Stryder aka "Jaeger Stryder"
Stryder does not know much of his pack as settlers killed his father and the rest of his pack. Captured by settlers as a young pup, Stryder was forced to obey their cruel intentions. Out of their sick enjoyment, Stryder was muzzled and forced into “dog” fights. He had to fight for his life against other wolves and dogs as settlers bet on the animals. Late into his teen years, Stryder was able to overpower one of the settlers and escape from the settlement and the cage he was in. He came upon a village of Telk natives where he was received well. The villagers believed him to be the incarnate of an old warrior whom they saw as a deity. He received a pendant and leather straps from the villagers and given food. They were unable to take his muzzle off but saw that he was able to eat small chunks of food. Though muzzled, Stryder had powerful claws and muscles as well as able to growl. Stryder had never been able to speak with the other wolves and of course, these villagers could not communicate with him.
Stryder was wary as these natives, these humans, treated him well and reverently. He came and went from the village, eating the squirrels he killed with his mighty claws. A few days passed then before the village was attacked by the settlers who had finally followed Stryder to the village. A villager led Stryder away, using the pendant as a way to grab hold of Stryder and put on Stryder a hooded cloak. The villager ran back to the village and was killed. Out of revenge for the killing of the kind-hearted villagers and for the years that the settlers had treated him so cruelly, Stryder took down the dogs, killing many of them. He scared the horses the settlers rode. The horses had been raised fearing the wolves that fought and were always scared out of their minds during the fights. Stryder growled near them swiping many with his claws getting the horses to run away and/or buck their riders off. After doing this, he ran away and knew no more of what happened to the settlers.
As an adult, Stryder is a lone wolf. He feeds by taking down several squirrels and eating them. He can take on larger animals but he is only able to eat small chunks at a time, not allowed to actually eat much meat because of his muzzle. Stryder is traveling the land, searching for a pack to be a part of. A pack that would take him in.

Developments/RPs According to "The Blind Can See, but the Dead Don't Talk (Stry/Ven)" Stryder has since gained a small ability to speak as the muzzle has loosened but it'll never be able to come off. He's also come to make a friend with Venda.
As of "A Bay and a Howl," Stryder has come to join Aguta's (Wraith, ICly) pack. He's a gamma and he uses the name "Jaeger."
Stryder was involved in some in-thread RP with Newanti (Jade's), Daeril's Abital, and Nel's Eiros. They met in a meadow, where there was also talk of the "darker" wolves that Anti saw that would bring chaos and no good.
Stryder's developed some crush and sees lots of potential with the young she-wolf Schatze in "A Whisper & A Clamor"
Schatze has grown and Stryder has reunited with her. "A Great Day for Freedom"
Schatze and Stryder have become mates and have made their shared den in a cave two narrow chambers away from the underground stream in the Tomkin territory in "Can a wolf say I love you?"
Stryder and Schatze had a 4 pup litter, 2 boys and 2 females. A male/female pair of twins named Samhain and Beltane. The other male is Failbhe and the last daughter is Litha.
Their second litter was a 6 pup litter, consisting of 3 boys and 3 females. The females are named Tuilinn, Abel, and Arlette. The males are named Kane, Raz, and Aloysius.

