blow me away
Name: F’sey (Formerly Feseyander) Age: 43 Sex: Male Orientation: Homosexual Weyrmate: C'ren Rank: Weyrlingmaster Physical Description: F’sey is a smaller man, standing a few inches below most men. He’s not only shorter, he’s lithe, whip-cord lean. He’s not skinny, he’s just not a well-built man, either. His hair is a deep reddish-brown and shaggy, though the rest of him is well kempt. (It’s been a really bad day if he’s got some facial fuzz going on.) His facial features are sharp, his eyes are a dull greenish-grey and his face is always set in a scowl. He does not give off a friendly aura, and that’s the way he likes it.
Personality: F’sey is a force to be reckoned with. He’s angry, stand-offish and does not like people in his personal space bubble. He really does not like people in his space bubble. The man just doesn’t want to be bothered with other peoples’ woes; he finds almost everything anyone could complain about petty and insignificant. The only people F’sey is decent with are the Weyrfolk he grew up with and his Weyrlings (past and present, both).
This is not to say F’sey is vain, because he isn’t. He doesn’t consider himself more important than any other rider and doesn’t spend a great deal of time on his physical appearance. Yes, he is proud, he is very proud, but he doesn’t place himself on a pedestal. Complainers and whiners ruffle his feathers because they are just making words, and as far as F’sey is concerned, action is the only course to take when something is wrong. He is a leader, as far as personalities are concerned, even if his dragon’s not a bronze or a brown.
As far as the Weyrlings are concerned, F’sey is much more careful with the youth of the Weyr. They are his pride and joy, even if the eggs were lain by someone else and, eventually, they will grow up to ride in someone else’s wing. ( He will never admit this out loud, not to anyone.) F’sey considers the Weyrlings an extension of himself. He has been around for a while and he feels like he has heard enough, witnessed enough, and lived through enough to be able to teach what needs to be taught. He is proud and demands respect to those he imparts wisdom upon, but as long as someone is honestly trying, he cannot fault them in that.
While it may be a lost cause, F’sey does try to impress his own personal guideline (actions speak louder than words) upon the Weyrlings while he still has them. He only has them for a limited time and there are only so many things he can teach them it that time. He needs to teach them how to survive and help Pern survive, most importantly, but far be it from him to leave it at that. There are so many other things he could offer advice on, if only they asked questions. F’sey loves questions. Well, to clarify, he loves intelligent questions. Asking F’sey how to oil your dragon because you were to busy flirting with that handsome bronze standing beside you after he explained it for the third time is a very easy way to get him to yell.
And thus, we approach the tricky territory known as F’sey’s patience. He has the experience and the sense, but patience? The man has no tolerance for idiocy. He’s exceptionally critical of adults, especially those in charge of others, but when he comes to his Weyrlings, he finds himself a little more relaxed. ( As far as F’sey is concerned, they are his from the moment their dragons hatch until the moment they are assigned a wing. ) As stated before, as long as someone is trying, F’sey cannot fault them for that. When someone puts themselves, their dragon, or others at risk? Batten down the hatches, folks, because someone is about to get one hell of a tongue-lashing. F’sey cannot stand stupidity, especially when someone’s well-being (mental or physical) is put at stake.
History: Feseyander, like so many before him, and so many after him, was born to a young rider and love-struck drudge. Neither had time to raise a small child, so Feseyander was raised by the Headwoman with all the other Weyrbrats. Early childhood proved to be nothing exciting.
As he grew, Feseyander started to prove to be a complete terrorist as a child. He was a bully, for the long and short of it. Smaller than the other boys, he felt he had to make it up in toughness. He had his fair share of black eyes, busted lips and broken fingers, all accompanied by a very stern talking-to from the Headwoman. He relaxed a little when he hit the teen years, thought it didn’t stop the occasional feud from boiling over into a fist fight.
Feseyander was Searched a little later than most and stood twice before he Impressed green Ialluth at age nineteen. It was very quickly established that dragon riders are not allowed to fight amongst themselves and F’sey’s rivalries were reduced to sharp words and nasty pranks. Of course, the Weyrlingmaster had something to say about those too, and F’sey’s quest to become the lord of the Weyrlings (think king of the hill) was quickly squashed. He had to settle for ‘that bitchy greenrider you don’t want to tangle with’.
F’sey’s life continued without any major events for another few Turns, until a rather fancy blue caught his Ialluth. F’sey met X’doc, an impossible man with a sharp wit and a charming grin, and inevitably, he was tamed by pretty blue eyes and a winning personality. It took a while, but the pair became mates, and his blue Hesoth was the only one who flew Ialluth. Well, that was, until an accident took X’doc from Pern. X’doc was never known for his good habits and it would not be a stretch to say he did not oil his harness as often as he should. During a Search flight, X’doc was bringing some prospective candidates to the Weyr. Heading back to the Hold, the harness finally gave while Hesoth was landing and X’doc fell to his death. Hesoth jumped between and was never seen again.
F’sey has not taken a mate since (not one for keeps, he can’t help what Ialluth does when she Rises), even though it has been well over ten turns since the accident. He doesn’t speak of it and does not speak of X’doc unless the man is brought up by someone else. F’sey never made a big deal out of it, leaving some to wonder if he even cared. F’sey was never very public with any emotion other than anger, however, so it would be hard to guess. He only became a Weyrlingmaster five Turns ago, but the man heartily enjoys the job (even though he’d never admit that). It goes without saying he hasn’t had to deal with a blooding yet, but once Thread falls, F’sey is quite sure he and his Weyrlings will be ready for it.
Of course, he'd never be the Weyrlingmaster if not for C'ren, and this in and of itself was, perhaps, one of the most important events in F'sey's life. They met on the beach one day, mostly through the meddling of their greens and became roommates. They were friendly (as in, friendly for F'sey and C'ren) and began to hang out together. Bringing flits to the hatching (they were just in the stands, shardit!) led the pair to S'kagi, who assigned them to nightwatch. Nightwatch led to some kissing, but F'sey traded nightwatch to relieve S'kagi of Weyrling duty. F'sey loves his job.
For whatever reason, relations continued between F'sey and C'ren. It wasn't until F'sey was stuck with the flu, his care was particularly severe, that the pair was finally forced to face what they tangled themselves in. At that point, it was far too late to change anything. F'sey and C'ren were weyrmates, despite F'sey's promises to himself all those turns ago. Pets: F’sey has two fire lizards, blue Cloud and bronze Song. Both flits were appropriately named, Cloud is an air-head and often needs to be herded back by Song. Song, the older of the pair, is a very vocal fire lizard, often chittering and chirping from his place on F’sey’s shoulder.
Other/Talents: Do not touch F’sey if you like your hand where it is. :3 Unless your name is C'ren, that gives you permission.

