September 25, 2oo9: A little more tweaking! New sections for "Quests" and "Gifts", as well as three new faces waiting to be met!
July 27, 2oo9: More rearranging being done! New profile drawings are put up for William and Huan Yi, as well as a change in neighbors & homestead. Sounds like busy times are ahead for everyone!
June 14, 2oo9: Some journal rearranging - pardon our dust! Three new drawings, two new RPs, a finished journal entry (and one reserved), plus three new friends are now waiting to be met.

November o1, 2oo8: Tsuji was won in the Halloween event.T I M E L I N EONE || Huan Yi discovers a strange egg in the park while walking home.
TWO || Huan Yi meets Houkan and Pasayo in a cafe, who shed some light on what her egg contains.
THREE || William and Huan Yi discuss what to do about the egg, when their neighbor Ciellas inadvertedly discovers them with it and begins to ask questions. A name is decided.
FOUR || A chance encounter brings Huan Yi to meet Hartley and the bold Mauritius.
FIVE || William and Huan Yi receive an eviction notice, when Tsuji decides to hatch to a captive audiuence.

TWELVE || Huan Yi and Tsuji spend a day in the park and encounter a strange woman named Pherenice, who seems familiar to the young child.
THIRTEEN || In a very sudden decision, it seems that Tsuji, Huan Yi, and William find themselves without home once again. The Halifax clan has left the manor, and while they were invited to stay and never go for want, the family didn't find it right and have begun hunting for a new place to live.
FOURTEEN || William and Huan Yi find the Mossbrae Apartments, and the whole family moves. Personality: Mischievous, playful, possessive, and a gigantic pain, Tsuji delights in making herself the center of attention. Whenever she does something she feels proud of, she makes sure that everyone knows about it and that she gets the proper praise. While still working out her social skills, she has a hard time keeping her mouth shut on issues, including bits and pieces about the lives of people she cares about. She will fight for her friends and be terribly loyal, clinging to them with a vice-like grip and dragging them everywhere. She is also very possessive of her friends, and gets (oftentimes visibly) jealous when they're not spending time with her.  A protectress of lions, and a sheltered soul.
The Aziza Bahari made for an awkward sight in the Seelie court. Painfully tall and dark, in her simple clothing, she stood out like a sore thumb among her smaller, fairer counterparts. For this reason, her mother kept her separate from the Court and the rest of the fae - partially out of her instinctive protectiveness towards her child, and partially out of fear she would leave the nest and forget about her. But the child mirrored the parent too much in both looks and aprehension, and was happy to stay away from the throngs of those who stared and commented on her appearance, deep in the reaches of the human world.
Her mother soothed the child with these words: "Remember that others will only complicate your heart, umntanami. You need only me." And throughout youth, this was the main truth she adhered to. Her mother would never lead her astray.
It would be in the Seelie court, however, that she would meet two friends, a young lady and gentleman, who would ease her loneliness for like-minded companionship in the wake of her mother's passing. These same young fae would open up a new part of her that she had never known before, and in this, she would become sloppy. Her duties would suffer, and she would do what most sheltered children do and open up too far.. and let herself become vulnerable.
It was when other feelings complicated her heart that she was privy to hidden jealousies and anxiety. And it was in this state that she realized her friends hadn't found her, but merely found each other through her, whereas concerns towards her weren't part of the equation. They had left her for each other, and she was right back to where she had started. She fleed back to her home and longed for the comfort of the lions she had not seen in so long, but Bahari quickly realized what her immersion in her newfound friends had done. Poachers had ravaged the lands and the tribes, and what had been her duty to protect was now laid to waste. In her sorrow she searched for them, and the feeling of failure ate away at her heart. She had obviously failed as a friend if they had so easily left her behind, and she had definitely failed in her duties as a protectress.
Some of the lions had escaped, and eagerly she came to meet them, but was only met with hatred and fear. "You abandoned us! Why should we care about you?" But Bahari persisted, only to be rebuked by the fearful and hateful cubs. Deep scratches covered her torso and one rested below her left eye, and she was abandoned once again in a patch of savannah grass to bleed to death. The only sight her blurring eyes could make out was the full harvest moon, and she shuddered.

Over time, through rationalizing the situation and growing responsibilities, he grew up and accepted the Chinese-Irish girl as his "sister", looking out for her much as a real brother should. He was known to give children who picked on her at the elementary school the evil eye.
Upon graduation from high school, an urge to be independent struck him and he moved far from home in order to attend college. He would come home during holidays, fitting time for his family in his busy schedule. Upon the death of his father two years ago, he half-contemplated moving home to help his mother cope, but Huan Yi insisted that she could take care of her. With the death of his mother, he immediately stepped up to offer Huan Yi shelter. While he is grateful for the presence of his sister again, he feels crowded in their small apartment.

P R E V I O U S_H O M E S  M A I S O N_D E_C R O I S E M E N T_:: Huan Yi & William's childhood home. A cottage located in the country, with a spacious garden. Huan Yi lived here before moving in with William in the city upon the death of Mrs. Egan. C O R N E R S T O N E_A P A R T M E N T S_:: Huan Yi & William's first home in the city. This small, cramped apartment played host to a number of interesting tenants, but an emergency eviction sent them all scrambling for a new home. This was also where Tsuji was born. H A L I F A X_M A N O R_:: Huan Yi & William's second home in the city. A mysterious manor belonging to Piero Halifax, who invited his colleague William and his family to live with them. They had only been living there a few months before the family left under swift, emergency circumstances. They were welcomed to remain and never go for want, but the Egans did not feel comfortable without giving back.M O S S B R A E_A P A R T M E N T S A flurry of calls and searching turned up this apartment building, freshly built to accommodate the sprawling suburban population. Very nicely kept, with sprawling lawns in between the apartment buildings, some with small playgrounds. A fitness center is fixed at the front of the complex, along with the mail boxes and the main office. A step above the Cornerstone Apartments in terms of facilities and rent. The small savings & trust fund for William and Huan Yi sustains them well enough here for a while, but in order to maintain things, the younger will need to acquire a part time job.
The residents seem nice, although quieter and much less nosy than their previous apartment.

Egg to Child Quest [ G.r.o.w.t.h. xxxQ.u.e.s.t. ]
Unafraid to make noises and move to garner massive amounts of attention, as of late Tsuji's egg seems to have fallen silent and appears to just...sit there. Did something happen somewhere along the way that could have caused her to just...not care anymore? Or is she waiting for that chance to do something extravagant and go the extra mile?
