Name: Yuuri Shibuya (pronounced ~ Yur~e Shib~bu~wa)
Gender: Male
Breed: Kyo Kara Maoh Cosplay
Element: Water/Celestial
Found: 07/23/07 (Owned by Rein_C & Guardian Yami)
Temperament: Unpredictable
Mate: Fond of Feena
Lineage:
Personality: Yuuri has never had the best of luck in his life. Believing that he was once a two-legger royalty figure he now walks in the body of a soquili. Straying far from everything he knew, Yuuri now tries to understand and cope with everyday things. Not understanding why he is dressed in strange clothing, he tends to base that off of the other past he had. He does have a cheeky side to him with humorous overtones. He’s quick to get embarrassed and will stutter or laugh if he feels intimidated as well.

Then there is the other part of him that Yuuri himself doesn’t recognize. There lies a deeper, stronger, and more forceful personality that’s triggered from the mere attempt of causing an innocent harm. Spoken words of truth, the one Yuuri acknowledges as the Maoh or demon King, is definitely something of a spirit that resides within him. When his mind is made up he’ll pass judgement on the oppressor, even if it means that individual’s life could be on the line.

samus x
User Image

Samus grunted as he landed in a clearing in his own graceful way. eyeing the area, it was about evening time and the sun was setting. since he had spent a great deal of the day flying and finaly came o this area he figured it was time to relax as the evening time was his favorite time. flewing his wings, at the moment thy where aching from the long flight. glancing about once more, he felt he had choosen the right spot to land. it seemed no one was about at this perticular moment which he was glad. letting out a huge yawn he figured if he stayed here too long someone would invade this area. huffing, he shook his mane and plopped on the ground. let anyone come, for now he was wanting to relax.

He swore he was drunk stepping out of a puddle into this strange new land resembling the old home but yet not. Where in the heck was he? Not his homeland that was for sure. Sniffing the area he sneezed stamping the ground. Where, how, where, why, he questioned realizing his body had changed into that of a horse.

"Oh this is just great. And I'm stuck in the uniform too" he grumbled to himself.

Wait a minute. I was always a horse right? I mean the uniform still fits and I'm me right? So where is everyone? Conrart! Wolfram?" he snorted looking this way and that.

"Ahaa really funny guys... really funny" he chuckled looking around himself once more, "This isn't funny guys. oh dear where am I?"

Faintly glowing a blue hue in color he stumbled along till he came across another stallion. Smiling he switched his tail and said, "Ah Hello there. where am I?"

samus x
Samus had not noticed anythign he had started falling alseep right where he laided. suddenly he heard a voice. wtf..... his eyes snapped opened and he quickly got to his feet as his eyes darted about. finaly seeign the stallion who interupted his peaceful quiet, his head was lowered and he growled. " how the hell am i suppost to know? i don't know where the hell i am myself." snorting, he was quick to be defensive specialy when this stallion came out of now where and he had been half alseep. sometimes he wasnt so rude but it all depended on the suituation and his mood.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri blinked taken aback by this stranger's not so nice greeting. What the hell was he supposed to know. Oops better be friendlier in a strange land, right?

"Ah hahaha right. I'm not from around here. Thought my friends were playing tricks on me as usual... ah guess not." he frowned looking stupefied of what else to say. The last thing he wanted was the maoh taking over and possessing him, or so the other's had said.

Right now he was trying to remain calm and not pass a justice call upon someone he didn't know. "Ah I'm Shibuya Yuuri. I'm from Japan et err the demon kingdom?" Hmm were the hell was he from anyway these days... frankly he didn't know as much water that transported him here and there.

"Right. So what's your name? Can't call you hey right?" he sweatdropped along with chuckling in front of this darker creature. What else was he supposed to do, sit like a dog on all fours? I think not.

samus x
Samus grunted and tossed his mane that had a bit of hair that hung with a wolfs tooth tied on to it. " your a odd one." was all he could respond with to Yuuri's statments. flicking his tail he had a raised brow. " wouldn't be much of a name if i where called hey. and since you asked my name is Samus." staring at Yuuri, he ruffled his wings as he did so. in his eyes this Yuuri stallion was definatly odd specialy with the cloths though some might call him odd with the spiked collor on his leg, the bandages and the wolfs tooth that was tied to part of his mane.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri wondered what this newcomer was saying well Samus was his name.
Alright then now what do I do since I'm here in this strange land with Mr. Grump? Strange? Eh? Yuuri wondered why Mr. Dark and Spooky would say that when he himself was more odd than he. No matter, maybe this meeting might help him understand a local of these parts, let alone know something about the area.

"Nice to meet you Samus. Now that we have that squared away, Do you know anything about this place? anything at all?" he asked with a flicker in his eye. Mr. Maoh was right around the corner if Yuuri wasn't careful. Which the stallion nodded to himself it wasn't his fault when he supposedly erupted like a volcano. It just happened when it felt like it.

Connecting with his inner self he found tranquility. Maybe the Maoh would stay asleep for at least one day.

samus x
Samus had only called Yuuri odd jsut for the mear fact he wore clothing which was something humans did. he shook his head at Yuuri's question. " nope not a darn thing, just came to this land myself. so i havent explored yet since i was resting after having a long flight when you showed up, so your the first i seen around here " raising a brow at noticing the flicker in his eyes, he wondered just what was going through Yuuri's mind right then. " you ask alot of questions."

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri felt taken aback slightly. Asking too many questions? Repeating this in his mind he couldn't comprehend that statement. Had he always asked questions? Really he thought that was normal in a strange place. But wait. He wasn't mocking Yuuri was he? Strangely enough he felt that tingle deep within his very being.

No no not now... he hasn't done anything to disrupt justice.

Yuuri pushed that power away with everything he had though a faint glow shined upon his coat in a deep and sincere warning.

What the? Usually the maoh took over immediately. What if I can control it here in this land?

He grinned and looked at the other stallion. "Well its good to ask questions if you think about it. Might help you get to where you are going, or rather where you are." he nodded firmly stamping a hoof, followed by a toss of his head.

samus x
Samus was odd and blunt at times which where random. for a moment he had a raised brow at Yuuri for his reaction, then suddenly the odd wolfish grin came to Samus' face. " i suppose your right, so i guess i should apologize for my rudness." his social skills where lacking alot due to hardly being near anyone for so long. " so what shall we do? we both dont even know this area at all."

Rein_Carnation
What to do? What to do? He had no clue watching the contrast of himself in ebony compared to the ghosted white that covered himself.

To his left there was a cluster of trees. High above him the moon was rising though the sun still flickered its glowing Aura settling down for the final wait till morning. Finally there was a stream or lake, something holding a water source that trickled and sang in his alert ears.

"Hmm well I think" he paused hearing a rustling noise in the cluster of darkened trees, "Did you hear something?" he snorted with his fur growing rigid at the withers and hocks. Something smelled horribly wrong to the tall stallion. There was blood on this creature's breath and a strangeness in the way it scurried or scampered near them.

samus x
Samus would have replyed sooner if only the sudden ruslling, hadn't caused him to suddenly flick his ears back and suddenly snarl. his was on edge and brisling with anger that something lurked about that he couldn't yet see. " yeah......... and seems its coming to us." ruffling his wings, with narrowed eyes, he stood still as a statue waiting by Yuuri for what ever creature was lurking.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri felt the glow overtake him before he willed it. Such a strange feeling that his fetlocks were getting heavier all of a sudden as they fluffed out around his large feet. Swinging back and forth the pendent swayed glowing that same strange blue aura that engulfed his entire being. His mane had even gotten a bit more winded in appearance. Whatever the case, the maoh was taking over poor Yuuri once again.

"Foul beast of the night, you lurk in the shadows yet your intentions are clear. Dare to attack either of us and you shall face your judgement with a swift iron hoof" he bellowed as his feet pawed the ground with swift sliding movements upon the shaken ground.

He waited for its entrance knowing full well it was a savage creature. The more he glared and snorted the more he glowed in a beautiful yet frighting blue aura.

samus x
Samus' eyes grew wide as he saw the change in Yuuri and it made him back away from him. even more edgy than ever he kept his ears pinned flat against his head and eyes narrowed. now his eyes darted from Yuuri to where ever he heard the beast that was coming. stomping a hoof, this situation was one he didnt like one bit specialy with Yuuri now being weird on top of a beast lurking.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri's eyes flickered as he held himself strong and almost fearful as he waited for this creature, this menace to rear its ugly head. Snorting he pawed the ground knowing the sickness that was waiting had to be destroyed and fast. Turning to Samus he nodded, "Fear not what I've become, fear more what will destroy you if one bite or scratch is allowed from that which waits.

