It came with a natural oddity, it ended in world chaos. Change came and left the planet feeling vulnerable. And then something else happened... From the children who experienced the riots, the mass chaos, and the changes in the news, came a new group to flip the scale again- Mutants. The appearance of special abilities, different physical mutations, and even just simply a change in body chemistry caused the human race to focus on something more. After problems with the new Mutant race, the countries of the world threw together their money, and sent their mutants to a school to be built and facilitated on an island off of Japan. Pacis Salus school of Mutants was created to train mutants to handle their powers, and to keep the peace of the world so no country would accuse another of raising mutants for armies. June 2nd, 2020: At noon, eastern standard time, the world turned upside down as the sun suddenly dominated the sky, turning a sickly shade of green and growing bright enough to turn day into night, casting the world under only its pallid glow for a full twenty four hours. The world instantly fell into riots and chaos; many thought either that the sun was going to blow up or that today was Judgement Day and acted accordigly by looting, murdering, and perhaps going home to hold their loved ones. Martial law was declared in most countries and many, many people were killed in the resultant civil wars and the continued, unstoppable riots for weeks after the sun had returned to normal.
 Eventually, however, everything calmed down. The sun had not blown up in the following month and no diety had laid claim to the event, so the people and their respective governments finally came to peace and began to rebuild the damage that society had managed to do to itself in a month's time. Every scientist who had any of their wits about them tried in vain to determine what, exactly, caused the sun to do what they called "A mega natural solar chromatic alteration." If it was something in the Earth's atmosphere, there would be something to analyze; if it was something that affected the sun, then it would have to be more powerful or profound than anything physically comprehendable on Earth. Moreover, scientists could not find anything that had changed due to the event... until the arrival of mutants.
Mutants were not discovered until nearly two decades after the initial event, when children born in the wake of the sun's change developed strange, nearly impossible abilities. The scientists of nearly every country, both disturbed and excited, proceeded to call these children "Mega natural beings brought about by mutations during the mega natural solar chromatic alteration" and also proceeded to cart away a good many of these children off to labs, where it was determined that they had an altered, oftentimes enhanced, DNA structure. Testing the parents showed no signs of altered DNA; in fact, some parents of mutated children had not been under the sun when it had first happened and had gone to bomb shelters for the initial duration, seemingly protected against any potential effects the sun could have had.
Chagrined, scientists were more or less forced to let the mutated children go, and those that they didn't let go often escaped in a way that was extremely harmful to the scientists. The world powers began to grow paranoid, scared that other countries could train an army of mutants or that the dissatisfied in their own country would train their mutated offspring against them; it was not long after before many countries rounded up mutants, the less democratic countries simply killing them when they could. The mutants, still being relatively young and few in number, nevertheless fought back; many countries found their world leaders held hostage until a truce was called. The United Nations met, discussed the matter of mutants at great length and finally decided that the only solution was to send mutants to a neutral ground when they came of age, free of the propaganda of their respective countries and owing allegiance only to the commonly held cause of peace and goodwill.
Construction began immediately on a the island of Yamori, a large land mass not far off the coast of Japan. The few inhabitants were relocated and the United Nations pooled their resources to construct the most elaborate, sophisticated facilities possible, even going so far as to hire teams of philosophers and authors to consider the possiblities of future powers to plan accordingly. The remaining mutants were sent to the island immediately, both to keep them away from society and to allow them to supervise and test the construction process; they were to be the key instructors and security for the younger mutants and the generations to come. The school was completed in 2040 and named "Pacis Salus", or "Peace's Salvation." The school has run successfully since, both providing a good, free education to mutated individuals, teaching them good morals and values in a clean, stable environment and allowing the world to breathe easy with nearly every mutant and the extent of their abilities, not to mention weaknesses, on government record...
The year is 2050.

The school itself is built on an uninhabited island off of the chain of Japan. The buildings, domes, have been fortified to withstand storms that are bound to come along for natural disasters. Not only are they fortified for weather, but powers as well. The dorms are set up for special sets for accidents, and the general buildings have similar fortifications as well.
A full team of staff changes shifts every 12 hours, giving the campus a team of working adults to help students with anything they need, even during ungodly times like 1AM. Many of them are mutants, from the first wave that received enough trouble to create the school. There is also a mutant security group around the island in case of trouble.

A- Ignus/Glacies Fireproof, Frost Proof, Combustion Proof, explosions, implosions, ect. B- Silex Unbreakable by super strength, super speed, super weight, extreme growth, ect. C- Multis Normal dorms for students who don't need anything special in their living space.
1- Cafeteria and Auditorium A two-story building, the Auditorium is set up above the cafeteria, accessible via staircase. A dome being round, the center of the top floor has an opening to look down into the cafeteria, the different music classrooms and auditorium needs through different doors based around this insert. The cafeteria is equipped with almost every food need. Snacks are set up in between meals, and a swipe of a card each student is given informs the food clerks of any allergies. 2- General office Contains front desk and headmaster's office. Upstairs is a few rooms for any employee that can't make it off the island for some odd reason. You know, typhoons, storms, ect. 3- Medical Facility For checking for mutation-developed allergies, and taking care of any injuries or other medical problems. The medical staff has rooms in the upstairs for overnight issues. 4- Academics Buildings The buildings include one for each subject of Math, Science, English, and History. The library takes up the first floor of the center building, and upstairs are the art classrooms. 5- Gym Equipped with indoor pool and almost any exercise equipment needed to help keep students healthy. PE classes aren't required, but are encouraged. 6- Docks For boats to drop off supplies, students, or faculty. Also for taking people to the mainlands. The docks also include spaces for biplanes. It rests off the only beach on the island. 7- Training Facility for Powers Where once a day, each student will have time to work with their powers with specialists. The facility also has a set of dorms for extreme cases of students who need extra protection from the outside, or extra strong walls in case something happens. The only cases of where a student won't have a room mate. H- Helicopter Landing Pad For emergencies, or important events. Often used to set up telescopes at night when it's not in use.

Name: Your characters name. Must include first and last.
Codename: What your character's mutant name is. You know, like Logan was called 'Wolverine'. Be original and creative, though.
Age: Has to be between 12 and 18, to mostly go with scheduling of classes, and most powers developed around puberty.
Gender: Self explanatory.
Mutation: What are their abilities? Do they have any physical changes? Limits? Abilities have to make sense. Flying and the ability to breathe under water does not make sense. Preferably, we'd like to have one ability per person. However, exceptions can be like, if someone has a bestial form, sight scent smell and strength might go up. Please come up with something original, too. We don't want repeats of the same powers, or copies of what you can find on a television show, or something. Make it unique to fit you and your character. Also, please describe it well. We don't like one-liners in posts, and in this area of your profile.
Appearance: If you have a picture, please put up a link. If it isn't your picture, please give credit to whomever it belongs to. Text descriptions should include average clothing, build, eye/hair color, height and weight, and even other physical quirks.

