rice, which all people needed... and thanks to Kye's leadership and the land's bounty... the rice Country had produced enough of this to feed the ninja world several times over. Now, it was just a matter of setting up the trade agreements.
Walking through the village, Kye had finally arrived at the other side as she began to make her slow stroll through the Rising Eastern Hills on her way down to the Lowlands and then eventually to the Flatlands. It would give her a good chance however, despite the long journey to check in with the local guards disguised as Rice Country farmers to ensure that messages be sent to her in the case of an emergency. She didn't foresee anything unfortunate like that happening on her short sojourn, but it was better to be safe then sorry in such matters.

Tenza Zangetsu || Crystal release || Otogakure || Academy Student || Elemental Control Crystal and Sound || Tenza walked along the streets as his black hair shined with the sun. He looked to the side, looking at the people that walked along the streets, glancing at them all slowly. ' Better go start my training...' He thought as he headed toward the Dojo.

Tsubasa Deido |Academy Student| Otogakure| Ninjutsu specialist| Tsubasa was helping a local food merchant that did his work in Kariko village. Tsubasa was good friends with this man, and enjoyed helping him with his fruit stand. Plus, he got a little bit of pocket cash. That was a really nice bonus. He was finished helping for the day, so Tsubasa headed down the main road of the village. It was time to train. He walked slowly towards the dojo. He was hoping ehe could finally learn some powerful techniques soon. He need to make a start if he was truely going to able to help the people around him. He looked at Kariko Village. The people walkign by, happy with the goods they bought, the children playing. It was beatiful. This is what he wanted to protect. Otogakure was a close village of beatiful landscape, loving people, and many wodners to be explored. This was his reason for being a shinobi. To preserve what he loved. He cleared his thoughts as he walked along the road towards the dojo. [Exit]

Leading the way into the streets, the young boy continued to skip happily along the streets until he reached a crossroad. Turning left, the young boy lead the young man behind him towards a nearby inn. Walking casually past the front gate, the boy continued to lead the young man around the inn before stopping before a well. "Nee-chan said that something fell down into the well, could you go take a look please?" The boy asked in a completely innocent tone of voice.

As Tensai followed the boy he found himself familiar with the surroundings, although he could not place the name for the inn they entered. It looked rather pleasant, although a little plain in his own opinion. When they passed under the gate Tensai allowed his eyes to roam the dimensions of the establishment. When they stopped in front of the well, Tensai turned to the boy and was just about to voice his confusion when the boy indicated the well now harbored some object that belonged to 'nee-san'.
With a sigh, Tensai walked to the edge of the well and peered into the dark depths. "What exactly fell down there?" he asked without turning around.

As Tensai stared down into the depths of the well, it would appear to completely void of anything as is was completely dark. No sounds could be heard from the well and as you peered in deeper you suddenly feel a pair of hands push you down into the seemingly endless well.
What you assumed to be a deep fall ended up to be a relatively short fall as after 5 seconds you seem to have to landed on something soft. Though short, the fall was still deep enough to make it difficult for you to to climb out. Fingering the well, you will eventually come upon a wooden sliding door. If opened, you will come upon a dark tunnel.

Skipping happily towards the main streets, the young girl cheerfully led the way along the streets until the two of them reached a crossroad. Making a right, the young girl nonchalantly lead the young man behind her towards a nearby inn. Smiling wider now that they were at the right location, the girl stopped skipping and broke into a quick dash. Running past the gates, the girl didn't stop till she reached the well located to the back of the inn. "You asked who requested your help right? Well one of the nee-chan working here said something or someone fell into the well, could you help?" Staring puppy eyed at the young man, the girl sincerely hoped that he would go towards the well and look into in. From the shadows, another young boy remained hidden, still smirking from the deed he had performed seconds prior.

"Oi! I asked you what wa-"
Suddenly Tensai was shoved into the dark abyss, his eye widening into the size of dinner plates as he plummeted into a dark, endless abyss of pure and utter DOO-
In a relatively short amount of time he landed on a very soft material, leaving him unharmed and very disoriented. Glaring upwards he vowed to toss the child of a mountain once he escaped the dark well. Fumbling in the darkness, Tensai began probing the walls for a possible foothold when he found the handle for a sliding door.
Now intrigued he pulled it open, revealing a dark tunnel. For a long time he peered into the tunnel, waiting for his eyes to unsuccessfully adjust to the low light. Sighing heavily the young shinobi entered the tunnel, moving at a steady pace with his arms ahead in case he ran into something.
He passed the time by envisioning the mischevious childs face when he found Tensai waiting in front of whatever hole he walked into.
((Sorry about the wait Lilly, I was called for dinner >////>))