Slinking out of the bushes was a cat-like creature with a strangeness floating about it. Could of been a mountain lion at one time possibly. Whatever the case its body had been wracked and destroyed with an almost sickly appearance. The head twitching violently it carried a stony gaze as a strange lather formed around its moth and dripped occasionally at its feet. It seemed to smile in a maddening gaze at the stallions with not even an ounce of fear in its cruel disgusting gaze.

samus x
Samus snarled and bared his teeth as he saw the apparently rapid feline. he didnt take his eyes off the creature before them that was definatly out to attack one of them or both. standign very still as he kept his eyes on the creature, his wings ruffled slightly not in irritation but in anger he had allowed himself to get into this postition in the first place by letign his guard be down.

Rein_Carnation
It grinned at them as a taunt, a malicious conniving grin of its intentions. And before either stallion knew what was to happen, it leaped out at them blindly with its foaming roar. Claws outstretched it sought a target, mouth gaping wide for the attack.

Yuuri snorted stepping backwards rearing high in the air to connect with this vile thing if he had to. He was worried for Samus, but he himself had to keep focus on the grinning tabby as well. Lashing out with his hooves he bellowed deeply, "I do not stand for killing but you leave me no choice, justice will be served" Coming down swiftly he clipped the creature in the shoulder.

The cat called out in pain, though its delerious state whispered nothing of reality to it. Like a drone to its enslaver it focused this time on Samus aiming to bite and tear to soothe its torment. Turning in an arch it attacked.

[prp]oh snap 2 unpridictable personalities (for me and rein) Tue Jul 24, 2007

samus x
Teeth bared, he had backed up with flared wings when the feline had launched its asult on Yuuri. ears pinned he backed again, rearing like Yuuri had, with his front hooves aiming to smack the feline that dared to attack him. anger rising, he would soon kill the beast before it would hurt or kill him.

Rein_Carnation
The beast was grinning ever so horribly at Samus as it lunged just nearly taking a piece of him. It was sad really the creature was consumed by madness for its eyes seemed very much dead and malicious. It knew that either stallion was capable of taking its life yet it still advanced this time on Yuuri. It would feast on one of them, just a matter of time.

Yuuri felt the surge in him as the creature came at him once again. Powerful forelegs stomping the ground as they rose and fell. He felt his hooves connect with the beast's head hearing the crack in the shoulder causing it to stumble. "Justice shall be served, no holds barred evil one".

The cat staggered, its breath rasping horribly a whistle almost with a choking hiss. But, it still advanced toward Samus growing more angry by the second. Its muzzle now was dripping blood from Yuuri's parry to its attack. Deep inside it was raging yet that flickering essence deep within still fighting its own battle wanted nothing more than death itself. A calm to subdue the drive was all it ever wanted. But it was unfathomable as long as the disease was its controller.

samus x
Samus kept his ears pinned and his teeth bared.he no longer noticed Yuuri who was near him, as his focus was only on the diseased beast now advancing yet again. wings closed tightly to his side, it was a poor mistake to advance on Samus now. a grin came to his face as he and the beast now circled each other. suddenly with out waiting for the beast to attack he launched his assult on the beast before it even could react properly. too bad for the diseased thing because as he was attack his back was snapped from the force of Samus' hooves. it was unfortunate that now Samus went into a unpredictable frenzy, stomping his hooves about wildly that hit the beast even more.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri was about to interfere when he paused noticing the beast was merely a drooling form of blood and saliva. Curling his lip upwards he shook his head at the vile thing feeling disgusted he had even touched it, let alone get near it. The problem currently though was Samus in his bizarre frenzy from getting near the rabid cat. Yuuri stepped forward bellowing his voice past the other's tuned out senses.

"Samus. Heed its cracked form for it lies dead. Lower your anger and let it pass lest you become a slave to its vile death."

Yuuri pondered Samus coming at him in this state, not a wise idea. Perhaps he would simmer and feel peace coming back to him again. Or maybe a good swift kick is all he needed.

samus x
Samus stopped at Yuuri's words, and he gave a cold stare.ears still completely flat against his head, he backed away with leg and hooves covered with blood though at first the thought of attackign Yuuri had crossed his mind before comign back to reality. taking a deep breath he had allowed himself to lose control when the beast attacked multiple times, causing him anger at allowing himself to be caught off guard inthe first place by the beast. wings ruffling, he was finaly now calm ears still pinned but not in anger but more in shame that he had allowed himself to loose control but then he had to protect himself from the vile thing.

Rein_Carnation
If anything in the entire world made a stench, this was definitely worth noting. Imagine spoiled meat setting in the sun for days on end becoming more fragrant with a vile nauseous aura about it. Then you'd understand what drifted into each of the stallion's nostrils at that moment.

Yuuri was relieved Samus had calmed his rage letting the demon fade away like a specter abandoning its haunting. Mane seeming to be less full along with the pendent dimming set the pale stallion back into a reserved state with a curious host.

"Wha?" he blinked looking around him bewildered, for he didn't realize the demon had taken over his mentality a moment ago. Looking down he noticed the cracked bleeding corpse lying on the ground backing away nervously, "I don't want to know what that is, or for that matter what you did to it." Snorting he backed a fair bit away from both followed with a shake of his head. He had no recollection of even remotely what just happened.

samus x
Samus hardly noticed anything and only could stare at Yuuri in disbelief that he could so easly forget what had just happened just moments before. " your kidding me right? i refuse to beleive you could so easly forget that we both where attacked by the creature layign dead on the ground." eyes narrowign as he eyed yuuri, he wondered what the hell was up with him. it was like one minute the stallion was normaland the next he switched personalities completey and chenged back without even noticing it. " your crazy if you do not remeberwhat happened." shaking his head, he moved away from the now dead creature that laid at his feet. wrinkling his nose he now needed and wanted to clean the blood off him.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri blinked totally unconvinced that he was supposed to know just what... the Maoh did. Oh dear, he knew that feeling, that pulsating blue light that burned in his very soul. The one that made him into a darker preordained individual. What confused him was the fact he never remembered what the demon did when it was aroused out of slumber. He was ill to think that quite possibly he had helped kill a creature, let alone touch something that horrific.

Yuuri shook his head turning sharply toward Samus, "What did you see... I need to know. What happened to me". His voice wasn't exactly pleading, but there was a ring of urgency to how much damage his "other self" had caused this round.

Staring directly at the other stallion his eyes were dead set. It was rare when he learned of the darker soul within him, perhaps this would be a first.

samus x
Samus ruffled his wings finding the urgency in Yuuri's voice unnerving since at first he thought he might have just been playing him. he didnt turn to look anywhere else when Yuuri stared him right in the eyes. " we where attack by that thing there and since i lost control i was the one who killed it. you sound as if your worried about having done something." that was all he said since that was all that happened in the first place and there was no need to dance around the topic. snorting he stood still, wondering what was up with Yuuri and why he seemed so worried.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri tossed his head and stamped a foot with a great swift smack that echoed on the ground. So that presence had showed itself, just beautiful for Samus to witness the one thing Yuuri could never truly fathom. First he swore himself to be human of course, but no... he was a soquili that had dreams of being a two-legger. That he'd understood fully by now, sad to say really.

"I see," his great maw muttered with a ruffle of his wings. Now it was making sense if there was danger involved, like a calling card for the great demon sleeping within. But the question was this that trailed deeply in the stallion's great mind as he stood there contemplating things. Would he be so bold to confide in Samus, letting him know of his predicament, or would he let a sleeping demon lie and remain silent?

"I think I need to get a drink," words almost translucent were uttered yet unrelieved. Perhaps with Samus next response he'd decide his unwilling faith or not.

samus x
Samus grunted and moved past Yuuri in the direction he had saw a river before he had landed here in the clearing. " follow me then i had seen a river before i landed in this area. i need to clean myself of this wreched stench anyways." ruffling his wings and wrinkling his nose the smell was not good adn the blood that was on his leggs was begining to ich from it drying. walking away he figured if Yuuri wanted to follow he would and if not no matter he was more concerned over geting clean as he felt gross at the moment.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri grumbled but followed after still scrunching his nose at that ungodly smell that emanated from the now cracked and decaying thing. Flies were arriving as would most of the other things for a feeding frenzy.

"I'll be right there," he responded back to Samus.

The stallion paused looking around for something just then noticing a shallow cave. Lining up the body and the cave he gave a swift kick as it flew inward. Noticing a rock he pushed it with his nose till it covered the hole from the daylight. Finally he was satisfied nothing could eat that cursed flesh that would soon be maggot infested and impossible to recognize..

Snorting he looked down at his large furry feet, noticing the blood splattered here and there. Muttering he grumbled again, "Bath wouldn't be so bad right about now."

Walking solemnly after Samus he headed toward the water source.

samus x
Samus snorted and wrinkled his nose as the offending smell almost seemed to linger about for a moment when he stopped and glanced back at Yuuri. witing for yuuri to be done with what he was doing he gave a nod and contiuned on his way. " unless you like blood covering you a bath is good." keeping his wings tight to his side, he walked to where he knew the water was without glancing back at Yuuri again.

