 --Village Streets--
These are the Village Streets of Konoha. They connect every part of the city together, and are the means of transportation. These streets, like the marketplace, are always crowded with people of all sorts, heading to different areas.

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff. Takashi sprinted down the street, full of energy now. A wide grin crept on his face as he sped up more and more with every three steps. If he was going to get faster before the next Chunnin exams, he needed to pick up the pace with his training... now. He passed by all sorts of people, that to him appeared as elongated blurs. Some of the children pointed and laughed as he leaped over their heads. Now he took to the walls of surrounding buildings, never loosing momentum.
Now at the rooftops, Takashi now leaped from rooftop to rooftop, rolling with each landing, pushing off with his feet, then hit the ground running every time. The wind in his hair felt wonderful. He felt free, and it was amazing. This was the freedom he sought after during his stay in the Ryuujin. His body felt lighter than air, if that was even possible. For some reason, he felt good.
But now his stomach was growling. He never even stopped as he whiffed the air for a food scent. The Ramen shop came to mind as he grinned, then leaped off the rooftop, landed on the street below, then took off again. Not even a bead of sweat appeared on his body; his body was usually use to heat. Next stop: food.

____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan Stepping into the streets of Konohagakure, Misuki was met with a few curious glances and several smiles from certain people. Having spent over three months in Konoha as a ROOT member definitely helped her forge some sort of bond with some of the villagers but now that she was Hokage, things were different. Back then, she was but a visitor, an assistant to their Hokage at most. Now, she was a foreign shinobi chosen to take the place of the most influential person in the village. That was bound to turn some heads away. 'At least they still try to act civilized around me...I wonder what the reception is like for Deil...it must be more difficult in Kiri than it is here...I mean, we've never even visited Kiri till the war took place...'
As Misuki was drawn into her thoughts, she missed several kids running down the streets playing 'ninja' and accidently bumped into one. Instantly snapped awake Misuki used her quick reflexes to bend down and stop the kid from falling. Releasing a sigh of relief, Misuki smiled at the young boy and patted his head. The other kids who had been playing with the boy saw what had happened and one having recognized her from the hospital began chatting excitedly with her. This in turn, led to them remembering she was the Hokage and thus, even more excited chatter sprouted. Having always enjoyed the company of kids, Misuki face changed from its usual passive, professional one, into a softer, warmer look. She even had a small smile gracing her features as she spoke and chatted with the kids. Eventually, Misuki caught onto the sun's location and knowing that she best be going, ushered the kids off, all who waved excitedly to her goodbye. Giving off a small wave of her own, Misuki waited till the kids were out of sight to stand up and resume with her original task. The smile instantly faded and back in its place was a thin drawn line.
Misuki walked down the streets for several more minutes before she made a turn right and headed down into a more commercial area. Stopping at a sweet smelling and bright floral shop, Misuki took a moment to admire the brillant display. 'Beautiful...' Walking up to the door, Misuki pushed it open and silently stepped in. From behind the counter, a petite young lady stood and spotting Misuki, flashed the Sindoue a wide smile. "Hello again Misuki. Here for the usual or is there something in particular you're searching for today?" Glancing to the petite woman with long raven hair and dazzling magenta eyes, Misuki simply gave her a small smile and nod in greeting. "No, I'm good Totori-san. I think I'll take a look first." Keeping to her smile, the storekeeper,Totori Eri, nodded and headed to the back of the shop to bring out some more flowers for the Hokage to choose. For the past few months, Misuki had been a frequent customer and by now, she had her tastes memorized to heart. She also knew how much Misuki like to browse at new and different flowers.
Misuki watched as Eri headed to the back room, most likely to bring out more flowers. The girl certainly picked up on her little obsession but yeah, it's been around a 4 months after all. Less than half a year since Deil first bought her a white calla lily from this shop. 'He was so secretive about it too...' Eyes immediately drawn to a vase of white calla lilies, Misuki couldn't help but lean down towards them and pull one close to her face. Closing her eyes and taking in the flower's sweet sent, Misuki was immediately brought back to memories of that morning.
Irritation, confusion, fear, anxiety, hope...all these feelings were coursing though Misuki at this moment. Irritated that Deil had the nerve to come knocking on her door at 6 in the morning. Confused and fearful at his words, 'Lets take a walk...'. Hopeful that it really was just a simple outing. But overall, irritatation was the wining emotion. Just who in the world did he take her for?! He suddenly announces out of nowhere that he was going to become Mizukage and now this?! It angered and saddened Misuki to no end. A day and a half ago, things were still fine. The two of them got along great, having both survived through the devastation that was the bijuu war. Others were not so lucky. Kage would be one of them...their temperary leader gave up her life to seal a demon within a child and that was it. In less than a minute, the Hokage was dead...having given her life for her village and in her place Misuki was chosen.
