With Yu-Gi-Oh! GX coming to an end, a new series is coming out from Japan! Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D with all new cards will change how we play. (In a way). 18 year old protagonist (Yusei Fudou) uses new type of cards called "Synchro" and "Tuner".

The Cards
Synchro: Card frame color is white and placed in the Fusion Deck. Its actually called "Extra Deck". Placing the "Synchro" monsters in the Fusion Deck is called "Extra Deck".
Tuner: These monsters are needed to help summon the "Synchro".
• Synchro monsters can be summoned only if you have the requirement of monster level on your field.

Junk Synchron (DARK)
Lv. 3 [Warrior/ Tuner]
When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Special Summon
1 Level 2 or lower Monster in your Graveyard in face-up Defense
Position on your side of the field. Effect of the Special Summon
monster by this effect are negated.
ATK: 1300 / DEF: Unknown
Junk Warrior (DARK)
Lv. 5 [Warrior/ Synchro]
"Junk Synchron" + Non-Tuner monster
The ATK of this card is increased by the total ATK of all face-up
Level 2 or lower monster you control.
ATK: 2300 / DEF: 1500
How to use:
• Now lets say you build your deck around these new monsters. The "Synchro" monster placed in the Fusion Deck and the "Tuner" monsters in your Main Deck. "Get your game on!"
Player A:
Its your turn, you Summon [Alantean Pikeman] (Level 2) in Attack Position. Next, you set [Sakuretsu Armor]. Your turns done.
Player B:
Now its your opponent's turn. [Battle Ox] is summoned. Time for battle! [Battle Ox] attacks and you activate [Sakurestu Armor]! Boom! Disappointed, your opponent end its turn.
Player A:
Its your turn again! You drew [Junk Synchron] (Level 3), and it is summoned to the field. You now have the requirement for "Synchro" monster. Send both monsters to the Graveyard and Special Summon [Junk Warrior] (Level 5) from your Extra Deck. Battle time!
• This is just a demonstration on how it is played.