Rein_Carnation
Smelling the water Yuuri trotted past Samus and dived in so to speak. True his outfit would be a bit restricting, but did it matter when you were covered in a vile stench? Shaking his head he raised his front legs and stomped with a hard strength within him. Burying his muzzle in the water he snorted and drank heavily. There was no telling just what disease that thing had, that now lied upon both stallions. As he splashed about spreading his wings, Yuuri started feeling more clear and refreshed.

"There we go. Ack so tight... I'll be glad when this thing dries. You alright Samus?" he noted towards his outfit now clinging to his large body and the other's welfare.. At least he wasn't full of blood and guts like beforehand.

[prp]oh snap 2 unpridictable personalities (for me and rein) Tue Jul 24, 2007

samus x
Samus didn't bother to keep up with yuuri when he passed him to go splashign into the water. going to the right side of Yuuri, Samus went into the water and instantly started to feel better as the cold water hit his legs. goign in as deep as he felt comfertable with he looked over at yuuri when he asked if he was alright. "yeah i'm just fine specialy now that i can rid myself of that blood. and why do you wear that stuff if its an annoyance when wet?" he was more than courious because he had yet to meet anyoen other than him to be wearign such things.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri who was still indulging in his cleanliness choked looking over at Samus. It was uncomfortable yes, but how would it come off anyway. Weird as it was when he awoke in this strange land, he was fully dressed in something from a dream. He could not say if he was born in it or not. Dreams of walking on two legs and being a king, now there was something far fetched to say the least.

"I really don't know," was his answer. To him it was part of who he was. "Its just uh been on me since I can remember, sure does get tight though when I soak in water. Though whatever its made of dries rather quickly. So guess that's all right."

He noticed the pendent was glowing again as he thought of the other presence.

Ah Samus must think I'm the weirdest Soquili he's ever met. Can't say I blame him really.

samus x
Samus merly shugged at yuuri. " well i guess whatever suits you though i guess you dont got much of a choice since i dont even know how you would remove that stuff without some twolegger taking it off for you." he wrinkled his nose as he spoke of two-leggers whom he didn't care to be around or trust. " if it where me i suppose i would rather wear the stuff than go near a two-legger." oh he found the stuff Yuuri had odd but he didn't really care too much about it. raisign a brow at yuuri he snorted. " pretty much the thing came, you seemed to then change when it did come then it attacked us which we defended ourr selfs. though it ended with me endig its life, which is when you changed back." ofcourse samus had no clue why it was so important to yuuri to know what happen but whatever the case there was no reason not to tell him stright forward what happened.

Rein_Carnation
So it was true. Samus' direct words of change had been revealed and verified. But the thing that puzzled the great stallion was the fact that Samus didn't seem to have any fear or curiosity to why Yuuri had indeed went crazy on him.

It was always the same, stories that prevailed from Yuuri's sudden change in personality. A strange sense of justice that emanated from him, a weird power that only showed itself when others were in danger or threatened by something dark. Even anger could trigger the stallion's full out power.

"Then you met the demon, " he sighed but stood quite confidently saying those words. The blue light of the pendent was his amplifier he guessed, but the power that lied within him was there since he could remember. Sure he was no deity but he could call upon a strength when he needed it. Perhaps that might come in handy if ever another would need his assistance.

"I had a dreadful feeling that the other part of me reared its head when that thing came out at us. Thing is it always drains my strength afterwards" he yawned with a toss of his head.

Now what would happen the stallion pondered. Would Samus consider him a weirdo and go his own way, or would he accept the strangeness that dominated Yuuri's sub conscience. Whatever the case the great stallion from another life was ready to accept the other's decision.

samus x
Samus raised a brow at Yuuri as he was told he had a different side of him that it seemed when it came out he had no memory of it happening. ofcourse he found it odd even weird because he had never met anyone like Yuuri. " so your basicly tellign me you have another side of you that you never remeber when it comes out? pretty odd and weird if you ask me but then who isnt odd to atlest one soquili." tossing his mane, he made his way out of the water that was now makign him cold. " i suggest finding a place to rest since your yawning." wrinkling his nose it could be seen he was almsot about to yawn also from watching Yuuri yawn.

Rein_Carnation
A place to rest. Yes, his legs did feel quite weak and unstable as the cold water was soaking into them. Odd though Samus was taking rather calmly to this matter, which frightened away so many others given the chance. The thought occurring to him that finding a friend or mare that would accept such lunacy was second to none. He literally was screwed in this new form wasn't he?

Oh well there had to be some hope, somewhere.

"A place to rest? Are you tired too?" the great white stallion asked shuffling his thick shire feet out of the water. Truth be told his form was shivering now from the chill setting in.

He pondered what else the ebony stallion had said too. And along those lines he thought very carefully, remembering what he was told in that other life.

~The great Maoh! (Demon King) only emerged in times of trouble or when someone was victimized. A great justice bringer speaking truth with words of deep judgement. Becoming stronger, more agile and intelligent. A desire to overcome and seek revenge. This is what Samus had seen, the almighty spirit of the other governing his actions.

"Well, Hmm where do you suggest we go then? I think a bit of quietness would do us both good." the taller male yawned once more letting his withers twitch from the hidden chills.

samus x
" after fightign that bastered thing i'm a bit tired but not overly tired." ofcourse after a fight he had become only a bittired but not so tired he would have to sleep but a nice quiet rest did sound rather nice. he usualy was the calm one unless it came to where he was under alot of pressure where he didnt keep his emotions under control thats when he wouldn't be as calm as his usual self. though samus had no clue what happened with yuuri he only asumed yuuri just had a split personality that came out whenever and because he felt no threat from that other side of yuuri he wouldnt dwell on it not atlest unless he was threatened. " anywhere thats sheltered and away from the cold would due and i rather like things quiet."

Rein_Carnation
The aching set in all at once causing the large bold stallion to stumble as he walked along.

"Better soon than never, "He sighed turning his head this way then that, "Ah there we go." Noticing a deep cove nestled in the trees that was thick and silent. He stepped forward smelling the area deeply. No sign of danger omitted from the tranquil place. "See its nice, calm, and quiet. Perfect."

Then Yuuri yawned and walked in lying down starting with his front, then back end, finally curving his legs then resting his head snugly. A deep blackness was swelling over Yuuri like a dense fog before his eyes closed. Nothing else was heard, not even Samus as the stallion drifted out of conscious.

samus x
Samus was not so worn that he would stumble as yuuri had and he figured yuuri could manage himself in walkign no matter how tired but that was him asuming. " agreed." his eyes darted one way to another as he was nto too quick to let his guard down even if the place was nice and quiet specialy after what happened. once he was satisfied he layed down where he felt comfertable to rest and noticed Yuuri had already drifted off to sleep. no matter he most likey wasnt goign to fall alseep soon but he would make himself comfertable to rest for a while. layign hsi head down, he closed his eyes though his ears twitched about that was the only sign he was still awake.

Rein_Carnation
The time that passed wasn't accountable to the dreary eyed stallion that awoke with a deep yawn. His tail thumped the ground as a thunder like sound announced him getting to his feet. The hooves being massive that supported such a huge creature such as himself. Yuuri had been dreaming of that other life, the two legged-one. The friends he knew, the powers he possessed, now simply imagination or dreams it seemed to the burly stallion dressed in the odd cloths.

"Hey Samus you awake?," he asked with a flick of his ear. Yawning again Yurri looked around where he was. Standing within a nice cleared cove sheltered from the rain and snow. Now where was he to go? What would he do to occupy himself that he was a permanent resident of this land the great stallion wondered.

"Oi Samus you awake?" he mumbled then shook his head. The sunlight was drifting inward with splotches around him. Shaking the ruff that hung from his neck, the stallion stepped out into the daylight, feeling the warmth surround him like a blessed loved one.

samus x
Samus had not been able to stay awake with closed eyes and had drifted off to sleep not too long after Yuuri had. upon hearing Yuuri call his name he awoke a startled to have been alseep when he had not ment to.shaking his after giving a grunt, he got to his feet slowly. " yeah i am now." rufflign his wings that wanted to be stretched he moved past Yuuri so that he could. " so now what?" wrinkling his nose and yawning he wondered if it was time to go back on his own again seeing as the events with yuuri where over and thre wwasnt much else to do and the sky looked so inviting at the moment.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri shook his head basking in the sunlight that warmed his pale fur. "I don't know. I'm sure you've put up with me enough though," he noted turning back to glance into the darker stallion's eyes. Flexing his wings with a stretch he stamped the ground making the earth tremble beneath his hooves.

"Its more what you think Samus," he paused to glance upward at a passing bluejay, "I have all the time in the world to do things it seems. I just don't feel like falling asleep in a puddle and waking up heaven knows where."

He really was tired of that sensation. One moment you're one place, then the next you're elsewhere with no idea where the start or end was.

