Within Kyo's inner world there was a stare down occurring between Kyo and the mysterious doppelganger. "Who are you and what have you done to Zetsumeireiki?" Kyo asked, not even bothering to hide the anger in his voice.
"Oh me and Rei-Rei just had a bit of a spat because she was angry about having to share her space with someone else. "I won't have it. I know what you are and I will not let myself become a monster. I will get rid of you...." Kyo narrowed his eyes as looked at his vampire side then suddenly lunged at him fist drawn back for a punch, "...by any means necessary!"
Kyo's vampire spirit had seen the attack coming. 352 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Hei's appearance into the area was abrupt and would have caught even the most alert Captains off guard. Instead of appearing close to Kyo, or even behind him, he put his small frame in between Kyo and his next step. The result would be that the two beings would collide, only Hei would fail to budge against Kyo's momentum and weight. Gazing down, Hei gave Kyo a look of discontent and proceeded to lift his right hand and snap his fingers to create a bright flash of light to blind the Shinigami.
Shifting his weight, Hei lifted his right foot so high into the air that his upper body was parallel to the ground while his left leg supported his weight. To Hei, it was like slow motion when he did this, then snapped his leg forward to bring his shin to Kyo's face to deliver a bone crushing blow. However, to Kyo, or any bystander for that matter, his speed wouldn't even register to their naked eyes. After impact, Hei right himself, dropping his foot towards the ground. Straightening up, he watched for any movement on the Shinigami's part, obviously to prepare himself should he come at him. Hei had no intention of becoming a Vampire.
Unfortunately for Kyo, two things were not working in his favor. The first was unavoidable and that was that Hei had no prowess for the Kidō Arts, meaning that the highest Bakudō he could perform was Geki, which would obviously not be enough to stop Kyo. This meant that Hei had no means of binding him so in order to stop him, he had to either sedate him or bring him to a near-death state. Hei wasn't picky, so whichever option presented itself first, he would take it. The second thing working against him was that Tetsunosuke's interference and subsequent failure and further irritated the man. An irritaed Hei meant a significantly more violent Hei, so it spelled bad news for Kyo, especially if Hei decided against finding a sedative on his person. Nearly killing him would just be so much faster and more satisfying.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ [entrance] Tetsunosuke stepped out of a Shunpo to take a deep breath. During this split second break, he recalculated where Kyo was, along with Hei. It appeared that Hei's abilities as being a prodigy was allowing him to get an upper hand, as seeing it seemed he was already on top of Kyo. A grit from Tetsu's teeth was heard before he stepped off into another Shunpo. 'Hei must not be trying to kill him... since he would have - or at least should have- already done so now. But still.' Tetsu thought as the scenery around him was nothing really but a blur.
"Oi... what'cha gonna do if he kills 'em?" A voice ringed in his ears. 'I'll just have to fin- NO! I'm not thinking that way. I am not loosing a fellow comrade.' A resolve came over him as his Shunpo steps seemed to hasten. He was upon them sooner then he had anticipated. Hei had just finished his assault on Vampiric Kyo. He lifted his left hand into the air, "Bakudō sixty-two: Hyapporankan." Tetsunosuke monotonically said the spells name. A pole of Reiryoku appeared in his left hand; as he began to throw said pole, it instantly multiplied several times -after leaving his hand-, producing almost 50 of the rods. They all rained down on Kyo intending to immobilize him. The rods would outline around Hei under the intent of Tetsunosuke, if Hei opted not to move.
Tetsu continued his decent whether the spell was successful or not; his position was behind the two when he landed. "Hakase-san... if you would allow me, I would like to assist you in the capture and restraint of my lieutenant; but not the death of him." Tetsunosuke's tone of voice had an apologetic embrace. He wasn't going to get in Hei's again unless it meant to save Kyo from death. He unsheathed his Zanpakuto from its scabbard, the blade was without shimmer as it became free from the sheath. He wordlessly went into Shikai and began to produce a very foul putrid smell that only Kyo would only be able to inhale; the inhalation of this stench would not sit well with his stomach and could induce vomiting.