where are you now?
Name: Ialluth Color: Green Physical Description: Ialluth is a very small green, well-suited to twisting and turning in the skies. She’s a very mottled green, like the canopy of a forest. Ialluth is always clean, she likes to be proud of how she looks and F’sey hardily agrees with that sentiment. A lovely dragon like herself should look her best!
Personality: You know what they say, opposites attract! Ialluth is a very bright beast, slow to action and slow to anger. She’d much rather think it over before she leaps. She knows Hers and his temper and does her best to keep him from getting into sticky situations where she knows his temper will flare. Over time, this ability has made Ialluth very motherly. She's always fussing over F'sey these days; she was the one who tried to set him up with C'ren in the first place! Of the opinion she usually knows what's best for Hers, she's not above a bit of meddling when she thinks it will pay off in the long run. That being said, Ialluth also knows when it's best to leave well enough alone.
She’s an incredibly social dragon and loves to be with any dragon at all, despite the fact she’s smaller than just about everyone. Incredibly positive, there is very little that keeps Ialluth down. She's more than happy to talk to anyone, but she never forgets about Hers. Whenever she meets someone new, she often tries to encourage the riders to converse as well. Thought it rarely works, Ialluth will never give up on F'sey. She knows she can make a difference.
Ialluth is entirely self-sacrificing and always puts F'sey before her, always. Even in Flight, she thinks only of Hers and the choice that will upset him the least. Now that F'sey is with Ceylith's, he's even less fond of Flights than he was before (if that's at all possible), but Ialluth does her best to Hers happy the the other dragon's rider alive. Sometimes she wishes she had a mate of her own, but Ceylith is a great friend and as long as F'sey is happy, so is Ialluth.

no one can find the rewind button
Current RPs Rise and Shine! - F'sey runs into a candidate...and gets breakfast all over his shirt. Today does not bode well. Not for the faint of heart - F'sey takes Ialluth hunting and they run into M'zaji and his blue, Kaedrelath. The dragons force a meeting. F'sey is not happy. Rub-a-dub, two dragons in a tub! - F'sey and Ialluth go for a bath, and who will they meet there?
Finished RPs Meeting the green and her rider - F'sey and Ialluth meet a candidate named Raena. F'sey, for all intents and purposes, is not amused. (She wanted to touch Ialluth! The nerve of some people!) The Shepherd and the Greenrider - F'sey meets Handra, a strange young candidate doing kitchen work. The greenrider kidnaps him for a little while and has lunch. This one, he likes. This one, he definitely likes.

