Old Carter Underground Old Carter Subway Station is one of Carter City's smaller stations. Outside the gates, several automated ticket vendors sit outside, screens blank due to the loss of power throught Carter City. On the other side of the gates are two platforms. The tunnel runs north and south. The north-bound passage curves slightly to stop at the Manabu Seido Building, while the south-bound passage loops around east to connect to the housing development station. The only light is the dull red emitted by the emergency fixtures, powered by a backup generator hidden away somewhere. The tunnels are roughly 15 feet wide, and 14 feet tall, and contain parallel-running tracks. An occasional train sits on the tracks, allowing for varied cover. The third rail is dead.

Espyn descended the last steps to the underground subway sytem, long abandoned and probably not forgotten, since he of all people could find it. The darkness was only implaed by the stench of older workers, dust, rust, and by the faint luminating pulse by a dull light over wherever. There were screens, boothes, nothing really that interested him. However it was chilly and uninhabited, just the way he'd like this.
Now all there was to do was wait for his team members, he'd only met a few of them, so it'd be wise to stay on guard incase someone other thana comrade came down, or if a teammember attacked him for lack of knowledge..

Gabriel stood motionless, his back pressed up against the train that lay stationary at rail two. The dull glow of crimson light flooded the inside of the train, which in turn cast the light against Gabriel's back. This resulted in the front of his body being completely encased in shadow, throwing a veil of anonymity about the mercenary. His hair hung down in front of his face, his eyes hidden beneath the lenses of his sunglasses.
As if on cue, a man strolled down the final stairs leading to the terminal
"Glad people are deciding to show up on time..." he shook his head, muttering to himself before lifting his right hand to his face. Absentmindedly, he began to chew on the corner of the nail, spitting out a small amount of cartiledge once it had been successfully removed from the larger whole. Gabriel's hand lowered to his thigh, which was raised due to the position of his boot against the train. There his fingers grazed the side of his pistol, finding solace in the coolness of the metal placed there.
After the brief moment of solace, Gabriel walked forward, extending his hand to the newcomer.
"Name's Gabriel. Looks like we'll be hunting together."

The steady hum of an engine ate away at the silence which permeated the station, making no motion to mask it's presence. The tires thudded along each step, even as the bike made it's way further down into the train station.
The rider became jarred by each step naturally, as one wouldn't normaly ride a motorcycle on them, let alone down them. The power was out... as it was in much of the city, so it was a bit odd to travel around the city, but not something he was not used to. The dull red glow of his cigarette stood out harshly, along with the main lamp of his harley, which cut a nice path for him to see.
However.... how he ended up in Carter City... and for what reasons... well, that's a tale for another time. He brought his bike to a slow halt, as he approached the main gates and turnstiles, with the two platforms on the opposite ends.
Someone stood there, illuminated by the light from his harley's lamp.
"Well, damn. Did I miss the train?"

A shadowy figure in a large black robe slowly descended the subway stairs, large bulky scythe in hand. A small smirk came upon his face as he surveyed the scene and smelt the stench of the place, and silently approached the other man. Suddenly, a pale arm reached onto the other man's shoulder, and an amused voice spoke. "I assume you're from Team Newface?"

(( Sorry if I'm slow, gotta deal with muh baby. ))
The young boy looked at him, taking in his shadowed features, part of them hidden against the motionless train that lay on the dead tracks beneath it. Espyn flicked his head to the side, displacing his vibrant blue hair that was dank and colournless in this realm, however revealing his solid slate eyes, a glacier-ish shade that glistened in the world of grey about him.
Outstretching his own palm, Espyn grasped Gabriel's and shook it firmly. "I am Espyn, and yes you will be hunting with me."
He looked to his side and saw another stranger, presumably a member of the coagulation as well. Espyn was new to this city so everyone wa a stranger, but this one was like one he'd never seen before. With a certain... unidentifiable mist to his appearance tainted with an ember glow that was so rarely seen in people during the latter passing days.

Espyn grimaced at the touch, not because it was gross or malviolent or anything, but simply because he didn't like being touched from behind... especially by those who smelt of mildew and rags. The youth narrowed his hollow eyes and whispered.
"I assume you're going to remove your hand from my shoulder?" His retort was rather direct, but the touch of someone so foreign was just that as well. That made what now? Four of them? How many more were to go? And when would they decide to move out of this shadowy prison and hunt the infernal metallic menaces...
Espyn didn't know.