Yuuri's introduction to life in this land wasn't that boring.

samus x
" things would get dull if one decided to just fall alseep in a puddle, only to lay and wait for something to awaken them." giving a toss of his mane he felt the urge to go flying as his wings iched with the want of movement. " who knows maybe we shall meet again but for now i must go until we meet again." giving a unrulely grin at Yuuri he then took off to the skys without so much as waiting for a reasponce from Yuuri. the sky breeze that blew his mane as he left felt good and he was content for now.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri nodded as the darker steed took to the air without hesitation.

"Take care samus, though I know you can't hear me. And thanks."

Ah I bet he thought I was a nutjob... hmm he's probably right. Oh well.

Shaking his head he chuckled then looked around him for guidance where to go. The place seemed so foreign yet it made Yuuri curious what was out there to see. Spreading his own wings he left in the opposite direction, heading higher in the clouds. None of the others from his dreams had made it to this land apparently. Yuuri was truly alone in a strange uncivilized place.

Perhaps there was something waiting out there for him somewhere. What he didn't know, but if he searched long enough he was sure to find it.

Rein_Carnation
She couldn't believe it as her feet stepped out into the world she thought she knew. Though still a bit shorter than most, Feena was a full fledged adult Flutter mare. She reveled this day, the instant her hooves would step out into the world with an open mind. The silly things remembered but never lost that flitted back and forth in her thriving mind. Swaying her long luscious tail over the grass she fluttered those huge sparkling wings everyone was so amazed at when she was but a foal. Strangely her necklace grew with her, as did the hair accessories too.

Everything was just right, and then as her eyes swept over the stream in front of her, she looked more enchanting than ever. Now in all her glory, she could search and find all the lost treasures in this land. Not the typical trinkets she'd found as a child, but sparkling treasures waiting in the outskirts for her to find.

Smiling, Feena lowered her head down towards the cool refreshed water and drank deeply. There'd be all the time in the world, for now she was thirsty.

Rein_Carnation
Stepping out of a stream. Why was he in a stream he wondered? The tall stallion known as Yuuri Shibuya shook his head trying to loose most of the glistening droplets that hung to his hair and coat so miserably. Basically he was soaked from head to toe, reminding him of all the plunges in and out of water from his former life. Water seemed to be his guide, causing the stallion to randomly show up in places of god knows what. First had been that puddle and now he was in a stream. Pulling himself out he shook as best he could feeling the blue necklace sway back and forth. "Conrart." he muttered thinking of an old past that would never form and take shape ever again it seemed. He simply accepted his fate as this horse form and didn't think to try and decipher it anymore. He was who he was.

Feeling a little less drenched, he walked slowly down the side of the stream bed. Eyes of a blackened darkness flickered this way and that looking for anything, anyone to talk to, or perhaps ask a few questions perhaps. As he moved along his eyes captured an image almost fantasized than real, a little female with huge a** wings. Yes he emphasized that word that came to mind. She was absolutely beautiful as her appendages shimmered in the sun's light.

Walking slowly, of course he didn't dare frighten her, he wanted to greet this mysterious beauty. "Of course if Wolfram were here, I'd really get an earful." he chuckled to himself.

Rein_Carnation
Feena was just simply enjoying herself with a moment of indulgence, when she heard the soft heavy footfalls of an incoming stallion. Looking once more in the stream she checked to make sure that her appearance hadn't changed since she last looked. When satisfied that it hadn't, she turned to face him as he was approaching. For a moment her breath sucked in sharply for he wore a strange thing much like Edward had when she met him as a foal.

Possessed indeed. The thought amused her to no end that she even remotely thought like that. Edward still probably thinks her nuts for even bringing it up. Oh well that was a long time ago, she had learned better from that experience. Saissis explained the true nature of skinwalkers and their intentions along with why they were to be avoided at all costs. Then the subject of Kalona was addressed and set into place. Neither were to be fully trusted nor were they to be approached or taunted. One's life could hang in the balance if they meddled with things they didn't understand. Best to let sleeping wolves lie and stare at the sunset that held much more beauty.

So she shook that whole thought from her mind, though it remained deeply set so she wouldn't forget. For now Feena was curious of the newcomer and his strange cloths he wore. Such a handsome sort, tall and very muscular. Huge thick feet and feathery wings dipped in black that melted within a coat very similar to her own. Around his neck there hung a striking blue pendent that shimmered when light touched upon it. Mane and tail hung full and heavy with curled ends in a deep black that offset his matching eyes.

Wow. Wonder where he's from?

Shaking her head she smiled at him, "Hello there. What brings you this way on such a beautiful morning?" Feena wanted to make a good impression of course, so why not say something nice.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri walked slowly toward her as the little beauty turned to face him. And what a beauty she was too. Slender long legs, perfect form, what more could he ask for in a vision such as she. Gorgeous long flowing green tresses adorned by striking teal colored eyes, as a jade colored pendent hung from her neck. In her tresses she carried strange orange and yellow trappings as the majority of her lower mane was caught within a gorgeous gold barrette adorned with a small ruby. Once again he thought to himself, "She looks like a Princess or something. And damn those wings that sprout from her back are just so awesome."

Wouldn't the others be shocked that he was ogling over a girl right now.

Her voice though that made the tall stallion's ears swivel to catch the sound was light and enchanting, yet it carried a a sense of maturity to it. He in return greeted her back. Beautiful.

"Ah hello err morning to you as well. And it is a lovely morning." Water dripped from his suit making him feel a bit embarrassed. "Now she'll think me to be stupid and not worth her time. Just great Yuuri. Make a good impression, not a bad one".

So now he'd see if she thought him less capable of screaming how pretty she was. Not that he didn't mind saying it to himself anyway.

Rein_Carnation
Well he's not that antisocial at least. Hee hee good start there. Wonder why he was swimming in his cloths? Hmm better ask him since its on my mind. She mused to herself her thoughts though never directly said anything out loud.

"Don't mind me asking this but, why are you soaking wet? I'd think it uncomfortable to stand in such clothing while it was that tight on my body. Not that I don't envy you for such things of course. They're so interesting."

Oh dear had she said way too much in one sitting? She hadn't even breathed her name. For that matter what was his? Couldn't just say hey you and be done with it, now could she.

"Oh the name is Feena. What's yours?" There now she felt more open with asking his name. "I'm a resident adventurer by the way. What is it that you do with your spare time? Hee hee I'd say greeting pretty girls when they encounter them. Am I right?" Now she was just breaking the ice and having fun with it. When Feena was a foal she had a habit of asking a trillion questions getting raised brows and skeptical looks. What could she say really in defense. Feena was curious sort that loved meeting others and making lifelong friends.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri grumbled inward within himself he was saying the wrong things to her. She probably was thinking how dumb he was and not to the level her own self stood within. But, for all it was worth she was smiling back at him, talking with a good humor.

"Oh I was ah well" What would he say to not sound stupid. I woke up in the stream. Now that was moronic to tell someone you were another life that just appeared out of nowhere. No that whole theory had to be kept to himself, otherwise she'd think him a bit off his rocker and too far fetched. "I fell in the stream when I hit loose turf. My feet you know are a bit big and tend to crumble the stream banks quite easily. I just happened to slip in a rather deep area, not realizing it." So he was telling a little fib, she might actually believe it... hopefully anyway.

Now the fact she envied his clothing was a bit of a chuckle. At least someone liked it. To him it was rather tight and overbearing, not to mention too showy and weird. But she actually likes it!

When she introduced herself to him, he imprinted the female's name immediately. Feena. Such a pretty name. "I'm Yuuri. Yuuri Shibuya. But you can just call me Yuuri if you want Feena, " he smiled at her amused that he was being so open and she was listening. "Feena you have a very pretty name if I may say so myself. And a resident adventurer? Wow. I'm ah let's see... just an average everyday..." Demon King. Oh no he couldn't tell her he was such a thing. Better play it safe and say something more to her liking, "Explorer of new lands." Lame. Oh well it worked for him.

But when she mentioned the fact of him greeting pretty girls he just laughed, "I guess it doesn't hurt to greet a pretty girl. Especially when they are deserving of me saying so." This made him laugh whole heartedly, but to tell the truth he felt very positive on the fact she was indeed beautiful.

Rein_Carnation
Alright, he fell in a stream, there was something laughable. Well not really if you think about it. Having a good rain and wet riverbanks weren't the best combination. But boy did he look uncomfortable soaking wet in whatever he was wearing. She tilted her head thinking a moment. "I've got an idea," she smiled walking in closer to him. With a great swoop of her large sparkling wings she began fanning him, picking up speed but never leaving the ground.

"Lets see if we can't help you along a bit shall we?" she nodded continuing to fan his wet outfit. Combined with the sun's warmth and her attempt to dry him, the process went rather smoothly, while a shower of radiant green sparkles rained from the air from her own giant butterfly like appendages.

Meanwhile, she chatted back with him listening gingerly to things he was saying. He seemed rather cheeky sometimes, or was he just nervous she wondered.