Disturbing Tale Teller Name: Logan Ernst Codename: Memoria Age: 16 Gender: Male Mutation: Memory Absorption. By touching items or people, Logan can pick up on a memory of that person, or the last person to touch the item. Scent is also an issue, though by wearing gloves and a face mask, he can null the information to a dull buzz. When Logan absorbs a memory, it lingers in his head for almost up to a week afterwards. Too many memories at once, and his mind can overload and put him in a comatose state. Because of his mutation, he has to sleep within a special room in the training facility. Washing things helps null the effect greatly, especially in clothing. Appearance: Cropped black hair framing his face and fanned about his head. Pale skin and gray-blue eyes. He stands about 5'6", and has a rather thin build. Clothes consist of the usual medical mask and gloves, along with turtlenecks or high-collared button-up shirts, pants, and shoes. His family is moderately money fortunate, so he almost has a 'rich-boy' feel about him. When the weather is hot and he has no intention of going near too many people, you can see him in a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, but always still with his gloves and mask. Personality: Logan is a solitary guy, liking to be off on the sidelines observing. He isn't the sort to go up to someone and try to make friends with them, but the sort of person to talk when spoken to. When he's tired, he doesn't talk a lot at all, and nobody wants to be around him when he's angry. When he's stressed, upset, or overly emotional over something, his ability tends to become more sensitive, and sometimes the gloves, mask, and even his own clothing won't help. Thus, he doesn't like being near people when he's upset. History: Logan has an older sister and an older brother, both adults. His parents live in London and over the summer would send him around to his different family members who happened to live in different places around the world. He enjoys traveling because of it, and found that his favorite places to visit are those with a drier climate then his home in London, but still cool. Logan's mutation showed itself to him when he visited his favorite haunt in London, before going to his grandparents' house in the US, The Tower of London. Tracing his hand along a handrail used to get around an area, he'd felt a tinge of different feelings, and then a rush that made him dizzy. After sitting down for a bit, he went to go get something to eat, and the same thing happened. Eventually, before he could make it home, he'd had a sort of 'overload', and wound up in the hospital in a comatose state for several weeks. His parents worked to figure out what was going on, and when Logan woke up, he told them what happened. They had a doctor that had worked with mutants before come in and he confirmed their suspicions of Logan's mutation. Before long, they observed the building of Pacis Salus, and when the school began accepting mutants, sent him there. Name: Tess Reynalds Codename: Bane Age: 17 Gender: Male Mutation: Tess has an unfortunate appearance mutation. He was born with a fur coat, and bone malformations. First off, his skull is shaped more like a dogs then a humans. He has heightened sight, smell, and hearing, as he has large wolfish ears rather then the normal human ears. However, his snout is pushed in a little, which makes it a little silly when he's grinning or speaking. His hands and feet are deformed a bit, with heavy callouses on the bottoms, and thick black nails. His hind legs are another part of his deformity. They resemble more like a dogs' hind legs, but when he's standing on them, they're a bit more stretched out like a humans'. He can walk around on them, but it's a bit uncomfortable, so he lopes around on all fours most of the time. Another attribute of Tess's mutation is his tail, and his appetite. Tess has a long fluffy tail that he can wag, curl between his legs, or just curl around him for comfort. His preference in food is also altered, as he'd rather chow down on a nice juicy bunny then a salad with ranch dressing. He runs faster then a human on all fours, but can't do much running at all on his hind legs. He can also jump higher and farther.
Recently, Tess has found that he can shift into a normal 'human' form. It is a very painful process and leaves him rather tired. He currently doesn't know how to control it, yet. Appearance: Tess has shaggy dark-gray fur, and long black hair that seems to be developed into some sort of mane. He has wolfish green eyes, a doggish snout, and lots of sharp teeth. Standing at around 6'6" on his hind legs, when he's on all fours he's quite a large canine-humanoid. He usually wears a pair of loose shorts for decency, though he'd be fine running around in nothing. His fur coat keeps him warm in cold weather, and coincidentally keeps him cool in the heat, as well. He has nightmares about getting shaved.
In his 'Normal' form, Tess is a very pale, tall, boy with wild, long, black hair, wolfish green eyes, and full and less-pale lips. His build is thin with a bit of muscle, and he stands at around 6'3". Personality: Tess is very stand-offish, and doesn't like anyone getting in his way. He is willing to fight with anyone who cocks an attitude with him, and otherwise seems ill-tempered to everyone else. When he's in a good mood, he simply ignores people and does what he needs to do. In a bad mood, constant growls can be heard from him. Do -NOT- call him Fluffy unless you're prepared for a fight. History: When Tess was born, he was immediately disowned and given to the government for observation. He grew up in a building with several other children and was picked on and mistreated because of his mutation. He grew smart about it, though his temper was always short, and he made sure he could get a decent education so he could get out of the place. When he found a way, it came in the form of Pacis Salus. The government agreed to send him, and he was soon on his way. Tess's past is full of positives and negatives, from making friends with a few of the children, to being poked and prodded, x-rayed and tested on to try and find the orientation of his mutation. None was found, and what was left was an ill-tempered humanoid canine who was planning on freedom one way or another. Needless to say, they thought it a great way to get rid of him when he mentioned Pacis Salus. Name: Isabella Demri Codename: Sightless Age: 15 Gender: Female Mutation: Isabella has the ability to see spirits. Spirits of plants, living people, and animals are her specialty, but she is slowly gaining the ability to see the spirits of the dead. At the moment, people and animals are the most defined spirits she can see, and plants are light and fuzzy blurs in her vision. Every so often, she'll see a different kind of spark that she associates with the dead, but she doesn't see them very frequently. Appearance: Bella has long, curly blond hair that reaches to her waist. She constantly keeps it brushed, and her bangs portion is always pulled back into a ribbon over the rest of her hair. She was practically born blind, so her eyes are a light blue with a film over them. With a pale complexion, she stands around 4'9"- very short for her age. A tiny body, she also appears almost fragile, even if she does some things that would be considered dangerous because of her lack of sight- walking atop walls, dangerously close to cliffs, balances nimbly atop wobbly ladders, chairs, ect. Bella generally wears dresses her mother bought for her, though she has a few shirts and changes of pants. All of her clothing are definitely feminine, and the things her mother bought for her are almost always black, while her favorite shirt is periwinkle blue. Personality: Bella is apathetic in almost a dreamy way. She likes talking to people, thought there's almost always a sort of hush around her, like one would get from talking about ghost stories late at night, or even mentioning anything spiritual in general. When she's happy, she likes smiling a lot, though the rest of the time she holds a mellow expression, neither smiling nor frowning. History: Isabella was born with a birth defect that caused her to lose sight within the first few hours out of the womb. Her mother had become a stay-at-home mother in their families' estate in North America, and because of her blindness, she was raised and taught at home, almost never allowed out into the outside world. Her father was an important business man, so she only got to see him in between trips, and sometimes at night. That was, until, he was caught with another womans' perfume on him, and his wife divorced him.
After being told what happened, and why Daddy couldn't come home anymore, Bella began to notice a change in her mother. She was harsher, more abusive towards her daughter. Bella didn't really mind too much, knowing her mother was stressed and upset about what happened with her father. She ignored the bruises on her arms and the stinging of her cheek and buried herself into learning faster and doing things better so her mother wouldn't have to be so stressed out. Unfortunately, that stressed Bella out.
At the age of 11, not only was Isabella's body changing with puberty, but she began experiencing headaches that would leave her in a state that couldn't handle any classes. Her mother reacted badly towards it, and caused Bella to run out of the house on her, once, after being yelled at. It was raining out, and the young girl kept tripping over tree roots from the orchard that took up most of their back yard. At one point in time, she wished she could see, wished she never had headaches, and wished her father never cheated on her mother.
As if willing it to happen, she opened her eyes for the first time in years, and although most of everything was black, she could see a dull glow that was a bird a ways away from where she'd stumbled and fallen, curling up against a tree. She watched it move, marveling at it, before watching it fly away. Her mother found her soon enough, and Bella saw her face for the first time- not fully detailed, but enough that she began sobbing out, confessing to her mother what was going on.
The headaches lessened the more she kept her eyes open, and eventually her ability developed and she could 'see' people and animals more clearly. Sometimes they didn't look exactly as they would to one who could see, like she once met a man who seemed like his hair was constantly on fire, but mostly they were the same. After years of her mother now doting on her, thinking her daughter had gone crazy even though she provided proof of her ability at every opportunity she had, a letter came in the mail from one of their family friends, informing them of Pacis Salus.
At first, Bella's mother thought it to be a joke, and then she considered it. She went and got her daughter checked up and the girls' abilities were confirmed, and then the decision was made. Bella was sent to Pacis Salus only days after her fifteenth birthday, and her mother waved her off with an expression of uncertainty.
waya achak Name: Arkell Lavanya Codename: Flare Age: 15 Gender: Female Mutation: Pyrokinetic/Pyrokinesis - She can create and manipulate fire Appearance: Ark is 4'11 with a lithe build and spunky attitude. She appears to have been 'burned' black from bursting into flames on a constant basis and her hair also imitates the fire she can conjure as it's curly and unruly. In warm weather she generally wears baggy cargo shorts and a wife beater or t-shirt. Cold weather are heavy baggy pants held up by belt and a turtleneck sweater. Since she occasionally burst into flames without warning she goes through a lot of clothing. Personality: She is very excitable and upbeat. Unfortunately her emotions can be her downfall because if she's frightened, angry, or happy in any sort of extreme she has the tendency to 'self combust' thus destroying any article of clothing she might be wearing as well as possibly burning those around her History: Arkell was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois with a love of Broadway acting and song (as well as some ridillin). Her mother had taught her to sing ever since she was old enough to string together a sentence, and she always had an over-dramatic attitude to go with it. She was her music teacher's star student. When she was eleven she was picked to do a solo in the 'winter holiday' rehearsal. She went to a large school so when she finally got up in front of the crowd she froze. She started shaking and due to her nerves her body burst into flames and set fire to the building. A few people died in the fire and more were seriously burned. She was so ashamed and felt shunned. Do to that experience and people avoiding her afterward for fear of being burned she has a desperate need to be accepted by people. Mutation: Bird-man. Sergey's mutation is that he has some properties of birds. Instead of having hair he has feathers and his skin is smooth. From the waist up he looks relatively normal (aside from the feather hair and smooth hairless skin) from the waist down his legs are what make him extremely odd. His thighs are thick and muscled, but he has two 'knees' giving him bend back legs that end in large 3 toed bird feet that end in claws. He does not have wings. His legs allow him to jump higher as well as run faster (though it's not super speed) and he has hawk like eyes that allow him to see farther at greater detail.
Appearance: Sergey stands at full height ( legs fully extended ) at around seven foot. When not extended, and walking normally he's around six foot. His eyes are yellow with large pupils, like hawk eyes and there are dark circles under his eyes that help to cut out on the glare of the sun. His feathers are a red, blue, green, bronze, and purple in no discernible pattern just seeming to be chose random as to what color it wanted to be. His skin is pale but hardened by the Russian winter climate but his legs are scaly and tinted purple on top of his normal skin tone with black claws. He usually wears button up dress shirts and shorts since shorts are the only things he can get his legs into and be comfortable. He has a heavy russian accent.
Personality: Sergey is extremely irritable, especially when it comes to hyper and/or ditzy/clueless people. He is a very stiff person, but he does have a sense of humor. He is disrespectful towards women, thinking that they are weaker than he for the simple fact that he is male and they are female.
History: Sergey was born and raised in moscow by his father who he developed his attitude towards women from. He and his father got along fairly well until his mutation started to take manifestation. First his hair began to fall out, and when it was completely gone the feathers began to grow in. His father took him to the hospital when it first started demanding to know what was wrong with his son. When they came back with the results that he was part of the growing mutant population in the world his father disowned him stating that his mother had always slept around on him and that he wasn't his son. He dumped him into the hands of russian governments scientists (he was 13 at the time) and so when the rest of his mutation took form he was alone being watched by them. It was painful as some of the bones had to break to reform into the new ones that his new bird legs needed to make them strong, and they gave him no kind of sedative to get through it. When they could finally learn no more from him they released him in Moscow and disappeared. He was confused and disoriented and for a long while slept in the alleys and scavenged to dumpsters for food. An elderly couple found him when he was 15 rooting through there garbage for food one evening. He thought they would call the police or threaten him away with a gun but they merely smiled and took him in gave him a real meal, a bath, and a place to sleep, inviting him to stay with them as long as he helped the old women around the house. It was difficult at first as he was obstinate and rude to the women, eventually he came round and was respectful to her and they cared for him as a son. They were the ones who suggested Pacis Salus to him, saying it might be a good step for him since he hadn't attended school in a long time. He thanked them for there kindness and agreed to attend.
thymeast22 Name: Aki Sarasri Codename: Frost Age: 16 Gender: female Mutation: The ability to manipulate cold. She can remove it, add it, manipulate the form it comes in... Because of this she rarely is cold, and is susceptible to heat/fire. She can pull and add a small amount of cold to and from objects. Basically, the extent of her power now is to melt an ice cube in five seconds or warm someone up. She can also manipulate where cold is, though not very well. Appearance: Aki's fairly average, weighing 120 and standing at 5'5". She has pale, almost-gray blue eyes, comparable to ice at times, and long, pale blond hair, usually pulled back in a pony tail with her bangs escaping and in her face or behind an ear. She usually wears jeans or short and a tank-top, no matter the weather or what she's supposed to wear. Ears pierced three times in the lobe and right cartilage. Her cartilage is usually full of hoops, while she wears a variety of other earrings. She usually also has several rings, bracelets, and a thin wire necklace on. Personality: Usually sarcastic, distant, somewhat cold. She's always been rebellious, and rarely takes 'no' as an answer. Very sarcastic, blunt, and full of attitude. She can be a pain to deal with at first, though she's sweeter, somewhat, once she knows and likes a person. She's very protective, and quick to temper. Though, unlike most people, she gets deadly calm, instead of hot. History: She grew up in a small town in Oregon with 2.5 siblings and two 'loving' parents. They didn't know what to do with a child who refused to obey and constantly skipped school, even though she did well when she actually went. They sent her to private school after private school, hoping someone would be able to control her. Nothing worked, it only made her worse. Eventually, in one of their "Family bonding vacations", they went skiing in the mountains. However, a blizzard came through at that moment. She was caught outside for days, at which point the cold seeped into her. Strangely, it didn't kill her. But her parents trying to warm her up almost did. They realized she was one of the mutants, and immediately shipped her off to Pacis Salus, glad to be rid of her.
Skreemer Name: Huilliame De Corbeau Codename: Indigo Age: 17 Gender: Male Mutation: Chameleon Skin, Silent Feet. His skin is able to adapt to his surroundings, blending in with the colour with extension to a sixth sense that registers the colours, tone and texture. His feet are covered in a bizarre callus that is both incredibly tough and soft at the same time. Appearance: Huilliame stands at six feet and two inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has deep blue eyes, skin and hair. His hair is mid length and kept in a short pony tail. He dresses in knee high black leather boots, tight black trousers, a black shirt and a short black jacket. Personality: A split case, Huilliame displays traits of two seemingly very different personalities. One is that of a serious, older man, being a decisive, level headed leader, the other being a light hearted, if slightly morbid prankster. A notable example of this is a tendency to exhume his neighbors deceased pet cats and turning them into puppets. History: A Cajun and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, Huilliame was born with the primary mutation of his dark blue skin, evolving his chameleon traits and silent, padded feet with the onset of puberty. He was trained by his cousins as a hunter in the swamps of Louisiana, where his split personality developed to cope with the long, often very lonely and harsh conditions in the swamps and the contrast to the war, homely atmosphere he experienced with his brothers.
Panpear Name: Kazuko Yoko Codename: Kappa Age: 16 Gender: Female Mutation: Kazuko has the ability to breathe underwater, and to some extent, manipulate water. Her physical appearance has mutated to ease movement underwater (leaving the side effect of hindered movement on land). Webbing grew between all her fingers and toes, and her toes have elongated by a few inches. It is comfortable for her to spread out her toes, making her feet effective flippers for swimming. A dorsal fin has also grown on her back, much like a fish's. She can extend it slightly to reach a peak range of approximately half a foot, though when folded it only protrudes a few inches. Her ears have morphed into a fin-like formation, letting her hear underwater clearly. More importantly, gills have appeared on either side of her neck, allowing her to breathe underwater. They function on a separate system than her normal breathing, so she can hold the gills shut while on land, and hold her breath while in water. She is able to breath in both salt and fresh water, though she prefers fresh water. The gills are sensitive to chemicals, so she can't breath underwater in highly polluted or chlorinated water. Her ability to manipulate water is limited. She can move water without touching it, by making motions with her hands and/or arms. The water only moves in the general direction that she indicates, creating currents or larger jets of water. Usually she uses this ability to help her swim faster, or to quickly dry herself off by directing the water downwards. Appearance: Kazuko is a tall one, standing a little shy of 5'10''. She's physically fit, having trained as a gymnast before the mutation took place, and swam a good deal afterward. Besides the fin and gill mutations, some of her skin has changed to a blue color, with a scaly texture. These streaks of skin are on the out surfaces of her arms, legs, and shoulders, creeping up the sides of her neck. Her straight hair is also a darker blue in hue, which she wears at shoulder length. It's long enough so she could pull it back into a ponytail. Her eyes are a dark brown. As for clothing, she prefers to wear looser garments that cover her well- the only time she is in tight clothing is when doing gymnastics or other physical activities. Personality: Kazuko is a bit of a prude. She doesn't like breaking rules (on purpose), nor does she like it when others do so. She doesn't speak much; not out of shyness, but because there isn't much to say. While she does appreciate the occasional joke, you won't find her laughing out loud. Kazuko is irritated by a multitude of things, such as bullies, people who belittle her or others, and chaos in general. She'll try to keep a level head in most situations, though she is quick to anger when she gets nervous. She may seem meaner than she really is, because of her serious and competitive nature. History: Kazuko was born in Japan, in the countryside not far from Kyoto. Her father was from America, and had met her mother while he was an exchange student in Japan. They fell in love, and were soon married. He even adopted Kazuko's mother's family name of Yoko, much to her and their delight. The plan was that they both would live in Japan, but a few years after Kazuko was born, her father got word that his mother had taken ill. Being an only child, he felt obligated to go take care of her, and so their family moved to Oregon. It was there that Kazuko received much of her education, though during the summers she would go with her Mom to Japan, to visit relatives and catch up with her Japanese. Kazuko participated in many of the activities young ones do, but her most favorite was gymnastics. She would practice almost constantly, whenever her Mom or Dad could take her to the training facility. She took it very seriously, and by the time she was 14, she was competing nationally. Her parents weren't too sure they wanted her to focus so much on the sport, having wanted her to do better in her academics, but encouraged her nevertheless. And her mother was getting stressed from having to take her daughter to this practice and that competition while her father had to stay and care for his mother. In some cases she would outright refuse to take Kazuko to competitions because of the cost and distance. Kazuko even entertained thoughts of qualifying for the Olympics, until she finally hit that 'wonderful time in a girl's life'. She shot up almost instantly from a short little thing a little under 5 feet to near 6 feet in only a few months, making it difficult for her to perform moves that she once did. Kazuko figured she must've gotten her dad's genes, as everyone on her mom's side was quite short, but her dad tall. The change in her body's size set back her training a bit. She didn't completely give up on her Olympic dreams until the mutations started to take place. It was near the end of her sophomore year at school. At first she didn't notice, but when she started to loose grip because of the skin between her fingers getting larger, she showed her parents. They took her to the doctor. It was there that the gills appeared, which was very confusing to Kazuko at first. She spend several days at a hospital because of that. By the time the mutations finished, Kazuko felt that she couldn't do gymnastics again. Her parents tried to convince her otherwise, but the mutations disheartened her, especially since it was harder to get around. To cheer her up, they spent quite a bit of time encouraging her to do other activities, including long swims in the nearby lake. It made her feel a little better, and she became more accustomed to her mutation. It was her grandparents in Japan that first found out about Pacis Salis, and immediately contacted Kazuko's parents. They thought it was a great idea, and Kazuko did too, as she was not looking forward to going back to her school looking like a freak. She wouldn't have let it get to her, and of course her best friends didn't really care, but it would nice to meet others who were like her.
Kikiama Name: Marie Jakemen Codename: Siren Age: 17 Gender: Female Mutation: Siren as dictionaries describe “a seductively beautiful or charming woman, esp. one who beguiles men, particularly with singing.” Marie’s mutation is a deviation of the ideal of “sirens”. Through specific word pattern and iambic pentameter, she can hypnotize those around her or a certain person depending on her concentration. While, it is easier to hypnotize one person, if others are within hearing range they are also affected. So, it is harder to specifically effect only one person in a room of many people. Iambic pentameter is a rhyming scale used by many famous Renaissance poets and after, including the famous Shakespeare. It is a 10 syllable line switch from soft or loud inflection with each syllable. An example: “ When I do count the clock that tells the time,” (Shakespeare, Sonnet 12, line 1) “ Shall I compare thee to a summers day,” (Shakespeare, Sonnet 18, line 1) Marie does not need to say a 10 syllables, but it does need to be and even number for the proper inflection. More commonly, Marie will use Spanish because of its natural speaking pattern. An example: “ Sientate” which is the Spanish command “Sit yourself”. An example of a non-working command is “ Quitate” [Trans: Remove from yourself] which only has 3 syllables. This can be corrected by being my specific and adding a word to finish the pattern. Even if the target does not know Spanish whatsoever, they will do as told until the action is complete, or the link between the minds is broken through the object concentration or Marie’s on concentration is disturbed. The most important part is the pattern taking the mind and then Marie merely controls with her own mind. The words help with making her concentrate, so going “ Lalalalalala” does not work. Singing, is much more effective for Marie, with its tunes and patterns, but is not as efficient as speaking in rhythm. So, singing is more powerful, but not as easy to do right on the spot. Appearance: Marie’s father is English and her mother Spanish. She has her mother’s olive skin and dark, dark brown, wavy hair, and her father’s forest green eyes. Her build is hour-glassed shaped and lives up to the curves of the mythological characters she is associated with. She has a dancer’s body was well and moves with the softness then dancers have in choosing the right step. She stands at about 5’6” with her hair being extraordinarily long and reaching her mid back. Personality: Marie, now, may seem shy because of her almost mute attitude. She is very careful about picking her words and phrases, even in simple conversation. Some may take her for being slow witted, or dumb, because she sometimes even has to sound out words to make sure nothing happens to the listener. She tends to be frustrated by that, because she is actually quite talkative and if she lets her guard she will chat away. She is friendly and almost acts like a mother to others. Marie is also very driven in the arts; cooking, dance, art, theatre and music. She loves to sing and express herself, but must do so alone in fear of effecting others. This is a conflict for her because there is nothing she would like more than to sing to someone and be praised for her talent. History: Marie’s powers became aware when she was 13 and had been given the wonderful grace known as “woman-hood”. She was in Spain with her family, as they lived there every summer and lived the school years in England. Her father, being the Headmaster of Oakridge School for Boys, had the summer luxury of being able to stay 2 months in Spain every year as Marie’s mother missed her large family and home so. That fine, monumental day was spent with Marie lying in bed getting know her new discover “Aunt”, rolling in pain and complaining to her mother. The cramps because severe enough to drive tears as her mother smooth her hair and chat with Marie about her experiences and other “coming of age” tales and mother would share with her daughter at this time. Marie had groaned with tears in her eyes, “Porfavor… Alguien matame…” [Trans: Please… Someone kill me…] Then two hands wrapped around Marie’s neck and within moments Marie’s was fighting for air against her mother’s grip. More emotion driven, Marie gasped for breath uttering random and unfinished word of confusion, despair and resistance before finally saying, “! Mama! ! Para!” [Trans: Mom! Stop!] Marie’s mother’s face soften before becoming horror sicken with what position she awoke in and the tears streaming down her daughters face. They first went towards medical help for her mother, but nothing was wrong with her. And as time passed, other things alike happened. When telling people to do things, for some reason they would actually do it. Telling a bully to shut up, or messing around and stating as a joke to her father for him to give her €1,000. He did, with an odd look in his eye, and soon all the pieces came together. She didn’t speak for over a year and a half, until she was finally found that her place was with the mutants at Pacis Salus.