Tenza followed the girl into the busy city streets; and before long he found himself in a crossroad of some sort. Following the girl he took a right and found himself near a in. Seeing the girl pick up the pace he did the same; he ran behind the girl, slightly worried that something might had happened to someone. Hearing the girl, and looking at her eyes, Tenza sighed. " Alright then; I guess I can check." Tenza said, not because he truly wanted to, but because her eyes won him over; Women, Tenza's one and only true weakness. The ebony haired boy quickly paced toward the well and looked down, completely unaware of what had happened.

{That's fine, I had to entertain my younger cousins so it's cool. Your post made me laugh as well. Sry that its taking so long to get to the training btw.} After entering the tunnel, the door behind you that once led into the well suddenly slid shut and as you continued to move through the tunnel you eventually feel you hands brush against another door. Sliding it open, you see light wooden floor illuminated by a soft orange glow. Crawling out, it would appear as if you entered the basement of the inn. Funny thing though, it was designed to look somewhat like an underground dojo. "Ushio Tensai..." An eerie, energetic voice spoke out from the darkness... "...we were expecting you..." Another voice, this time soft and quiet continued from same part of the room. Suddenly two figures emerged from the shadows. The two girls were identical in both height, looks and attire. The only way to tell the two apart were how they stood and the headphones covering their ears. The girl with the red headphones stood a step in front of the one with the blue headphones and from how she had one hand on her hip, it would appear she was the more confident of the two. Compared to her sister, the one with the blue headphones stood meekly behind her sister, right hand lightly clutching onto the left. "We hear you're in need of training?" Spoke the sister with the red headphones.

((Haha, it's good to know my post amused you. And the length isn't a problem, I'm not in any particular rush))
Tensai hastiled turned around when the door slid shut behind him, finding himself tugging frantically at it for several seconds before he realized it was locked. He swore and berated himself for not caring any weaponry, concealed or otherwise. At this point he wanted to practice his Taijutsu on the young upstart who trapped him at the bottom of some infernal well.
Alone, Tensai's true colors were beginning to show and a dark gleam shone in his deep gray eyes. Scowling he trudged onwards until he reached another door which he angrily slid open before crawling onto a wooden floor. It appeared he had entered a small underground dojo, illuminated by a orange light. As he buished dust from his shoulders, Tensai rolled his neck and glared at the ceiling when the eerie sound of his name being called out brought him to pivot on his foot.
Two figures escaped the shadows, identical in almost every way save for the different colored headphones they wore. Red (as he would now call the woman with the red headphones) stepped forward and the nature of their meeting was revealed by their words. Tensai relaxed, aware that these were the two shinobi he requested for training.
"Ahem, yes I did. I am curious...Have you ever heard of the Ushio clan?" he asked, somehow regaining his composure enough to bravely pose a question.

Looking down on toward the well, the genin felt a psir of hands apply pressure to him and push him into the well. He began to fall n' his life, very brief and boring life, passed through his eyes. ' I'm to young to die!' The boy's eyes tearing up slightly; but very quick he slammed his head against a soft material. With his face planted on the ground, and nothing really visible, he sighed. " Last time I ever fall for pretty eyes like those." Tenza mumbled to himself, getting off the ground; he quickly sat and looked up. " So this is hell? A lot darker and colder than what I imagined" The genin came to this realisation because there were no angels, and everything was so dark.

Kita and Minami UnabaraOtogakure | Sp.Jounin | Soma no Ko | Teaching MasterEying Tensai carefully, the two noticed how tense he was, most likely from the unexpected way he was pulled into the dojo. 'Maybe we went too far...' Though the shy one still standing securely behind he sister. 'He seems tense, the drop must've been a fright...success!' Though the confident sister in front. When he spoke, both sister nodded in 'yes' as they had indeed been told of the Ushio clan. In fact they know pretty much about all the clans in existence thanks to their extensive reading habits. They two had pretty much read through three quarters of the Kariko village hidden shinobi archives.
Taking another step forward, the girl with the red headphones began to speak, "Well, if we are to train you, I guess it would only be proper if we were to introduce ourselves. My name is Kita and that's Minami, my younger twin." Kita's voice was alto like and held an energetic tone to it. Peaking from behind her sister, the girl with the blue headphones, Minami, spoke in a soft soprano like voice. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, how may we assist you today?"