He instantly went to stop but his momentum carried him right into Hei, causing their heads to collide. Kyo stumbled back a bit from the recoil of the collision, but he quickly regained his composure. He was furious at Hei now. Not once, but twice had this man gotten in his way and injured him. It was time for him to die. Kyo stepped forward and grabbed Hei by the shirt, his face twisted with rage. Kyo saw the captain's look of discontent and shortly afterward a bright flash whited out his vision. Kyo released Hei's shirt as he rubbed his eyes while growling. His fury towards the man was building more with each passing second. Kyo growled as his vision began to slowly fade back in, but before it did there was a sudden weight that drove his face into the ground so fast and hard as to create a crater. Kyo lay motionless for a moment, stunned from the force, then he slowly made his way back to his feet. As he looked down at Hei the wounds on his face from the shards of stone slowly closed themselves up. Kyo then reared back, fully intending to punch Hei as hard as he possibly could, but before he could unleash the strike a rod went through his arm and dragged it to the ground. Kyo fell onto his back as more rods pinned other parts of his body to the ground. The enraged Kyo struggled to get free of the Bakudo even going as far as to push his Reiatsu to the absolute limit, but his efforts proved to be fruitless.
Kyo's inner vampire frowned and looked up at the sky suddenly. There was a large hole in the side of the lake house behind him that their fighting had cause them to make. He then quickly leaned back then grabbed Kyo's extended forearm. "Trying to land a punch while I'm distracted. Crafty. Too bad I'm stronger than you are." He flashed a smile at Kyo then said, "Fifth Movement: Heaven's Cross," before delivering a vertical kick that caught Kyo in the chin followed quickly by a hook punch to the side of Kyo's head. While Kyo was stumbled from the attack his inner vampire then shupo'd behind him in the air already in the process of delivering another kick to the back of Kyo's head. "Third Movement: Guillotine Kick." The kick sent Kyo flying back into the lake house and his inner vampire followed with a shunpo, after which he appeared in the process of doing a flipping axe kick that hit Kyo right on the back of the neck. The force of the kick drove Kyo into the floor so hard it splintered. "This isn't your world anymore, Ro-Ro. It has become mine now and once I consume your soul so will your body. So why don't you be a good boy and just roll over and die?" Kyo's inner vampire chided as he stood at just inside the hole in the wall.
Kyo groaned and rolled over onto his back. He was laying just below where Zetsumeireiki was suspended. "R-rei," he said his voice barely a whisper. She slowly opened her eyes and looked down at him. When Kyo looked back into her eyes he knew what he had to do. He slowly sat up then started to get back on his feet while speaking. "This is your world? I should just roll over and die?" Kyo said as he clenched his fists. "Just who the ******** do you think I am? I already told you. I'm not going to let you have your way. I'm going to get rid of you. This isn't your world. It's mine. It represents the depth of my soul and power. You are just a trespasser. You don't belong here. And nobody but Rei is allowed to call me Ro-Ro!" 424 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." As Kyoshiro had moved to punch him, Hei simply watched him with a lackadaisical expression playing across his face. Having already witnessed his strength firsthand, he was well aware that any strike from Kyoshiro would not manage to inflict damage on Hei's Reiryoku-reinforced skin. Hei has fully prepared to take the strike head on without flinching or any such action, but it turned out he didn't need to do so as Tetsunosuke's Kidō soon interfered with the Shinigami's intended movements. Hei kept an eye on him as he was pulled to the ground by the binding spell and for a brief second, Hei desired to learn Kidō as well. Fortunately for him, he knew his limits, so this desire was quickly cast aside.
