As far as experiences go, I saw my first shiny in Leaf Green. It was a Rapidash <3 And my favorite Pokemon is Altaria! Big cloud bird dragon-type ftw =D

My first shiny was surprisingly a Wurmple in Sapphire. It evolved into a Dustox though... D:
My favorite Pokemon? Does James count?

My first shiny was in Diamond =D Actually, my Diamond game is pretty epic. I got a shiny Starly in the beginning of the game (and traded it to my best friend), and then on Victory Road I ran into a shiny Machoke (named HULK ANGRY). Also, from that egg that hatches into a Riolu? The Pokérus.
Ninetails and Rapidash are my favorite shinys. I just wish I had one.

I think the first one I caught was a Metapod, sadly enough.
Oh, and I named my Heatran 'Twinkie'. I got really frustraited at that cave and told my friend, "The next pokemon I run into I will catch and name Twinkie!'. Sadly, I ran into no other Pokemon until Heatran.

Flying Purple Moose .... is Obligatory. Serriously, just post your pokemon experiences here, Red and Blu through Platinum, and the upcoming HeartGold and SoulSilver! Fee free to post friend codes here as well. ((1k to whoever can figure out the reference in this post)) Are you referring to the reference to /b/ (as in Longcat is loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong, Obvious Troll is Obvious, etc.)? Also, first starter ever was Bulbasaur. Happiest Pokemon experience ever was on Netbattle (for those of you that have heard of it). Having a Tyranitar score a critical hit on (and subsequently KO) a +6 Evasion, +6 Speed, and +6 Sp. Atk. boosted Espeon (There was a lot of Baton Passing involved) RIGHT after the guy said something to the effect of "You should give up, because you're probably not going to win now." Ah, Karma. Or would that be poetic justice? Current favorite Pokemon are Raichu and Rukario Though outside of individuals, I'd say Fighting and Grass are my two favorite types.

I cannot wait for Heart Gold and Soul Silver! Gold/Silver/Crystal was totally the best arc. I ran into a shiny Swinub on my old Silver cartridge but I'd JUST filled my last box slot with a Jynx gonk
On the other hand, that Jynx was BADASS. She carried me all the way through the Elite Four.

I wasn't referring specifically to Longcat, it's just the general formula (not sure if I'd count it as a meme, though), of "Adjective Noun is Adjective" Insert whatever adjective and noun you want, rinse, repeat, cash the friggin' check.

Nha, it's not that either. Perhaps the people who play it a lot are just so used to seeing it that way.

My favorite pokemon is Mew (of course. 3nodding ). My first shiny pokemon... it was a Duskull. I don't remember which game, though. I think Diamond, not too sure.
I just played Platinum, got to the battle frontier. I don't really like the battle frontier much, sorry. sweatdrop But I enjoyed the game overall.
My favorite game is Crystal. I don't really know why, I just enjoyed it the most. I CANNOT WAIT FOR HEARTGOLD AND SOULSILVER!! biggrin