"Mmhmm.. an adventurer by heart and soul. Just give me a quest and I'll take care of it. Need a diamond found I'm there. Just like that, " she mused at her confidence, remembering times when even that was tested by fierce things such as the storm, or Ed's intimidation. But Feena wasn't a quitter, nor was she a failure. She'd never loose to anyone if she could help it, for she was a proud female with a burning passion.

"Yuuri huh? Well Yuuri who greets pretty girls. How about you come with me on an adventure? What do you say hmm? Come on it will be fun," she now smiled and winked, "I never had the chance to have company."

Her wings beaconed to him with a smile of their own. A radiant invitation which she hoped he'd accept. She rather was fond of this great stallion, not to mention he had a winning personality as well.

Stepping back from her fanning she nodded, "There you should be dry now. Hope my wings helped."

Smiling shestood still, though her heart was racing for his answer. A treasure map she'd found was calling her name.

She just had to respond.

Rein_Carnation
He watched her with a brimming smile, her beauty soaking in his deep set black eyes. When she began to fan him he couldn't help but shiver. This was a rather nice gesture for her to think of. But, oh it was so nice and warm yet cool as she dried his outfit. The fibers drying as he spoke back to her. The thing that amazed the stallion so much was the shimmering green that enveloped him and everything around them. A sparkling effervescence that lived within this flutter of a thousand smiles.

"Go with an adventure with you?" he repeated her, though it sounded like a question. Wow no one had ever asked him something this grand before. Were things looking up for him?

For a moment he pondered deeply on her proposal. Adventures meant danger right? Well what if a kalona or demon creature attacked them, she'd need someone to stand their ground and protect her. Now it was settled, he'd go with her as a companion, but would call upon the sleeping demon within him if he needed strength. So looked so incredibly frail, but her personality spoke otherwise.

"Sure" he nodded with a deep rumble in his chest, "I'd love to go on an adventure with you. It just struck me funny that you did ask, cause well ah ha ha I'm usually not asked on some special excursion such as this".

Okay, well he wasn't fully lying anyway, he was used to adventures in his former life. Or rather that's what his memories of the two-legged kind told him. But the thought of being by her side when she needed support just blew him away. Look out world Yuuri is going adventuring!

As she finished drying his clothing he grinned, "Yeah, actually it did... thanks!". Shaking his great mane by the force of his head, he smiled deeply. Imagine her and I taking on something big. Oh what lies ahead of us in this great place?

"When do we start? Err ah ha ha ready when you are Miss Feena."

He chuckled to himself being so formal, though he was a king in another life. Nah, she had more royalty than he ever would. She was a queen in her own right. So beautiful.

Rein_Carnation
As the smell of autumn blew past her the little flutter's heart jumped with excitement. An adventure of true unknown fear and raging excitement lied before her. She had an idea where the land was they would examine that lied far away from here. It was kind of intimidating and yet she was gearing toward going there no matter what. With Yuuri as her navigator, the world wouldn't be such a scary place. He was bold, brave, and strong enough to take on the most fearsome creatures.

"How about," she mused holding her head high as her eyes gleamed back at him, "right now. Err well unless your travels are taking you elsewhere of course." She tilted her head smiling deeply at him. A true adventure was the soul that connected her to the heart that beat within.

Trotting over to her bag she lifted it in her mouth setting it down by her front hooves. Lipping the contents she found a treasure map, the very one that had called her name one fateful day.

"Alright," she mused unrolling the large picture painted upon a strange cloth, "This is where we need to go. Its an island a couple miles off the coast from this land. It might be further so we'll need to rest now and then along the way." She paused to catch her breath and took time to take in the stallion's reaction to her impulsive desire.

Did he think her silly or naive on this grand loony idea, or was he actually as passionate as she on this grand adventure? She wait for him to answer then Feena would know for certain if this is what the pale giant stallion truly wanted.

Rein_Carnation
Yuuri wasn't realizing that her words and pretty smile were helping him become less observational to the point she was requesting. He blinked those dark orbs as light flickered with reopening them toward her. Only in a split second but it seemed an eternity that he pried his infatuating gaze back to reality again. The only words her heard was "right now". Still in a dreamy reaction he tried coming back to the world they were standing within.

Snap out of it Yuuri. Ahaa haa she'll think you're a weirdo or something. The stallion chuckled to himself for being so obvious that his admiration was truly showing towards her. Oi Yuuri listen to what she's saying already. She wants to go on an adventure, so tell her yes and get it over with. Like you have anywhere to be anyway.

He chuckled again and nodded to her as she retrieved the map."I'm a navigator right? Alright I can do that." He glazed over once more as his own voice played out in his head like a self made recording.

She's so pretty. I hope she likes me too... ack Yuuri.

Looking upward he nodded his head and winked, "Then we shall go to the great unknown Lady Feena. Where all sparkling treasure awaits to be claimed." He stood with a tall stature ruffling his wings, "And fear not lovely maiden...oh jeez I said it again.... for I shall beat down any monster that bars your path to victory.. aha....oi that was so lame."

He grinned and looked deeply at her, though this time he wasn't in his glazed over infatuation. "Well we need some food for the journey so I'll gather some for us. so you wait right here while I get ready." Nodding he smiled one last time before his hind legs powered him toward the skies. Wings of raven ebony pulling him further within the cerulean sea setting a contrast between his fur and the sky.

{PRP} Confrontation: Cynder's Arrival Thu Nov 22, 2007

Rein_Carnation
((This is a personal thread for myself. Please don't post))

User Image

The morning was quite dull as the sun shown so brightly amongst the sleeping land. Birds had recently began their merry little songs, as the wildlife stirred and began their routines. Happy go lucky, a thorn in anyone's gaze that loathed the brighter source of life. It was just unbearable to be even content in something of an obscene fairytale. Swooping inward to a decent there arrived a dark creature with crimson coated wings. She snorted with a quick look upwards as her cloven silver hooves touched upon the ground.

"This will have to do, " she muttered lashing her long tail back and forth in irritation.

Walking onward she inhaled the air wondering what game survived here in this forest. She desired to hunt, mainly something to give chase. Just hearing the panic in their breaths caused her satisfaction. She was rather agile and liked a good balanced meal. So, when a ferret came meagerly out near the creature of darkness it made her grin with a flick of her tongue among her lips. The thought of its size deterring her a bit, she shook it off and decided on a little "flame Broil".

Snorting she waited till the furry creature saw her then would give chase. He was oddly blue but enough to sate her appetite should she catch the delicious little quarry.

User Image

Stitch has made a great heist this round carrying his spoils in his mouth proudly. Feathers on strings, beads, and lots of shiny things he felt quite confident about. Chuckling to himself he wandered out into the open as if parading around his prizes, not noticing the looming threat above him. To Stitch is was just "another" random soquili.

Such a mistake for a little ferret to not pay attention.

He grinned up at this dark mare as if she were the ice mare or the hyper flutter. He had no recollection of the vicious creature that would surely eat him in one gulp.

Smiling he chuckled, not even caring if this female saw his stolen loot, "Heyas there you new here? Me Stitch and I stole lots see?" He held it out proudly and waited for her to comment.

Rein_Carnation
Cynder couldn't believe her ears. This "rodent" was talking to her as if she were a friend. How moronic was that when the poor meal didn't know he was meant to be charred and eaten? Perhaps there were... yes others, she could smell them now. Those "lesser" breeds of soquili that traveled in herds and grazed on grass. The ones that got near two-legged freaks and waited eagerly to be fed like someone's pets. How disgusting those soquili made the races look. Cynder was a pure kalona, a dragon with pride as she struck terror into those unfortunate to cross her path. She watched him her green eyes narrowing as her tail lashed back and forth impatiently.

"Stitch. Ah that's your name is it?" she repeated drawing out the "s" in his name with a mean hiss, "I think you should run right now for I plan to eat you. I have not eaten in many days and you seem quite nice with a bit of fire upon your flesh." She flicked her ears and waited, he either ran or she would torch him right there on the spot.

"Now are you going to do as I asked... or shall we just burn you right here on the spot. Your choice." Perhaps now that pitiful wretch would finally get the point now that she stated her ultimatum.

Stitch's face went from proud and happy to downright terrified. This soquili wasn't one to play around, and worse yet she planned to hurt, no she planned to EAT him. Shivering he began backing away, the contents of his thievery dangling idly from his maw.

"Stitch no like your words. You plan to eat Stitch. Is good um good Stitch. No eat funny happy Stitch." Now he was shaking worse than before still backing away from her with caution. Then with a pivot of his back feet he turned and ran fast as his little feet would carry him.

Stitch knew the female was dead serious as he kept his pace weaving in and out of the thick bushes. His sanctuary was with the ice mare and the herd. So, with little puffs of breath he headed there seeking safety from this nasty creature that meant harm.

