 What's Happening Around DDG
Also, I'm going to say some things here if I have any announcements or what not here so please check here periodically.
I will try to keep monthly updates, but some months are slower than others, and other months need WEEKLY updates.

Yes I know it's a few days early
¤ I'm right now really busy with my first quarter in college so I won't be able to be on for long periods like I used to be; however, I will have no class from Thanksgiving til the first week of January.
¤ If you see any threads that are old, but want to expound on, or modify the question then please either post there or send me a message and I'll update the post!
¤ I know right now everyone is busy and doesn't have a lot of time for Gaia *gasp* but if you can do your best to post AT LEAST once a week, I'll try my best to be on every day or every other day for a few minutes.
¤ There are currently 2 contests happening in the CONTESTSsub-forum right now: Dice and Bump. YOU CAN ROLL/BUMP AS MUCH AS YOU WANT TO. There are only like 10 on average active in the guild weekly, so PLEASE
go ahead and have fun.
¤ If you have a quest or quests for ANYTHING, from flowers to trash to the Ninja Headband (just throwing examples out) then please head on over to the CHARTIES sub-forum and post your quests.
¤ Like always, if you see something missing, or you have any comments/suggestions/ideas/etc, then please DO NOT HESITATE to PM me. I've been around Gaia for a while, so I do know a few things.
If I don't know it, then I'll help figure out whatever you asked help for. ^_^

~I know it's nothing about the guild, but about me and as you guild might guess, I hate being narcissistic~
¤ Okay, as you can tell I'm posting this at 1:42ish A.M. PST
¤ I am super busy right now because the last 2 weeks and finals are coming up of this first quarter in college and I do not have time to be on Gaia every day or every other day. I am planning on taking a few days off. I apologize that I am slacking off my duties as guild leader and I deeply apologize for having nothing really going on in the guild except the dice and bump contests. I am planning on having other contests on happening, but I just do not have time to create them, be a mod, do my homework, and sleep.
¤ I have a research paper due in less than two weeks and my math class is difficult for me so like I said, I'm going to be on rarely for the next two weeks--I might not be on. I apologize for the inconvenience and I have from Thanksgiving to the first week of January off and I'll have the Guild up and back in shape.
¤I know this time is very busy for everyone since it's right before Thanksgiving and the holidays, so if you have any problems, questions or concerns about the guild, what's happening in the guild, or ANYTHING about the guild, then please PM ME. PM's are the first that I check. I will try to log on in my free time, but I doubt I will be on no more than a few minutes if at all.
¤I'm sorry the guild is slowing down right now, but I will have free time in about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. Thanks for reading this and I hope I'll chat with you all later!

¤ Hey everyone, sorry for being gone for two weeks. My first quarter classes are done and I have no class until Jan 7th! So I'm going to be on/in the Guild more often!
¤ I am planning some...things....one will be a little late sorry for that, but yeah.....
¤ Even though today (tonight actually is Tuesday night) is two days before Thanksgiving, I created a thread in the CONTESTS subforum. GO!!!!
¤ Another contest for Christmas/the holiday season is going on now too! Check out the CONTESTS subforum for both contests! YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN BOTH!!!!
¤ I am also going to do an art contest because someone suggested it. I can't remember who off the top of my head. sweatdrop lol
¤ I also wanted to try to get something going on for the members who are playing zOMG. If you guys wanted to get together with other guild members and crew up. I don't really know how to set that up. I don't want to kick anyone out of their clans if they're already in one.
¤ In the next week or so, I'm going to create a raffle or something like that. put numbers 1-something and each number picked corresponds to gold/an item. I haven't set that up yet, but I will hopefully get on it soon.

¤Hey everyone! Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Holiday season!
¤I'm posting this in a pink color in lieu of Valentine's Day this week!
¤There are right now *2* contests being held for the month of February: Single's and Couple's Valentine's Day contests. Check them out in the CONTESTS sub-forum, if you haven't already.
¤I know everyone is busy, so if there aren't many people who participated in the contests, I'm thinking about extending them further, or creating new ones.
¤You can participate in both February contests.
¤Also, the BUMP and DICE contests are still open--they always are.
¤There is an ART contest happening now too so submit your art!
¤I believe Kabuto suggested a WRITING contest, so that's now open also. Head on over there and check it out!
¤A bunch of contests are happening in the sub-forums right now. I like to give gold away to people, and if you guys are thinking something like, "Yuki's insane! She's expecting us to do something she won't do!" Think again. In the tektek contests, I posted what I viewed. I do whatever I ask of you guys because I don't think it's fair to tell you guys HEY DO THIS and I don't do it either. ^_^
¤Have a Happy Valentine's Day, if I don't say it to you guys before then.
¤If you don't like V-Day, then do what my friend and I are doing: PCP Day. It was originally (she named it not me) PPC Day, but I thought PCP sounded better. AND YES I KNOW IT'S A DRUG ^_^

¤Yes, I know this is in the middle of the week, but I'm changing some things around the guild.
¤As some of you may have noticed, I'm demoting some members from Crew and Vice Captain's because I am preparing the guild for new members who are going to be Mods and maybe, hopefully, in the future, an active Vice who helps me running the guild.
¤There is a new Forum called ::::Retired Threads:::: That is where all the threads where the last posting was from 2008. If you are interested in posting in them still go on ahead and post and I'll send them back to the Home Forum.
¤I HAVE PICKED OUR NEW MODS!
¤I turned my PMs from Friends Only back to everyone, so hopefully the scammers will quit sending me PMs.
¤There are contests open in the CONTESTS Sub-forum, like always

