One time it was 2010. Another time it was 2000 and I heard another say 2020. So I'm pretty sure it won't end

I doubt it will. Yellowstone is overdue for its super eruption, but I don't think that matters much... I seriously doubt that alone will kill us all.
In the 1970s or so, a comet was supposed to crash into Earth and wipe us out like the dinosaurs were.
In 2000, all technology was supposed to crash or something and kill us all.
In 2012, isn't it like all the weather is supposed to turn bad or something? Like mass flooding and a surplus of hurricanes?
In the 2020s (I think 2026?), a huge meteor is supposed to hit Earth.
As for the Mayan calendar ending on December 2012, well, the Mayans had to end it SOMEWHERE, didn't they? No one person can just sit there and write out a calendar... they would've probably needed to help out the tribe.
And like Second Sunday said, there's no use in worrying about it, because we really can't do anything. All we can really do is live our life happily and like there's no tomorrow!

I think the Mayans said 2012, because that's when their calendar stopped. We're not sure if the scribe was interrupted, killed, or something else. The Mayans' traditions scare me. eek
