Forgotten Temple
exclaim This area is enveloped by the Anti-Field. Being in this area causes fatigue, and while here you must count down from ten with each post. When you reach 0, the strain becomes too much and you pass out or get out. exclaim Ageless stone is cast into flickering shadow by torchlight. The floor is blackened stone that one thousand years ago flowed as hot magma. A single throne, magnificent and gold, sits against the wall, untarnished by the passing years. Vast, simultaneously a place of worship and battle, the bodies of fallen heroes are strewn against a far wall, forever preserved by the merciless Unity Field. Where this temple stands is immaterial. It is a place that has one foot in this realm and one foot in the realms above. A portal has appeared on the wall opposite the throne.

+++The Cyberpunk would stumble forward and roll forward even more as he lost his balance. Though, he would get up within a moment's notice and have his chainsword off of his back and his thumb resting over the activation rune. Vahn was freaking out about something and that had to mean danger was on it's way. He didn't know if he was still in the Unity Field, but regardless he'd fight if the time was right. A small smirk formed upon his lips.
+++"A perfect place to start your own skull throne." The tectonic plate shaking voice was back. +++"Throne-damned daemon. Why won't you shut the fug up?!" +++"Because you are destined to create a skull of thrones and pave the ground in those very same bones. Quench your thirst with the blood of your victims. Quench your hunger off of the marrow of their bones. You are destined for all of this!" Khorne would reply. +++"I'm not in the mood for this s**t..."

opaj stepped backwards through the portal, sheathing his katana as he did so. Turning, he took the room in, but remained silent...

The flickering torchlight illuminated her regal blue-tinged face, high cheeek-bones connecting to a strong angulular jaw, lips pursed tightly, her expression simultaneously somber and indignant. Azhralani, the God-Queen of Frostschild, stared ahead, still metallic blue eyes eyes looking nowhere, golden curls spilling from the delicate gold tiara atop her head. Pacing, tiger-like, in tight circles around her golden throne, hands woven into a squirming knot at the waist of her spidery lace gown, she stopped and dug a heel into the ground in a fit of frustration. She could feel the spirit-energies of her beloved people, the citizens of Frostschild, and yet...
She turned, walked quickly, high-heeled crystal shoes pounding the floor with determination, and sat in her throne. Jaw set, eyes closed, she held out a fist. I've got to keep trying, no matter what. Burning white energy began swirling around her clenched fist as she held it before her. Then, with a burst, the energy was released, a white orb crashing into the cieling, energy dispersing upon the impact. Azhralani looked about, waited. She still felt the energies of her people swirling about...yet had not returned their physical forms. A heavy sigh escaped. The God-Queen slumped in her chair, defeated.
Footsteps fast approaching. Azhralani's head jerked up, surveying the darkness. Outsiders. She advanced as a group of hazy figures emerged from the temple's shadowy depths. She quickly scanned their faces, noticed that most of them weren't wearing clothes. Figures. She scowled, then stopped before them. Outsiders have no business here. They must be responsible for shattering the stone and the disappearance of my people.
She stood tall before the outsiders, energy gathering at her right fist. "My people." Her incensed voice echoed off of the temple walls. "What have you done with them?"

+++Dzan's attention was drawn to the people coming through the portal before he felt the hair on his neck rise up. He'd growl softly to himself. There was a meta somewhere in here. A mutant? No, it would be that fake god. He'd turn on his feet as she addressed them. She was trying to be intimidating but he wasn't having any of it.
+++"Gak off." He'd glare. He wasn't the most political person, but maybe Opaj would be able to handle and smooth everything over.

What have you done with them, the woman had said. She had also referred to the disappearing people as her people. Undoubtedly, this was the GodQueen. "We didn't do it," Gaby answered, putting her hands on her hips. "They were already gone when we got here!"

"You must be the Divine God-Queen of Frostschild," opaj said, stepping forward and bowing with deep respect--not a kowtow, but a deep bow nonetheless. "We are sorry for your loss, and have come to assist you in anyway way we can."

Gaby realized she was handling the situation no better than Dzan was. She decided to keep her mouth shut and let Opaj do the talking instead.

Azhralani's cold eyes took a moment to glare at each and every one of the Outsiders, piercing them with a suspicious glower, before coming to rest opaj, who seemed to be addressing her.
"Yes, I am Azhralani, the God-Queen of Frostschild." The energy surrounding her fist held steady. "You Outsiders cannot fool me. Don't even try to give the appearance of wanting to help me. I'll repeat my question." She took one firm, resounding step towards opaj. "What have you done with my people?"

+++Dzan was merely listening to everything that was going on. He was getting tired of people acting all high and mighty and blaming him for gakking everything. It was starting to piss him. Thus, when she took a resounding step towards paj he would put himself between him and her. His thumb hitting the activation rune of the chainsword. A low rumble escaped the motor before it started up. A dull whine was heard for it was being held in the current gear; low.
+++"We didn't do s**t. If you think we did then you can gak off. You take another step forward I won't hold back."
+++"Yes that's it. Let the anger overcome you..." +++"Shut it before I start another gakking prayer!"

opaj put a hand on Dzan's shoulder, hoping it wouldn't set the man off even more. "Bleu's right, please hear us out. Fighting each other won't do us any good. You must understand, we've been through almost as many ordeals as you have, and we are on edge, but I'm sure we can sort this out peacefully..."