He can only do transfer physical injuries. Emotional damage is out-of-bounds. If he hasn't gotten treated for damage he has already taken through his ability, he cannot use it again, until treatment is administered. Has recently developed the ability to heal the wounds that he transfers to his body, almost instantly. The worse an injury is, the longer it takes to completely mend. Appearance: SamPersonality: Sam is very outgoing and friendly. He is always willing to help a friend in need. He has also been known to get lost in thought, particularly when he's writing in his notebook. Sam hates being called Sarah. History: Sam was expected to be born a girl, so his parents went ahead and put the name "Sarah Amethyst Marie O'Reilly" on his birth certificate. Unfortunately, since it was his legal name, Sam was forced to live his childhood with the constant teasing that comes with being a boy with a girl's name. Even when he started going by "Sam", the taunting didn't stop. The day after his thirteenth birthday, the girl on whom he had a crush was nearly killed in a car accident right in front of his house. He rushed to her aid as quickly as he could. He yelled for someone to call for help and held the dying girl in his arms. When the paramedics arrived, there were no injuries on the girl. Instead, they found the damage on Sam's body. They were baffled, but took him to the ER regardless. Sam woke up seven days later, his first question being, "Where's Amy?". The doctor silently pointed to the chair next to the hospital bed. The girl was sleeping in it. He smiled and laid back down to make sense of the previous week's events. Then, it dawned on him; he was a mutant. Within the next week, Sam was shipped off to the Pacis Salus School of Mutants. The only reminder of his past life was a single picture of Amy, the girl he loved.