She of course was shocked and had thought about declining the offer, but the prospect of staying with the one she loved in a new village appealed to her. Konoha was a wonderful village and though she would miss Suna, she had built memories and roots here during her time as a 'ROOT' member. So for the next while, Misuki kept trying to convince Deil to join her, only for him to suddenly throw that into her face. Of course Misuki boiled over with anger. She felt betrayed and to think she's been making a fool of herself for the past while when he had known just as long that he was to be Mizukage...Deil got lucky having just walked away with a slap from Misuki. Well more like, she slapped him and then high tailed out of there. For the next day and a half, Misuki spent it cooped up in her mini apartment, crying and nursing her injured hand.
So yeah, Deil pretty much woke her up at 6 in the morning by pounding non-stop at her door. Misuki's first instincts had been to slam the door in his face but he was faster and stopped it with his feet. Being the taijutsu specialist he is, he easy pried the door open and with no other choice, Misuki was forced to listen to him. Which leads her to her current predicament - on a walk to kami knows where in the early morning. The sun was still on the edge of the horizon but the early morning colours were already decorating the sky. Eventually, Deil stopped in the middle of a bridge looking over a small river in a certain training ground and turned to face Misuki, face completely serious.
Body instantly tensing at his expression, Misuki seriously wondered if this was it? Will their relationship really end so soon? For 8 years, Misuki has spent keeping people out and now that she's finally found someone who she could open up to...will it all end, just like that...Confusion and worry were clearly shown on Misuki's face but Deil's expression remained the same, making Misuki worry even more. Finally, he spoke.
Deil's speech started off steady like normal, but he was taking a hair longer to say his sentences than normal. It was apparent to Misuki that he was or had put serious thought into his words. "I'm sorry, Misuki, for not telling you sooner my intentions. I want to be with you, but staying with you would leave Mist destabilized. We will need allies to stay safe and one day beat the Akatsuki, and neither of us will be safe while they're running around. Taking in his words, Misuki's face becamed less worried but a frown still remained.
Deil then turned his head to the side for a second and reached into an opening of his pack to retrieve something. When he turned, Misuki was presented with a white Calla Lily. "I got you this for you Misuki, because it's shaped like a heart and yet functions like a bowl. What I mean to say is you have all of my love, Misuki. You are the only one I've ever felt so...." His speech began to become choppy, like some of the words were getting caught in his throat. He would try to maintain eye contact with her, but kept glancing at the lily and the sunrise. This made Misuki a bit twitchy, as she was entranced and wanted to hear the rest. Finally, he continued, "I promise you... I promise that I am going to come back as soon as the Mist village is... stable and has a proper leader and..., if you're ready when that time comes...," His voice wavered badly, and a few tears streaked down his face. Staring at his face in curiousity, Misuki could tell from his facial expressions that he wasn't sad, so she could only assume they were tears of joy. As he took to one knee and gently held the hand she had slapped him with with two nights ago in-between his own, Misuki could feel her breath hitch and she bagan gaping in shock. Breathing laboured, Misuki tightened the grip she had on the calla lily in her left hand. "...I would be honored if you would be my wife." Left hand shooting to her mouth, Misuki was completely taken a back by his purposal and as tears of joy began to run down her own face, she could only nod a silent 'yes'.
"Misuki? You alright?" The sound of the storekeeper's voice instantly snapped Misuki awake and she whirled her head to face Eri, surprise clearly etched onto her face. "Ah.." Blinking, Misuki swiftly regained her composure and nodded. "Yeah, I'm good." Quickly glancing around, Misuki spotted some orange lillies and pointed to them. "Um...can't I get a bouquet of orange lillies please? Ah...and another bouquet of white lillies..." Staring at Misuki's still nervous figure curiously, Eri made no move to comment on her Kage's behavior as she simply nodded and began picking the best lillies from each vase. "And the calla lillies? Would you like to take one for yourself Misuki? You seem to be rather fond of them."
Tensing a bit, Misuki released a sigh and did her best to completely calm herself. Changing the beat on her sound device to something more elaborate but steady, Misuki glanced between Eri and the calla lillies. 'Am I that obvious...' Not bothering to respond, Eri could only stare in confusion but once more kept her mouth shut as she stood up and brought the lillies to the counter to wrap. "You should choose one Misuki and no worries, its on the house." Flashing the girl a rare sincere smile, Misuki plucked out the same calla lilly she was looking at from before. "Thanks..." Simply releasing a soft grunt, Eri remained focused on quickly wrapping up Misuki's order, making sure that they looked presentable. Walking over to the counter, Misuki reached into a pouch and took out her coin bag. Slipping out a few 1000 yen bills, Misuki placed them onto the counter. "Will this do?" Glancing up from her work, Eri took a moment to calculate the costs and simply nodded. "Yeah," Tighting the bowtie on the final bouquet, Eri gently picked up both bouquet and handed it over to Misuki. "Here." Taking both bouquet into the same arm, Misuki used her left to support them in place. "Thanks," With a low nod of her head in parting, Misuki headed out the door and down the street towards the memorial.

