Logan tipped his head to the side and thought for a little bit. He couldn't decide if Tess had a nickname or not, because 'Bane' had been created after the event of Logan touching him. "Er, the canine-looking guy I saw you eating breakfast with. Is he calling himself something else?" he asked, also looking a little confused. He was done eating, and so he put his mask up, taking a deepish breath when he did and slowly letting it out.

Tess frowned, making a 'hmph' noise when he was asked about gathering some ammunition against the other male. "Why the hell would I need to find ammunition when I can get a reaction simply by commenting on your 'oh so handsome' looks." he blinked as he realized what he'd said, and then shook it off a little. Arkell was getting close to doing things like that.... but I knew when to keep my mouth shut and not say anything. "Just because they ask things doesn't mean you gotta get out so fast you fall over! Afraid to just avoid the questions? Don't want to admit you don't want to talk about that stuff to 'little girls'?"

Matt had to lean toward Candice a litle to avoid being swallowed by the blond puffball atop Lit's cranium. "Yup," Matthew responded, "and it's an advanced math course. Yeah, this my schedule, and going to class is the point of school you know." He finished off his words with a smile. He quickly ate his breakfast as Candice and lite continued their conversation around him.

"Oooh! You mean Bane? Huh...Tess must be his real name." She smiled and nodded. "He's a sweetheart! And he's so soft and fuzzy!" she giggled her hair blushing a little as she propped her head up with her hand. "Who was that girl who came over just a second ago? I never caught her name I don't believe. She's the one who helped me yesterday with the bird-brain and Bane." She smiled.

Sergey growled. "Shut up..." he muttered, "just shut up! So vhat ef I have problems holding a conversation!? I have not exactly had much practice." He cursed himself inwardly. He should not be saying these things to this....dog. He would just use it against him later, he knew it. He grimaced, looking around a bit for an escape route.

Logan nodded a little, mentally connecting the nickname with Tess's personality. It kind of fit. And at the comment of Tess being a sweetheart, he had to smile a little. "He must like you." he murmured softly. At the question of who Marie was, his eyes drifted to the girl in question, before smiling behind his mask and returning his gaze to Arkell. "That's Marie. She walked me back to my dorm last night to make sure I got there okay. She was checking up on me."

Tess had to chuckle softly at Sergey's obvious want of an out from this conversation. He could sort of sympathize with the guy. "Like I have?" he asked, and sighed, shaking his head. "As if anyone wants to deal with the talking dog. I learned to avoid uneasy questions, if given any, and tended to avoid conversation all together. Fighting about things is more my style." he smirked and looked to Sergey again. "So, what's wrong, Dodo? Gonna let people cause you to make a fool of yourself?"

"Aah, okay. I'll have to thank her later. She was the one who got featherbrain to carry you to the infirmary." She smiled and looked over the young woman and nodded approvingly. "She's pretty cute too," she added looking back over at Logan and catching the smile in his eyes if not his face.

He clenched his fists, he didn't want to get into another fight today, but this boy was just begging for another knuckle sandwich. His forearms shook from the strain of clenching them and he turned abruptly walking away from Tess. "Just ******** off, dogbreath." he growled out, not looking back at him as he stalked away to his first period study hall.

"Got a fever all of a sudden walking back from dinner. Apparently my tertiary phase mutations starting. Something about the way some of our powers work means we dont get them all the time or cant control them without work." Huilliam said folding up the tool. He smiled a little before shrugging, turning around going into deep thought for a few seconds. Jeez, shes beautiful. Why dont I just ask her out? Oh yeah. Fear of being shot down. There'll be other times I hope. But no way realistically is she single. Probably got some brooding goth dude as her man. Forget it. Just go skating or sit in your room for an hour. His thoughts raced through his head at hundreds of miles an hour before he turned back to face Aki.

Alwyn had gotten really pale when she had been pushed away but by that time no one could see the tears on her face. She had poped into invisibility as she had been pushed away. they were silent tears, she new it had to have been something she had said or done. it was always this way. it was ususally the reason why she was so normally nervous aroun dpeople other then the fact that she was easy prey and people new that about her almost instantly. "I am a ghost..." She said quietly as she picked up her own tray to turn it in and her bag so that she could head on out to class. It would look as though the tray were floating and the bag disappeared as soon as it was over her shoulder.

Aki nodded, letting the temperature drop more and shedding the thin skin of cold. She wouldn't have to use as much energy this way, and the temperature was getting more comfortable. "What is it?" she asked, leaning against the wall. She could tell he was thinking, presumably about her, judging by the way he'd look away then back. She never understood why people did that. Did they think that she could read their thoughts through eye contact? Wouldn't that be great though... she thought, wondering if anyone had been lucky enough to get that ability.

"Actually," Sam said with a slight laugh, "I'm not quite sure. Whatever it was got pushed out of my mind when Sergey hit the floor." He rose from his seat. "Now, I hate to leave you sitting here with only one person, but I've a few friends to check up on." He gave Marie a smile and set off to find Alwyn. Or, at least, a floating bag signifying her presence. Sam soon found the airborne sack and said, "Oi, Alwyn! You've got some serious negative vibes goin' on. I hate feeling that from friends, especially new ones. Care to share your woes?"

