Personality: Yasuo is a kind and respectful Sandpainter; with the patience of a sage, he tolerates most misbehaviors with a smile and a shake of his head. Some say he would make an excellent mate and a wonderful father with this rare gift, though he has yet to find her.
A Chi'Lin with a sharp tounge, Yasuo often uses word play to confuse any opponent that might step forward so that he may be able to escape any fight that would attempt to surface between himself and his rival. Despite this, he is willing to help those in need as much as he can.
History: Unknown, Yasuo refuses to speak of his past willingly.

Personality: Loba is bouncy, to say the least. Constantly on the go, this familiar spirit/moving umbrella attempts to keep up with his Master. He's the one who usually informs Yasuo if someone is inside of their territory or if someone is doing something that Yasuo doesn't like: like stealing too much of their food. If there's nothing to report, the Loba usually just rambles on and on until his Chi'Lin companion finds a way to shut him up; usually this involves dropping the poor guy into the shallow area of the pond or simply having Yasuo carry him around in his mouth while he's mining for gems or ore. Nevertheless, despite his never-ending stream of babbling, Loba is a very friendly and mischivious spirit. He makes for a good companion.
History: Yasou had found Loba when he was still just an umbrella...at about the ninety-eight year mark. Being a packrat teenage dragon with no parents to tell him not to, the Chi'Lin has dragged the paper umbrella back to Spirit Cove and dropped it into his pile of "treasures". Forgetting about the object over the next two years, you can imagine Yasuo's surprise when he woke up one morning and found a single orange/red eye staring back at him. He had just been about to rip the paper object to spreads when it started bouncing around and babbling with a large smile on it's "face". Highly amused, the Chi'Lin had decided to keep the little bugger ever since. It's been about two and a half years since that day.

History: Yasuo has discovered little Aideen while he had been mining in another location around the same time Loba had come into the family. Being small, and seeking a circle of warmth herself, the lizard-like creature had climbed and clung to Yasuo's stomach; while he was not a female, the Chi'lin had found the warmth a wonderful thing.

 Spirit Cove
Yasuo has named his home as such, due to the peaceful aura that surrounds this place. The constant hum of thw waterfalls as they thunder down from above, the rich greenery surrounding the crystal-clear pond, and the abundance of life that constantly streams in and out of his territory whether it is to drink, eat, or simply rest before moving on. The pond itself is filled with freshwater fish, which adds to the Chi'Lins' diet; also, due to the fact the pond depth reaches to his shoulders, Yasuo is also able to enjoy a swim on the hotter days. Trees reach high up towards the heavens; they leave a circle of sky above the center of the pond, making it perfect for star viewing on clear nights.
Fruit trees and vegetables grow wild here, as well as a great deal of herb bushes. Passerby are free to take from these, so long as they don't strip them bare to the branch. Loba is quick to warn his dragon companion if such a crisis arises.
Behind the largest waterfall of Spirit Cove is the cavern the two of them call home. Soft sandstone and limestone have been carved out naturally and by claw throughout the long years. Inside is warm and slightly damp, but a quick bed of leaves, silks and a high shelf of stone is quick to cure the latter.
Yasuo works down in the tunnels during the day, digging out the jade and other valuable stone to trade for what his home cannot provide.

Personality: Toshihiro is an easy-going, carefree spirit with a warm smile to match. Always seeking to make a joke out of everything, the situation that presents itself has to be very grave indeed to bring out his serious side. His motto is: "I don't seek the true meaning of or behind life, I just live it like i'm suppose to."
Taking his natural colorings of a serpent, Toshihiro has chosen to live in the ground and in the trees, unlike his kin who live in the mountain temples. He enjoys pranking everyone, but is willing to welcome visitors into his home...so long as they don't cause any problems.
He does have a small dislike for female Paints though, it takes a small effort for them to get through to him when he usually tries to flee, hide, or just ignore them.
History: Toshihiro was born into a pure-blood P'an Lun family, along with two siblings: a brother and a sister, making him the "Eldest Child" and heir to everything that his mother and father owned. At the time, they had been a perfect family: Toshihiro romped and played with his family while his mother and father shared a warm bond of love that had existed since their teenage years. Unfortunately, darkness settled in once Toshi and his siblings started growing up: his sister, being the curious little bugger she was, had wandered into the Forest of Sleep and been attacked by a poisonous Paint. The loss was devistating to them all, but it had seemed to hit their mother the most. She grew far too over-protective, keeping Toshi and his little brother within the confines of the temple and driving their father out whenever he tried to take them away; even as tthe two of them grew into their teenage years, their mother kept them in the place while stilling seeing them as hatchling...she even went as far as to believe their sister was still alive!
Fearing their delusional parent, both Toshihiro and his brother made their escape and flew away towards the forest, where they sheltered for a few days. Afterwards, both split up; sheltered from the world but willing to learn; they never did find their father...nor did their mother ever come searching for them. Their family had fallen apart at the seams; only the ties between his brother and himself remained.
Toshihiro, during his time of captivity (as he called it) had developed a small fear of females and had urge to flee or scare them off whenever they approached. However, if they showed him that they were nothing like what he feared, Toshihiro becomes more willing to show his goofy and care-free side; he is a truely gentle soul, wanting nothing more then to make the hurt go away. He had vowed to never be like his mother, if he were to have children. He would protect them, yes...but he would never chain them down. "I don't seek the true meaning of or behind life, I just live it like i'm suppose to", that was his meaning of life. And that's the lesson he would pass onwards.

Personality: Rowen is a loyal and faithful guardian, having sworn to protect Mya and her bloodline for as long as he breathes. He is, unfortunately, a tad stubburn and a bit of a hothead especially towards Valentine, especially when they first met. He believed the crippled Painter had taken Mya's heart for his own selfish reasons, but was unable to find a reason to drive away the male. Now, Rowen is on the "friend" level with Valentine but is still extremely protective of Mya.
History: Rowen had become Mya's familiar and guardian through a request and contract with her parents after they had arrived on Hal'ia. Being a wee hatchling, she had been barely able to defend herself so Rowen agreed; in exchange he was provided a home and food. Over the next few years, his attachment to the young dragoness grew into a strong friendship and, even after the terms of the contract faded, he still remained by Mya's side.

 Dreamers' CoveAn appropriate name given to this special place by it's two inhabitants. Mya, a young Aviadracus, dwells here with her one and only love; another Aviadracus by the name of Valentine.
Dreamers' Cove is placed upon the east side of Hal'ia, borderline on the Jungles of Sleep though both know never to wander too far within the depths less they become lost. A small cave, tucked behind the trees, serves as their home and shelter within the territory; packed with soft silks, other fabrics, leaves and nesting material, it stays warm during the winter months and provides a welcoming aura after a long day of seperation.
Just within walking distance of the cave mouth and the treeline, is the shoreline and waters of the vast oceans that surround the Sandpaint Island. During the day, the trees offer shade and cool the sands so they do not burn to the touch; the skies are often clear, both during the day and at night. The occasional storm that rolls through rarely disruptes the peaceful landscape.
Water comes from a small spring located a few feet from Myas' and Valentines' cave and food, both meat and plant, are easy to find. Storage of resources during the winter months are placed in a small pocket of the cavern.
All are welcome within Dreamers' Cove, but be warned. Raise a claw against another or someone close to the couple and thou shall be driven away by Valentine. Although he doesn't look it, the male is a powerful and capable warrior. Mya, herself, is capable of blow or bite though she prefers not to have to resort to bloodshed.