Panzerfaust

If you dare... You were but one among the many who called for the vagabond's exile. It was only later, after whispers of the clan's secrets drifted to your ears from the mouths of strangers- that you regretted it. You should have known that old daywalker would have been nothing but trouble once he was banished from the pack. The animals who heard your clan's tales and secrets, they don't know and do not understand the things that they are being told. But you know that it is a matter of time. For soon they will begin to realize that their pups do not just wonder off at night, soon they will know that their females don't just run off into the dark- never to be seen or scented again... Soon, they will know. So what measures will you take to keep the clan's secrets? What steps will you follow so as to ensure the survival of the pack? The alpha protects and cares for the clan, but it is you, and those like you- that make sure it thrives and grows stronger. He Who Regrets That vagabond! The one whom he called for to be exiled. He knew it. He knew there would be trouble if it was only exile. Why not kill the vagabond? He could have stressed the issue to his God, his Alpha, to put down the lowly monger who did not follow his God, their God's law. He should have! He should have told the Strong Right Paw... or the Strong Left Paw. Either beta, either male above him, could have taken the issue with their god. The vagabond tells strangers, other animals of their God's secrets. He tells of the pack'ssecrets. Crows, lynxes, and other various animals.... he heard the mutterings. He heard of his own pack's tales and secrets from those who would never have known unless told... Told by that lowly, forsaken vagabond! Of course he had made sure those strangers knew no more... or could not speak of the pack's secrets anymore but the vagabond! Panzerfaust knew of fear... Would his God exile him.. dispose of him who called for the daywalker's exile? He was offhandedly one of the causes for allowing the pack's secrets to the outside strangers... to the animals he heard mutterings from. Soon... soon other wolves would know. Know what happened to their pups and their females if this continued. Panzerfaust knew what he would do. What he must do. He would take care of the vagabond. He would correct this regret to the pack and right it. Right the tales and secrets. Panzerfaust left his den and approached cautiously. He knew that The Strong Left Paw may kill him. Who knew of what the trembles and sickness have led the beta to do? He could be maimed. Maybe The Weapon knew that this wrong was his fault, his fault for pushing for the vagabond's exile. He made sure that The Strong Left Paw's figure was downwind of him, so the beta knew that he was approaching and would not take him as a threat. "What do you want, gamma?" A voice growled, shaking Panzerfaust's bones to their very core. "You who are our God's Strong Left Paw, his Weapon. Do you know what I regret most?" Panzerfaust asked. "Get on with it, gamma! I don't need your ramblings. Speak, or face the consequences. I know that you think of the vagabond. What. of. it?" Panzerfaust could see the saliva dripping from The Weapon's fangs. He saw The Weapon lick his chops. "The animals... the vagabond is telling of our God's secrets. Please, ask our God, or allow me to take care of it. I want to kill him for telling of our secrets... our God's secrets. Please allow me to hunt the vagabond down." " You dare ask me to do anything for you?!" The Weapon growled at him. Panzerfaust quickly bowed low to the ground, baring his neck to one who was above him. To show that he knew his God's laws and traditions. After all, he helped keep them and help them thrive. He stayed there until he heard the voice, his God's voice. Panzerfaust's heart filled with joy. He would be allowed to correct his wrong. He would be able to be a part of the vagabond's silencing. If they couldn't kill the lowly monger, they would make sure he would never, ever be able to speak again. Additional Notes: I thought Panzerfaust would be interesting. It's supposed to be a recoilless anti-tank weapon that was disposable. I envision my character to be flawed in one way, he fears that he may be disposed of because of this regret, of letting the exiled vagabond go and speak of the troubles. Though I feel afraid... maybe I didn't do the clan justice. Or this character justice. Or that I took some liberty with The Weapon and The God. @_@ The Why What I liked about the entries for this particular wolf were the initiative and clever drive that the many writers displayed when answering the prompt. And that made for amazing entries and many wonderful future RP plot ideas... But I believe most got too carried away with themselves. Which is why I chose Kage's entry, because they kept in mind that in the end, this wolf is no beta, nor alpha- but a mere gamma that must still adhere to the pack hierarchy. What I also enjoyed about Kage's depiction of the gamma wolf 'Panzerfaust', was his belief in the way of the Shadowclan despite his own regrets, and he showed that by keeping to old traditions and respects by physically enacting them to The Weapon after seeking the other wolf out. This gamma wolf was one who sought to right his self-perceived wrongs without going outside the bounds of his own station or losing his faith, his belief in the ways of the Clan.

Rankine
Rankine is a lone wolf who's been lost. He doesn't remember much of life, only knowing how he's wandered the lands of Telk. He has a bit of a cowardly existence but he's grown a bit out of it. He used to prefer to hide and run away, without confronting anything or anyone, not wanting to fight for his survival for food. After meeting others, specifically Abital, he's changed. Since meeting Abital, Rankine has started to find something that does fulfill his sense of being. He's decided to hang with her after meeting her for a second time, determined to do whatever and go wherever Abital decides to go.
After Abital became pregnant with Rankine's pups, Rankine kept his distance, but still close to see whether or not she and the pups would be ok. He moved with Abital as she went to Gomorrah to have the pups. Rankine was dealt with a mighty blow, as he wasn't as supported as other pack members, his existence within the pack area helped lead to the fatalities of 3 of the 5 pups Abital had. Only two, Dillinger and Cassidy, survived. Rankine took it hard, and is afraid that Abital holds the deaths of their pups against him.