heroes and thieves at my door
NAME F'SEY'S OPINION. IALLUTH'S OPINION
Candidates
Raena Loud. There were too many questions and she wanted to touch Ialluth. No. End of story. She is not as bad as Mine makes it sound. Still, it is tough to deal with those Mine has such a fit around.
Firyal -in progress- -in progress
Riders and Dragons M'zaji & Kaedrelath ...whatever. ...I tried, right? I can only force so much social.
V'len & Garenth At least he gave me a towel, I guess. I liked Garenth! He was a lot of fun to swim with. Mine did not appreciate the invasion, though. When will he learn, he does not own the beach?
H'dra and Dievath I knew he had potential. He'll make a fine rider. What a cute blue! And His is very sweet, too. Mine is very found of them.
Emori and Inannanth -in progress- -in progress-
Lanakirene and Isonth ...I'm not sure, but I think she's okay. Perhaps. She could be worth. What a darling little green! So patchy, and she's very polite, even if she forgets, sometime. I will share a meal with her anytime.
C'ren and Ceylith C'ren is my weyrmate. I think that covers how I feel about the man. Ceylith's is good for Mine. It is good Ceylith and I get along so well.
S'kagi and Coriath isodfjds. Sharding weyrbrats think they can do anything once you give them a bronze. I fail to see the problem with Coriath's. He is a very fine, fine bronze. I like him. A lot.
Zara and Fuxith ...helpful, I guess. Fuxith's helped Ceylith's when Mine fell ill. I am grateful.
S'van and Galliath I gave him a flit. He's not so bad. Didn't tell a soul about the hickeys, so. I guess he's not bad at all. Fine little weyrling. Precious! Absolutely precious, Galliath and His both. Can we keep them, please?
Nandeli and Reneneth ...WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE IMPRESSED THE QUEEN. ...I sense a lot of fear, here.

I have been here for a few days and I think, if I sit around and do nothing for one more day, I am going to go out of my blasted mind. This is madness. I am just sick, not dying. It's a little irritating, being treated like this. I suppose I am, perhaps, a little weakened, but I have been sick before. Shardits.
C'ren comes to visit me frequently.
I am still not clear what we are. Roommates. Weyrmates. The situation is slightly concerning. I do not want to be believing this is something more than it actually is. I do not want...I do not want to be-
Nevermind. If they catch me, they will probably tell me to go back to sleep. I may as well. There is very little else to do.
They better have someone competent in charge of my weyrlings.

Someone is going to die if I don't get my job back soon. All I have to do is go out on Searches and bathe Ialluth and oil my leathers. Which is all well and good, I suppose, except I'm supposed to be teaching weyrlings. It's not like we don't have plenty of them. And they're insisting I need an assistant. The never of some people. I'm going to inquire if I can appoint H'dra. I think he'd make a fine assistant.
I wish I could take credit for him, but I have to admit, S'kagi did a good job with H'dra and Dievath.
I haven't seen S'kagi around much later. That's good. You know who else I have not seen much of? C'ren.
I suspect my weyrmate is upset with me. You know, if the b*****d actually stuck around instead of taking off, I might actually figure out what's gotten under his skin. But until he grows up and realizes this, I'm simply going to ignore his passive-aggressive behavior and continue my very boring routine. They can't keep me grounded forever, after all. I am the Weyrlingmaster. Someone is going to die if I don't get my job back soon.

Weyrlings. I completely understand why S'kagi ditched this job as quickly as he could. Weyrlings. EUGH. Let's write some notes, shall we?
B'lin and bronze Xanthoth: Will be trouble. Stands up for what he believes in (can respect that), except he believes in the wrong things. (Well, not really, I just can't have warring parties in my lessons, shardit.) Xanthoth also called Ialluth 'lovely'. This is not good.
A'nt and brown Matsukazeth: Late. That is all.
A'bri and brown Varth: Handles that spitfire well. Well-behaved the entire lesson. A bit of a brown-noser, though. Ah, better than stirring up trouble.
Ash'ran and brown Tanith: Nothing to say.
G'ran and brown Ormeteth: Ialluth is completely taken by that little brown. Faranth only knows why. I have no comment on either.
M'al and blue Redhath: Mouthy little pair. Cut his sharding hair, I did. Don't think I'll forget you, M'al. I've got my eye on you. Damn blue. Damn brat. (If you do anything to S'van, I will haunt you.)
J'ken and blue Bayarth: Late...and very tall. >>
W'lin and blue Toronth: His dragon stole his shoes? I almost feel sorry for the lad, but I don't. How do you let your dragon steal your shoes?
M'rik and blue Hasufeth: Strange little blue. Going to be a bit of an oddling until he grows into himself, I'm afraid. Not much that can be done for awkward.
K'lan and green Condoroth: Not much can be done for stupid, either. Little rat. If B'lin was annoying (albeit correct), than Rinfala and M'al will troublesome. This one was downright aggravating. And disrespectful. If I had my way, and a bucket of water...
Inaari and green Eponath: No comment.
Ferris and green Hwinth: No comment.
Also, have officially adopted S'van, even if he...is...connected, in some way, with M'al. He bakes. (C'ren agrees. We keep this one.)
