I don't know how much of a sci-fi movie goer everyone is but this just looks too cool to pass up. They are making a new Tron movie for 2010, and the trailer is just awesome in my option.

Well, the FX look good, but that trailer doesn't tell me about the story. Is it a sequel or a remake? surprised

Wait, wait, wait! I thought the main character of Tron got out in the original movie? How can he still be stuck in it for this sequel?
As for the trailer well the special effects look very nice and they didn't lack there to give it that Tron feel. However, I have one complaint so far the motor cycle things couldn't curve they could only go in straight lines so it was more calculating. Other then that it still holds the same feel of Tron and the same look so I may look into this more when it comes closer to its time of release.

...well....he could of returned, I dont know, I'm sure they'll explained that in the movie. But you are correct he did escape the computer in the first one.
As for the light cycles, I think it would be more challenging to curve, besides it didn't look like they were playing a game. It looked like they were traveling around in the sorta outside virtual world.

What the s**t. I'm not that much younger than Racer, and I had no clue Tron even existed until I played Kingdom Hearts 2 and Racer told me generally what Tron was. Unfortunately, this won't be very meaningful to me since I don't really have that nostalgic connection to the original. I've never even seen the original. x_x