Mutation: Inviability Appearance: link Medium height 5'3 to be exact, Dark green eyes that change to blue when she uses her powers. She is generally a darker person in mindset she wears black skirts and purple or green shirts depending on her mood. Black stockings and mary jane shoes Personality: She is a quiet person usually rather soft spoken as well unless she finds a debate that she feel requires her input or two cents. She will stand up for things she believes in even if it is a minor stand up. She has a hard time making friends but when she does they are friends that last. History: She is adopted and her parents were a bit startled when they saw that she was mutating. It became a big thing when she began to disappear. She was soon sent to the school. She didn't really come fully into her abilities until she was 13 only ever having seen little glimpses of it before like the afore mentioned. She dislikes sweet things preferring things to be bitter or sour particularly in candy. She wasn't much liked as a child by her classmates which has left her somewhat vulnerable around new people. She is one to want to make a good impression but also one to make herself as small as possible so others don't notice her it really depends on how she is feeling. It soon became a problem when she would just make herself inviable and people couldn't find her. Her parents have since grown rather distant which saddened her somewhat but she is willing for a new start.
HephaestusOS Name: Malcolm Tiberius Codename: Corpse Age: 16 Gender: Male Mutation: Bone Construction With a normal skinless appearance, Mal has the ability to grow bones from any other bone on his body. He can grow hard, flat bones for defense or sharp bones to use as weapons. These bones can either be snapped off and used for other purposes, or they can be retracted into his body. Mal has an incredibly strong immune system, making him less susceptible to disease and infection. With skin, this would make him a walking immunity, but without skin, this merely enables him to function in a way that's closer to normal. Appearance:Mal appears as a skinless human. He has ears, eyes, lips and a nose, as well as several other non-muscular body parts, but he's mostly just covered in muscles. With exposed muscles, clothing has become uncomfortable, so he prefers to wear as little as possible. Personality: Mal is smart and kind, but knows when to say 'no'. He likes everyone to be happy, but always follows by his own moral compass. Unfortunately, sometimes his moral compass doesn't exactly align with the law. He's sarcastic and aware of his own intelligence, making him seem condescending sometimes. Since the onset of his mutation, he's retracted into himself more, making him quieter and less involved. He often tries to be sneaky and quiet like his favorite animal: a cat. Unfortunately for him, his mutation has made this very difficult. History: Mal was born in America as the son of a janitor. His mother died giving birth to him, leaving his father to raise him and his three siblings alone. He was the youngest, but he was often more help around the house than his siblings. In grief, his father became an alcoholic shortly after Mal's birth. Much smarter than his brothers and sisters, Mal excelled in every subject at school, then came home and helped his father with whatever needed doing. As a young boy, Mal often acted superior to his siblings. He acted as a parent for them, whether they needed a mother or a father at the time. Their mother had died and their father was never around. Mal's sister May, the oldest by five years, often teased about how strange it was that he was the parent when she should be. But she was a partier. Leaving all responsibilities to other people, she went out drinking and dancing once she started high school. At the time, Mal was only in second grade, but he often took care of her when she came home late. In her junior year, May died in a car accident. Now in a state of constant depression, Mal's father fell further into alcoholism. Vowing that they'd never become like their sister, Mal's other siblings, Mark and Marie studied as hard as they could, concentrating all of their time on school. Being twins, they were inseparable and they graduated a year early so that they could further their education and become high-paying doctors. Now alone with his dad, Mal became lonely. With few friends, he often became lonely. Walking home from school one day, he found a sickly cat on the side of the street. He took it in and cared for it, nurturing it back to health. But during his freshman year, Mal's skin began peeling off. By the end of the semester, the only remaining skin was in patches. He dropped out of high school and began tutoring himself with textbooks that he checked out from the library. The only thing keeping him sane was Lucy, his cat. Luckily, his father never noticed due to his continually drunken state. In the beginning of what should have been his sophomore year, Mal stopped wearing clothes altogether and he only left the house when he absolutely needed to. Around this time, he also discovered that he could grow bones. At Christmas time of that year, his father found out. Declaring that he wanted to help his son, he worked on getting a better job than being a janitor and started going to AA meetings. It wasn't until Mal's junior year that he first learned about Pacis Salus.
oOMyMelodyOo Name: Candice Centennial Codename: Candy Age:16 Gender:female Mutation: Candice has a unique mutation. it's very useless most the time since she hasn't fully grasped how to control but she works hard to. Her mutation is very uncomfortable and due to her DNA alteration it increased the release of a pheromone in her body. The release of attraction pheromones making both girls and boys feel attracted to her but only when she is around. She can't control the release and it never rests so she always has to live with the annoyance of everyone wanting to be her 'best friend'. She contains it with special medicines but it only works for a few hours and can only be taken once a day. Appearance:Candice Personality:Candice is really sarcastic, but has a very adorable personality. She loves anything cute. Her favorite animals are rabbits so she is always wearing rabbit themed clothing. She is very jumpy and easy to scare but when you start to talk to her she can get very serious and meaningful. she loves to talk to others and is one of those people you feel you can tell anything about. If you ask her friends they will tell you one thing. "You don't want to run into her in a dark alley after she goes through a break up." History: Candice was always the girl that went for the gold, she was top in her class, and very bright, She was one of the most athletic and strong. around the age of twelve she began changing and it was more than just puberty. Her mother took her to the doctors they ran tests only to find she had a DNA mutation. At first all her pheromones seemed to be out of whack. Everyone seemed to like her and she grew a lot. After being sent every which way by the government for many extensive tests she found herself in a facility being asked ridiculous questions. After word got around everyone began fighting with her, no one wanted to be her friend and she began chronically depressed and her pheromones making it even worse.
Electric Kool-Aid Name:Elaina ("Laina" to her family) Cybil Thanati Codename:Askew Age:17 Gender:Female Mutation:Elaina's mutation allows her to perform painless dislocation of almost all of her joints. She is limited by her muscular structure, organ location, and joint location. For instance, she can't compress her rib cage (there are no joints in the sides and it'd endanger her heart), and if she dislocates her elbow, dislocating her fingers and wrists would be much more difficult because it is harder to control the motion of dislocated joints. However is she starts with her fingers and works up the arm it is possible. This gives her increased flexibility and contortion, which in turn can let her get into small and awkward spaces. Joints are composed of two (or more bones), cartilage which reduces friction between bones, synovial membranes (also for lubrication), ligaments and tendons. Ligaments surround joints and to support it and limit its motion. They are flexible and strong. Elaina's ligaments are naturally stretchier than the average humans. In normal humans, joint dislocation always damages ligaments. Elaina's ligaments are more flexible and thus stretch more easily as opposed to becoming strained. Ligaments also support the joint, in Elaina's case, even when it is out of socket. This puts extra strain on the cartilage but allows her to maintain some structure and motion, although it is limited. While out of joint, motion is somewhat impaired, and as a rule of thumb, she tries to always keep one hand complete, to be able to fully realign the joints she does dislocate. Because her ligaments are more flexible, even if someone else forces a joint out of place it would not be painful for her, unless it is done in such a way that the bones grind (for example popping a finger out and then trying to force it into the wrong place). She is also working on being able to resist change that others inflict, because if she gets hit with something, she's likely to dislocate something.Due to the shape of vertebrae, spinal dislocation is much more difficult. Vertebrae are much more likely to interlock as opposed to slip past one another. Elaina is able to dislocate her back, although it is very hazardous to her well-being, as many important nerves (particularly those related to reflexes) travel through the spinal column. Elaina has found that through training the human body is naturally flexible enough that it is not worth risking extreme permanent damage to her nervous system. This kind of belongs to the idea that just because a door is open doesn't mean you should go through it. Even so, Elaina is temped trying to improve her flexibility and testing her boundaries.
Prolonged periods of dislocation result in inflammation especially of the cartilage. She is more susceptible to long term damage while her joints are out of place. Although it has yet to occur, it is assumed that if broken, her bones would knit the same as a regular humans, so she'd need surgery or a cast. Elaina's bones have no set recovery period, but she is prone to repetitive stress injuries and inflammation the more often she performs dislocations. Appearance:Elaina has the build of a gymnast, mostly because her ability requires her to maintain that body type. She keeps her curly black hair about shoulder length so it can be tied back when she's cramped in a small place. She has gentle brown eyes in an olive toned face, which is complimented by sharp features like those you typically see on pixies in old picture books. Her vision is not the best and so Elaina wears thin framed, rectangular glasses most of the time, and occasionally contacts. Elaina is also almost embarrassingly slight of frame, and this fact combined with her tendency to dress for comfort and flexibility rather than style result in a somewhat androgynous appearance much to her chagrin. Personality:Elaina is optimistic nearly to the point of naivety. She seeks to find the best in people, and rarely expects that someone would try to do her harm. She gets frustrated easily and hates to feel like she isn't useful. She doesn't usually get really angry, but if she does, she generally stops speaking and regresses into herself. When she's happy, her wit is fast and she has a strange sarcastic sense of humor, compared to the rest of her very open and gentle demeanor. She is fairly submissive and takes criticism easily. She lets others take the lead in almost all aspects of her life. Elaina is soft spoken and almost rabbit like in that she can be skittish and shy around new people, but once she gets to know someone she gives them complete trust. She can be almost painfully shy around new people, and it takes her awhile to open up. History:It happened by accident at first, she was 12 and she'd been sliding down the banister of her family's suburban home when she lost her balance and tumbled unceremoniously down the stairs. Her mother, hearing her shout of surprise, had found Elaina in a contorted heap at the base of the stairs. Elaina was in no serious pain and was in the process of getting up and dusting herself off when she realized that her left shoulder didn't feel quite right. "Laina! Doesn't that hurt?!" her mother had asked in a quiet horrified voice, pointing a shaking finger at Elaina's shoulder. Elaina shrugged her shoulders. One shoulder rather, as her left one remained stationary. Her mother gave her a strange look and helped her press the bones back into place. "That would've made a grown man cry like a baby..." her mother had whispered to herself. Elaina felt a little sick to her stomach and completely forgot why she'd come downstairs. Shivering a bit, she returned to her room, sitting on the bed and hugging her knees. After collecting as much courage as she had, she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and experimentally stretched her forefinger out and backwards. There was a soft "pop!" when she opened her eyes the finger jutted out from her hand at a sickening angle. Fighting down the urge to scream, Elaina used her other hand to realign the bones, before curling up in a ball on the bed terrified that her internal structure usually there to support her, would simply melt away. After a discussion with her parents, Elaina was enrolled in the Pacis Salus school, where she has begun to learn to better control her abilities and use them in a productive way. Her dislocations no longer terrify her. Her friends also took advantage of her laid back attitude and the fact that she rarely intentionally enters into conflict, and while not using her, they simply assumed that she would always back them up. In a way she became everyone's sidekick.

