The Bates Motel, although named the same as the single-story motel from the classic movie Psycho, is anything but similar. It may have been because the landlady has a sense of humor, because there were a couple of murders in the building, or because of some other random fancy, but that is how the building came to be known.
The Bates Motel is a rather large building located on the very outskirts of town, close enough to the city for it to be a short walk away but far enough away for the noise and lights to be less problematic for the occupants. It stands on a rather large plot of land, mostly covered in the greenery of grass and moss but it is not without the random tree or bush here and there (Moogz, however, isn't much of a gardener).
It is more of a moderate temperature inside the building than outside, as MoogerMint's apartment complex is situated on what seems to be a rather warm spot from the outside. The entranceway tends to be rather busy with the bustling of the occupants, but such is what one would expect in an area where so many live. The place is nicely furnished save for a few scrapes and cuts in various pieces of furniture, giving off the impression that the establishment is still fairly new.
Some crazy lady runs the operation around these parts. Most people try to ignore her and be on their way, for fear the crazy is as contagious as rumors say. As long as she offers rooms for those anthros that need to find their way, most are capable of handling at least this much.

Most of these should already be a given, but just in case, I've got a list here for convenience's sake. If I'm missing anything, I may add it in later, but this is all I thought was necessary to remind people of. Break them, and I break your leeeeg! D<
1. Please do NOT post in this thread. The Bates Motel is stationed here as a quicker way for you to see all my boys and all their little quirks, personality traits, histories, and such. If you want to roleplay, feel free to let me know and we can do so, but not in here.
2. Please do NOT steal the artwork! It was created with care to be what it is, and I don't want to see anyone ripping it off! If you want one of your own, get one from one of the events held in the shop. If you don't know where the shop is, then... I'm baffled at how you made your way here. O.o;
3. Follow the Gaia ToS and the rules set by the shop owner, Dracier (previously Aya Camui/Ayami Kuroyami). They are there to keep everything less chaotic, and are widely appreciated. Sticking to these rules, in itself, is a rule in this thread as well. XP
4. I have the authority to add any other rules up here at my discretion. I would appreciate it if you didn't make me feel like I need to. D: <3

- Guild RP - Moogz prefers guild RP to shop RP, as it is much easier to keep track of things. She stalks it often enough anyway. - Shop RP - Moogz's least preferred method, for she sucks at script formatting and the thread tends to move too quickly for paragraphs to be feasible. She may use it for silly fun at times, though. - Messenger RP - Moogz is fastest and most reliable on the messenger, but is also extremely shy, so you might have to poke her first. Will send contact info upon request.
If I can, each will be listed by first-generation parents. Due to this, the majority of a family tree may be irrelevant to my characters, but we don't want any inbreeding. xP

A little scratch pad for things I want to do at some point in the relative future, as far as roleplay is concerned. It's very messy and loose -- most of these are general ideas as to where to begin with something, but may end up not coming about. Other times, the story may become a bit of a stickler. Characters are pretty good at driving the story themselves, and I often don't know where they'll lead it, but that's half the fun. I love adding to this thing, so if anyone wants to help me do so, that'd rock. BD
