The world of brutal fights to just stay alive were now long gone for the red-haired canine. Much more of his time had been utilized just in travel and the sights he saw along the way left a small twinge. A need to belong somewhere was slowly blooming within his very being and served only to be a great discomfort. Several inquiries had led the young man to the building many called 'The Shop'. Any time he would draw close, Gillespi would always pick up the sound of lively chatter and interesting topics.

Days of scouting and observing had led him to this moment: the day he would actually step foot in 'The Shop', after a good thorough bath. Usually, he would follow the footprints of his role model and enter with a flashy grin and a bit of mayhem. His birthrights had taught him that in order to survive one had to adjust to the surroundings. So, tail up high, and without a shred of concern, or clothing, the wolf walked through the door as if he had done this many times before, and immediately headed for the kitchen looking for a bite to eat. What better way to bond with others than over a snack that was 'borrowed' from them?

User ImageA wolf of onyx skin and fur had made his way to the kitchen just moments beforehand and had already began preparing a meal. Fingertips were dipped in white along with the tips of his ears and fluffy tail. Today he had dressed himself in a denim pair of shorts of the shorter variety and a simple white tank top with the image of a bloody hand printed onto it. Aleksandir had frequently found himself wandering into The Shop, namely because he had been created rather than birthed, and other wolves could smell that something was off about his scent. He was an outcast and had never belonged to a pack, and for an Omega wolf, the lone wolf lifestyle was a horrendous thing.

Pale fingertips brushed red tendrils away from luminous green eyes, a soft smile brought to his lips as he recalled just how lucky he was to have finally found a place where he belonged. Most recently he had met a wolf, a hybrid between a demon and a wolf to be more exact, strong and dominant. The male had accepted his displays of gentle submission and territory boundaries had been crossed to become one. Though it was small with only he and Nikki, at least he finally had a pack where he belonged. It caused the animal within him to settle into a peaceful state of being. The Shop was no man's land and would forever remain that way and while he now had a place where he fully belonged, he had wandered from Nikki's sight in the hopes of seeing an old friend or two. Perhaps a new face, perhaps a potential packmate. The omega stopped and frowned slightly, pondering whether or not Nikki would become upset with him if he were to tentatively bring another close to their territory, to meet and be judged.

Deciding that he was entirely overthinking a scenario that would be unlikely to happen, Aleksandir returned to focusing on the task at hand. Steak during the middle of the day may have been off putting to others but for him it was a delicious midday snack.

The path seemed pretty clear for the stunted wolf. There seemed very few obstacles in his path and his hunger drove him to walk with a slight bounce in his step until the sound of another living being moving in the area came to his ears. Instincts overcame his body before any thought could form and he found himself frozen for a moment. Someone else was in this place and the mere thought was enough to invoke a fear. He had to move and quick! Speed was his specialty, and he could be as agile as he needed, but not grace and silence were not included with his skills.

There was a loud crash in the kitchen as he threw open ever cabinet in existence within the area, desperately looking for dishes. Of course, when the clumsy man finally found the plates, the harsh clatter of him knocking the unused ones rang as he ripped free the one he wanted and abandoned the rest. The poor appliance used to keep all the meats nice and fresh was not treated any better than any other object the newcomer touched. BAM! The door slammed wide open and all the steaks were piled up high on the plate.

Upon the sound of anyone entering the area, he was fully prepared to appear like this was just a normal occurrence. Yes, it was totally normal to steal away so much meat onto one plate that he had to be careful in balance and strength to keep it. While he was afraid of what this stranger could be like, this was no man to bow down to his fear or instincts lightly. Standing as tall as his five foot nine inch frame would allow, fluffy tail wagging behind, Gillespi made his way towards the sound of the approaching man with a big fang-toothed grin and a loud cheerful,
"Hello!"

Against the coaxing of the sun's rays, sweat chilled like morning dew as it found itself caught in snarls of matted burgundy fur. The light caused an ethereal aura on the surroundings, as colors responded in kind to the warmth of bright sunlight to weary eyes. Silvio felt himself stumble as his feet were planted more firmly onto what he perceived as solid ground, despite the gentle tilting his mind was registering in survey. Metal tapped silently at his ears as they slowly inched back, and a soft hiss escaped his mouth at the quick thrash of his tail. He had overdone it again. His fingers were bloodied, and flexed movement only helped to peel like an overzealous bandaid the parts that had half-dried. He could hardly even recall the past few hours... or day? Was there even a way to know?

