Hello, my freaky friends! I'm Shade, and I'm 17. As of yesterday me and my girlfriend became official, but before that I'd been a year single (as of two days ago).

I'm an insomniac with various disorders and problems, according to the doctors. But, let's face it. I'm a freak.

I'm friendly, but I have my problems. Massive mood swings. Online, though, the most I show of this is a pissed off rant or complaining somewhere.

I like to write, and I hope I'll be able to set up my RP here, and have it live. We'll see.


I'm a gamer, and I get on the computer just about every day.

I love Manga, and books. I watch anime. Not much tv, though.

I listen to so much music, I often wonder if I'll go deaf, or if I should just implant an MP3 player into my skull. From time to time I enjoy classical, and Jazz. Mainly, I listen to Scremo, Alternative, Rock, various kinds of Metal, depressing stuff, and, lastly, Techno/Trance.

Actually I'm too lazy to write something now but I can't be bothered to do anything else, either, so I figured, I might as well say hello.

I'm 20, turning 21 on June 21. My eyes are blue, my hair is blonde, my skin is of a rosy white. YAY for me! Oh, yeah, I have freckles. xP
163cm small. I don't know how much I weigh cause, honestly, I don't give a damn and won't spend money on something as useless as scales. But I think I'm okay. hehe
Oh, my hair used to be as long as to my hips but then I let them cut it off! MWAHAHAHA. -.- It's still long, though.
Since I'm from Germany I speak German, but obviously also English, quite good French, some Spanish (more passive than active) and I can understand quite a bit of Portuguese but I couldn't make a decent sentence. lol I'll study some more Spanish and French at uni the next semesters cause I've got nothing to do (why else would I be hanging around gaia and facebook all day. xP). Oh, speaking of which, I study Economics at university.
Well, I listen to alternative and indie stuff, post-punk and its revival, post-rock, ambient, electronic, lo-fi, ... yeah, uhm, some folk but not much. xD Oh and classical music, well, I love it and am very happy about my neighbour studying the piano at uni. <3 Awesome to wake up to!
I currently don't have a boyfriend, cause around here there are only jerks, boring normal people and/or people who just don't have a taste in music (not even a bad one! DX ). But I do have the hots for someone living in my hometown (damn me for moving away). XD I'm probably too shy to tell him, though, cause last time I did that (some other guy it was), the person refused and said we should would stay friends but actually started ignoring me.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.... My hobbies include but are not limited to listening to beautiful sounds, drawing (I have a stupid dA account and an art shop but you wouldn't want to buy from me anyway >: ), reading devouring books and manga, hanging around on the intrawebs and... well, hanging out with friends if I happen to be where they all live (*headdesks for moving away*). I used to play tennis; and the violin but last time I wanted to play one of the strings tore and I haven't gotten around to letting someone repair it yet. Also... I have no money. XD
Blah, yeah... I'm an Environmentalist and am Vegetarian and if I didn't live in this goddamn place with those goddman people I could be more than a part time ( = at home) vegan. (like today, someone tricked me into eating 5 (small) muffins containing eggs! EW! she said she wouldn't use them. X_x when she said there were eggs in them I started feeling sick. XD there was also butter in there but eggs are my arch-enemies, seconded by dairy products XD).

Hello all, I'm ninjaingaround or just ninja for short. I don't give out my real name over the net due to my extreme paranoia with the subject.

I am 20 going on 12 and am attending a tiny college with a campus that can be crossed in ten minutes, hills and a bad gimp included. I'm majoring in Zoology and minoring in English, which has lead to furthering my inner grammar Nazi. It has gotten to the point where illiteracy, especially text talk, irritates me more than any other proverbial thorn in the side.

Though I am supposed to be an adult and have many adult responsibilities linked to my job, I still refuse to grow up. I'll watch a cartoon over some reality show, unless it's something on the Discovery Channel. I've decided to become a big kid that can do grown up things some of the time. I enjoy roleplaying simply because it keeps my writing skills sharp and it gives me a way to play pretend without being entirely childish.

As for my freak classification, that is a difficult subject to broach. I have several little idiosyncrasies that, when lumped together, can make me fit the definition of freak by the standards of other people. To start off, my avatar is male but in real life I am female. There really wasn't any reason for this other than a whim and once I started roleplaying on Gaia, I found that my tendency to play males cemented my decision to keep my male avatar. I enjoy writing and talking to ravens, who make excellent conversationalists. If I see a grasshopper leap across my path, I'm usually compelled to follow or attempt to capture it. The same goes for dragonflies. I love rescuing snails from the sidewalk of death after a good rain and typically relocate them in the grassy area they are headed for. I enjoy several kinds of music, but Irish music and pieces by Alexander Borodin will always hold a special place in my heart. I have been called amusing, enjoyable and, a complete nerd on several occasions and these are all titles that I wear proudly. I have a general dislike for subjects focused entirely on romance and prefer my vampires to burst into flames the second they walk into the sunlight. I tried giving Twilight an honest chance, but the shortcomings of the writing and the general theme were far too much for my liking. Give me Jules Verne any day.

So there you have it. I am supposed to be an adult and a proper young woman. I am a college student and a little kid. I am a cartoon fanatic and a zoology lover. I am an unintentional ninja. I am me.