Hei's gaze slowly traveled to the corners of his eyes as he glanced back to look at Tetsunosuke in his peripheral as he landed behind him. He spoke of trying to restrain the Lieutenant instead of killing him, which meant that's what he thought Hei had been trying to do. It was almost enough to make Hei destroy something. He was dead for one week and already everyone forgets that if he wanted someone dead that he would do it right away? He didn't torture opponents before he killed them unless they had done something to annoy him personally. Kyoshiro had done no such thing, and he was under orders, or at least the watchful eye of his elder sister. Tetsunosuke's comment alone was enough to entertain the option of killing them both; Kyoshiro for touching his robes when he was nothing more than a commoner, and Tetsunosuke for interfering once more, even after Hei had warned him not to. Hei kept his gaze trained on Tetsunosuke for a silent minute before he flicked it back to Kyoshiro, looking upon him with a scathing glare.
"Don't get in my way." He said softly and calmly as he lifted his right hand. A tiny ball of light quickly formed at the tip of his index finger before two concentric rings of light circled around the fingertip just as fast while four extensions of light stuck out to connect these rings in each cardinal direction relative to his fingertip. Hei pointed his finger at Kyoshiro, then released a beam of light that traveled at light speed to pierce his waist. Hei widened the beam to a single inch in diameter, and the heat of the light would immediately cauterize any wound formed, thus leading the cells to be fused together and prevent regeneration.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke was relieved to see Kyo was still in one piece, and that his Kido had been successful. He knew that he had gotten in Hei's way again, but he thought he could use this chance to restrain him. Tetsunosuke really didn't like ticking off the Hakase, it was just so easy for him to do so. The 6th Division Captain kept his sight set on Hei's while Hei was staring him down for the silent minute. No facial expression was expressed besides a blank slate; he wasn't going to let this man scare him off just by sight. From behind, it was difficult to see what exactly Hei was doing, so taking careful steps, Tetsu closed the distance by traveling up to the left side of the street, far enough to not enter Hei's close personal bubble.
He saw that Hei was rearing a light based technique, a bead of sweat pour down his face to his chin as he watch. His mouth opened some as Hei shot the beam of light about an inch wide into his waist. "Hakase-san, I don't want to sound annoying, but will you explain - in due time of course - why you're shooting Kurihara-kun?" Tetsu sheepishly smiled while rubbing that back of his head, he lowered his head along with the rubbing. A soft "Heheh" noise came along after it, insuring that Tetsu wasn't trying to get in the way. His scythe in his right hand was still present, as he stood it blade end down. Tetsunosuke still didn't feel like a Captain, he didn't know if it was the absence of a Haori, or the experience and time as one, so for now he still felt like Hei was above him in Tier; while this held true in strength and intelligence and other certain areas.

He disappeared with a shunpo appearing in the air behind Kyo once again in the midst of performing an axe kick. Kyo quickly put his arm above his head, effortlessly blocking the attack. He then grabbed his inner vampire's ankle before slamming him to the ground followed by a punch to the lower back. Kyo's inner vampire retaliated with a kick to Kyo's shin, which dropped Kyo down to one knee and allowed him to get back on his feet. The doppelganger then went to rain down a series of punches on Kyo, but Kyo shunpo'd out of the line of fire before any of them could land.
"No match for you, huh?" Kyo taunted as he appeared standing back to back with his inner vampire. His inner vampire was furious now. He turned to roundhouse kick Kyo, but Kyo had predicted the attack and ducked to dodge it while turned around so he was facing the doppelganger. "He who loses his temper becomes predictable. Sixth Movement: Three Kings." Kyo rose up in the same manner he had attacked Zenos and delivered the brutal combo which left his inner vampire stumbling backwards.
"You think you've won just because you landed a couple lucky hits?! There's nothing you can do to stop me!" Kyo's inner vampire then lunged at Kyo once more screaming with rage. Kyo didn't even bother to move as his inner vampire closed. He knew he'd already won the fight. It was just a matter of finishing it now. When his inner vampire was within inches of striking, Kyo ducked low once more then spun in a circle around a past him. In the process Kyo managed to wrap all eight strings around his inner vampire's abdomen and shins causing his inner vampire to fall to the ground.
"Didn't I tell you this was my world? You lost this battle the moment you showed up here," with that Kyo ran his fingers over the eight strings and they hummed together in harmony.