Sengoku Enro ||Chuunin||Rinnegan||Sensei|| As he exited one of the back alleys within Konoha Enro spied a familiar lithe figure over the heads of the villagers as they moved to complete their mundate task. He wondered if she could feel his amber hues boring holes into the back of his head. Almost mechanically he adjusted his direction and seamlessly merged into the crowd.
Following her wasn't very difficult but he made sure to stop around corners and act as if he were busy with errands. Despite his size, Enro knew exactly how to blend in so he was just another face in the crowd.

____________________________Sindoue Misuki_______ Konohagakure / Medic / Hokage (Sp.Jounin) / Sindoue Clan Exiting the dojo area, Misuki arrived onto the bustling streets of her village and taking a look around smiled at the reconstruction proccess. From the looks of it, everyone was contributing in one way or another. Vendors were offering food and drinks to the shinobi working. The old were giving sound advise, the young helped to sweep the streets. All in all, it filled Misuki with pride that the village was getting along great and everyone was sporting good citizenship. 'With all the shinobi teams and original construction teams on the site, I'm more than sure Konoha will be up and running by the end of the week. 'And that's being the latest. Its good I've finished setting up these final genin squads. It'll help to pick up the pace as well as breeze through the finishing touches.'
Glancing up to the sky, Misuki took a moment to ponder over the current state of her home-village and the village of her love. She could only hope that Suna and Kiri's reconstruction was going just as smoothly as Konoha's. For the most part Suna was left relatively undestroyed, Kiri being on an island didn't suffer all that much either. In the end, Kumo and Iwa suffered the hardest, Konoha being just slightly above them. 'Well at least we still have a village...' Making a turn, Misuki took a left and headed towards the marketplace for a check-up.