Scythe de Zaran Name: Will Descythe Codename: Maestro Age: 17 Gender: Straight Male Mutation: Will has ability to manipulate sound, mainly relating to his voice. Currently with his voice, he is able to shatter walls and objects within at most an 8 feet distance, but he can't always control when it happens. He’s not the typical singer who can only shatter glass within a small distance by matching the resonating frequency of glass. He can also change his voice to great lengths and even appear to sound like feminine, however depending on how far away the voice is from his normal voice, the less time he will be able to maintain it consistently. He is also able to modify the volume of his voice widely. However, his ability is useless if he is unable to make noises with his mouth. Appearance: Standing at 5’ 8’’ at a weight of 125 pounds, Will has blonde hair, emeraldy/ very green eyes. His hair is loose and kempt. His eyes usually sparkle with playfulness. He appears quite playful. He can appear innocent or mean, depending on what sort of outlook he wants. Usually, he appears lighthearted. He decided that appearing mean was only something he wanted to do to keep others away or hide secrets. Will’s body is well toned in muscle. His skin is pale and delicate. If he dyed his hair a dark color, his skin would appear ghostly pale. When Will smiles innocently/sweetly, it is a very welcoming smile that many find quite friendly. As for clothes, Will is modest. He will usually wear neat jeans and a plain colored t shirt that may or may not have random slogans on it. Personality: Mischievous. Enough said. Outgoing and spontaneous at times, Will loves to prank others and cause strife. The fact is that he is slightly sadistic and masochist to some extent if he feels the need to be. Although straight, Will does not mind fooling others into believing otherwise. It’s all a game to him, and he’s quite an actor. One could call him a “lady’s man” as well. History: Will’s ability was not discovered until he sang out a party and became annoyed in the middle of the song. His voice suddenly changed and blew the wall next to him into pieces, frightening everyone present, and damaging the family’s reputation. Of course, he didn't realize what exactly had happened at that point. The family had no choice but to send Will to Pacis Salus, despite his protests. He nearly flattened part of his house by accident when he was taken away. Will comes from a wealthy upper middle class family in the United States. His father is a successful businessman, who opened up his own trading company, first based on weapon making then expanding into more merchandise and goods. The company flourishes now. Will is the second born child. Cameron(the father) and Keladri’s(the mother) first born son(Kent, a bright engineer) was killed in a riot, and the second born daughter(Selis) is a well known musician. Music runs in the family and although, Will despises music, he finds that he enjoys playing an instrument by himself alone. Of the three children, Will was given the least attention because of his successful siblings. His parents pampered him at times, but not enough for him. He thus resorted to pranks to get attention and to amuse himself. Once, he even managed to dress up as his sister and pose at her, completely embarrassing her at a concert. She was part of a concert and before her performance, Will ran up to the stage and … acted strangely, completely bewildering the audience. Selis had to come out, drag him off the stage, then apologize before beginning her performance. Will began learning martial arts after his brother’s death, realizing that he had to be able to defend himself. Overly arrogant at times and way too mischievous, sometimes Will can find himself in awkward/troublesome situations not knowing how to act exactly. He hates music, yet he likes to play music by himself. In other words, he can be easily criticized for some of his hypocrisy. As for instruments, Will is very proficient in the piano, the violin, and trumpet. He can sing well, but is wary of it due to possible mishaps. Sports-wise, Will likes tennis and soccer. He can’t draw for his life. Zahzi Name: Zahzi Ahzai Codename: Lynkreiget Age: 18 Gender: Male Mutation: Electrokenesis. Electricity runs through his body in a way that he can control it at will. This includes absorbing electricity from lights, to cars, to even transformers. He can discharge this energy as an attack. At the moment, he can only go for so long, before becoming exhausted from only ten-to-fifteen minutes of constant use, no matter how much energy he absorbes. Appearance: [Z] Personality: Sarcastic, laid-back, and friendly. He treats everyone around him like an equal. This does not mean he doesn't have some tendencies of violence, if something gets out of hand, though... History: Born in Norway; He lived a normal life, until his mutation became more and more apparent. It became obvious to everyone else, when a thunderstom continually hit the same spot over, and over again. This spot was where Zahzi had been sitting. His family was more amazed than frightened at this event, and tried to hide it the best the could, but to no avail. He was believed to be some form of reincarnation of the Norse God, Odin, and was treated with respect. Unfortunately, Zahzi would rather have been treated like an equal, and searched far and wide for such a place, even if it was for only a short time.
Lord Andarel Name: Erensii Rosale Codename: Justice Age: 17 Gender: Male Mutation: Justice - Erensii's brain and body reacts strongly to his thoughts, blindly. Normally this gives him just a slightly enhanced intuition: he is good at reading what people will do and say. However, its main effect works off of instinct: When he strongly disagrees with something or is given orders to do something, basically whenever his mind is totally focused on achieving one task, his thoughts pretty much shut down (his mind is focused only on what he last believed he had to do) and he gains extreme speed and strength along with a focus on completing that particular task. In addition, his skin and muscular structure is reinforced by a sort of natural internal shielding - his skin is hard to cut through and he has some resistance to internal injury; however, he can still take damage and only weighs so much - sending him flying is not extremely hard. When carrying out Justice he has a resistance to pain (his mind simply registers it less as it is fully taken up by his goal) and is hard to affect mentally with either powers or any sort of mental link - pleas, bringing back memories, etc., barely work to stop or distract him. -Justice triggers will increase his speed and strength, but not tremendously. His strength in that form is between 2 and 3 times that of a typical (reasonably strong) adult, perhaps 1.5-2 times that of a weightlifter. His top speed is around 30-35mph. -He will almost never talk when Justice is active. The only exception is at the last moment, when it is fading. -He will rarely to never activate Justice to protect strangers, and it will not trigger off of something he was told about. He has to be there for him to get enough of a reason to go after someone. -His focus lasts for forty-five to an hour, tops. Usually fifteen to twenty. After that, he will burn out and go into a recovery state - the longer he has used his power the longer and more painful this state will be. At its worst it varies from severe soreness to dizziness and occasionally unconsciousness. He'll also go into this while wounded during Justice or otherwise: he is far from invincible...rather, almost every time it has happened he has hurt himself since he has little regard for his own safety. Appearance: Slightly tanned, Erensii is muscular but not heavily so - that of a person his age who works out regularly. He has extremely harsh eyes and features, and his hair is already gray, falling straight down and back for about an inch. The most noticeable things about his body are the sharpness of his features and the jagged white scars that cover his hands from when his power manifested - usually his strength shields him from harm, but before his body had adjusted he broke through a wood-and-metal wall, severely injuring the skin on his hands. He always wears long pants with a black trim around the bottom hem and a short-sleeved shirt with buttons all the way to the bottom, as well as a small, golden, circular earring on each of his ears. The most noticeable way to see if his power is active is that, while it is going, his body is constantly restless and his eyes glaze over. Personality: The dominant force in Erensii's personality is an extremely strict moral code - he believes in a tangle of religious ideologies and spends a strict time per day, ranging from ten minutes to an hour, in personal prayer. He is not against violence but believes it should be a last resort unless being used to prevent more violence: a trigger that is perhaps the most common cause of his Justice. His moral codes are based off of any of a list of things, primarily, though, keeping respect for the items, thoughts, well-being, and personality of other people: he has absolutely nothing wrong with debate and agreement, but if he feels himself or anyone else is unfairly being taken advantage of he will step in. That said, he is extremely loyal - first to his superiors, then to his code of morals and to his friends and allies. Even then, though, there is nobody strictly exempted from his Justice - he feels very little remorse or regret for actions performed while his power is active. He hates being looked down on and will not hesitate to tell someone that unless he feels it's not worth it: for example, if he did deserve it. As part of his lifestyle he has an open mind to people and is an excellent listener; however, he is extremely brusque and will not hesitate to tell people exactly what is on his mind. Intelligent, he has had modesty drilled into him from an early age and will follow authority unless he has a strong reason to do otherwise; however, this is the rule he is most likely to break if he sees it necessary. As a friend he is extremely loyal - his beliefs include that those who would stand up for you deserve the same in kind, but it is always a risk: if his friends have something that happens against them that would trigger his Justice, he needs to be told by them immediately if he should not react or else he will go after the other person. Key things that would set him off: "Disrespect" for the belongings, well-being, opinions, thoughts, or privacy of another - Robbery, arson, insulting, and in extreme cases, murder or anything like it, which would be promptly repaid in kind. As well, he follows certain religious tenets; mainly the idea that life should not be wasted (if he would take major harm for a reason that would not trigger his power, this reason will activate it to protect him) and that all people shoud choose to accept the choices of others. He believes in a sort of eye-for-an-eye, where everything is repaid in kind: this is not minimal, as any sort of "crime" that does permanent damage to someone's life could be repaid with anything from permanent disabling to death. He is not a very kind person, though he believes the weak should be looked after from anything unfair. If he breaks one of his own rules he will spend time in silent penance and solitude unless he can justify to himself good reasons for why he did so. However, he holds himself to excessively strict standards, and so that is difficult for him to do. History: Erensii was born into a highly religious family, though they were not of the same religion. With a Catholic mother and Jewish father, he quickly had religion and systems of "organized belief" become an incredibly powerful part of his life. For the first twelve years of his life he received strict education in both religions, and since then carries a book containing the main sacred texts of the two, written out in his own hand, with him at all times (primarily hanging from a chain around his waist. The only time he does not wear it is when he knows he will need to fight, and so does not want to risk it getting damaged. If it is harmed intentionally he will react with extreme violence, accidentally will usually not trigger Justice). His mutation began to take its shape when he turned thirteen and was given the traditional coming-of-age ceremony: a week later he was threatened in school and, very coolly, turned around and told the person to never insult him again. This was, however, done without thinking; he did not mean to do so or have any intention of carrying it out. However, over the next three years he grew more and more strictly moral, and at fifteen was his first true manifestation: his mother was warned that she would have to sell a part of the church's lands, and she refused to do so. When he heard that there were possible criminal reasons he was furious, and even though the event blew over he had lashed out once at how little he could do - that one moment left a permanent dent in the metal outer wall of his house. His real awakening, though, was fairly typical: when he was 16, a man stole the bike of a friend of his and was riding off on it behind the wood-and-metal wall of a construction site. Running to stop him, Erensii smashed his fists and body through the wall and barreled into the man, knocking him unconscious and breaking one of his arms (as well as, unfortunately, the bike). His powers occasionally triggered afterwards, usually in minor ways: only once, when someone attempted suicide and he blindly stepped in to save their life, did it trigger in full - mainly because the life he lived was fairly normal. Since then his power has developed to the point that it will trigger whenever he feels strong emotion about something being wrong or being told to do something. As of three months ago it was determined by his parents that he should go to a place where he had less of a chance of harming those around him, as he had not yet realized that human beings are not inherently as moral as he, perhaps blindly, believes. And so, it was arranged and just carried out that he was to be sent to Pacis Salus before he caused even more serious harm to someone. Notes: Erensii always keeps a book with him containing handwritten transcriptions of various religious texts, primarily the entire Torah and New Testament. As well, various other excerpts have been added in, from Chinese references to the worship of nature and Confucian ideals to Jungian writings on dreams he merely found interesting. Any thoughts he has that he feels he should add to his beliefs he will write in. Hesitant on showing it to people, he is fiercely protective of it and if it would be damaged his power will instantly activate to protect it. Because of his education, he is fluent in English, Latin, and Hebrew and knows a small amount of Chinese and Arabic. Teachers are All Player Characters, however, please follow the guidelines the creator of the character puts up so they know their characters are being played right. The HeadmistressDisturbing Tale Teller Name: Sarah Kinley Codename: Mood Age: 28 Gender: Female Mutation: Feelings Empathy- Sarah can change the mood of a crowd of people on a dime. Usually, she uses her powers to calm upset students, or to help break up fights. She's able to do large crowds, like say an Auditorium full of people, as she trained extensively when obtaining her powers. Often, though, she is limited only to one or two students at a time when they come to her office. Appearance: Tall, around 6'2", with lightly tanned skin, faded gray eyes, and long, wavy, black hair. Her smile is almost blinding, but always cheerful and pleasant to look at. She wears simple, flattering, business outfits, including light colors in range of skirts, pants, coats, and blouses. Personality: Sarah is cheerful almost always, and is always ready to make someone feel better, or be happy. When things go wrong, she keeps on a straight head and works to fix the problem. When angry, she seems deadly calm, though the tone of her voice can grow harsh. She rarely punishes a student unless they were doing something that could've hurt another. History: Sarah was apart of the first generation of mutants, and went through extensive medical research to understand and train her powers. She became the headmistress of Pacis Salus, along with other first generations, and strives to make sure every student is happy, healthy, and generally knowledgeable about their mutations without having to be tested on in labs. Sarah is the only faculty that remains on campus the entire time. Her office has a small staircase in the back that leads up to her room, which is one of the few in the Office building. She has no problems with students coming to her with any problems, and is more then happy to solve them for them. She also helps take care of the Gecko population of the island, and is sometimes found feeding large groups of them at a time. Training Instructor:Skreemer Name: Mikael Kristefelden Codename: Odin Age: 65 Gender: Male Mutation: Super Strength: His muscles are enhanced with both his genetic template grafts and training in extreme circumstances Healing Factor:He has the ability to recover from grievous wounds, provided he takes his supplements of what he calls the golden apple serum. This also keeps him from aging physically past his forties Appearance: Standing six foot seven, he has one stunning blue eye, the other kept under an eye patch, having given it up for "Knowledge" and flowing curly gray hair and beard that reach to his waist. He dresses in either a loose pair of gray trousers and short brown leather boots or a pair of black leather trousers, chain mail boots, a black woolen shirt, a wide brimmed brown leather hat and long brown leather mackintosh. Personality: Odin is wise, even beyond his sixty five years, being knowledgeable in genetics, combat, old Norse religion, animal husbandry and politics. He has trouble controlling his short temper from time to time but for his students he has nothing but patience. History: A brilliant geneticist, Mikael was one of the first scientists to identify the mutation and its cause. However, he also researched the way it affected each person, discovering that it causes a micro scale organism that alters DNA sections to it own, each one being different, though there are several recurring codes. He helped establish the U.N. Metahuman Crisis Response Team, made up of Pacius Salus (where he was chief training instructor for a time) graduates who wanted to use their powers to help with natural disasters, wars and other major emergencies. In the last five years he has been missing, having experimented with genetic template grafts. The nervous damage was so great that it destroyed his right eye, though it granted him his powers. He has returned at the request of the Meta-human Crisis team to temporarliy replace the popular Instructor Trieze while she was absent after an accident during the student games at the end of the year. Guidlines:This character is limited during training exercises to DTT and Skreemer. During classes and free time he is free usage, provided he is kept in character Multis ReceptionistYoder Name: Heather Roya Codename: Fovea Age: 53 Gender: Female Mutation: Her mutation first surfaced when she realized that she no longer needed to wear glasses. Her vision had become perfect 20/20 in both eyes, and her lenses had become pliable once more. A few months later, she gained the ability to 'zoom in' upon anything in the enter of her vision. At first she had no control over it, causing moments of distorted vision. By the time she learned to control this ability, yet another power developed. This newest and most powerful ability is constantly active. It is full 3d 360* vision, allowing her to see radially outward from her head. The normal limits of her vision still apply in that she can only focus and 'zoom in' on one spot and can not see through objects. This constant power also demands constant attention. She hopes that one day she will be able to command this power too, but it has been a year since she gained this her final mutation. Appearance: Most notably, her entire eye (pupil, iris, and sclera) is completely black. Her short brown hair (with notable gray accents) is kept in a neat bun when in public. Her skin is wrinkled to the extent expected by her age and she has a minimal tan. Being 5 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds, she is rather 'short and stout.' Her wardrobe primarily consists of sweaters, long skirts, pantyhose, and loafers. Personality: Her pre-mutation personality was pleasant but plain. She didn't possess any particular traits that made her stand out, but she wasn't unsociable either. When her first 2 abilities manifested, she grew more extroverted and adventerous. She enjoyed this side of her personality much more, but it was not to last. When her most recent ability came to light, she could then see others for what they were when nobody (except her of course) was watching. Seeing humanity at its wost, people without character who jab each other behind backs gave her a cynical and stern outlook on life. Since her 3rd ability shifts so much of her attention, she can be bland in conversation. In dealing with students, she can be very crabby and unpleasant. History: Being one of the few older individuals to express the abilities that mostly teenagers had been showing, she didn't quite know what to do. Her mutation didn't affect her normal life too much, so she was able to function in normal society without incident. When she discovered Pacis Salus shortly after losing her previous job, she decided to inquire about employment. She was able to acquire a job as receptionist of the most-populated dorm of the three, Multis. Since, she has kept a strict reign on the rambunctious teenagers around her. Rules: Obviously, keep her in-character at all times and don't kill her off. Also, she shouldn't form any personal relationships of any kind with any other character, though is nicer to the other faculty than she is to the students. Math Teacher/One-on-One TrainerGale OverDrive Name: Cain Raynor Codename: Sniper Age:27 Gender: Male Mutation: Telekinesis (Linear) - Simply enough, the mind-altered power to move objects, regardless of size or weight, back and forth, up or down, and left to right, in a straight line. The line does not have to have him as the point of origin, but the objects can only be moved on that one line, meaning that a blockage or a sudden interruption in the path of travel is his obvious weakness. But, realizing that weakness, he practiced to be able to change an object's line of travel in mid-motion, allowing him to somewhat bypass the weakness. Currently, his control is strong enough to be able to move up to 13 objects simultaneously, no matter how large or heavy they are, and none of them have to be on the same line of travel. Cain can also stop a moving object in mid-motion, if ever a disruption in the line occurred, or if someone's life were in danger, say, from a falling steel girder. Telekinesis (Projectile) - Enhancing on his abilities to move objects in a straight line, he is able to add to its force-on-impact by simple mass acceleration. Using this ability, even the tiniest ball of paper can be as strong as a bullet shot from a handgun. Small objects require a simple flick of the finger or a light throw, but heavier objects may require a kick while floating in mid air. Currently, Cain possesses the ability to an extent where he is able to "shoot" anything that does not exceed 300lbs. His maximum range is up to his eyesight, the farther he can see, the farther he can "shoot". Side Note: The only reason his 'shots' would not go in a straight line is if he somehow spots or sees a bulls eye target. For some, still unknown reason, Cain will unconsciously direct a projectile towards a bulls eye, no matter which direction he first shot the projectile in. This is the only case in which his objects' paths of travels are curves. Appearance: Standing at a rather tall 6'3", Cain has neatly-trimmed black hair with bangs, light skin and brown Asian eyes which he inherited from his mother. His smile is quite mysterious, sometimes menacing, and at times, alluring; and his round-square eye-glasses often hide the true intent in his eyes. His style of dress includes an assortment of suits, shirts, ties and black slacks, mainly for work. Casually, he prefers to wear dark jean pants, an unbuttoned long-sleeved shirt and a T-shirt underneath with sneakers, or a v-neck sweater with a long-sleeved shirt underneath and cargo pants and brown heavy-duty shoes for a more classy look. Personality: Cain is both patient and blunt. Straightforwardness is his main characteristic, which is both a good thing and bad thing. His teaching style is stern and somewhat harsh, but he will gladly offer help not only to those who need it, but also to those who ask. Cain also tends to enjoy the simple things in life and very many things can easily make him smile. History: Born to American and Japanese parents. His American father moved to Japan to study the strange phenomena of the green sun. Japan was where his father met his mother and had him, two years after the phenomena first occurred. Being the scientist that his father was, he was excited, rather than worried, when he first found out that Cain could do minor object telekinesis at the age of 14; and then proceeded to subject him to various experiments. Cain came in the middle of the first wave of mutant generations and became involved with Pacis Salus in order to make life easier for those the same as him. He teaches math classes all around the campus. He is also extensively trained in mixed martial arts (specifically Chinese styles) and ranged defense, and is apt to train those who ask him for it. Rules: Can be controlled by mostly anyone, but please keep him in his intended character. During training periods which, and if, he comes in and helps out, and situations where his power has to be used extensively, control falls solely on DTT and Gale(myself). Free rein is given, especially during class time.