Kyo's inner vampire smiled as he looked up at Kyo while his body slowly began to freeze over. "Hmph, you're stronger than I thought, you little piss-ant. Maybe I'll lend you a hand from time to time. Remember this, however: As long as you refuse to accept me, I will refuse to accept you as master of this domain. Until you give in completely and admit what you've become, I'm going to fight you for control every chance I get. You hear me, Kyo? This ain't over. Not by a long shot." Kyo's inner vampire then let out a laugh as his head finally froze over leaving him staring up at Kyo with the smile of a madman on his face.
Kyo continued to look down at him in silence. Zetsumeireiki then reverted back to her spirit form. "Took you long enough. I was starting to think you were giving up. Oh and I heard what you said. You can't complain anymore when I call you Ro-Ro." She stuck her tongue out and Kyo who stiffened at that last part.
"Hey I was just caught up in the heat of the moment. Don't take that serious," he said with a little laugh. "Can you take care of him though? I'm going back to the outside to see what kind of trouble he's caused. Harasawa-Taicho is going to kill me. That's twice in one day I've caused everyone problems." Zetsumeireiki nodded and Kyo disappeared shortly after.
In the outside world the pinned Kyo howled with anger at Tetsu for binding him and at Hei for attacking him on multiple occasions. Despite the pain it was causing with the hole in his stomach, he continued to struggle to fight free of the Bakudo to the point that it seemed he would surely dislocate every major joint in his body. Then he suddenly fell back onto the ground limp. After a moment he opened his eyes again then looked back and forth between the two captains, then to the rods that pinned him to the ground, and finally to the hole in his stomach. "I am to assume there will be severe recourse for my actions, correct, Harasawa-Taicho?" Kyo said after sighing. "It seems I have been quite the handful for it being my first day." The fangs retracted as he spoke and his eye and hair color returned to normal. He looked back at Hei. It didn't take long for Kyo to recognize one of the most well know Shinigami in Seireitei. He didn't really have much to say to the man at first, considering he thought he was dead and buried up until just now. After a moment of looking at the obviously alive and kicking Hei he opened his mouth to speak again. "Hakase-taicho. It is good to see you alive. I know I have caused much trouble for you as well, but I have an offer for you if you'll hear me out." Kyo didn't wait for the man to respond. He knew Hei probably wasn't listening to him anyway so he had to say something that would catch Hei's attention first. "I will let you experiment on me to your heart's content so that you may fully understand what I have become if you in turn make something that will aid me in keeping this monster within me under control. I fear that if I try to hold it back with my willpower alone I may lose control again and next time I may hurt or possibly even kill someone." Kyo didn't know much about Hei, but he knew from his studies on the captains that Hei was a pursuer of knowledge. 549 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." As the light on his finger died out from the successful attack on the boy that lay before his feet, Hei demurely lowered his arm to his side, casting Kyoshiro a look of indifference. The Shinigami should count his blessings that Hei decided to only do that, as his other option was to bifurcate him at the waist which would make putting him back together all the more difficult if both wounds were cauterized. He would have had to cut off the dead, seared flesh, then align the two halves and use a regenerative serum, and because Kyoshiro had put him through all of this trouble, he would have opted out of using anesthesia. Tetsunosuke's god-awful voice suddenly permeated his eardrums, causing him to shift his gaze towards his so-called colleague who had done him the misfortune of getting even closer to him, and then speaking to him. Hei didn't bother answering his question because the answer was so mind-numbingly obvious that if he had to answer him, he would end up losing it right here.
