Even if you listen to all kinds of music, there is one genre that has to be your main.
For me, I listen to a lot of pop and techno, but if I could only listen to one genre for the rest of my life, country all the way.

I was with you when you said techno... I have my Pandora set to play pretty much mostly Euro Techno/ Pop, with some oddities mixed in.
I'd totally listen to that all-the-time-non-stop, but Alas, i only have 40 hours a month free, which i consistently use up by the 19th :C

Alternative Rock is my main genre I feel more sexually attracted to, but I listen to all types of music really. Although, I really do not like country that much. Also, I absolutely ******** hate any form of crunkcore.

I have a pretty wide taste, but my party music and my listening music couldn't be more opposite. Lots of Electronic Dance music, lots of stuff in the tool/APC range, lots of hip-hop, some rap, and recently a good amount of pop.
P.S. Imma shoot the next person who uses "techno" to describe electronica/EDM... Techno is a pretty specific genre of electronic music.

Ska punk is tits. I like hardstyle. I abuse iTunes's hardstyle radio station (because TN has no hardstyle) I like groove metal and thrash metal, as well as good ol' rock. Ska punk's my #1 though.

Is "soundtrack" a genre?
Most of my playlist consists of anime, video game, or errata soundtrack music (like the theme from Casino Royale is pretty bitchin). Music that might not be specifically soundtrack music was probably something I heard while somebody was being badass in a movie or television show.
Although I do enjoy that opera singer + metal stuff the goth kids kick around. ninja