What's happenin'?
[9-23-08] Hrm... Less activity, but we've still got this wheel rolling. Got some more updates, and the day of the Dance is coming up... Can we all keep active up until then, at least? I know this is getting a little redundant, but... hey...
We're always accepting new characters and new ideas. PM me stuff you think might go over well and spark some more life into this. Also remember to socialize with other characters... We don't want anyone left out.
I'll also be taking ideas for PS 2, as I'll be working twice as hard on that one to make sure that when we've reached it, we can keep it going and RP all of our fun characters longer.
Let's make it to PG 100 soon, okay?
[8-30-08] Sheesh. And we're still going >>; Teachers are available, though for the time being they will be All Player Characters. However, the creators can put down rules to make sure their characters aren't abused! If we get any complaints about teachers not being played right, there will be warnings and possibly a chance to be kicked out of the RP. This is important!
[7-2-08] The second day is going well, so far! I'll be having the bell ring sometime soon. Don't forget to send in your Class Schedules. I'll be sending out PMs soon for those who haven't brought them in yet. I'll also be talking to my minions about checking out inactivity. We have a few, and I know of one of us that will be leaving/has left the RP because of life things. It's okay if you have to leave, as long as you let us know. I'm glad you guys do the polls (I've probably already said this before), as it helps me out a lot.
[6-26-08] Long-time, no update, eh? This place is running well! Sometimes I worry, but you guys manage to come up with interesting things to post with. Remember, you guys can always pester me if you have any questions or suggestions. I started the next day in classes, and hope it will go well. I'll be working on extra stuff for people to do, like getting the Training Schedule down, and after-school clubs. Glad I get responses to the polls I put up- it really helps me out a lot. It also makes this sort of a democratic RP wink Sorry I haven't updated a lot in the 'catch up' area for people who need to read where we've left off, but I've been lacking in motivation >3> I know, it's bad, but I'll work on it, or hire a minion twisted 33 pages... Way to go!
[6-10-08] I've been working on a movie set, and so I haven't been on the computer as often as I usually do. I'm usually gone until about 4/5ish here (AZ time), and then when I come home I'm up until 11ish... Wenesdays I've got fiddle stuff in the afternoon, so no movie set then, so I have all day to work on things people may need done in here. Weekends I may or may not be busy on.
Gonna work on updates stuff... let me know if I miss anything important I should put in. Don't know how many people read this, but *shrug*
[6-8-08] Having some activity issues... some people have gone -poof- please try and read up on everything as possible so you don't lose posts, and such. And talk to people who seem like they're alone! We want everyone to be able to role play in here without just posting to get attention. So far, we're doing great, but keep the activity up! Sorry it goes so fast, but readings' half the fun, right?
[6-6-08] Three days, 11 pages. Woah! Anyways, gonna summarize a few things for people comin' in late... It'll be posted below.
[6-5-08] Woah! 7 pages! And more people coming! Sheesh... Anyways, it seems we've mostly voted for teams. Those will be made during the almighty important 'Student Meeting'. Like regular schools not, this will be an intro for all the 'new' students, and a boring reminder for those who've been in the school before. (basically, it's for all of us) Teams'll be done, and then you'll be left to meet up with them and chat for the rest of the day. The next day, your character should receive their schedules under your handy dandy bedroom door, and your alarm clock should wake you up at the right time for class.
[6-4-08] We got the guys we needed thanks to some people joining, and someones' changing of character gender! Now we're about even, given that Aaron remains as a guy for a bit >3>
Everyone should go and talk to someone, make enemies or allies. We're getting more profiles in from people, so I want to wait for a little bit longer before I get things going with a 'school meeting' to introduce new characters, ect.
Also, I'm getting a poll up to see if you guys want to do teams. It would be a random draw, or maybe even a gathering of similar mutations (elements, psychic, super(s), ect.) You could do a team name, whatever. It would go with some possible competitions that might come up for 'school morale'. Helps make friends, enemies, drama, joy, ect. Heck, we could just be plain silly about it wink

