So, thanks to `Manifest loaning me his labcoat, I was able to put together the X cosplay I was thinking of. It didn't turn out EXACTLY as I planned, but... So, here's a side by side comparison.   What do you guys think? Worth entering in the arena? Any changes that should be made?

It's really good.
I think Inari's Beads, 2nd Gen, would do a better job for the scarf, though.

Did you try using the April Fools black face Item?
Its worth a shot, I guess. But then its always worth a shot as long as winning isn't high on your list of priorities.

I don't do that many cosplays, but I usually end up at least in the top 100. So I've kind of accepted that winning is impossible without having a randomly massive guild or something behind you. And Massive the GiB is not.
Hm... lets see... I'm liking the new Inari's bead whatsit.
My two points of interest are that X's pants seem to bulge a bit above his shoeline, but I'm not sure if there are pants that match that AND the color. Also, X has a ?cape? draped over one arm.

I think it's closer to the teal, myself, but the Inari's Beads design doesn't look it at all.
"My" cosplay is more of the manga LabtechX than it is his avatar.

Can I suggest you use the april fools face explosion thing Tori is using now for the eyes instead of that mask?

That's not a cape. It's some kind of metal arm cast. Probably from the incident at with the most recent lab explosion a few years back. Also, his skin is slightly lighter. sweatdrop
But other than that and what the other peoples said, great job.