The streets were still the same, and so was his need to become faster. By now, he figured he was about a fourth of the way to tearing the muscles in his legs to have them repair and build up enough to improve his speed. He wasn't using just bursts of sprint. Now he was using obstacles to improve his reaction speed as well. He vaulted over carts and animals in his way, through hole in buildings, jumped over people.
[12/50]
He had to run along the wall of a building to avoid a group of people. He jumped at the end of the run, rolling on the ground as he landed. Then, he simply kept moving without losing any time or momentum. That was one thing that he needed to keep at: the momentum. He had the strength, but not the ability to move it even more powerfully. With the movement behind the weight of his punches, he'd be able to crush anyone that threatened him, or enemies of Konoha.
[13/50]
He could feel it, him pushing his body to its max. He was beginning to see things clearly; his eyes were keeping up with his limbs. It was an amazing feeling. This must have been how his mentor felt; being able to combine running speed and a clear awareness of her surroundings. It was... awesome. A grin grew on his face as he grabbed hold of a pipe to swing off of to go from the street level to the rooftops. Now he could focus on leaping.

Nakaya Shouta [Genin] [ Explosion Release] [ Konoha]
Once he arrived in the streets the search was on. He walked over to a frequent of the streets, someone he remembered from back in the day when he and Tomo used to set people's hair on fire. Nakaya walked over to the lady, carrying bags of groceries like normal. Need a hand with that? he asked her, offering to take the bags from her. She smiled and thanked him, and the pair, elderly woman and young male, continued down towards her home. Do you know of the cat that escapes often? he asked getting right to the point. Who doesn't? I hear-I say-I hear he's escaped again. she said, her foghorn leghorn accent making him chuckle on the inside. I hear he's off on the other side of town, near the shoe store she continued as they reached her residence. Thanking her for the information and wishing her a fine day, Nakaya walked down the street, taking in what he knew. The shoe store isn't far from a lot of restaurants that sell fish. Possibilities raced through his mind. The cat could just be sneaking off to eat scraps of food, or possibly just liked the smells around town. Perhaps someone had fed him and he was returning for more food? All possibilities. [1/5]
Once he was near the shoe shop, Nakaya looked for signs of the cat. None of the ones around here had a ribbon on his ear. He would have to go deeper if he wanted to find the cat. This thought locked in the safe of his inner thoughts, Nakaya looked around until he found a sushi shop. Raw fish. He walked into the shop, and looked around. The many scents of his many favorite foods filled his nose. He looked around, he saw many people on their knees in front of tables, some waiting in line to get a table. Nakaya would walk to the counter, passing some wasabi on it's way to a table. He remembered the day the three of them decided to test who could eat the most sushi. Aoi backed off after two bites. Nakaya and Tomo went so long, that before they knew it they were in the hospital doubled over in pain. There was also the time the two both ate a plate of puffer fish. Luckily, neither of them got sick, but Tomo hated it's taste, and still ended up throwing up. So many good times had here. Hello ma'am, he began. Has a cat came here recently? Possibly around back begging for food? The lady at the counter smiled. Lost again is he? Nakaya nodded with a grin. Well, he hasn't come by here yet, but if he does we'll hold him here for you. Actually, Rio in the back says he saw him wandering down by the supermarket. Thanks, I appreciate it. he told the woman winking and then turning to leave. The lady at the counter, not a day over twenty five, smirked after him. She remembered him back from when he was just a small child, or rather when he was smaller. [2/5]

Takashi quickly moved through the streets again. Only a couple of more sessions to go... he could feel it. The wind was rushing through his hair more quickly, his eyes were able to pick up on more minute details. It wasn't adrenaline, but just his new reaction time. He really didn't know where he would stop, but he had a feeling he'd know when he would need to.
As he sprinted, he did the same things he had before: avoiding bystandards, leaping over obstacles, etc. However, the accuracy of his movements were far superior than that of his earlier movements. He grinned. He couldn't help it. He didn't feel faster, so much as more... aware. He knew exactly how to move to avoid just about everything in a moment's notice. He was still just a Genin, so he didn't have god-like speed, but he was becoming faster than most.
Only one thing left to hit on. He worked on his running speed, but his awareness needed a little more work. He sped off to the dojo, where he could do what he did best: pick a fight. Hopefully then he could find a worthy opponent to work on his reaction time even more, to bring it up to peak performance.

