I personally think people can wear lolita just about annywere, unless of cours if you're wearing sweet lolita at a funeral. but that's about it surprised I'd say it would also be conveniant to try not to wear lolita in a nightclub xD

Haha, I recently wore my country lolita outfit to a friend's funeral and just the country blouse with a suit to my grandad's funeral biggrin I've been to so many funerals in my day that I now just wear to them whatever I think the deceased person would have liked smile
Personally I wouldn't wear my lolita clothes anywhere I think I might get dirty or wet, because I want my clothes to look nice. I won't wear my lolita clothes while I'm gardening, because my roses might rip my clothes.
I wouldn't wear shiro lolita to a wedding, because it is impolite to wear white to a wedding in my culture. You don't want to look like you're trying to steal the bride's limelight.
I might not wear loli to a nightclub, because I would be afraid of people spilling drinks and I would probably get too hot. Not that I go to nightclubs biggrin
I'm not sure about a babyshower because I've never been to one. It might look like you are trying to steal the mother's limelight perhaps, but it would be so cute!

Babyshowers arent a good place to wear lolita. The attention is suppose to be for the mother and her baby. no one else.

I wouldn't wear Lolita anywhere where I'm going to be active (like to lasertag or to play basketball or football with my friends). Places like that are just too full of opportunities to rip, tear, or stain my clothing. Plus I live in one of the rainiest places on Earth. The football fields here are about 90% mud. gonk
I also wouldn't wear Lolita to my music lessons, because I knock enough mic and guitar stands over without a large bell-shaped skirt on, thank you very much. xD Cluttered places and Lolita don't mix well in my opinion. I always think ahead and make sure that wearing Lolita wouldn't be too inconvenient.

I can't wear lolita to my college classes very well. I'm a dance major, so I have to change my clothes often throughout the day. And I do a lot of running around so it's just not convenient for me.

I wouldn't wear my lolita clothes to Disneyland because I'd be afraid of them getting torn in the rides. Also, I don't know how well the clothes would travel in a suitcase.

Really? Disneyland is my favorite place to wear Lolita! And I know from experience that Lolita fits just fine in a suitcase, just be sure that wherever you're going has an iron!
I wouldn't wear it to...*thinks* Hmm....A bar, for sure. I wouldn't want anything getting on it...Oh, or six Flags! People would be able to see up your skirt ((even if you're like me, and have bloomers...;D ))! AND That's BEGGING for it to rip.
Simply, I wouldn't wear it to anywhere where I had to be running around where it's easy for it to rip.
And for me (I'm a gothic Lolita) Wearing to a wedding or a shower isn't a problem. To a funeral, either- that's okay, because I'd be wearing black.
To be honest, I hate it at weddings when the guests wear light colors. I think the bride should stand out of everyone in the crowd! At a baby shower, I probably wouldn't wear it, because I'd stand out in the black OTL, so I'd have to be sure it was light grays, or dark blue or something. *I like solid colors*

-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
DisneyWorld/Land is a hit or miss. There are times where the employees won't let you enter the park because they think you're dressed too costume-y and won't let you enter until you remove certain items (i.e. petticoat) or just go back to your hotel and change your outfit completely. Some employees might let you go but there has been many occasions where girls complained about them not giving them entry to the park.

Yeah. Even though there's the understanding that you're going to attract that attention like you're part of the amusement park, I think that if you've already paid for the damn ticket you should be gained entrance unless it's quite obvious that you're coming dressed in some straight-up Disney cosplay to try and get attention.