Rein_Carnation
Cynder curled her lips upward as he began backing away from her with a terrified guise. Oh she would enjoy this very much, a chase to give her purpose perhaps.

"Yes. That's it little pest." she grinned watching him begin his retreat.

When he gave chase she took to the skies following his every maneuver as her large wings propelled her through the sky. Seemed he was going somewhere, a place of safety she pondered. No matter whoever he was friends with, she'd destroy them too if they stood in her way.

Bring on anything and Cynder would take it willingly. She rather liked the challenge and hoped it wouldn't be dull going out of her way like this.

The fall was flowering leaves, spreading them all over the ground in beautiful colors. The wonderful sign that the winter was arriving with a few turns of the moon. The summer fowl were flying south to the warmth as the winds blew in chilled feelings from the north.

Below the trees stood a mare, a crystalline creature born in the hues of wintry ice and wonder. Her breath escaping in faint white puffs as they swirled and disappeared above her. Life was moving onward yet Celendria's own seemed endless. Even as the years passed, babies were born, and soquili came and went, she never regretted things in her own lifetime. The confrontations, the sadness and joy, it all made the ice mare whom she truly was. Now, walking upon the elder's path she saw things differently yet they all seemed the same in a new light.

Sighing she watched things around her feeling content and at ease. Soon the ground would be white and her youth would surface once more in those frozen depths.

Never would she imagine how fast the sky could turn from cerulean to blackness with the shrill of a small familiar. Which did indeed cause Celendria's eyes to narrow as her ears went flat, turning toward the commotion heading toward her.

Rein_Carnation
Stitch ran for all he was worth, his little heart pounding directly out of his chest with sheer panic. The smell of the cooking fire weaving its way toward him.

If only the little ferret could make it there on time.

He ran faster now noting the blue intensity of the elder mare standing alert to his cries each time the darker demon breathed flame. His tail had singed twice now, which made him cry in shrill whines and screams. Scampering he skidded in toward Celendria pulling in to rest panting at her feet. Looking up he cried to her, little tears streaming his face as the beast came in for a landing in the chase.

"Stitch no bad! Stitch no bad. Save Stitch! Save Stich Cel...en... dria? No eat Stitch! Not Tasty!" He pleaded shrinking into a ball almost as his shaking fingerlike limbs clenching her fetlocks.

Cynder narrowed her green slitted eyes as she descended to the ground releasing one last trail of flame. Direct contact to her quarry causing a faint charred smell to emanate from him. She grinned snaking her head out to bite, but missed as he hid behind something that looked like a horse.

Ah a soquili. Pitiful wretch that you are.

She hissed looking directly at the icy female in front of her, "That's my prey that you stand protecting. Hand him over to me for I desire to eat sometime today. Resist and you'll have more trouble over your head." She snaked her head toward him waiting as her eyes never left this icy mare simply standing there. Was she stupid enough to pick a fight with Cynder perhaps. Shame such a lovely shade of winter would get stained and bruised.. Oh well. She waited with her tail ready to strike should the other foolishly come head on at her. Like a sharpened blade Cynder's tail was ready for the kill, the wounded if she was merciful.

Celendria resisted the urge to question Stitch as to why this beast had followed him into the territory of her friends. The last thing Celendria wished was the injury to any herdmates, and especially Tirranna. She could not bear to even judge the pain and promise this mare would provide. She meant business and Celendria knew this full well.

At that moment she felt trapped between protecting everyone and herself. This was a kalona, a demon born of the soquili races. They found pleasure in pain and suffering, and also struck without notice. This one in particular had a tail that seemed sharp as a weapon, a razor used for slicing. Even the horns that spiked out on her head and neck were used to fight and injure. Thankfully there were no foals about right now to cause even more distraction than was already needed.

Clearing her throat she addressed the kalona trying to be polite and show she meant no ill will toward the angry forceful mare, "I am the ice mare Celendria. You are welcome here dark one." She said with a nod of her head, though her eyes never wavered from the darker creature. "I do not know why Stitch has caused you to follow him here, but I also will not let you eat him either. He is a friend of this herd as are most whom dwell here." She knew this would anger the darker mere, even cause her to attack. She wished no violence but it may come to that eventually. For the protection of the others she'd give her life if she had to.

Rein_Carnation
Cynder narrowed her eyes at this vile mare whom was protecting a thief that was mainly her dinner. He wasn't blue once the fur was removed, he actually was flesh, blood, and bone beneath that furry hide of his.

"Celendria. Your welcome is not needed mare. I am Cynder, All I desire is that rodent at your heels. I will not hesitate to take it by force." She grinned yet her disposition was seemingly calm and cool headed. A dangerous reaction for the wise ice mare that sought peace over violence.

Cynder eyed up the slender mare carefully noting where her tail could slice or her horns could gouge at a moment's notice. Easy as pie basically if she went that route on taking back what was really hers. How dare this Celendria tell her otherwise?

"Come we shall be civil and open to no negotiation. This is by my terms and only those shall be heeded." She hissed once more glaring at the ice mare, a fair warning before blood would be shed.

Stitch heard the Kalona's nasty tongue and shivered at the thought that he would be lost in her belly soon. He for once didn't speak for fear of Cynder would lash out past Celendria and grab him. All he could do was still cling to the mare's back leg and hope she was a decent shield in the arrival of a battle breaking out over him. Usually he loved the attention, but now was terrified this was happening in the first place.

Celendria never once quickened her breath, nor did she flinch in the presence of this beastly demon dragon. She was protecting everything that she held dear as she laid her life on the line for the sake of a pitiful ferret. Not to mention an unruly one that stole, lied, and was downright asinine to everyone around him. But the ice mare was mainly concerned that even though he was all these things, he still was part of the herd.

"Cynder. I am sorry I can not comply with your terms. I gave you welcome to be here in this land, my dwelling where I watch over and help the others. I can not allow this sort of violence to ensure where peace is harmony and tranquility. This is a place where all are welcome should they accept it willingly." She stood with her body tall and proud yet her form held a slight quivering to it announced by the mere twitches in her withers. She knew she was not designed for combat but she wouldn't let down the herd either. She was of course an elder and was determined to follow through with things she had learned deeply within her time that had passed here in this land she now called home.

Rein_Carnation
Cynder was growing impatient hissing with each breath before she automatically swung her tail within inches of the ice mare's face before her tail grazed the blue chest leaving a tiny welt that started to bleed. She pulled her tail back as it snaked along with her.

"I will not negotiate which is rightfully mine mare. And know this for next time I strike it will be for your throat. So do consider what I've said for it shall be only now that I resort to this talk." She hissed and grinned at the mare though there was no sarcasm nor folly in her action. Her direct attack with a razorblade tail was her way of saying "now" politely, next time she wouldn't hesitate to slice deeper.

Now it was up to Celendria to either die of stupidity or hand over that damn hairball she wanted. How hard was it to follow directions Cynder muttered to herself. She was tired of the games these pathetic human loving creatures played with her.

It was time to deal with them accordingly.

Celendria flinched as the tail struck her gritting teeth as the blood emerged. The stinging pain that was trickling from her chest was a reminder how she must remain strong. Cynder was hard headed it seemed, but dangerous with the way she handled things. She was a killer, a creature of dark instinct that meant what she said.

For a moment Celendria pondered handing over Stitch, a ploy to save herself at that very moment. If he was taken care of Cynder would retreat and leave the heard to be on its own. What was one miserable ferret that upset everyone to the pain the ice mare was enduring right now? But she stood there defiantly praying she had the strength to carry on. Euphoria, her children, all the herd, they counted on her to protect them.

Stitch is part of the herd.

"Strike me down if you wish Cynder. I shall protect my herd, my friends, my family at all costs." Celendria now pawed the ground as her eyes stayed directly upon the Kalona, her neck trickling blood still but not as much. If she had to fight to protect, to give her life to love, then that is what must be done.

Stitch who normally would have loved this was shaking more and more. His paws griped her fetlocks even tighter now watching the beast fight for him. Soon the mares would fight and he wanted no part of it. Scampering away into the teepee he hid there peeking out at the two preparing for combat. Blood had already been shed because of him, he hoped it wouldn't be more than that.

Rein_Carnation
Lunging forward at Celendria's disappointing reaction she meant to strike and crack her neck or ribcage with her lethal tail. Perhaps if this mare was so foolish she'd enjoy hearing a cracking bone somewhere. And maybe that foolish rodent might just fear for that pitiful mare and hand himself over. All she wanted was the ferret after all. What was so damn hard about understanding a dragon's appetite the mare wondered. Foolish.

Celendria may of been older than the dragon, but she wasn't foolish to take a killing blow either. As the tail swung at her, the elder mare reared upward attempting to deter the swinging weapon at her. Kicking out her limber agile legs Celendria tried her best to lower the blows the dragon was issuing toward her. Grunting she swung herself back down toward the ground as she pawed the ground in front of her.