¤ If you guys haven't already heard, we have two new Mods, so I'm not alone: Hane no Kori and Suge_da.
¤ 2 of the 4 March contests I said were going to happen have already happened. THE OTHER 2 ARE NOW OPEN.
¤ I have gone through our 84 members and seen who's been active in the guild, on Gaia in general, and who hasn't been on in at least a year. I KNOW WHO POSTS AND DOESN'T POST.
¤ Soon, you'll see a decrease in members because I'm going to ban a few members who haven't been on Gaia in over a year.
¤ We have another Affiliate. It's a D&D Guild, which Yukro owns (he's a member of this guild) Please check it out!
¤ If you want to be an affiliation or want to advertise on the guild's homepage and thread PM Ruins about it. It will cost a little gold to adveristise, but it will go to gold towards contests, which Ruins holds.
¤ If you have any suggestions, comments, etc you are always welcome to PM any of the Mods or comment on the SUGGESTIONS thread, which is on the homepage

¤ Thank you for the few people who participated in the Guild's Easter Event. I know it was during a busy time for everyone, but the few who participated made it fun ^_^
¤ Right now, I'm recuperating the funds on my mule: Midnight_Ruins, so look for a couple of contests by mid May.
¤ School for most people is closing at the end of this month or beginning of June (I'm done June 12th), so until the 3rd week of June, I won't have anything major happening in the guild.
¤ Feel free to create and post topic appropriate threads in the correct forums. If you create one in the wrong forum, one of the mods or I will move it.
¤ I haven't had a chance to boot out the members who haven't posted in over a year, but I will for sure boot them out latest by June. I try to make time, but, like everyone, Spring is usually a busy time.
¤ If you have any suggestions, comments, etc you are always welcome to PM Ruins, Hane, Suge, or myself; or comment on the SUGGESTIONS thread, which is on the homepage
¤ Please keep on posting in this guild, and if you want one of the Dead Threads reopened, post in the thread and/or holler at me and I'll take it out of the RETIRED TOPICS FORUM.

¤ I'm going to try to hold more contests this summer and possibly a summer event. If anyone is interested in helping me plan and "moderate" the event with me, PM Midnight_Ruins. I haven't decided when, if at all, it will be.
¤ I want to revamp the guild's homepage and guild's thread to make both look more enticing. If ANYONE is interested in helping out, or giving suggestions, PM Midnight_Ruins.
¤ For the next couple weeks, I am unexpectedly busy, so I won't be able to post much, if any, in the guild crying . If there is a problem or a need arises, talk to Hane no Kori or, if need be, PM Midnight_Ruins.
¤ I talk to Hane on a regularly basis on Gaia, so if there is an issue, we can swiftly deal with it.
¤ I am looking for more stuff or events, or ANYTHING for the guild, so if you have an idea, PM Ruins, or drop a message off in the SUGGESTIONS thread on the homepage. It's a stickied thread.
¤ Before I forget, I'm finally going to send warning notices to members who haven't been active in the guild at all, in a long time, or haven't posted this past week. For those who still don't post, I will send a second warning notice, then I will send a notice of "kicking" you out of the guild. If you still want to be in the guild, you will have to prove to me that you WILL be active in the DDG.

¤ hane and I will be working on the homepage and whatnot, so you might see if randomly change. Don't worry, we're working on making everything look better and run more smoothly!
¤ I will be slowly but surely working on new banners for this guild this month. I hope you guys will like what I will have finished for you.

¤ July 20-21, Hane and I revamped the Guild. If you catch Hane around the guild, give her a big ol' thank you for spending hours she didn't have to on moving threads, and creating a D&D sub-forum from scratch.
¤ When the D&D Sub-forum finally opens, KNOW THAT HANE IS SUPREME RULER in there. Yuki informed her of that.
¤ Announcements first posts, and the homepage banners are still being created, but otherwise everything is done.
¤ There are new 200x40 banners up in the BANNERS sticky. Check them out! Hane and I hope you like them, since we spent time creating many new banners just for you guys.
¤ Look out for contests in August! One will start during the first week.
¤ Sadly one of our very active members decided to quit Gaia altogether during the last week of July. Omen 37 will be missed much, but before leaving he made a generous donation to this guild, racking up the guild funds to 200,000 gold.
¤ Warning PMs were sent out the last few days of July. If you are one of the people who received the PM, know that if you post for a few days and then repeat not posting, you will be banned from the guild.
¤ Always look in all the sub-forums because there are many conversations happening daily.
¤ Look out in the second or third week of August - there might be a Summer Event.
¤ If you have any feedback on how the guild runs, looks, or your opinions on its change or anything, please post in the SUGGESTIONS thread in the Announcements/Home Forum.
¤ If you need to contact me, you can always contact me by Yagi_Yuki or Midnight_Ruins. Ruins is my 'mule' who is in charge or sending prizes, keeping guild funds, and usually running contests.

¤ Yuki is back from having the flu, but don't think Hane isn't in charge. She's the VC, so if there's an issue, go to either her or me.
¤ August's Contest is up. It's open the 10th through the 15th. Hurry! Won't be open long.
¤ During this week, the August Contest is happening while Yuki creates the *le gasp* DDG SUMMER EVENT! Get suited up before going to school, or if you went back, then here's a break already for you!
¤ Hane took a long time creating the D&D sub-forum for you guys, and IT'S FINALLY OPEN! Check it out!
¤ Expect to see DDG's Summer Event up in a week or so.