“Ah, well, okay,” Marie replied, a bit worried about both Alwyn and Sergey. Sam would take care of her, she hoped, as she saw him go in her direction. Marie wished goodbye to Mal as he too left, for class, he had said. So, she sat alone for a little while before figuring she may as well get to work. She didn’t have a class, per say. It was a study hall period in which she asked to be able to use one of the sound proof recording/practice rooms in the upstairs of the cafeteria.

Finishing her oh so delicious breakfast, Marie returned her plates and tray to the wash bin and made her way to the stairs. As she passed the glass entrance doors, she spotted Sergey with Tess. Marie smiled a little sadly, hoping he was okay… him and Tess seemed be getting along well enough for the moment. Marie sighed and climbed the stairs.

She passed by the auditorium doors with a longing feeling to go in and admire it beauty, but she resisted knowing she’d be stuck there for hours if she went.

Down at the end of the hall and to the right she looked for sound room four. All of the sound rooms had transparent windows and doors so you could see if it was occupied before entering. Knocking is out of the question when it comes to these rooms because they are completely sound proof. Plus, a knock or someone opening the door would ruin any recording or work you were doing. Thus, the visual appeal. That, and the rooms were small. Claustrophobic people would never be able to get any work done if it weren’t for the transparency.

Finding the door unlocked already, most likely from the music teacher, knowing she would be in there, Marie entered. It was extremely nice. There were hook-ups in the wall for recording mics, play-back speakers/headphones(depending on the musician’s preference), power outlets, a comfortable chair, desk in the corner with another smaller chair, mic stand, trash bin, and an adjustable music stand.

Marie left her bag by the door and dug both her blank and written on music sheets. Taking a seat in the main large chair with the adjustable music stand, she laid out her work. Marie knew her power was much strong when sung. So this class period she decided to devote to composing music. Composing, so she would have things in her arsenal if she ever needed it.

She breathed out, and began reviewing a few things she had written in the past.

Elaina finally reached the cafeteria and looked around for someone she knew from last year. Seeing no one on first glance she swiped through the food line, getting a banana and some eggs. Carefully balancing her tray and keeping her backpack on her sloping shoulder, she saw Matthew and Lite across the room at a table. Lite was having a conversation with a young lady and Matthew was eating away.

She found an empty seat by the young woman and waved to Lite who was still in conversation. "Hey Matthew." she said quietly. "What's new for you this year?" she added, unpeeling her banana. ((I'm assuming she knows them cause they're in the same grade...I can change if you want >.<))

Candice smiled at Matt. "Heh, Heh." She said in an uncomfortable tone as she scooted away from him. "My classes are going to be boring, I hate biology." She said in an annoyed tone she looked back over to Matt and smiled.

A sudden sound of chiming bells rang throughout the school, heard by almost everywhere around the school campus. It even rang lightly in areas near the forest. A few times it tolled, and then went quiet.

The loudspeakers soon came on, the sound of Sarah's voice ringing out. "Hello again, students. That was the bell to get to your classes. We hope you can get to them on time, though today we'll give you a few more minutes so it will be easier to find your classrooms. For those who are new to the school, we have one extra bell that rings when classes start. You have five minutes until that bell. On a normal day, if you come into class after that bell, you are marked off. Three days of that, and you get a detention with me."

There was a soft pause, the tone in Sarah's voice switching from sweet to an almost excited giggle. "We hope you have fun in your classes! Good luck, everyone!" the speaker was turned off, leaving the students to head off to their classes.

Logan nodded a little. "She explained that to me a little." he murmured, and then glanced away from Arkell as she looked to him after the comment of Marie being cute. He wasn't about to admit aloud that he agreed. The bell rang, and he went silent as he listened to Sarah's welcome and tardy bell explination. He shifted and stood, picking up his tray. "Well, I have to head to my Drawing class." he murmured, nodding to Arkell a little. "What class do you have right now? Maybe I can walk you to it."

Tess looked partially amused, partially peeved as Sergey stalked off. "Stupid featherbrain..." he grumbled, and then sighed heavily. So... as far as he could recall, he had study hall for first hour. Which was in... the direction Sergey was heading. A grin spread across his maw and he shifted to all fours again as he trotted off, silently slipping into place beside Sergey, not saying a word. He wondered if he'd be able to have access to the library during study hall... actually, if he could recall, the classroom was connected to the library directly.

Tess wagged his tail a little as he thought about the books he might be able to read.

Arkell looked up as the speakers came on with the voice of the school director. She stood up and adjusted her backpack. She smiled down at Logan. "Well, I've got World History, but we're all pretty close to each other regardless, so sure, I'd love to walk with you" she giggled, turning to scuttled out of the cafeteria.

Sergey stopped walking and turned a little to see that Tess was walking behind him. He narrowed his eyes at the dog boy and turned back, choosing to ignore him. As he walked he pulled out his schedule and looked down at it. "Study Hall first.....vill come in handy to have zat before Chemistry. Stupid science..." he muttered darkly. He stopped again to quickly glance up and make sure of where he was going, completely ignoring the directors small speil. He walked away from the dorms and towards the 5 buildings that contained all the classrooms and entered into the middle building for his first class.

"Oh joy. Detention because I dont show up for something I dont need to do." Huilliame said, hoping to change the subject.
"Well maybe a dorm room isnt the best place for me to be hiding out. I'll probably be in enough trouble for being in a girls room anyway. Wanna go see if theres any caves or anything?" He stepped towards the door and changed to a regular flesh colour. Except when he did there was a fine peach fuzz on his face as well.