Auditorium Description
On page 8, Kikiama Marie caught her breath a bit before entering the building, since the first floor was the cafeteria. Blushing a bit and pushing her dark hair behind her ears, she slipped swiftly to the stairs once spotting them after a moment. She climbed, Marie’s face breaking into a smile and growing larger with each step before pushing against the heavier auditorium doors and entering heaven. The countless seats and sloping walls and floors, the deep burgundy enveloping it all with mahogany wooding and specks of gold from number plates and discrete but elegant decoration, the amazing lighting and sound booths place in away but all knowing places, and of course: the stage.
summary Our Story Thus Far...Students from around the globe arrive at Pacis Salis, gifteds of many kinds. They meet each other (mostly by tripping on each other), chat, and explore the campus. Meals are eaten in the wonderful cafeteria. Everyone is introduced to their teams, and various drama occurs with (and without) people using their powers. Silly things also happen. Several fights almost start, and (not-related) several end up in the infirmary at the end of the day. The second day arrived, and much talk about the upcoming classes ensue. Talking happens in the cafeteria, along with minor dramas; feelings hurts, friendships made, that sorta thing. Students go to their first four classes, except for the ones that skip or get sick. Lunch happens, where there is more drama, and in the auditorium, the first 'fight with powers', so to speak occurs. Order eventually ensues, and students (who aren't skipping) go to the second set of classes. Later, it is annouced that teams should meet up in the evening, and that there will be a school dance later in the week. After classes, more events occur, involving talking, getting lost, and juice boxes. Then teams meet up to talk about themselves (unless they skipped out, of course). Several students have their powers evolve during the day as well. After team meetings, some students watch a movie together, others do other things before going to bed. More detailed information is here.Day 1Arkell tripped over Aaron. Aaron called Logan over and poked him. Logan's abilities made him pass out for a moment (le gasp), and then when he woke up he made Aaron go away, and then he went and got food. Riley bumped into Harmony, and they got to talking. Aki tripped over Lois. They got to talking. Lite arrived and ate a bunch of food. The geckos are watching. Aya almost kills a gecko. Lite goes swimming. Aya gets drenched in water at the docks and falls into the sea. Harmony shows off her bubbles. Lite rescues Aya from wetness from falling in the water. Arkell works to remember Aaron. Lite catches a fish. With a plant. - p6Harnomy eeks over geckos. Aaron becomes Erin. Arkell learns the big secret. Sam bumps into Lite. Aya and Sam race to Cafeteria. Lite wins by using his powers. Marie musically meets Terra. Announcement. Everyone heads to Auditorium. Arkell freaks out in crowd. Headmistress calms everyone down and talks to the new students. Headmistress brings the first team to the stage and informs the 'surprise' is the teams themselves. - p12People look for team mates. Latecomers arrive. An argument is sprung up between a trio. (Tess, Mal, and Sergey) Logan falls on Tess and passes out. Arkell yells at Tess, Mal, and Sergey. Alwyn goes and lets the nurse know what happened. Marie hypnotizes Sergey to get Logan to the medical building. Marie apologizes when she breaks Sergey out of hypnosis. Sergey walks Marie to her dorm. Tess is irritated. Mal and Tess gain a truce after their argument, earlier. People gather in the cafeteria, talking to Rozen and others. Tess comes in, eats, and picks a fight with Sergey. Sergey and Tess piss Arkell off. Arkell sets Sergey and Tess on fire, then puts them out and runs off. Tess and Aya follow Arkell. Sergey goes back to his dorm. Lite goes to his dorm and makes a home for Bear. Tess runs off before he can start a fight with Aya (in Arkell's defense). Aya and Arkell follow him. - p20Arkell pets Tess. Aya, Arkell, and Tess introduce each other and talk. Sergey and Mal talk in their dorm room. Harmony, Alwyn and others do 'team talk' in the cafeteria. Tess freaks out about geckos on him. Marie stops by Sergey's and Mal's room; finds Sergey still burnt. Aya kills a gecko (on accident!) Mal's cat, Lucy, arrives in his room. Aya shows her powers to Tess and Arkell, still hiding dead gecko. Marie goes to the cafeteria, sits with Terra and Lois. Matt meets up with Candice; Aki and Huilliame also find them. Aya accidentally absorbs the dead gecko and is taken away to the infirmary. - p25Mal reveals his mutation to Sergey. Tess walks Arkell to her dorm. Candice and Aki explain/show their powers to Huilliame in the cafeteria. Candice tries to take a group picture but cannot because of Huilliame's power. Lite thinks a tree is a dragon. Mark arrives via helicopter. Candice faints when Huilliame says he eats rabbits. The Sensors team name is decided upon by Marie, Mark, Terra, and Lois. Matt is nominated to be his group's leader. Marie visits Logan in the infirmary. Lite offers Mark a giant, imaginary cupcake. - p30Huilliame is taken to the infirmary due to more mutations. Sam visits Aya in the infirmary; they talk, he sleeps over there. Marie walks Logan to his room; they talk. Candice visits Huilliame in the infirmary, and then fetches Matt, who takes Huilliame to their room. People go to bed. Day 2 - p33People wake up. Lite does his hair in a 'fro. Marie learns about Alwyn's invisibility. Huilliame and Aki talk about class schedules/powers/other things over breakfast. Marie and Alwyn meet up with Sergey for breakfast. Arkell has breakfast with Tess (more or less). Matt and Candice eat breakfast. Sam joins Marie/Alwyn/Sergey; Sergey is not happy. Lite flirts with all the ladies. Sergey falls down and makes a mess; Marie and Alwyn try to help but he goes to change. Marie checks on Logan, then returns to her lunch table. Arkell goes to talk to Logan; they talk about Tess (Bane). - p40Tess goes to antagonize Sergey for 'freaking out over girls.' Lite comes up to Candice and Matt; Candice gives Lite a hair clip. Huilliame and Aki continue their conversation outside. Alwyn is sad Sergey brushed aside her and Marie's help. Marie heads to her music class, in one of the glass practice rooms. Elaina (recently arrived) joins Matt, Candice, and Lite at the cafeteria. The first bell for class rings and an announcement is made about classes. Logan and Arkell walk to class. Tess and Sergey stop their bickering and go to study hall. Sam asks if Alwyn is ok; she says she is, but comes down with a fever and is taken to the infirmary by Sam. Lite gives Candice a belt buckle in return for the hair clip; Elania gets a hug. Sam informs Marie that Alwyn took ill. Candice gets lost on the way to her class (due to an upside-down schedule). Huilliame and Aki makes plans to skip class while walking outside. Due to embarrassment, Huilliame runs off camoflaged, leaving poor Aki all along outside. Marie and Sam head to the auditorium. Elaina and Matt talk as they walk to class. Huilliame speaks with Tess and Sergey in study hall. - p44 Students go to periods 1-4. Candice and Aki chat. (Aki: Save me!) Candice snoozes in her lunch. Sam and Marie both try to talk to Sergey. Marie withdraws. Sergey brushes Sam off, following after Marie. (The first drama begins!) Sergey listens to Marie at the piano. He offers to help her with a composition. Sam talks to Mrs. Ishida. We get a look inside Sam's mind. Sam sneaks into the auditorium as Sergey and Marie perform a duet. Sam appears and applauds the two pianists. Alwyn wakes up and is greeted by Mrs. Ishida. Tess joins Arkell for lunch. Marie gets embarrassed, tears up, and enters the orchestra pit in search of her music. Sam touches Sergey's shoulder. (Oh, snap!) Huilliame chills with Matt. Sergey yells at Sam. Candice wakes up and joins Huilliame. Sam doesn't defend himself, Sergey throws him to the ground and goes to find Marie. Marie attempts to hypnotise Sam and Sergey. Sam is a good boy and falls under the spell. Sergey doesn't. Lite makes a new home for bear on Lois' former bed, then ponders temporal concepts. Kazuko arrives and eats lunch. Aki joins Matt. Huillame and his team talk strategy. Sam leaves the auditorium, then skips the rest of his classes. Huilliame likes the name "Unnamed". Sergey forces Marie to stop playing, almost yelling at her. Logan finds Marie in the auditorium and tells Sergey to leave her alone. Elaina is a nice Senior. Aki wants to be saved again. Marie tells Sergey off. Sergey yells at Marie and leaves the auditorium, pushing Logan out of the way. Arkell acts emo, then cheers herself up. Marie yells bad words at Sergey (naughty, naughty!) and goes to help Logan. Tess antagonizes Sergey to find out what's on his mind. Sergey tells his side of the story (for the most part). Logan cheers Marie up. They hug (sorta). Candice goes to her dorm. Alwyn starts to draw. Logan decides to escort Marie to her class. Arkell talks to Logan and Marie. Sam is met by Mrs's Ishida's cute secretary (I think she likes him!). Sam and Alwyn start talking. (Great pools of admiration!) Marie suddenly blushes. Sergey is molting! Tess swipes a feather. More talking between Sam and Alwyn. Huilliame doesn't bump into Marie and Logan. The students who aren't skipping go to periods 5-8. Arkell talks to Marie, who's putting up fliers for tutoring services (for the low, low price of one cookie!!). Huilliame talks to Lite, who got rid of his Afro. Aki joins them. Sergey attempts to scheme, but gets in his own way. More talking between Marie and Arkell. A LOT more talking between Aki, Lite, and Huilliame. The headmistress makes an announcement! A team meeting and a dance! Huilliame doesn't like dances. The three amigos prepare for skating lessons. Sam offers to go to the dance with Alwyn. They prepare to head for the meeting, albeit a bit early. Marie likes dances! Arkell doesn't. Nor does Sergey. Kazuko asks Sergey where the Chemistry room is. - p54
Day 3 - p75 People wake up. Mal sees Tess sleeping next to Sergey, feels like third wheel. Lite transcends into a being of pure air. Fun stuff, no? Marie, Arkell, and Logan eat breakfast together. Sergey wakes up after a nitemare, freaks out because Tess is RIGHT THERE and can see scars. Tess doesn't notice and goes to clean up in the bathroom; he has a cold. Sergey offers clothes. Tess and Sergey finish dressing. Yeah, it takes awhile. They go to lunch shortly after (separately). Arkell goes to sit by the new kid, Zahzi. Will sits near them, as does Marie. Sam talks with Alwyn over lunch. Tess goes to the infirmary for key, stays because of cold. Harmony speaks with the other new kid, Isabella, in the cafeteria. Marie heads to class, and Logan follows to talk about watching another movie... together! Sergey plays the piano; Will sees him doing so. Elaina talks to Sam about Lite's apparent death. Isabella says she'll let them know if she sees his spirit. The first bell rings. People begin to make their way to their classes. -p81 Zahzi and Huilliame talk in study hall. Matt leaves to attend to a family emergency. Aki skips most of her morning classes because they're too warm, heads to beach. Marie goes to classes, avoids(ish) Sergey, then goes to beach at lunch. Similarly, Logan, Isabella, Arkell, Zahzi, Sam, Will, Candice, Huilliame (and others) head to the beach. Sergey goes to see if Tess got his key; Tess leaves the infirmary to go get food. Odin arrives, tells people what is up, and lists off people he would interview. Huilliame and Candice talk about Matt's leaving (and lack of her dance date). Tess goes to talk with Odin because he needed to be interviewed- they talk about transforming while going to lunch. Elaine leaves to deal with Lite's death. People head back to have lunch. Huilliame talks with Aki about their team. Odin speaks with the Headmistress about the students. Marie sits by Logan at lunch; they talk about classes and stuff. Candice sits with Huilliame and Aki at the lunch table; asks Huilliame to find her a date for the dance. Harmony goes home. Odin calls Marie to his office; he tells her about the new assignment plans. Cain arrives; heads to lunchroom. Arkell goes to eat lunch with Zahzi. Tess falls asleep in his food. -p86 Erensii arrives; gets his stuff to his room and goes to the cafeteria. Candice talks to him. Alwyn accidentally phases through a chair and gets stuck in it- Will and Sam go to help. Alwyn unsticks herself and Sam takes her to the infirmary. Candice jumps on a table and makes a mess. Erensii and Isabella clean up a bit. Aki freezes and unfreezes her pizza, continues to talk with Huilliame. Odin talks with Marie about the dance and restrictions on her powers. Aki and Huilliame finish up their conversation over lunch and head to classes. Tess wakes up from his... nap, and heads to Odin's office. Zahzi also finishes lunch and heads over to Odin's office, with Tess. Will and Erensii go to their class, Creative Writing. Isabella also goes to class. Odin talks to the students in his office about the 'student council'. Sam gets Alwyn to the infirmary. -p91