Cynder narrowed her emerald orbs at this defiant creature. Tired. She was so tired of this charade the other was posing at her. Cynder desired food within her growling stomach lying deep inside her as flame was working its way into her nostrils. If this mare wanted a fight it was time to play with fire. Snorting she released two puffs of smoke before opening her mouth to release a single layered flame at her target.

Celendria smelt the inferno as it sneaked out from the other's nostrils. The sort of aroma that literally made your eyes water miserably was drifting from the dragon. She did however move quite fast as the flame spewed outward toward her. Just barely missing her coat she had avoided the first stream of flame licking toward her from the sanctuary of Cynder's flaming bonfire.

Cynder hissed at Celendria releasing yet another flame as it caught upon the teepee setting it to burn. Raising a brow she noted how fast a human could run as her place of safety was beginning to burn even more now. The thought occurred to the kalona dragon what human flesh tasted like. But she was more amused watching the girl try and put the flames out.

Celendria narrowed her own eyes now for Tirranna was in danger along with losing her sanctuary of sleep and rest. The time was over for niceties, now it was personal. Snorting she waited for the next stream of flame that would be aimed at her again. She wanted to help her friend, but on the other hand she had a problem to deal with as well.

Feena flitted alongside that great stallion wondering back toward the clearing where she recently had come back to upon reaching adulthood. She knew supplies for their journey would be plentiful there. Besides her mother stated how nice the two legger was to help her soquili friends when in need. So, it was in her best interest to head there and gather what she needed. Smiling at him she never fluttered her large wings faster than the great swooping of his.

Yuuri was enjoying himself, forgetting the whole ordeal with the "other" him as he accompanied such a beautiful lady that fluttered by his side. His long legs outstretched he glided with her feeling quite grand that such a mare would spend time with him. Maybe the whole thing of the Maoh could be placed in the background and he could focus on this adventure even more.

Even though Feena was quite in a daze feeling special with Yuuri, she snapped to attention as they neared the clearing. The putrid odor of fire and brimstone was unbearable as the black smoke curled upward toward the two soquili. She squinted lowering herself closer to the ground noting the fiery teepee and the ice and darkness in confrontation. This occurred to the lively flutter something was terribly wrong in this mess.

Yuuri snorted from the smoke feeling the tenseness in his companion. He noted the dragon and his face went intense as his legs pulled him into a dive flourished with those strong wings that beat upon his back. Already he was blacking out as the pendent upon his chest glowed brightly, letting the aura penetrated through the black snarling swirls that barred their way. Letting out a warning he came in for a landing as his massive feet touched upon the ground in a loud embrace. Already he seemed much larger than before as his black orbs focused directly on the dragon fighting the elder mare. Stepping over toward Celendria he tossed his head and waited for the dragon's response. He noticed the bleeding upon the ice mare's neck which made him extremely angry.

Feena landed not too far away blinking in an almost curious yet excited expression. It seemed the friend she thought was quite handsome had changed somehow. He was bolder, more chivalrous than he had been before. An almost swooning feeling was feeling Feena with adoration as she noticed how protective he was becoming.

Celendria snorted and was about to charge when the great winged landed near her, stepping in front of the confrontation to deter the dragon. She paused releasing a breath stepping back from the great massive male between her and Cynder. Perhaps a godsend she noted Feena that had landed not too far from where this male did.

Cynder was also about to lunge if it weren't for this great annoyance whose feet looked to be bigger than she ever witnessed. He wore strange trappings and a light emanated from that pendent around his neck. "great... now I deal with more annoyance when I hunger. Bring it stallion for I wait for your death eagerly." She was so fed up with toying and decided she'd burn the place down if she had to.

Tirrana was fleeing this way and that trying to save what she could of the teepee before it burned to nothing. Thankful that her soquili friends were eager to help she tried desperately to gain ground past the fire and watch over the beautiful ice mare that now had help it looked like. Such a grand stallion he was as well dressed in funny clothing.

Glory was rushing buckets to Shaylee as she tried watching everything going on around her. Now Feena had returned with a strange stallion that was protecting her mom right now. Such odd things going on she noted before seeking for more buckets and kicking dirt at the teepee.

User Image

Shaylee zipped back and forth along with Saissis alternating buckets with the water she grabbed from the river past the deer trail. She wanted to watch this great dragon but duties came first.

Saissis as well was fighting to help the fire though the poor teepee skins were rather toasy, filled with holes and other bad things. She frowned with each bucketful knowing poor Tirranna wouldn't have a very warm enclosure for winter. Already the snow was beginning to fall slowly making the mare move even more rapidly than before.

Rein_Carnation
Cynder was furious that this pack of nags was standing in her way. Pulling a deepness in her chest she exhaled a raging set flame from her gullet smoking from her nostrils. Letting the stream streak outward it engulfed the teepee hide in complete fire. Everything was set to a brilliant blaze, all of it charring as it tumbled downward in a smoldering heap.

"Ahaa haa haa let it burn... let it all burn if you won't give me what I desire. See now ice mare how your two-legged friend struggles to keep her sanctuary. Pity isn't it? She'll have nowhere to sleep when the snow finally settles" she announced as puffs of smoke billowed outward from her nostrils.

Grinning as the soquili all scattered from the burning hide, she noted how sadness was settling in their hearts. She felt no pity for them for she felt no sadness of her own. Just that anger that succumbed her own eyes for something gone astray.

Celendria shrilled as she saw the flaming mass engulf the teepee till it crumbled like shallow leaves. Her voice held pain and suffering as she heard her own friend cry out that the battle was lost. The mare was torn on what to do finally for everything was resting on her shoulders of death and life. Her protection of a thieving ferret had cost Tirranna her only means of life. How was this an elder's decision if she could not protect and nurture everyone she held deep in her heart. Now all she felt was two things deafening to a wiseman's conscience, regret and anger. Neither of which were her ally or salvation right now. Blindly she stepped around the taller white stallion and prepared to charge at Cynder, ready to kill her if need be. Beginning a gallop she headed straight at Cynder.

Yuuri whom was settled in front of Celendria stood quite boldly as his mane swirled and shifted in the last flickering light of the smoldering blaze. He was ready for this dragon to pursue her charge even with his presence. But when the elder mare deliberately went out of his protection to attack blindly, the stallion turned so quick he snorted with a heave of his breath. He never thought that Celendria would even attempt to try and take on the dragon herself. She truly was a brave soul, but this wasn't her time to prove it. Pivoting his heels he followed after her in hopes that she'd be intervened.

Though in this fatal charge the dragon would take no mercy in the mare's death, rather she'd enjoy it to the bitter end. This was unjust and sorely unbalanced. To rectify this another stepped out intervening the ice mare and dragon. Odd to one's first view, this mare stepped with agile grace and determined will as she crashed into Cynder trying to knock her off balance.
Claws of silver pushed her smaller form at the dragon mare as her head thrusted forward. Dressed in an odd outfit (though who wasn't these days) she carried herself as a warrior wearing a smaller hat with a waving paper taisman. Pushing forward she lunged into Cynder with all her might.

Tirranna had cried since her teepee was nothing but the bony frame that once stood proudly. It was gone, all of it as the burned smell of deer hide crawled in her nostrils. She cried aloud wiping tears as they arrived one right after another. Feeling the presence of the other soquili she looked upward to see Shaylee, Saissis, and Glory standing near her for comfort and warmth.

Stitch crept out and hid behind the crying human girl feeling a bit distraught this was his doing. Now he agreed that perhaps he shouldn't of bragged to the big scary dragon kalona. Sometimes its best to let sleeping wolves, or in her case dragons lie.

Rein_Carnation
The whole turn of events caught Cynder off guard, for when she was trying take on Celendria's foolishness she never anticipated another soquili charging at her. Feeling the impact the dragon fell off balance and crashed into the ground with a deafening thud. With a deafening roar she lashed her tail about trying to regain balance. Never had she felt so angry in her life as she pulled herself to her feet. Eyes now pinned upon her oppressor that had even remotely tried to piss her off.

A single mare with claws? Cynder chuckled noting just how small this little mare really was dressed in some kind of odd outfit with a paper that hung in front of her eyes.

"Enough of this! All I desired was the damn blue the rodent, but now... now you've left me no choice. I'll destroy all of you in one breath. Cry and seek solace for your burned flesh shall be what makes me most happy!" she raged and hissed puffing smoke through her nostrils as a dragon prepared for combat. Swinging her tail she managed to gradually graze Celendria pushing her back once more.

Hsien-Ko pushed the ice mare back shaking her head, "No elder! This is not your time to die and neither is it the others. Protect them as you have. I will deal with this menace demon." Snorting she pawed the ground watching Cynder, her eyes narrowed intently. She will fall by my hooves if she touches the others... You have my word Elder.

"Demon! You are not welcome here and that is not what is wanted here. Now you leave me no choice but to extinguish your life!" she snorted with a loud whinney before charging again.

