01 / 18 / 2008 Halo: The RP I wish to address all of those involved in our legendary guild, Halo: The RP. As I'm sure all over you have noticed at one point in time,
whether it be recent or far in the past, that our guild has been slowly dieing. We, the commanding officers and upholders of this guild have come
to see that it is not you, the Marines and Navy men who have put a fatal wound in our guilds side, but it is the higher up officers that are relied upon.
There have been far too many breaks within the story, and for that we are sorry. Our guild has staked it's name in the heart of history, not because of
me, or because of any of the other officers, but because of you. You are the ones that kept their faith, even in the hardest of times; that showed
respect for their superiors, and when appropriate, questioned orders. You are the ones that has kept it alive until now, and for that we are grateful.
You have remained faithful to us, and it is time that we return the favor. We are initializing what we shall call, the H2-B/M Protocol (a total revamp
of the guild and it's structure) starting December 22, 2007. All the threads will be saved on multiple hard drives and stored for future reference, then
deleted. The guild will look empty, but in spirit you are her true innards, the ones who keep her alive. While she undergoes the H2-BM Protocol, we ask
that you do not leave, do not post, do not utter one word against your fellow Marines and Navy men. What we ask of you, is your support and
loyalty for the extended time that it takes, to make everything better and a just system. The only thing not being touched is the Museum of Humanity.
Thank you for staying loyal to the UNSC: we hope that you enjoy the holidays (happy Hanukkah, merry Christmas, and happy New Year) and
that come the glorious year of 2008, you will come home to a rejuvenated guild, full of life.

02 / 14 / 2008 As of today, the 14th of February 2008, the RP thread for Installation 79 is closed. It's been the first RP thread since the guild Re-Vamp, and needless to say, we've had a really good first run. We've laughed, we've cried, we've fought and lost people close to us, but the important thing is that everyone had fun. Several characters have had interesting developments in either their pasts or their possible futures, so for now I drink to the promise of future adventures! Also, seeing as how the ex-main RP thread is now locked, posting is to commence in the UNSC Monterey sub-forum until the next main plot is revealed. Rock on!

05 / 17 / 2008 I have been hearing a lot about how people would like to start their own role plays in the guild, and up until now I've been denying them with an iron fist. My reasoning was if there was another role play in the main forum, or in the guild for that matter, the story lines and characters would get mixed up. I have come to realize that this is not the case. I have decided to allow sanctioned User Created Role Plays or U.C.R.P.'s. What this means is that you may have a role play of your own in the guild, have users join up in your ranks and have a posting bonanza. You just have to go through me first. It's much like going through security at the airport without the waiting and metal detectors. I want to know what you have! Yes, there's a procedure so if you thought just private messaging me telling me what your U.C.R.P. is about was it.... You're right! I simply want to know the backbone of your U.C.R.P.: if you've got a set of rules, a format for characters and a story/plot. If you've got the Big Three I'll give you the O.K. and you may begin constructing your thread. Does this mean you message me saying "Hey Des, I've got all my stuff can I make the thread"? You do that and the answer will be no, but I won't limit you. Just come back with the Big Three and I'll sanction it. So remember to provide all your stuff in the first message to me so we can get this done quick and efficiently. Want to know something really cool too? If you can find members outside the guild that would like to participate in your U.C.R.P. then you can make a list and give it to me. There need to be five or more names on the list before I will send the invite so get to lookin'!

03 / 08 / 2009 >> Mission Update All UNSC ground forces have been withdrawn from Illisium City. All units are aboard either the UNSC Armored Prayer or the UNSC Ready Made. All UNSC forces have been ordered to regroup on Portia, New Harmony's moon. The RP will continue on Portia until such time as we move to reclaim Illisium City and the rest of New Harmony.