Backing away from the gouges on a tree, he headed toward the shop. It was the closest establishment he was... partially-familiar with, and knew that it was at least welcoming. There was also the chance it would be overrun, like so many times before, but it was a chance the 'coon was willing to take.

However, upon arrival, the tiny coon was met with the most unwelcome of grins. Minoru, perched at the edge of the roof like a stone gargoyle, grinned at the cheshire-marked boy, "My oh my, it appears someone lost a fight with a tree. What did it ever do to you?" Silvio merely brushed the demon off, pausing only for the swiftest of moments to verify Minoru was not just a figure at the edge of his vision. Despite the confirmation, he was still not convinced the dark-haired mass-of-wings was not just a hallucination, fabricated to work as devil's advocate to common sense.

Nearing the door, however, brought with it further detours to his goal, fur bristling on edge and ears snapping back at the strong clatter from within. It seemed there would be obstacles after all. As he entered, a shock of color against a contrasted backdrop, he cautiously avoided the kitchen area for the time being, intent on locating a first aid kit. First stop would be the bathroom, so he focused on edging the common area to bypass interaction.

Minoru held the door open, peering curiously inside by dunking his head past the overhang of the roof. The wings on his head rustled a bit, anticipation making him a little restless. Ahh, was someone trying to cook something in there? "If you're trying to make a pie, I think you're doing it wrong!" he hollered inside, expecting little more than a grunt of irritation in response. Perhaps it was a little more entertaining to be inside... for once.

Luminous green eyes locked onto the soft brown wolf, gaze trailing over the stack of steaks that were piled high. The cheerful albeit loud tone brought a faint smile to his expression. A lazy wag of his white-tipped tail as he took a cautious step forward with the intent to introduce himself. "Greetings... did you perhaps leave any behind for the rest of us?" Aleksandir's tone was polite and gentle and he carried a friendly demeanor with him. Standing with a slight slouch still had him above six feet tall though it was unlikely that he would clear six feet two inches when standing upright.

Fuzzy ears swiveled against red tendrils before canting backwards to the sounds appearing behind him. "My my, a busy day here," he murmured softly before adjusting his stance so that he could keep all three of the strange faces well within his view. Aleksandir had met some friendly faces here and he had also met his fair share of unfriendly ones; he had gotten lucky with his meeting and joining of Nikki but he was not going to allow one positive interaction to crumble his guard for everyone.

The sudden shout from across the way caused the canine to instinctively twist and jump back, shifting all his mass backward a little. Such sudden movements allowed gravity to tug unevenly on the leaning tower of meat and for a brief time there was a small dance and sway between the man and his meal that was fit for more than just him. Gillespi was unable to fight back his laughter and amusement as he barked to the stranger, "If I was making pie, there wouldn't be much of a kitchen left! Baking is not my thing!" The faint smell of another caught his attention. Was that that...? Was there a raccoon nearby?! A thrilled grin cracked over his face. What fun could be had!

His attention was easily obtainable as his mood brightened with thoughts of all the fun that awaited him but it was the voice before him that stole his gaze back to the one whom he had come to meet. A happy proud beam was tossed to the man who inquired about his greedy portions.
"Oh, I left plenty of the fruits and leafy stuff for everyone to enjoy. Are you hungry?" While the words might have sounded as though he were oblivious, this wolf knew exactly what was being asked and was more than quick enough to attempt evading the evident fact that he was stealing more meat than he could consume. His overly friendly expression had just the faintest hint of the mischief that was now turning in his mind.

"I was just on my way to go for a picnic. Would anyone like to come? The more the merrier!" His offer was raised a little louder than when he spoke to two he could see. This invite was even for the racoon that he could smell as well. Of course this announcement of his intentions was nothing more than a bold faced lie and a terrible one; it was an excuse the red-haired male tried to pull in order to have a way to slip free with all the meat he could gather without suspicion. Whether or not they fell for this ruse would show him just how much fun he could have with all these interesting new people.