Celendria skidded with her tail furling behind her like a mass of white silken snow. Her shoulder was now bleeding from the impact of the bladed tail that caught her so rapidly. Stumbling she stepped backwards her lungs heaving as tears streaked her cheeks.

Is this truly how an elder is chosen? Am I to idly stand here as everyone I know dies from this creature who deems our death? Its not fair! I never wanted this arrival of a demon the others have been safe from. Now I bleed as the rain falls from the skies in the summer. As the wintry winds call my name from so far away my blood burns with her destruction. And yet is it truly what I want?

For a moment Celendria trurned her head to face the sobbing human she called friend as Chepi was to her. Protect. That was what an elder did when peril was promised in harsh whispers and unforgivable phrases . And this was what she must do as she turned her back toward the dragon breathing her name and memory, etching them in her mind so clearly. Starting to walk she began a trail toward Tirranna as Hsien-Ko stood in the way along with Yuuri. Though her heart and mind screamed to fight, Celendria knew her place was with the one creature that could never defend herself from Cynder. Tirranna was very precious to Celendria as was the herd she overseen. This was her place, her time to prove the status she'd gain. She always believed that with age came wisdom, and now she understood.

Craning her head downward she nuzzled Tirranna with a soft breath she blew outward.

Yuuri gave a promising look to Feena and nodded before he too stood his ground against Cynder. Not knowing who Hsien-Ko was, he still appreciated the help she was giving. His mane furloughed as did his tail as the blue light of his swaying pendent radiated his strength even more now.

"You've done nothing but selfish motions demon mare, a judgment that you deem worthy of your own actions. All this... this peril and commitment to destroy those you despise. Have you ever once though why you want something to cause this much angst against you? To cause this much pain to those that would wish you good will and help you? No! All you deem is our destruction. You have no fear or contempt of your actions... as long as that ferret fills your belly! I say Cynder you are spoiled and a coward to attack the innocent! You are better off with your own kind if you can not even remotely accept and come to terms with an elder's request." He sorted breath as his large head tossed and nodded with eyes that pinned the dragon like daggers sifting through her soul.

Tirrana screamed with a sob as the ice mare once again came closer to death. She understood that the mare was protecting them, but for what cause should she die in their defense? She cared too much to see these creatures lost to darkness. Noticing Stitch she uplifted him in her arms holding him tightly as he shook and took on fear only he could know.

"Its because of you little blue thief. You brought her here didn't you" she spoke with her voice shaking as she petted his furry little blue forelock of hair. She never expected a kalona to ever enter there and now one had. The stories of the demons were indeed true. As Celendria walked toward her, the maiden noticed something familiar as her belly swayed in her slow pace of sorrow. Her sides weren't to formed yet, but Tirranna noticed the miracle that was growing deep within the ice mare causing her to smile. Life was seeking a way to overcome darkness as it unfolded.

As the mare neared closer she wrapped her free arm around her burying her soft face in the cool yet warm fur of the Celendria. "Mare of ice... thank you." she cried with a sob as her other arm hung tightly to Stitch.

The other mares of the flutter variety stared in awe of the events unfolding before them. Though the teepee was hopeless as the buckets lay strewn about the grounds, there seemed a new found hope within the stallion and the odd mare. Though things were grim and unsure, there seemed to be something lifting like a veil in the horizon.

Cynder was furious as she noticed the ice mare retreat to stand guard over a measly human girl. These soquili were truly worthless, primates of their own species only out to make a mockery of her. She could burn this mass completely engulfing them in her torrent of bale fire, but why should she when all they had was bitter words for her anyway. She was tired of this charade deeming that rodent not worth her time as the human stroked its measly little head like a ragged furry doll. They could keep their damn little menace, she was sure to find hunting quarry elsewhere.

Snorting she in took the others with a squinted view hissing as smoke wafted up from her nostrils. The strange odd looking mare that rushed her before standing rigid and full of fury in her stance. This was a knight, a warrior intending death should she even remotely charge the elder again. Not much but a few cuts grazed the ice mare's body yet seeing this made Cynder feel dignified she had inflicted damage. Basically to prove a point to all of them with her frustration and anger.

Knowing the blue rodent wasn't worth her time anymore she sought out another feeding idea noticing a rabbit not too far from where they all stood. Puffing smoke from her nose she waited then released a stream of fire toward the flailing creature. As it screamed in the utmost terror, Cynder snaked her head outward and grabbed the dead animal, crunching noisily in front of her horrified companions. Releasing another puff of smoke she looked at them with a large smile.

"I've deemed that rodent not of my concern anymore. I'll leave for I grow bored of your pathetic welcome." she hissed looking over her handiwork, "Better find some means to keep that human warm elder.... I do think the snow is coming very soon."

She grinned extending her leathery like velvet crimson wings before pushing off in the sky with a great push of her legs. Pulling herself higher she laughed at them for the damage was done. Though the attack of the warrior mare had caused some bruising in her sides, she was still confident she could of taken them all if she wanted.

~*~*~*~

Celendria stood firm with Tirrana watching the scene continue in disgust of the desecration of a rabbit. Though she was thankful it wasn't Stitch, she still held fear for the little creature that had given Cynder satisfaction to leave. Stitch probally wasn't out of the clear though, for she just knew Cynder would return if she found a reason to do so. All Celendria was thankful of is that the herd and especially Tirranna was safe from anymore attacks. But what of her human friend now that her home was nothing but a memory the elder wondered. Cynder was right, the snows were on their way for they spoke to the mare in sweet lyrics and soft tones of chilled serenity. Tirrana would surely freeze when the first ice storm finally made his rounds in this land.

Celendria wouldn't let that happen, she just couldn't. Maybe if there was another of her kind she could possibly stay with during the rebuilding of her beloved sanctuary. This was the first thing the mare was pondering looking downward at the tear streaked girl.

Looking upward she smiled at the two new soquili that had helped her nodding to them with a welcoming whinny, "Thank you friends. You are welcome here though much does not reside from the demon's attack. I am quite sorry and apologetic things have come to pass like this."

Hsien-Ko stepped forward, her lungs heaving from the past battle. Some blood trickling from the spikes she encountered in the brawl to protect Celendria. "Tis fine elder. I am in your debt for letting you get injured as you have. I will stay and protect this herd if I am accepted to do so. No demon shall prevail as long as I stand over these grounds through light and dark times. This you have my word for I am Hsien-Ko the warrior."

Yuuri smiled bowing his head to the ice mare glancing over at the young flutter he fancied quite a lot. If he hadn't come this far on that journey, the elder may not be standing. He now carried a regular look about him for the shining pendent hung idly about his neck as calm as it had been before. "Elder. If it wasn't for Feena here wanting to go adventuring, we I would have never got the notion to follow her and come to ask for provisions...." he stated looking at the charred remains. Now may of been a bad time to bring that up anyway. "Ah yeah aha haa ha I don't think its anything to worry about anymore Feena."

Feena stepped forward after nuzzling her mother, "Well at least we're all safe and sound now right? That I'm glad for anyway. Yuuri I think the trip will have to wait for a bit. I'd like to help mom and her friends to clean up here a bit. Would you mind I mean soon as things are cleared up I'm sure the adventure won't go anywhere." She looked at him with a pleading look though her heart as well was dying to explore the great unknown.

Yuuri chuckled walking over steadily to stand next to Feena. "Of course. Hey I'll help too if you need me too. You know a big strong stallion helping out the damsels in distress, kind of a kingly thing to do huh?"

"Wel okay then I think this place is doomed. Where to start oh great thinkers and elder?" Shaylee asked with her nose scrunched up horribly from the burning charred remains.

"What we need to do first, and I'm sure Celendria has noticed this, is find Tirranna a place to stay till the ice storms are through. We can forage ourselves over the wintry months, but our friend here can't do the same. What say you elder of this proposition?" Lady Saissis queried with soft eyes lying upon the others as she spoke with a moving gentle voice.

"Indeed I think that's our best route to go now mother. I know these two-leggers are afflicted by the cold worse than we are at any given notice. I'm sure there are others that would help her if we alerted the mates of the herd from here. Like say umm Zaribe. Don't he have a mate with a twio-legger?" Glory stepped toward Tirranna tussling her hair with her muzzle playfully but gently.

"Umm... if I can make a suggestion," came the voice of a little dappled pony trotting through with the prettiest blue eyes, "Well I like the two-legger idea quite well. I think you all are wonderful to think of Tirranna than yourselves at a time like this. If there's anything I may do to help... please ask." Peaches nodded curtly with a little bow of her head.

Celendria looked to all of them and nodded, "Yes. The first urgency shall be finding Tirranna a place of residence till the winter and ice have passed. I shall not let her stay in this frigid winter much more if I can help it. I will seek out Dyami and Frosta for advice on the other two-leggers. Then we shall find her a place to stay." Looking downward she smiled at the girl and nodded. Now began another journey that Celendria was traveling toward.
