Have you ever ran into a shiny pokemon before?Tell me.I did once in either pokemon fire red or leaf green I forgot which.
I barely remember what happened it was on route 1 and I had just got the pokeballs.I ran into a pidgy but it was a different colour than the other pidgys and I tried to catch it but I failed.

Yeah, I've run into a shiny Oddish and Poocheyena. I feel like I've run into another, but if I have, I can't think of it now...

I've... Ran into an asston, actually. The ones I can remember:
» Rattata in GSC. Didn't catch it.
» Miltank in GSC. Didn't catch it.
» Oddish in RSE. Caught it.
» Fearrow in FR/LG. Caught it.
» Chikorita in DPPt. Hatched it.
I've also got a shiny Mewtwo and shiny Lugia in GSC, but I didn't run into those two; A friend did, and gave them to me. Anyway, I've probably ran into much more, but I can't remember them, especially any over these past few years, since I've been generating my own shinies on cue.

I've ran into a few.
Growlithe in Crystal - No Capture
Togepi in Crystal - Hatched
Geodude in Diamond - Capture
Golbat in Diamond - Capture
Umbreon in Diamond - Given to Me
Metagross in Diamond - Given to Me
The Growlithe I encountered before I even knew what a shiny Pokemon was. I was about.. eight years old and didn't have any other friends who were playing GSC or the internet to help me realize what I had done by battling it. I mean I did try to catch it because come on.. it was Growlithe and I wanted one, but eh. Didn't happen. xP
Togepi was a lucky hatch. I didn't care too much for the Geodude or Golbat. Geodude is "golden" piss yellow and Golbat is pretty much army green. Not exactly OMG AMAZING shinies.
Umbreon and Metagross were gifted by a friend because he knew I like them. sweatdrop He spent weeks hatching eggs. He's amazing.

I have a pretty weak record for shinies.
Geodude - Crystal. Ran away, not my brightest move.
The inevitable Red Gyarados, blah blah blah..
Meowth (now Persian) - Either Firered or Leafgreen. one of the two.
Oddish -(Evolved into Bellossom) Emerald
and anything else I get from now on will likely be hacked.

I've found many shiny Pokemon over the years. And I have a pretty darn good memory when it comes to remembering them.
Silver:
Nidoran female – My first shiny I caught apart from Red Gyarados. Is now a Nidoqueen
Ekans – Accidentally knocked it out.
Tangela – Ran away
Nidorina – Caught it
Gold:
Tauros – Caught it. I loved this one.
Raticate – Caught it.
Crystal:
Cleffa – Hatched from Odd Egg. A friend played my game and created their own file, so I lost it. crying
Mantine – Ran out of balls trying to catch it.
Smoochum – Hatched from Odd Egg. Evolved her into a Jynx.
Ruby:
Shroomish – Caught it while training a Torchic. (Not my starter, one I hatched from an egg)
Geodude – Caught it. Evolved it into Graveler
Sapphire:
Torchic – Got this one while restarting for a female Torchic. Now a Blaziken
Machop – Caught it. Evolved it into Machoke.
Roselia – Caught it.
Emerald:
Trapinch – Caught it while training another Trapinch. Evolved it into Flygon.
Plusle – Caught it
Electrike – Caught it while training another Electrike in my party. Evolved it into Magnetric.
Firered:
Charmander – Got it after restarting the game for three days straight. Now a Charizard.
Growlithe – Caught it.
Spearow – Caught it while training another Spearow. Evolved it into Fearow.
Paras – Caught it.
Leafgreen:
Mankey – Caught while training another Mankey in my party. Evolved it into Primeape.
Caterpie – Caught while training a Butterfree in my party. Evolved it into Butterfree.
Spearow – Caught it.
Diamond:
Graveler – Caught it.
Golbat – Caught it. Evolved it into Crobat.
Gengar – Received over GTS
Breeloom – Received over GTS.
Pearl:
Gastly – Caught it while training another Gastly. Evolved it into Gengar.
Budew – Caught it while training another Budew in my party. Evolved it into Roserade.
Platinum:
Tentacool – Caught it while training an Electabuzz.
And I’m pretty sure that’s it for my shiny collection… I’ve yet to find any on my HeartGold/SoulSilver versions.

I was watching a let's play of pokemon crystal by chuggaaconroy and he ran into a shiny koffing right in his lets play.How lucky!

Shiny nincada... can't remember which game, I think I traded it for something.
Other than that the only shiny I've seen is Red Gyrados in Lake of Rage.
Although my little brother caught a shiny magikarp... sweatdrop I guess it was lucky for him since he'd killed the Red Gyrados... xp

My brother caught a shiny swinnub in gold. It was so cuteee! He still has it.
As for me, I've never caught a shiny other than the one that everyone and their uncle has. I almost got a shiny wobuffet(sp?) through the gts, but no, stupid people gettin' it before me. crying