Kyoshiro's sudden movements caused Hei to shift in place, moving his right hand to his katana where he palmed Shōhi's kashira and let it rest there for ease of access. He would draw the blade in a half-second if he deemed it necessary. Unfortunately, Kyoshiro's appearance shifted, presumably back to normal though Hei was wholly unaware of whether or not this boy had been white-haired beforehand. However, Hei went on the correct assumption that it was in fact normal as a few seconds later he began to speak to both of them in turn. When it came time for Hei to respond, he simply gazed at the boy for a few seconds, then turned and began to walk away at a very reserved pace. An oddity to be noted by anyone who was paying attention was that he now had his sword drawn and was holding it out, pointing it towards the ground away from his feet. Not to be seen by the naked eye was his movements prior to turning. As he had stared at the boy, his arm had promptly disappeared as he drew Shōhi from it, then proceeded to create a shallow cut across Kyoshiro's forehead for the purpose of getting Kyoshiro's blood on his katana so that he may take it to the labs and run tests on it. Once this had been accomplished in such a small window of time, Hei had turned away.
As he ventured off, he spoke to Kyo, finally responding to the boy. "Let me? You thought I was going to sit back and wait for your permission? Allow me to introduce myself as we've apparently never met before. Hakase Hei, 12th Division Captain. Egotistical genius and famous for kidnapping and extortion. Spare me your conceit; if I needed your permission, I would have simply forced it out of you." Since he hadn't been walking very fast, it was still quite simple for both of them to hear every word he said, and as an added measure, Hei had spoken a little louder than normal, up until he finished. As he neared a distance of several dozen feet away from the two Shinigami behind him, his body flashed white and was gone.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke watched as the maniacal Kyoshiro finally was subdued by his true self; it appeared. After his meandering to try and break free, Kyo seemed to recognized Tetsunosuke by sight. During his time as a squirreling fool, Hei had readied himself to attack him, he had noticed his shift of position; if it came down to it, Tetsu wouldn't be able to match Hei in speed to save Kyo. But thankfully this never came to be an issue. Tetsu did add a sigh of relief after his Lieutenant seemed to had regained his sense. He looked his head as he canceled his Zanpakuto's released and sheathed the sword. It had went quietly into its scabbard. "I am a very forgiving person, Kurihara-kun. But don't suspect to be let off the hook with ease. You're going to be disciplined to handle that -I'd suppose- Vampiric inner self." Tetsunosuke took a more authoritative voice, thought trying not to sound like some drill sergeant. Tetsunosuke barely had time to react, let alone say a word, when Hei had took a slice at Kyo's forehead. The blood that was carried off unto Hei's sword wasn't a sight Tetsu liked seeing. Tetsu could only rub his temples from the stress that came with dealings when Hei was around.
Hei was walking away, or had been walking away; all Tetsu had noticed was that he was to his right any more. Kyo started to speak to Hei, which would end up to him ignoring him, or audibly making some sort of conformation to the Lieutenant. Kyo's words caused him to give a strange look to the lad, and then back to Hei, he hadn't stopped walking but replied. Kyo had offered himself up as a guinea pig for experiments, which made Tetsunosuke want to shout out. Hei introduced himself, which made Tetsunosuke's eyes pop opened. He was never introduced to Hei, he was thrown forced into a bankai training session with the man which resulted in him getting injured pretty badly. Hei vanished with a flash of light, which made Tetsu slump over and exasperate. "Oh my Gawd! What's your deal?!" Tetsu screamed. His bakudo should have warn off by now since he wasn't forcing it to stay activated. He just shook his head to forget everything that transpired just moments before Kyo spoke to him. "Just go to Yonbantai to get your hole, forehead, and whatever else needs fixed and meet me at Rokubantai Dojo. We need to get to know each other more." Tetsunosuke implied the last part in a genuine friendly way; he didn't want to have a Lieutenant he didn't know.

