For anyone that loves avatar art, this is the place to be! Here, you will find many talented artists who are willing to dedicate their weekend to drawing for those of you attending this tribute to the Zurg aliens that shook things up on Gaia Halloween of 2006. While it may seem unfortunate that the artists here must sleep, eat, and rest periodically during this fantastic weekend, we will be doing our best to draw for as many people as we possibly can.
Each artist has his or her own particular style and these can be seen in their samples or completed works down in their personal sections listed just below. It is at the discretion of each artist as to what they are willing to draw, and who they are willing to draw. Artists will be selecting avatars that they find appealing, and you may not know that your avatar has been selected until your finished art is posted up, both at the beginning of this thread and as the thread continues.
Please do not ask a particular artist to draw your avatar. If you pm the artist with a request for this thread or if you make a request in the thread, you may be placed on the Denied List and potentially may have to answer to security. Think of it as a black list: no one will draw you if an artist asks that your name be added! All of us here in this thread are doing this out of the kindness of our hearts, so please be courteous to us! The nicer you are, the more likely someone is going to want to draw your avatar! It is also possible that more than one of us will decide your avatar is a good subject for our drawings. If this happens, your name will be placed on our Favored List to let other artists know that you've received more than one picture. This doesn't mean you won't get more, but we have other guests that would enjoy avatar art being drawn for them! It is also possible to hire some of the artists here for commissions, and you can find more information about that in the individual sections below.
