Name: Iason Nyklos
Nicknames: none
Occupation: Artist/ Barista at a local coffee shop
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Appearance: Iason is a tall, standing barely under six feet, and lean male. He has a medium-frame which can make him seem as though he is smaller than most men of his height, something emphasized by the almost feminine edges to his build: less broad shoulders, more angles. His eyes are almond-shaped and shrouded in dark, thick lashes that, like the rest of his body, has definite feminine undertones - though he would never be mistaken for a woman.
As far as coloring goes, Iason has palish skin, even though he spends a good portion of time outside. His hair is just a little above shoulder length and is a reddish brown. His hair is naturally wavy, coming into curls at the bottom. He claims his eyes are green, although they are such an odd color that they appear most of the time to be grey. He typically has very little in the way of facial hair, simply scruff when left without maintenance, although Iason's nearly obsessive tendencies about his physical appearance often keep that in check.
Most of Iason's attire tends to fall in neutral tones, although he has a few things that are anything but. Most of his clothes are practical, with plenty of pockets for his art supplies, and shorter sleeves. He can typically be found with a paintbrush tucked behind one of his ears.
Personality: Iason is forever an optimist, but not in the typical sense of the word. Rather than looking on the bright side of everything, he tends to simply ignore any possible negative consequences. While this really isn't the best way to deal with issues, he finds that it allows him to appreciate the little things in life, and gives him the ability to get excited about something as small as making a new friend, or meeting new people, allowing Iason to approach each day with an enthusiasm that is both forthright and genuine. He is very clearly a social creature, and tries to be rarely found alone, and when he does feel the need for some privacy he tends to occupy himself with tasks rather than be alone with his thoughts.
He has no tolerance for drama, stupidity, or a delicate female role; having been raised in a family with many strong women. However, he does pick his battles, and pick them very, very carefully. He is a big fan of the idea that his silence could just mean you are not worth the argument. Besides, silence tends to have very interesting effects on people, they could give it up, or let their overactive imaginations go to town and become suddenly paranoid of the terrible things you’re going to do to them when they turn around.
He tends to be the happiest when he is painting, whether it is a portrait of someone else, or just anything that catches his eye. He's not the best at it, or at least that's how he feels about it, but that doesn't matter to him. He just doesn't see why he shouldn't do something he enjoys, even if it isn't very good.