He could feel the swell of chakra signatures the moment he walked into the village, but hadn't realized the full scope of just how many people still inhabited Konoha, thought to be one of the most powerful of the villages for years. Even as weak as most of the villagers were, the sheer number of them kept him from spreading his sixth sense as far as he would have liked. Furrowing his brow, suddenly the arduousness of his task truly dawned on him, finding the bijuu would would be much harder than he had at first realized. My best option would be to visit with the Hyuuga of the village, surely at least one of them will be able to lead me in the right direction, Atsureki thought, his expression quickly returning to his usual arrogant smirk.
Stopping at one of the many food carts lining the bustling streets, Atsureki asked the man for directions to the Hyuuga compound and was quickly pointed towards a small bridge further up the street. Ronnel Kamisama [Genin] [Kamisama] [Konoha]
"To face the monsters in the darkness..."
Ronnel exited onto the village's streets and looked around, taking in the hustle and bustle of the town in the middle of the day. He took in a deep breath and looked around for some piece of trash, wondering what exactly would be in this area and not trampled under someone's feet. As he looked around he took in the differences between this place and the sleepy little collection of farmhouses that he had grown up in - this village was certainly more active than his home had ever been, even during the height of one of the festivals. His dark eyes lighted upon a wrapper, drifting in the wind. It had probably been taken off of a piece of candy that some child was eating, there certainly enough of those running about that it wasn't unlikely. The Genin strode after the trash quickly, catching it in one hand just before it blue into a shop, where it might have irritated a customer. He nodded to the shopkeeper, who waved at the teen, easily recognizing a shinobi given a task. Ronnel tucked the piece of trash into an empty pouch on his waist - he needed to figure out some way of getting more pouches, or some kind of storage seals, because at the rate he was going he wouldn't have any space left in the pouches he did have soon. As he turned around from the shop entrance, an empty bag smacked into his face, obscuring his sight. The young man's right hand twitched as he reached up and pulled the bag off of his face - it was made of cloth, but the quality was so poor that he was surprised that it hadn't fallen apart already. He sighed and tucked this into the same pouch as the candy wrapper as he headed over towards the library to begin his work.

Konaga Sai| Konaga Clan | Akatsuki | Jounin | RPC Profile | "I'm afraid I must deny your request Zenko. To leave Atsureki exposed to the enemy would only invite further interaction and more questioning then I would like. Likewise, his stay with us will further corroborate the story as to why we are here." Walking slowly, allowing Zenko to do as she wished on his arm to keep up appearances, Sai fought against the increased amount of pain his bloodline technique was subjecting him to and tried to locate the next place they should check for Jinchuuriki. His eye still heavily blurred however made finding a path much more difficult. However, considering the fact that he had been in this village before, namely in the time when he brought it's destruction, Sai closed his eyes, allowing Zenko to lead him through the crowds as he tried to recall a mental map of the village...
"The Hokage's Office would not be a place to show myself... but where would the most people be? The restaurants are so numerous, but their must be a favorite or famous restaurant we can check. The dormitories would also make for a good start, but the odds of gaining access to that building without some covert operations would be difficult." Opening his eyes once more, Sai turned to his partner, looking down at her hanging on his arm. Momentarily caught gazing at her beauty and form, Sai quickly realized that this is where Zenko would perform best, in gathering information from those around them.
"Zenko, I have need of your talents. We need to find a popular place in the village where people go. If ninja are not on the training grounds, they are either working on missions, or recovering. My guess would be that those who have been to the training grounds recently would need a meal of some kind. Every village has it's popular restaurants, so would you do me the favor of polling a few people in the crowd as to a popular choice so that we can continue our search?" Quite confident that Zenko could get a response from most anyone she spoke to, Sai trusted that they would soon be on to the next area and one step closer to their goal.