-Let's get things started...- Please make sure you check up on the news/updates post for comments I have for you guys, and possible upcoming events!
Everyone should just meander and meet people, for now. I'll have an announcement later to get things started when more people get their profiles in. Classes will start in the next day, so take in mind your characters' age compared to what grade they'll be in, and follow that schedule. I didn't think very many people would want to RP their characters in class, so when people are in class, we can breeze through things and get to lunch, and then after class, ect.

Logan Ernst sat on the metal-framed bed within his room located inside the training facility. There was a window that looked outside at the sunny day, with small clouds floating about the sky. There was also another window into the facility itself, though the curtains were drawn shut. His room, consisting of a nightstand, a small bookshelf, and a dresser, was mostly white with flecks of color in the furniture, and the few pictures he could find that he liked. A package of medical masks rested on the dresser, as did several pairs of gloves.
Logan's room was rather well-organized, and as he stood and replaced the mask over his nose and mouth, and pulled up his gloves, he smoothed out the bed covers. He could tell when someone poked around, that way, and it was nicer like this, anyways. Taking a deep breath and dulling down his current range of thoughts, the 5'6" male brushed back his shaggy black hair and stepped out of his room. There were people wandering about, a few newer students trying out the program they were to run through to work with their powers. The center of the room was made up of a smaller glass dome, and there were different sections portioned off.
Logan knew better then to just call it glass- he'd seen a kid try and blow a hole into it, only to have the effect just dissipate. However, there was no better way to explain the clear, hard, material. Wandering through the corridor around the 'glass' dome, which was probably clear for observation, he exited through the front door and sighed as a breeze tugged at his hair outside. The island was always damp, sunny days or not, and it rained more often then not. He was used to the rain, so it didn't bother him much. Trailing off away from the building, he made his way to the Cafeteria building for lunch.
There were people strolling about the large grassy fields that led towards a small forest on the island. There were also people milling around the school buildings, and Logan sighed softly to himself. The cafeteria was so overused by many people... he often had to eat outside just to control the buzz in his head long enough to focus on his food. And, he had to take his mask off to eat, which proved him prone to more smells of people about. He didn't have a keen sense of smell, and food scents did nothing to him, but when he did pick up on someones' personal aroma, it forced him to pick up on some sort of memory off that person.
Shoving his gloved hands into his pockets, Logan moved on, working to avoid people so he could get his lunch and find an empty area to sit and eat in.

Aki sighed, sullenly trudging up to the dorms. She didn't want to be here, it was too hot. Then again, everything's too hot after the mountains. Well, that's what you get for trying to run away when in the middle of nowhere. she chided herself, shifting her bag on her shoulder. She didn't want to meet her roomate. She didn't want one. "Great. Another first day. Least they aren't making us wear those stupid uniforms..." she muttered to herself, finding her room and dropping her things on one of the beds. She moaned softly as she saw another bed. "Please don't let her be a prep or fire..." she prayed, sitting on the edge of her newly-claimed bed, making a small crystal of ice from the moisture in the air. "Might as well start cooling it off. She can suck it up." she said to herself, blowing softly and pushing cold into the air, sighing happily as the temperature slowly dropped.
Aki left the room as soon as she heard her phone start ringing, knowing only her mother would want to call her. At least this way she wouldn't have to lie, it took too much effort to come up with a new one. As soon as she stepped outside she felt her hair begining to frizz and cling to her. "Humidity, yuck." she murmured, ignoring some of the looks she recieved. She knew people generally avoided her, claiming it was her "aura". Now she had a legitamate reason for being cold to most people. She took one look at the cafeteria and turned away. Too many people for her to deal with. And all those people in a confined space.... Too hot to deal with. She still didn't have much of a tolerance for any amount of heat above what most people would find comfortable.
Aki kept walking, looking for somewhere devoid of people. She finally saw an area and headed towards it, hoping no one else had the same intentions.

"Bleh. School sucks."
The blondie realized that it probably seemed like he was talking to himself. Well, actually there was no one in the room but him, but still. He lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling in absolute boredom. Riley Langston had been sent here against his will. Okay, maybe it was sort of his fault, but how was he to know that he could lift a frickin' refrigerator. The 6'1" boy let out another deep sigh, grumbling to himself again before sitting up, sending his blonde hair falling over agitated blue eyes.
His tugged his white How to keep an idiot busy shirt, letting his black jeans fall just below his waist. He hopped around the room, struggling to pull on the white and black tennis shoes he had kicked off as soon as he had entered the room he considered "the most boring place on the face of the Earth." Black bed frame, black desk, black dresser, black bookshelf. Black, black, black. Maybe Riley had asked for it that way. But right then the kid was definitely regretting the sense of gothness.
He hated the fact that he was surrounded by this...material that he couldn't break. Riley knew better than to attempt, realizing it wouldn't do a thing and it would most likely hurt like crap. He let out another sigh [probably completely deflating his lungs this time] and walked out of his dorm building and onto the lawn, which he felt was too cheerful for the students' own good. But at times like this, Riley was usually pessimistic. The once half full glass was now half empty [or maybe completely empty]. He grabbed a water for his delicious lunch, and made his way across the lawn, hoping to find somewhere to sit, somewhere he couldn't get ticked off.

His dorm room had not been entertaining, and could not contain the brown-haired boy. Being a "nerd" at heart, he sat beneath a tree on the damp grass now, a copy of his favorite book propped up on his legs. The boy flipped the page, adjusting his black glasses, which had slipped down his nose again. Reading was the only thing that would keep this kid from traveling off into dream land again.
Lois had entered his dorm room, and left immediatly. He only claimed his bed, wondered who his roommate was [if he had one], and left. Of course, taking a book with him. Nothing could make his hunger disappear, so Lois did not even bother to buy himself something to eat. He had chosen a quite place away from the rest of the students, in hopes no one would join him. Of course, that hope was slowly disappearing as the lawn filled. Lois sighed, running a slender hand through his mocha brown hair.
The 6'4" guy had no problem seemingly making himself disappear. Not literally. He kept his face down, not looking at any student who passed by. The last thing Lois wanted was for him to loose his temper. Seeing things in color was nice, and he wasn't ready to let go of his regular vision yet. So he kept reading, hoping that no one would sit next to him.

Save for several large boxes, most of which contained books, and a small portrait of Chibi-Cthulhu over the bed, Erin's room was completly devoid of any signs of habitation. The walls remained bare, their annoyingly neutral shade of beige practically burning into the back of Aaron's head as he changed into a green, loose fitting "To each his Gnome" T-Shirt, a new pair of jeans and his heavily worn shoes. He looked again at his name tags, one reading "Aaron" and the other "Erin", and sighed as he stuffed both into his wallet. It wasn't worth the risk of being caught by security without one ID if something happened and he became the other. He thought again about staying inside, took another look at the depressingly bare room, and was mildly surprised to also see his door closing behind him as he stepped outside. Decision made. The special dorms were isolated, thankfully, so he didn't have to deal with any inquisitory glances, however brief, as he walked out a ways from the other dorms and headed towards the cafeteria, figuring that he could take a clockwise tour of the island before heading back to his room and digging out some more of his things to try and make it liveable. He slouched simply because he could, occasionally stooping down to look closer at one of the many geckos hiding in the grass, even going so far as to run with a small pack of them before laying down and staring up at the sky, not caring that his sudden laughter or odd actions had brought some short lived stares.
All in all, this change was going to be good; a clean start, no huge exposition on his abnormalities and an education that wouldn't halt every time he changed. Though nobody could remember him, everybody would remember her. The thought stuck with him, leaving something of a bad taste in his mouth, but he shrugged it off and continued to stare at the sky. Some mutants couldn't eat certian things, others were suddenly allergic to something basic like water... his identity had effectively been torn apart and replaced with something completly different, something nearly as empty and foreign as his life had already become, but at least he was left with the possibility of building a new one. At least someone could hope to know Erin, if not Aaron, since he had, at least, decided that both, while different, were still the same.
