What Once Was Lost

A Letter from HAMr v-2
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Throughout the years Halo: The RP has thrived here, on Gaia. I have said it numerous times before, but it never hit so much to home until now; without the members, who have doen an astounding job by supporting the guild, where would we be today? I can tell you that without everyone together there wouldn't be a Halo role play to come home to, to sit down to, to love like I know we all do. But like a well written novel, or the Halo Universe itself this guild has gone through preliminary chapters in time, "Age"s we can call them.
Age of Creation
When Norijitsu first created Halo: The RP it wasn't anything but an aspiration to a dream, an unrealistic endeavor fraught with obstacles. But he worked tirelessly to reinforce his belief that one day it would open, and others could love Halo just as much as He. In all senses he is the Maker of Halo: The RP, the sole founder and the one man to truly make a difference in this guild. His brilliant ideas were the foundation for what this guild is now, for the guild we love, that I love. This was the Age of Creation.
Age of Evolution
As the time moved on the guild moved and evolved, gaining support. This was the time in which I joined Halo: The RP. At the time we were role playing in a thread titled Theta Halo, and Norijitsu and Legatoblue were Captain and Vice-Captain. My old mentor Mathias Anak was still role playing here, having been a veteran himself. We loved to role play here, earning our stars and stripes, and getting involved in the most popular Halo role play on Gaia. It was at this time that the guild began to evolve into what it is today; a literate role play that's fun and user friendly. Towards the end many figureheads began to leave the guild, moving on to boot camp, real life priorities, or other things that took precedence in their life. This was the Age of Evolution.
Age of Reconstruction
At the time I was just a crew member, but I had begun to pour over the guild and it's faults, looking at what had nearly killed the guild and left it inactive. Norijitsu picked me to be his successor to this fantabulous throne, and I only took the job with the promise that I would restore the guild to it's former glory. I spent countless hours working in the guild, moving threads, deleting posts, creating new formats and layouts; in the end I had to redo almost everything. But during this time I created the Museum of Humanity, the Archive of all the guild's past role playing threads, and the Resnick Monument, a subforum for all the inspirational and memorializing threads in Halo: The RP. When I announced the finishing of the guild to Norijitsu he was blown out of the water at the reformation of his guild; he absolutely loved it, and told me to hold onto the Captainship; I sent out a private message prior to every member of the guild with three or more posts. Surprisingly several, several members came back as well as new members joining by the dozens. Within three months the post count jumped from three thousand posts to ten thousand posts. The guild was coming to life once again. This was the Age of Reconstruction.
Age of Reclamation
This is where we are now: The Age of Reclamation. After everything that has happened, we have come to the completion of the guild and the completion of the main Halo Story Arch. We are the most literate, and most active Halo role play in all of Gaia; we have journeyed into the howling dark, and we have returned. We fought to keep the guild active, and we will continue to fight with conviction. With The Hegemon as your Vice-Captain, and me as your Captain, we will continue forward and claim the glory that rightfully belongs to this guild. You see, we are Reclaimers, and the Age of Reclamation is just beginning.