Ronnel Kamisama [Genin] [Kamisama] [Konoha]
"To face the monsters in the darkness..."
Ronnel cracked his neck as he stepped out onto the village street and looked around. He had an idea of where the next job was, so he could head in that direction without a problem. As he walked though, he remembered his initial job – picking up the trash on the streets. His eyes immediately began sweeping back and forth, searching for litter on his home streets. While he didn’t know anyone here yet, that didn’t stop him from being able to help keep the city streets clean. As he walked down the street, he did spot several pieces of paper that had been crumpled together and tossed aside, as if someone had finished using them and thrown them away without caring where they landed. The young Genin shook his head with a sad sigh – that someone could toss aside a resource like paper so callously was disheartening to the young man. He headed over to the papers and picked them up, unfurling them as he stood up from bending over to retrieve them. The teen blinked as he looked at one side of the papers, then immediately sighed and shook his head, now even more saddened by the way these papers had been treated. It wasn’t just that they were paper – they were love letters, affectionate writing from the heart, and the recipient had apparently considered them absolutely valueless. He folded them up neatly and tucked them into one of his pouches, intending on disposing of them in a more appropriate manner later. Ronnel Kamisama [Genin] [Kamisama] [Konoha]
"To face the monsters in the darkness..."
Ronnel found the house where it was apparent what needed to be done - weeds had overtaken the entire lawn, leaving not enough space for even a single flower to bloom. The young Genin headed up the front steps to the door and rapped on it sharply, his knuckles striking the wood with a quick repetition. A moment's pause and the door was answered by an elderly gentlemen who was shaking with palsy. After explaining why he was here, Ronnel was told by the old man that it wasn't just the front lawn, but also the rear one. The teen nodded his recognition of that fact then smiled politely at the old man as he went back inside his house. With the information the elderly man had given him, Ronnel started tearing weeds from the soil of the front lawn, stacking them into as neat a pile as he could manage as he worked. It was hot work, with the afternoon sun beating down on him as he ripped the stubborn roots from the ground, but the Genin persevered and kept working.

Ronnel Kamisama [Genin] [Kamisama] [Konoha]
"To face the monsters in the darkness..."
Ronnel was now grimy - his gloves and the lower ends of his jacket sleeves had become coated in dirt and mud, along with thorny weed pieces that had stuck to his clothing as he pulled them from the earth. He stood up and clapped his hands, knocking some of the dust loose from his gloves, then looked at the yard he had been working in. It was more than halfway cleared of weeds thanks to his progress, and the bare dirt did look more inviting than the choking weeds had. The weeds he had removed so far were sitting in several piles around the edge of the yard - near the places the teen had knelt down as he worked, disdaining carrying an evergrowing stack around the yard with him as he cleared the garden. He stretched out his arms, which were beginning to ache slightly - even working this long was nothing compared to his old farm life, so this was just a task he was more than suited to. With a shrug and a sigh the teen resumed tearing the weeds from the earth, trying to compress the stacks of uprooted weeds as much as he could as he worked. When he finished here Ronnel would ask the old man if he had a mulching bin or something like it, and if not, then these would make acceptable fodder for some of the cows and other grazing animals he had seen around the village.

Ronnel Kamisama [Genin] [Kamisama] [Konoha]
"To face the monsters in the darkness..."
Ronnel hoisted up the weed bundle - he had taken one of the longer weeds and tied it around the others, making a convenient little package that he could grab with one hand - and placed it on top of several similar bundles. He had finished up in the front yard now, and there was a sizable pile of weeds against one wall of the house, where Ronnel was stacking them to keep them out of the way. The former farmer rolled his shoulders as he set down the last of the bundles of weeds and stepped back - the front yard was now finished, but there was still the rear yard to deal with. Keeping that in mind, the teen strode around the house, then faltered in midstep. The rear garden was much, much smaller than the front had been. That was the reverse of what the Genin was used to - where he had lived, the rear gardens were usually better called farm plots, and could feed a family of five or six easily. This one made him wonder if the man hadn't gotten his directions mixed up, but with a shrug he set to work anyway, removing the weeds from the tiny rear garden.
