I do love RP and I decide to have a home base to house characters and their assorted plottings. There will be a post for each of my characters, a short bit about them, et cetera. Take your pick of the litter and let me know what you want to do with 'em!

Personality: Uroru loves to listen, ranging from other people conversing, to the hustle and bustle out in the market, or the rain pattering gently overhead. Initially when in a new place, or when surrounded by those he isn’t familiar with, he quietly observes the situation before forming an opinion on how to react to his surroundings. Provided that the opinion he forms of a new person or circumstance is a good one, Uroru opens right up, speaking warmly and in familiar terms. He is an amiable sort who enjoys hearing out others problems and offering an outside view of the issue. He has the habit of making himself readily available to everyone who could need him, while he hesitates to share his own thoughts and feelings with others unless he is very familiar with them. He hesitates when others ask him how he is feeling and what his worries are, preferring to bite his tongue and let them believe that is nothing to worry about. Sometimes he simply doesn’t acknowledge what he is feeling or what his problem/difficulty is until someone points it out to him directly in bold black and white. Uroru isn’t very good at handling surprises, sometimes staring like a deer in the headlights, so to speak, or rambling on in search of the proper words to express his surprise, be it good or bad.
Uroru is a generally calm soul who is slow to anger. When trouble starts brewing or if things look like they are going to sour, he runs as many possible scenarios through his mind so that he could come up with to come to a resolution that would be suited for as many people as possible, or at least let himself or his party get out with as little harm as could be reasonably managed. He isn't the sort to leap before he looks. Uroru is self-confident to the point where insults and jeers, if any are ever directed at him, roll off his back without any trouble. He carries himself with a degree of noted self-assuredness and enjoys facing new challenges. But, he doesn’t have ungodly amounts of tolerance. If all manner of stresses from various sources all mount up on his shoulders in a short period of time Uroru has been known to suffer the occasional breakdown which usually involves him disappearing on a walk to some unknown destination until he’s had a chance to clear his head and sort things out. Uroru is a fairly honest person, who doesn’t like mince words.
When in the presence of elders or ladies, Uroru is respectful and calm, a fact that usually masks his nervousness around them. Around guys his own age, maybe a little older or younger, he acts chummy and a bit goofy. He likes being around others and being kept busy. If he has nothing to do, he tends to sulk until something catches his interest. Overall, he is energetic and ready and willing to offer a hand to a task or cause that he finds suitable. His view on things is quite optimistic. Uroru doesn’t come off as a necessarily happy person, but more content with himself and interested on handling what is necessary for him to have a happy future. (Unfortunately, he mostly spends his time thinking and worrying about his day to day needs and things. He’s content with himself at present so doesn’t really fret over his future, which is another sort of sensitive subject when it is brought up.) It’s hard to keep him down for a prolonged period of time.

The Dragon:
Name: Atosith
Color: Blue
Personality: Atosith’s world is one great cloud with no silver lining. He’s a complete homebody, there’s absolutely nothing that could encourage him to get out of his weyr (except perhaps, the promise of a good bath). He’s not friendly simply because he isn’t social. He’d not rather watch, he just wouldn’t prefer to be there. At all. Atosith doesn’t deal well with confrontation, either. He will do anything he can to get himself out of a fight and strike back only as the very last of resorts. This little blue is not violent, not in the least.
Just because Atosith doesn’t fight back doesn’t mean he lets it go! This grumpy little dragon can hold some of the longest grudges you’ve ever seen, especially considering a dragon’s memory span. His seems to be a little longer than average and is much quicker to pull up things if his rider mentions them. Of course, it’s not easy to injure the dragon…he just doesn’t forgive attempts, either. Farnath help those who actually bruise his pride.
He is very rarely a happy fellow and has no problem voicing this to anyone who will listen, mainly, his rider. For all his talking, he doesn’t listen very well. He doesn’t grump, Atosith simply complains and fails to do anything about it. He is a very sulky dragon, but there is something that can bring out a brighter side in him. Water! Bath time and swim time are Atosith’s favorite things in the whole wide world!
As far as mating goes, Atosith is fairly unmotivated. Why bother if he’s just going to be rejected, right? But if his rider should ever encourage him enough to fly and he should catch a female, Atosith is a very loyal male. He will try to stick to the same female, so his rider best be sure when he sends Atosith off.

Personality: Alhambra is a gal who doesn’t know how to do things part way. She feels with everything she’s got, works hard, and plays hard. She is outgoing, competitive, energetic, and loyal. She can be wickedly protective over her friends and those few possessions that she holds near and dear to her heart. Whenever she gets around people, it is a safe bet that she will have a big smile or grin on her face. (An expression that is somewhat of a trademark of hers. It is seldom that folks see her looking sad or upset, as she is generally optimistic and likes letting those she knows think of her as the strong one to go to if they are feeling blue.) Alhambra loves a good chat and a friendly competition. (She may be competitive, but she doesn’t let losing get her down. She can always get ‘em back next time!) Definitely a daytime person, Alhambra loves being about in the morning and in the warm afternoon and early evening. She starts to calm down into a somewhat more chill version of herself as the sun begins to sink behind the horizon. While she still emotes fully, instead of having enough energy to do laps through the Weyr, she is more likely to be seen just hanging out with friends, studying, and generally enjoying herself in the company of others. She enjoys being around people too much to let herself be alone for too long. If bored or feeling lonesome, she heads off to find the largest group of people to mingle and socialize.

-She has a bit of an unfortunate habit of developing crushes on straight girls.
-Either doesn’t realize when she’s violating someone’s personal space, or chooses to ignore it. (She has been known to sit or stand very close to those she’s fond of. Even so far as to drape herself across a lap or over a back. Or maybe steal a kiss if she’s feeling particularly amorous or mischievous.)
-If given the chance, she would prefer to sleep snuggled up against someone. (Think like a puppy. The less space there is between, the better.)
-She has some basic cooking skill from being around her mother and uncle.
Plots:
~ If you'd like to have your straight girl to have a lesbian admirer, Alhambra is your gal! Let me know. I think it'd be a fun scenario to play out. xD (This could extend from everything from mild flirting to a stolen kiss. -le gasp- The scandal!) I agree. Their combined energy and enthusiasm will leave the Weyr spinning. They'd definitely be an interesting pair. His tendency to try and avoid tough problems and Alhambra's 'must get it done' mentality could be a fun thing to deal with.

I'm writing up his search intro right now (it'll be an actual RP, not a solo RP) so we could wait until that one is done, (which may take awhile) or I can assume a few details and time-skip ahead a bit so he's in the Weyr?

*rubs chin* I'm mostly debating whether his state of muse-mind will change at all after the search RP (for continuity's sake.) *ponders*
I don't think it should overly much, so time-skip it is~! Would you mind starting though? Sev's likely to wander anywhere and everywhere in his first week at the Weyr, but I'm not sure where the best place for him to run into Alhambra would be. mrgreen heart heart heart

Sure. I wouldn't mind starting. ^^ Alhambra roams everywhere too, so the whole Weyr's fair game. She'd probably be outside, reveling in the sunshine. (Not sunbathing so much, her skin is sort of naturally dark tan, but just being active.)

....Okay, just gotta say that Lanakirene, her cuddlebug dragon, and Alhambra might be the world's most terrifying match ever.
La's kind of........(semi-inadvertently) collecting all the lesbians in the Weyr as friends, so yeah. Alhambra could/should totally be a part of it. XD