"Nice to meet ya."
And so the team had assembled at last. Quite an interesting combination, to say the least of it. He found his gaze turn away from the younger male, his shaded eyes turning their attention upon the cloaked figure that descended the stairs following the motorcycle and had decided to place a hand upon Gabriel's newest acquaintance.
"Well, aren't we a diverse little group?"
He followed the statement with a charismatic grin, to show the rest of the assembly that no offense was intended by the statement.
"I suppose taking the train wasn't such a good idea in hindsight, huh?"
Gabe jerked his thumb towards the stationary cars behind him, turning his head to gaze over his shoulder to complete the gesture.
"Guess we're on foot from here on out. Or are we waiting for anyone?"

Zen entered the subway system in long strides, skipping two or three steps with every small leap. He landed on the dusty tiles with a echoing clack, he he raised from his kneeling position with headphones hanging around his neck and blarring with rock music. "So is this the whole team?" Zen questioned, he looked about to see his leader, Mr. Peeyon or Payton or something, sitting atop a motorcycle. Hid head lamps glared onto another member of his team, but the only name he remembered was Vahn's, at first glimpse they were the only member's noticeable, but the reflection of light off of the third member's glasses made it clear that another member stood in the shadows.
((BTW, sorry this took so long, had to run out the trash sweatdrop ))

Majei was sent hurtling through the darkness, this was the end of his. Or the beginning of another story. He hit pavement. From the lighting he immediately realised that he was underground. Jumping to his feet, he drew his sword and brandished it towards the many figures surrounding him.
'Who are you people!?' He shouted to them, hoping in this strange place they spoke his language. Getting almost angry with fear and confusion, he pointed his blaster to the nearest person. And screamed half in tears, half in anger at him. 'Where am I!? Tell me now!'
Hitting him that this was not the best tactic to these people if they were civilised, he dropped to his knees and buried his face in the floor, ashamed to show his tears.
He thought he would be released. And this is what he got. Was this the true hell? Was the Black Fortress just a sharade? Fear, Curiosity and Anger all pounded through his head at the same time, forcing him to scream out loud because of actual physical pain.

The figure's smirk grew wider, and he casually removed his hand from the youth's shoulder. "With pleasure." He looked around at the rest of the group, apparently amused by the diversity of its members. "Diverse indeed." He turned around to look at the newest addition to their group, then looked around to the man on the bike. "That's a good question. Is this it?" Just as he repeated the question, he spun around to face yet another youth who had suddenly appeared in their company, and his smirk grew wider still. "Sounds like someone had a rocking party last night," he mocked. ((Sorry for my slow pace, too. sweatdrop ))

Majei's arrival was, to say the least, unexpected. His casual demeanor faded away as the male drew a weapon upon them, and it disappeared altogether when he demanded answers from them. Without much thought, Gabriel's right hand drew down to his thigh, thumbing aside the leather strap that secured his sidearm to the pantleg. Within an instant, the weapon was raised and Gabriel was staring down the sights, directly at the new arrival's chest.
"I suggest you explain yourself, stranger."
As soon as Majei fell to his knees, however, Gabriel felt a pang of regret within his stomach, which was soon overshadowed by the realization of added help in this particular mission. He lowered his weapon, glancing to the other members of the congregation before making any sort of action.

"......" Yellowed eyes looked over the small assemblance, taking note of each individual, before he slumped forward, arms resting along the handlebars. He figured it would be alright for the majority of them to get the introductiosn out of the way as fast as possible, since they were each here for one reason or another; of course it didn't occur to him it was most likely the obvious reason: robot hunting.
He didn't know much of what to make of the other newcomer, coming in as he did. "Well... we're off to a wonderful start."
Disorganized as hell, thrown together without a care, and now in a station as desolate as the man that was breaking down.
(( First thing's first, let's establish a posting order. ))

The arrival of the mysteriously emotional male from the shadows caused a brow to instantly raise on Zen's head. A gung-ho attitude overcame Zen, most likely from the music he had playing, and when the figure drew weapons onto the party, Zen smirked as if it were a game, not worrying too much seeing how so many outcomes would be the case if his weapons were fired, or attempted anyways.