םєsɪʀє υɴʟєαsʜєם, ѡαʀ ɪs ɱʏ םєsтɪɴʏ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Kenpachi Kōdo ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 11th Division Captain Passing out in his division's barracks was only the beginning, and after that it was nap after nap after nap for the restless captain. There was no one to fight since everyone was either wounded, weak, weeping or knocked out, and he couldn't tell the Captain-Commander about his new seat when she was in a coma. Therefore, Kōdo found himself sleeping the days away or traipsing around the Seireitei without rhyme or reason. Currently he was wandering the streets nearest god-knows-where; he was helplessly lost and had yet to ask anyone for directions. Still, he did not appear to care about his predicament, if it could be called that, and instead looked rather aloof and uncaring as multiple Shinigami rushed past him, trying to put the Seireitei back in order from the war that had taken place five days ago. After a while, he was stopped, or rather hailed, by a group of female Shinigami who saw him as a strapping young man capable of lifting heavy objects. They wanted him to take care of something heavy for them, and for a moment he considered their request as he stroked his chin and puffed on the cigarette between his lips. While they talked, he kept his eyes on their respective chests and made no move to hide his gaze.
When they were done, he nodded slowly and moved his arm from the front of his robes back into it's sleeve where it belonged, then put his arm around a particularly busty Shinigami. "And if I do this for you, what's in it for me?" He leaned over and a second later received a kiss on his lips and hands on his chest; she certainly knew how to get right to the point. Kōdo nodded his approval and released her before sauntering over to the object in question. It was a large slate of granite, too big for any Shinigami below Captain level to pick up, but there was no one else in sight. exhaling smoke, Kōdo cracked the fingers of his right hand and gripped the rock face, then hurled it into the air before jumping after it. As he reached the top of his jump, which matched up with a height three feet below the apex of the boulder's arc, he drew his nodachi and reduced the slab to several smaller chunks. A second later, he hit the ground lightly followed by a dozen smaller slabs of rock that sunk into the ground beneath them. Kōdo sheathed his nodachi and extended his arm for the woman to approach him, which she did, smiling a seductive smile that made his blood boil. With his arm around her shoulder, he lead her away from the area, personally giving her relief from today's work so that she may "service" him rather than the rest of the Seireitei.

|553| Kazama, Kazuhiko, Ichibantai Fukutaichō Kazuhiko was taking a short break from his duties to get some fresh air. It was odd to have his Captain in a coma from the battle still and he had hopes that she would wake up soon. He did want to try and be sure that there would be no work for her to do when she woke up but being acting Commander was harder than he had been expecting. There was so much work to be done and so little time to do it in it seemed. Especially considering how long they had been absent from Soul Society. It was still taking some adjusting being back. Buildings were needing repaired from not being taken care of during the occupation among other things. It was nearly exhausting considering how unprepared he had been to fill in for her but he was determined to make sure everything ran smoothly even if it brought him to his breaking point. Not that he was expecting it to do so. He could go without sleep for quite awhile if necessary. Yuki wouldn't be asleep for that long surely. Maybe a couple more days or something along those lines.
Kazu felt bad for her brother however considering he had lost his daughter and sister all in one day. He felt bad for Yuki as well considering she was not even aware her daughter was dead. Still slight fear for the man that was Hei caused him to steer clear of him just in case he was in a foul mood because of everything. He had to wonder how exactly the baby was considering her mother was absent. Kazu was sure she was still being fed but babies were supposed to be attached to their mother's hips right? Were Kazu present he would have done everything possible to make sure Yuki did not end up in a coma because to him that was what being a Lieutenant meant. Going above and beyond to help out your Captain along with the usual duties. He was here to make Yuki's life easier and so far had failed at that. However he had not been present and therefore was of no help what so ever. It made him want to work that much harder to make up for that alone. It felt like he had dropped the ball big time by missing the battle completely. There was no use in crying over spilled milk though right? Letting out a deep breath Kazu continued walking enjoying the peace for the moment before returning to work.
He had yet to check in with the family since returning and quite frankly was dreading doing so. His uncle was not exactly kind to him after his cousin deserted. Losing an heir had not did much for the man and considering his nephew was supposed to be his protector that did not help his opinion of the man. Kazu tended to try and make himself scarce whenever the man was around but he was going to have to check up on them eventually. They were sure to be settling back in right about now. He had not heard anything from his cousin while in the human world and quite frankly hadn't been expecting to. His cousin was long gone and obviously wanted to stay that way.
